Hi, i went to coffee day on bengaluru central in belandur on thursday (10th jan 2018) and ordered one strawberry slush. The drink was priced at 189 and i ordered that. The bill was for 303inr. When i asked for the bill she told me the bill machine isnt working. I feel i have been ripped off. I need the bill breakdown or i will goto the consumer court.

I visited the ccd outlet located inside the inorbit mall, vadodara on january 13, 2019 with my family.
Since i am a regular customer at ccd, i am well aware of the combos available there. On entering the store, there wasn’t any cashier available to attend as the designated person was busy with his phone in one fine corner.
Secondly when i enquired about the chai+ maska bun combos available for inr 49, he quoted the amount as inr 66.
I thought may be there is a price discrepancy for these combos in various outlets. So i settled for a combo and a single chai as the price for the combo was inr 66 according to him and single chai was for inr 51. I didn’t want to pay 15 rupees for the maska bun in another combo.
When he printed the bill, the combo was for inr 49 and the single chai for inr 59.
When i complained about the same to him, that why will i pay 59 for only chai when i can get chai+bun for 49 he absolutely refused to understand.

I was okay paying him extra 10 rupees because he added the maska bun in my order. (Ideally he should have given me my 10 rupees back). And here it is not about the money, we tend to spend 100s when we visit such outlets but this was misleading your customers with wrong information. Also instead of apologising he and his team mates made sure we were made to sit for another 20 minutes for our order to arrive whereas people who ordered after us were served before us.

Am i a fool that i am an aware ccd customer who knows about what is available at ccd at what prices? Also this is no hate towards the brand. I have been served so well at all their outlets i have been to. Most of the times the attendant themselves suggest us combos that we find great value for money. This was the first time a ccd outlet has let me down and that too in gujarat, a state that i have observed is exceptional with its hospitality especially in serving food to their customers.

Even after asking the bill the attender refused to give the bill stating machine is not working and he asked me to transfer the bill amount on his number through paytm or by google pay.. Pathetic service and behave at marathalli ccd right apposite to @home mall bangalore, the same service i am receiving from past one month.. Plz visit this cafe and check as a customer

I am a regular customer of ccd. I usually sit and do my office work for 3-4 hours almost daily and order one coffee everytime. I have bills for the same. Today when i ordered coffee, the staff said that you have to order every hour if you want to sit!! There are orders from manager!!
Is this the policy of ccd? If this is the policy all over world then better show on notice on your outlets. You are forcing customers and are loosing them. I wont visit any of your branch again and will ask to do same for my friends.

Dear ccd,

Last night 10th january i went to ccd gachibowli which is on the first floor near (Cream stone and karachi bakery).

I work in it firm and on 11th had cultural celebration for pongal. Me and my husband was tired so decided to have coffee at this coffeeshop.
We reached the cafe around 9:30pm. I told him to give me coffee from the menu pointing to one item.
He looked at me may be because of my outfit he thought i can’t afford it or what.. He said in a rude manner.

Cashier - it costs 120
I - ok will you accept cash or card
Cashier - the coffee cost 120
I - ok fine!! Is card machine working.
Cashier - the coffee only, costs 120 rupees

I stared at him in anger and gave him the card.

He took the card and we order 1 pastry as well.

He brought coffee to my table, believe me it was luke warm and total milk, very less coffee..

I took the coffee back to him is his steamer is not working he said its working please drink first i told him i already tasted it.. Its not even a coffee.

He took the coffee and heated it again.

Later he got me a pastry for my son (Which he microwaved for significant amount of time)

I think if you are running a restaurant you should be knowing basic info that if you microwave cake /pastry it will become hard and stone. My child didn’t had single bite, when i asked him did you microwaved the pastry he bluntly said no, (Where he litrly did microwaved the pastry infront of me)

Is ccd hiring such employee. Such pathetic service and top of that pathetic food.

No wonder why ccd rating is going down.

I even have video recording photo's regarding the incident with bills receipts, i am ready to share it also. But i don’t want to make another famous video for ccd.

I want a serious action against this employee. We are not paying so much money to eat crap and get treated miserably.

Yesterday i had a visit to your cypress, mulund location ccd. I ordered a capuciono and when i received the order it was smelling like nescafe beans flavour. I asked to change the coffee and got the same nescafe flavour again.

I stay in mira road and easily access mira road rassaz theatre or bhayander maxus mall ccd. I'm a customer with ccd for over 8 years now and have clear understanding of ccd aroma. However, the coffee which i received at your cypress, mulund location was duplicate and not at all ccd beans or brand was utilized.

I'm never going to visit that branch again but just felt like passing this over to you..

Actually i wanted to send this email to mr jogi rawal sir but i dont know how it will reached to him this mail. Actually i worked in cafe coffee day new friends colony 12 but after working 1 month i get so much hard time while working there. The manager and staff are totally embarrassed me. So i decided to resgined the ccd company when i wanted give the resignation they told me you cannot take resignation before 3 month. And when i asked them for my 1 month salary they didn't even pay my working day salary. Please help me iam facing so much problem.

Being a student of this college, I have noticed regularly that this particular branch never have some products like cold cocoa latte. Since products available here are at some subsidized rates, I think this might be the reason behind the same.
This matter seems very small but happened every other day. I have observed this for over 10 times before writing

I am shocked at the exorbitant price i had to pay for a cold coffee at your prabhadevi branch, mumbai today.
I just asked for a strong cold coffee, which normally costs approx rs.120-150, i was charged double apparently because i had asked for a strong one.
Without any advance intimation, i was charged and billed the same. I paid by cash but this is daylight dacoity.
Apparently your brand has been raising prices randomly.
The least you can do is refund the money, and have some price check.
I used to regularly sit at your bandra outlet, which closed about 2 yrs back, when we used to get value for money.
Pathetic!!!

I went to ccd btm 2nd stage in morning at 11:50 am and went to place order of one samosa and water bottle, the person who was taking order names chetna told me that samosa will not come songle piece you have to place order for minimum 2 samosa else they wont let me sit in ccd.
I was surprised the way she spoke and really thought so this is how ccd force their customers to place order by humilating them forcing them to order.
I am the customer its my choice wat i wnat to order if you dont give samosa in single piece than why the hell have you mentioned it in your menu.
I will share this on each and every social media.

That is why you guys are in losses and no customer returns to you.
You should take a strict action against this.

Outlet-mogappair ambattur industrial estate, mogappair west, chennai.

Your manager at this outlet, mr. Robos has misbehaved with my colleague. He behaved very aggressively raising his finger and threatened us, asking us to leave the outlet.
All this because we entered the outlet, settled down on our laptops for 10 mins and then went to the counter to place our order. He said that we are coming every week and leaving without placing any order.
Please be informed that this is only our second visit to this outlet and i have a copy of the last bill for my records.
Is this the way you behave with your customers??? Please ensure that such rogue elements are terminated from service immediately.
We have viewed this gross misbehaviour very seriously and will escalate this incident unless you take action against this rogue.

This is likely the worst cafe i’ve ever been to, was sitting & working politely with my 4 coworkers, two o[censored]s ordered coffee & the others didn’t want to. The store manager ‘rahul’ comes up & informs that we can’t sit in the cafe till each & everyone of the group places an order and then asks us to leave the cafe.

Never heard of a cafe, restaurant or even bar where it is necessary for each & every person of the same group to place an order.

Most of all the place wasn’t even busy, with lots of tables empty. With this kind of attitude of the employees those tables will remain empty.

Pathetic & extremely rude.

Have been a regular patron of ccd with monthly personal spends at ccd of about rs. 6-7k, but after this senseless incident i don't think i'm ever gonna visit or recommend a ccd to anyone. I can understand bad food/coffee once in a while but this kind of attitude towards patrons is unacceptable.

Possible solution: hire and train better store employees/baristas; improve in-store service & employee attitude towards customers. (Personally i feel this store needs new employees/baristas, but that is your call to make)

On 10th DEC 2018 4:08pm i visited ccd store at canaught place shop no. 4 DMRC Rajiv chowk. New delhi.
I ordered creamy cold chocolate @ 189. And in bill they added ccd season treati @4.76. without intimating me. Once I asked why they charged 4.76rs. cashier Priyanka said it already added in system so this coming in all bills. I ask her to refund than she said it's non refundable. And the store manager Sandeep apologize and said this charge is deducted because they giving coupon ( pic of coupon is attached). He handed over me the coupon after the argue. And i guess this happened with lots of customer on that day. Generally customer just pay and don't look back on the bills. And store just making mokery of it.

I ask Sandeep I don't want coupon and reverse my charge. He said it's non refundable.

I felt disappointed why I'm paying money for coupon which I don't need.

As a responsible citizen of this country Its duty to intimate you there is something wrong going on and it should be fixed.

As a consumer I trust the slogan "Jago grahak jago" will be justified not from the customer side but from the responsible people who looking up on the complaint.

If ccd is not able to manage its technology, then its better to have services from third party vendors. Swiggy, zomato can you support you and atleast save you in some front. There is no need to push your application, if your pos is not capable enough to properly integrate nad communicate customer orders.

Anyhow, the staff training ccd really require to take care of. It's quite familiar situation with your outlets that your staff is rude enough to answer any situation. I do not understand what ccd really spend to educate and train its human resource. They are in business of hospitality and still after decades of experience in indian market the least quality of services you can expect from ccd only.

The situation is, i have used the application of ccd, placed the order and paid the money now they have received the order after 20 minutes, which is a big failure of technology and now when i told them to provide coffees is take away, they are adamant enough to argue, ccd being a corporation need to make their outlets full of supply to cater customers want, a help from y side please refer concept of just in time, it will seriously help you provided you have right kind of expertise within your organisation.

This whole episode happened in shanti niketan outlet of ccd, where it is least expected. At least ccd would have provided some trained personnal considering the location of their store. The person from ccd i have written about is mr. Vishal.

I got a bottle of water from ccd, phoenix mall, chennai. The water had a very bad taste. It definitely tasted like tap water. The staff are definitely refiling sold bottles and are selling them off. The seals on the bottles are bot visible. Its a shame to pay for water and find that even it is adulterated. Kindly take action on the store and see that its set right.

I am residing at pragathinagar, opp: jntu, kukatpally, hyderabad. I use to purchase coffee powder of mix of 70:30 sometimes 60:40 from a coffeday shop located in kphb colony, hyderabad. For the last several days (Almost one month) the powder is not available at that shop. The boy at the shop says that there is no stock of coffee beans. Could you please look into this and explain the reason for the shortage of coffee beans.

Yesterday 01.12.2018 i went to cafe coffee day, dd mall outlet, gwalior and ordered two items

Sizzle dazzle brownie (Price 239)
Vanilla cappuccino (Price 138)
These price i have quotes are according to the menu that ccd guy provided.

But when i got the bill, it was of 394 and that guy had put 5% gst twice. First on product price and then on total bill. When i countered him and asked about this, he started justifying saying that price has been increased from today and menu has not been updated. But he was not able to produce proof.

Many people were present there. When they checked their bill. This discrepancy was in their bill also.

Anyway in my bill just 19 rs were extra. This is small amount for me but the way thus was done is totally wrong. This is illegal. Tell me what action are you going to take otherwise i am going to complain to consumer forum regarding this and demand competition from them.

Mr. Manish kumar from h. R. Depoartment is not accept my resinging letter withaout any resseon.

We are not doing any meetings here and we are coming and giving the order and we sit and talk but they are behaving like we are doing ### . Zonal head is not allowing us he is using bad behaviour . To achieve there target they forcing us to order and serving with the bad quality of food which is expired ...and the person named vasanth (manager)is forcing us to order 500 per hour from each person ...kindly look into it ... as a educated we know ccd is to sit and spend time together .
