My customer id is 30499576.
I recharge my account on 27 April 2015, the recharge was successful, however no channel was working. I called the customer care asking for help to which they responded that we are refreshing the system it will start in 10 minutes.
Next day we checked still there were no channel available. So we called the customer care again. They replied saying that their might be some device problem so they would send a engineer and that would charge me Rs150.
The engineer arrived the same day. There was no technical problem, only thing the engineer did is call to videocon center and refresh the system.
My complaint is if there was no technical fault then why am I charged with 150 RS visiting charge. The engineer did not even inspect the device. I requested the call center representative that there was no issue on device, kindly check the backend system.
The customer care will forcibly allocate an engineer though its is clear that their is no issue from device and then charge 150 RS. When you call customer to further enquire about it, they will simply hang up. This has happened to me when I called the customer care for further enquire, the representative (Shraddha), was unable to answer my queries and lastly she dropped the call without replying.

Complaint marked as Resolved While signing the recipt, I mentioned that the engineer didnot make any repair work on device.
This prevented the money deduction from my d2h account
Videocon Industries customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
