My family has been a long standing advocate of Eureka Forbes products since early 90s. We have purchased numerous products from your company like Vaccum Cleaners, water filters and recently bought a mini car wash kit.
I had purchased/upgraded to an Aquaguard "Enhance RO + UV" model 3 years back. 3 weeks back I had also renewed our AMC for a further 2 years. The nature of the complaint is as follows...
Although I am absolutely satisfied with the level of purification, I cannot mention the same about the water holding container. We have noticed that frequently small insects like cockroaches, ants etc are floating inside the container. Initially we couldn't fathom the reason. However after repeated cleaning of the container to rid ourselves of these insects, we discovered the ergonomics or the design has a fault which makes the lid loose and allows insects to come through. Thus rendering the filter a complete failure as it is not able to deliver us pure clean, disease free water as promised by Aquaguard brand.
On enquiring with other owners of the same product, I came to know that they had faced similar problems and after lodging a complaint with the local service partner they were provided with a lid which is now airtight. This stopped the problem.
On taking matters with your local service franchisee about a month ago, we are assured that it would be sorted within a couple of days. When this didn't happen, I and other members of our family have called the local service provider at least a dozen times requesting them to solve the matter. Each time they have assured us that it will be solved in two days. However, today they have told us that they cannot solve the problem and that they do not care if I take up the matter with Eureka Forbes directly or file a consumer complaint. I was very shocked with their attitude of not caring for the clients grievance's.
Please note that we have 2 very small children along with 2 very old people for whom clean water is a must. If your company is not able to find a solution to this problem, I would have no other option than to buy a different water filter and Eureka Forbes will loose a client forever. I sincerely hope Eureka Forbes will take this matter seriously enough and solve it at the earliest.
