This is regarding order OD[protected]. I've also opened CUSTOMER CARE incident IN[protected]. Please check that for more context.
Its been a very disappointing and sad experience regarding this particular order. AND now instead of fixing the issues you guys are cancelling the order yourself and making all sorts of false statements. I never cancelled this order, neither did I consent to any cancellation. Why have you cancelled the order?? And also in the cancellation email that I've received, you mention that you made multiple attempts to deliver the product to the given address. This is an OUTRIGHT LIE. (please check the attached screenshot of that email). In fact i contacted your support and got this support case opened, all because you never made any attempt to make the delivery (please read the thread again).
PLEASE UNDERSTAND that the courier guy called us only once and asked my father to travel for 40km to another city (the nearby ekart hub) to pick up the phone. OBVIOUSLY that is ABSURD and UNACCEPTABLE, this is supposed to be home delivery. Rightfully my father denied to do that. If you claim that you'll deliver a product to given address, then for gods sake please abide it. If you can't then please don't claim it in the first place. After that first phone call, the courier guy never called us again, neither did he made any attempt to deliver the product. And if i've to guess he simply sat on the product without delivering it, all because he'd need to travel 40km+ to deliver it. The supposed date for the delivery of the product was 19th June and it did not get delivered till 29th June, and thats when you geniuses decided to cancel the order yourself without even asking me, and if that wasn't enough, you went further blamed it all on me, that the multiple attempts were made for delivery and all of them were unsuccessful. This is disgraceful and outright unprofessional service.
Flipkart needs to get to the root of this issue and understand why did the courier guy not deliver the product. During all this episode, I kept contacting CUSTOMER CARE over phone, in fact I spoke 4 times with your CUSTOMER CARE staff, and none of those 4 calls got me any satisfying answers, all of them kept saying that it'll be delivered in 2 days/wait for 2 days. None of those CUSTOMER CARE people had any clues about the real issue. THIS IS REALLY PATHETIC AND FRUSTRATING, no wonder you guys are losing it out to AMAZON, learn thing or two from them. First step in fixing any sort of problem is to acknowledge and know the problem, and I'm sorry to tell you that you're not doing that.
This has been a very UNPROFESSIONAL, DISAPPOINTING and FRUSTRATING experience for me. I don't even feel like re-ordering the product now. Its very much likely that the same ### courier guy will again resort to the same unprofessional tactics next time as well. I really really hope someone with some authority looks at this email thread, and if not fix the problem, at least tries to understand and acknowledge there was lapses made during delivery, and make sure that the concerned courier guy is held accountable and reprimanded for his actions in some way.
If not any compensation for my troubles, you guys at least owe me an explaination and an assurance that this wouldn't be repeated if i re-order the product.
