Hello,
It's my first experience from cars24, may be last exp too... Due to below reason:
- date: 27. Apr.19, loc: nagarbhavi office
- they quoted to my car after the inspection is 1.27l and in that 3k to be paid for their charges.
- i was ok, bcz may be its little old car though the condition very good. They said this is the best market value for that car.
- but on curiosity i also requested buy car from cars24 of same model, km and make etc. To check the selling price... Now the actual issue is on : the same car of 1.27l they are selling for 2.5l claiming that i10 have very high market value???!!!
It means they are having the profit margin more than 1l by just sitting??!!!
So i can call this as fraud...

That's why i cancelled this deal
Kindly the respective people should involve & stop this fraud from cars24

    I saw an advertisement of cars24 which were saying free car checkup. I went to their store in thane along with my car. They start checking my car. They check each and every minor thing in the car. After 1.5 hours of inspection, they end up with giving me list of problems which i have in my car and i went home. After some time i got call from them having said that they can give me ₹xxxx for my car. I asked them to negotiate the amount and i increase quoted price, they said we will call you in few hours. Since i didn’t receive any call, i personally call their care number and asked for the update, they were like sorry the amount you quoted is not possible. So i said i don’t want to sell my car and disconnect the call. After some time i visit the dealer of my car for my personal work and he told me that my car is available for sale for ₹xxxxx amount and all the details are shared by the cars24 with all dealers in the area. Cars24 publish my car for sale without my permission.

    We assure you that we don't share any private information like mobile number or car car number plate with anyone including our channel partners. Even when the pictures of a car is clicked during the inspection process, the number plates of the car are hidden under our company boards.

      I contact to cars24.com regarding change of owner’s name (Rc transfer) in the records of cars, your company assure they will do the same very early, but till date cars24.com not changed the owner’s name.

      I checked online on website of ministry of road transport and highways (Know your rc status), my name is appearing till date. (Copy of status is enclosed).

      You are requested to kindly look into the matter and take necessary action.

        My brother-in-law approached the cars24 golf course extension road, sector 62, gurgaon, branch to sell off his maruti 800 car (2009 ac uniq model) with registration number upxxl3xx1, with the appointment id [protected], on 08/01/2019. I also accompanied him and we both met with executive vikas and branch manager, abhinav, regarding the further steps and process.

        Since, the car was originally in the name of my father-in-law, who expired during september 2010, my brother-in-law got the car ownership transferred to his name via rto, where the car has been registered. Vikas from cars24 got the same verified on the vaahan application, where the details are mentioned with owner name as my brother-in-law's name and financed from u g o bank, although the correct bank name is uco bank, where the car was financed from.

        After car valuation, we were told regarding the final offer price and the next steps. We agreed to the offered price and then after completing the formalities, we were provided with a token amount of inr 1000 via online bank transfer for the deal confirmation. We were told that the remaining balance will be credited to our account within 24 hours.

        The next day, we received a call from the executive vikas stating that under the vaahan portal, the name of car owner is stating as my brother-in-law's name, however the car is still showing as financed by uco bank, and they said it will be required to provide the noc of the car loan along with form 35 (Duly signed by bank manager), and then only cars24 could proceed with the rc transfer process and until then they won't be able to credit the remaining amount.

        So, we got the noc and form 35 arranged from uco bank, where the car loan was financed against my father-in-law's name, and submitted the original copies at the golf course extension road branch in gurgaon. We were told that after the documents have been verified, the amount will be credited to our account.

        After waiting for couple of days, we received a call from vikas and abhinav, stating that this noc will not work, as the car ownership is in the name of my brother-in-law (Under vaahan portal) and the car loan noc is against the name of his father, which can not be worked out. We told them that it is not possible to arrange for the noc in the name of my brother-in-law, as it can only be provided against the person's name whose loan has been running with the bank. But still we spoke to the bank manager, wherein he refused that the noc could not be provided against the name of my brother-in-law. So, we told vikas and abhinav, from cars24, that we can provide with the death certificate of my father-in-law along with an affidavit stating that my brother-in-law got the ownership of car transferred from his father's name to his name, which could be submitted to rto along with the loan noc and form 35, upon which they refused that it cannot be done, and the only way out is to have the noc in the name of my brother-in-law.

        After waiting for around a month or so, we raised a complaint at cars24 customer care on 01/03/2019, with ticket number 78505, and we briefed about the entire incident and what all steps have been taken so far, and we requested to escalate the matter and expedite the process because there hasn't been any resolution so far, wherein we didn't received any amount and we have lost our car as well. This whole process again took around 15-20 days, but there wasn't any resolution provided to our problem, and the only resolution we received during this time was, that we would receive a call from the operations department and they will take this forward.

        So, after multiple calls to the customer care and after around 10 days we received a call from cars24 operations department (Miss pooja), who mentioned that she would look into this matter and requested that if we could provide her with the car original noc and form 35, she would take this further. Upon this, we told her that we have already submitted the original noc and form 35 to vikas and abhinav, at golf course extension branch, gurgaon, and now there is no way where we can provide the same again. And then miss pooja said that they haven't received the car noc and form 35 so far at their end, and the same has been misplaced at the branch, due to which the same needs to be provided again. Luckily, we had the scan copies (As attached) of both the documents, which we sent to miss pooja over the email, upon which it was told to us that she would get the documents verified by her senior and then within a week, the remaining amount will be credited to our account.

        Now, in between when we didn't heard back from anyone at cars24, we called miss pooja, and asked her for the status and she asked us to call her supervisor mr prakash daundhiyal and speak to him regarding the next steps. So, we called mr prakash, and again explained him the entire situation, upon which he said that he will look into the matter and will get back to us with a resolution. But, he never called us back and it was us who called him last week to understand about the next steps, wherein he also mentioned that we would have to get the noc in the name of my brother-in-law, and only then this case could be moved forward and there's no other option. When we requested him to cancel this deal and return our car because we don't want to move ahead as there's no resolution which cars24 team is able to provide us with, and there's no support which we are getting from anyone, he said that this is not possible and mentioned that this case will be looked by the legal team and they will get back to us regarding whether the car could be returned or not.

        After again waiting for a week, when we didn't received any call back from cars24 legal team, we called mr prakash again yesterday and he said that the noc will be required to be submitted with the name of my brother-in-law, and he will arrange for a callback with the legal team as well but still there was no call back, no phone calls from anyone at cars24 and we are again at no where, with no resolution and no support.

        It looks to us that we have been fooled around by cars24 team, and we are literally nowhere because we have lost our car and still we haven't received any money. The circumstances under which we decided to sell our car was way beyond we could explain as we are facing some real hardship with our finances and we took a decision to sell off the car at cars24 for quick help and resolution (As they promise on social media and television), and get some immediate help in terms of the money. But, what we have received in return so far from cars24 is simply humiliation, un-supportive behavior of the staff, our car being taken away in just rs 1000, along with mental, physical and financial harassment.

        With all this mess already on our nerves, we have been very patient and humble with cars24 team so far, but the limit of our patience has crossed it's limits. Neither myself, or my brother-in-law nor anyone in my family is ready to accept any apology from cars24 and we want to escalate this matter to yourself along with any other highest authority of cars24, with the hope of getting a resolution because we now literally feel that cars24 team is not aware of the processes, the system, how to deal with customers, how to tackle difficult situations, how to manage things when out of control, and they are not educated enough to run the business.

        So, with this hope that the agony and pain we have been through with, while dealing with cars24, gets understood by someone and with some expectations to have a resolution to this matter before this month end, we would like to raise this concern. We simply want this matter to be resolved and our money to be deposited in our account, or else we want our car back with all the financial loss we have suffered so far without our car and the harassment we have been suffering from. If neither of the options could be worked out then ultimately we would have to approach to all possible sources, in terms of consumer forum, social media, newspaper, etc, along with filing a legal case against cars24 and we would sue the company for playing around with our emotions, our health, our mental piece, and without any consideration for simply taking things for granted.

        If cars24 team would have communicated this fact to us at the very first day that they cannot proceed ahead with this case or they will accept the case only when the noc and car ownership could be on the same name, then we wouldn't have suffered this much pain and loss we have been bearing until now. And that too, when we have been requesting to cancel the deal and returning our car, what we have been told is that, the car could not be returned. This is simply unprofessional, worst and pathetic experience of our lives, and we as a family would condemn this inhuman behavior of cars24 and would bring this to everyone else's notice so that no one suffers this kind of trouble again while dealing with you guys.

        Thanks for your earlier prompt action on our case, and I appreciate that you guys took out time to understand our concern, after intervention of Mr Chopra.

        However, I have again raise the concern to Mr Chopra, and would like to mention that, Cars24 team is really unprofessional and they are not at all qualified enough to handle or manage Cars24 business, and I'm repeatedly saying this so that you guys should take this very seriously in order to avoid any hassles in the coming near future.

        This time, we are really concerned and have no options left to further escalate this issue to yourself or to file a legal case against Cars24, because your team has been repeatedly doing misrepresentation of facts and communicating incorrect statements to us, since I've raised this issue to yourself.

        After my previous mail to yourself, I received a call from Mr Prakash Daundhiyal (Mobile: +91-[protected]), mentioning that our case has been proceeded ahead for payments, and we'll get the amount within next 2-3 days. So, we agreed for the same and we kept waiting for the payments. This conversation is of 22/04 or 23/04.

        After waiting until Friday (26/04), when we didn't received any update, we called Mr Prakash again for an update, wherein he mentioned that the payment is currently being processed and we'll get the amount of Rs 25000 by Saturday (27/04) or latest by this Monday (i.e. yesterday). The remaining payment of Rs 10000, i.e. party peshi, will be processed after successful transfer of RC. But, again today is Tuesday and we haven't received any update regarding the funds.

        We've been calling Mr Prakash, to understand the status and to check why the payment is still being delayed, if the same had been processed on last Friday, but to my surprise, Mr Prakash isn't answering to any of our calls since yesterday. Today, when I called her junior, Ms Pooja (Mb: +91-[protected]), who earlier looked into the case and referred us to Mr Prakash, she said that Mr Prakash isn't available at the moment, and she will let him know to speak to us. When I asked her to make us speak to Mr Prakash's senior, then she said that she would have to look into it, and the call got disconnected. When we tried calling her back multiple times, she didn't answered to any of our calls.

        My wife raised a complaint yesterday to the customer service as well regarding this whole incident, and to get an update upon funds, but there was no update that was provided to us, and simply a ticket got raised, and we were told that someone would get back to us with an update. Till now, we haven't heard back from anyone and there is still no update on the funds. So, overall we are again back to square one, from where we actually started this whole drama.

        We are literally unable to understand, that why are we being fooled around everytime and misrepresentation of facts are being done. This is seriously inhuman and mental harassment which is being done to us, because as a customer, we have been very patient and followed each and every process, that was laid down in front o[censored]s. But, in return what we received was incorrect statements, misrepresentation of facts, mental and physical harassment, financial loss, loss of our car, inhuman behavior, and no one available to understand our concern and solve the issue on priority.

        We are seriously very upset with all this behavior of Cars24, and we are not going to listen to anyone regarding any further updates or statements. I said in my original complaint as well that we need a resolution by the end of this month, or else we would have to file a legal case against Cars24, in order to get justice to our situation, agony and pain. Today is the last day of month, and we would request you guys to either get us an update upon the funds or else we would have to take it to court for legal resolution.

          I am common person who is diploma engineer of automobile mechanical and salaried employee. My name is rakesh raul living in mumbai city since 27 years...

          Last week i received call from cars24 person mr. Dubey he told me all the details abt cars24 auction and he approached me for new business which is cars buying and selling and i did big mistake that i processed..

          I win one vehicle in auction (App id: [protected]) which is swift vxi petrol 2006 model of cost of rs:69, 000. This is very small cost for cars24..

          And now i found in car there is half of chasis no is erased due to rusting so i can't sale this vehicle to anybody (Reason: rto not allow to change ownership & can't punch new insurance) or i can't use for myself too. I requsted to cars24 peoples to take back this vehicle so they blackmaling me and saying if you are canceling this vehicle the we will charge you rs.10, 000 and taking more rs.5000 for deposit for rcs refundable when vehicle transfer is done..

          Requesting to cars24 team kindly look into the matter and take back this vehicle which useless for me

            deal cancellation

            I visited cars24 yesterday where I was offered a price of 168000/- for my car, I got the best offer from other dealer giving 190000/- now I want to cancel my deal but they are asking for 5000/- as a penalty charge.

            Why should I pay this give me the best price I will go with the deal.

            Also the behaviour of the branch person was pathetic, worst services cars24....

            Issue is. After all inspection done by khushager nd driving my car and stand in the parking, I was shocked, seen my vechile from bac side door (deggee) was fully damage at the of park. And Mr. Khushager accept of damage..coming times 11:15am nd no reply till 3.20pm. From any budy. Mr. Lalit not cooprate, always asking baat ho rahi hai...I'm fool. Hole day waste..very poor services..Mr. akshay cooprate with me but not reply done from there side..

                  On 09-Oct-2016, I sold my A-Star with registration number [removed] to Cars24.com.
                  Till today the trasnfer of ownership is not done.

                  I have sent emails and got response that NOC is issued BUT transfer is not done.

                  As per the Supreme Court order, updating the records (RC) is mandatory after a vehicle sale.

                  Request Cars24.com to look into this matter on priority and transfer the car ownership from my name. This is creating significant mental trouble to me.

                  @Cars24.com, I have shared the complaint here since as a customer I no longer feel safe that the car I sold remains in my name for the last 2.5 years. Please dont reply with standard copy paste contents.
                  Please take action on below points.
                  1. Since its been 2.5 years I sold the car to cars24.com, If Cars24.com cannot find a buyer in another 1 month, please register the car with cars24.com itself.
                  2. Communicate the progress of RC transfer on periodic intervals.
                  3. As a customer, this has created significant mental trouble for me. So please adhere to above 2 points.

                      He had deducted charges from the deal of 3000 rs for rc transfer as a fee and deducted it from the car final sale payment along with and 1000 rs for doing rtgs payment transfer.

                      I had provided them all original documents and signed all paper work as asked by them in their office and closed the deal.

                      Now just a few days ago, some unknown person had called me and asked me to give me my photo id to him 30 march 2019.


                      I had called the branch manager many times since then but no response (Manager mr. Ajay srivastav), if no further action are taken i have to launch a legal complain.

                        Its going to be around 15 days now but unfortunetelly till yeh i haven't got any resolution yet.

                        I booking this car maruti suzuki dzire from cars24 and after 1 day i told my sales rep sartaaj and da sagar that your inspection is incorrect.

                        Acc to cars24 reports, tyres are normal but in the pictures its showing these are chinese which doesn't worth for me.

                        From last 15 days everyone is saying to make the payment then we will help you out and also visited to grievance office (Moti nagar) and met ritu as she promised me she will help me out but not.

                        Even from last 2 days, i am calling your customer care number but till yet no resolution provided from them

                        Just wanted to know, as inspection is already mismatch, then why dealer have to make the payment.

                        Please look into this and do the needful.

                        Best part is i mailed cars24 on 27th march 2019 but till yet they havent reply on mail.

                          Few days back I received a sms having some chalan related to this car than I checked on Vhan site and surprised to know that still its registered with my name only.

                          Immediately, I call your call centre no and open the ticket (Ticket no: 90357) for the same and spoken with Mr. Prashant.

                          He confirmed that He will revert back to me after checking with operations team latest by Monday (01.04.2019) and also share the RC of the person to whom this car were sold.

                          But I am very upset till date I have not received any call for the same.

                          Dear cars24.com, kindly resolve my issue otherwise, I have to take legal action for the same.

                            Yesterday i have received a call from your representative .
                            Acc. to him RC is not transferred yet because of some documents form seller is not recieved yet, very shoking & why because of seller is not responding.
                            Sir is it the way of your dealing, you are waiting for seller response form last 66 days without making no extra efforts & you have their home adress also.
                            And whenever i call to your dealing person he said that the process is going on, the same word i listen on every follow up.
                            Dear harman g your response gave me some hope but please solve the matter. please do not make me to hate myself why i deal with cars 24.

                            Cars24 is the biggest fraud company .
                            Ye wo company hai janha sale lodu bharti kiye hai. Salo ne gaadi bech di phle khte k seller ki ek kisht bachi hai hmne uska paisa rok liya hai or ab jab itne time baad bhi rc transfer nahi hui to lodu khte hai k car ki 60000 kisht bachi hai or seller co-operate nahi kr rha hai isliye rc transfer nhi ho skti.
                            Bahanchod phle kya so rhe the jab gadi ki add site pe dali thi tb ni maloom tha kya k kitni kisht bachi hai.
                            Sali fraud company . Bhaiyon is company k chakkr me kabhi na pdna sale thug hai isme.

                              I booked a home inspection and got my quote. The cars24 rep called me asked for adhar, pan and cancelled cheque. I told him that the quote is very low. He said that he needs aadhar, pan card, and cancelled cheque to talk to his superiors. Hence, i sent a pic of all there to this number. Next day, he has sent rs. 1000/- and called me and raised some amount from the previous quote. Today, i said the quote is still lower than other places. To cancel my deal, i was asked to pay a penalty of rs. 5000. Why was i not told about the penalty before? Why would you say you need documents to talk to your superior and confirm the deal without consulting me? I'm not ready to pay the penalty. I'm going to the consumer court.

                                  My client company nachi precision tool india private limited having its registered office at 179, sector-4 imt manesar, gurgaon - 122050 had sold honda accord bearing registration no. Hr26aa2830 on 12th dec, 2018. I visited with nachi authorised representative at your branch office at iocl, haryana agro fuel station, anamika enclave, sector 14, gurugram, haryana 122001.

                                  All the documents were signed, formalities were complied and we conveyed to cars24 executive that our company had merged with other company as per the court / nclt order, so the name of our company has been changed, so all the assets and properties which were in older name are in the process of name change, so the moment we will receive r. C. For this car with new name from the rto, we will hand over the same.

                                  In pursuance to this cars24 kept rs. 5, 000/- as security amount till the rc is being handed over. On feb 01, 2019 we received a call from cars24, they said "sir we want some documents to be signed again".

                                  We replied that all the formalities were complied in front of your executive at your office, now why you are asking for the documents to be signed again.

                                  Cars24 requested and we agreed. Thereafter by february end we received rc for honda accord through rto.

                                  In march first week i called mr. Saurabh (Employee cars24) and i told to him that rc has been received. He said you have to visit our branch and submit the same and you will get your remaining amount.

                                  I personally visited cars24 branch office and submited the rc to mr. Woolmer (Employee cars24) and he said that your remaining amount will be transferred within 4-5 days.

                                  After almost one week i called them but the call was not answered neither by saurabh and nor by the other concerned person.

                                  On next day, i again called to saurabh and he said now we cannot transfer, than i replied what are you taking about, i have an written evidence in which you have duly conveyed that submit the rc and get the balance amount of rs. 5, 000/-. He said raise the complain.

                                  This shows the cars24 good corporate governance practice. I raised my complain at customer care, but till now no solution has been provided.

                                  Therefore, you are requested to transfer the balance amount of rs. 5, 000/- urgently.

Moreover these guys not even aware at which place I am residing at times I get call from Delhi, Gujarat Ahmedabad that please visit our showroom.

                                      Car24 people call me daily 4-5 times to sell my car. I recently purchased new car and I don’t want to sell it but they have been calling me since last 2 years. I have blocked more then 1000 numbers but I think they have purchased half of total countries numbers.
                                      Please save my new car I dont wanna sell it
                                      Cars24 are big time spam callers!! They do not have system that understand " do not call me "
