Hathway people are calling me twice every day.
My account no. Is [protected].

I have faced many problems with hathway. I have raised complaint before as well.
Finally, i asked hathway to deactivate my account before a week of my data pack expiry (November 2018). They ignored my mail. Now i am using another broadband connection.

They have still not deactivated my account and calling me daily with new offers.

On every call i tell them that i don't want these calls, still they continue calling. They are playing with customers privacy.

When i was a customer, they were not replying to my complaints. Now since i left, they bug me daily.

    I am using hathway broadband since 2yrs now as pathetic as their service is, it was not unbearable. This time it got out of hands though. I had applied for change in plan and requested for the same online as well as on call. I got a call for same and was asked to pay 1847rs for 3 months which i did on 31st jan. Later i was told my plan will be activated within 24 hrs, for which i have called numerous times now that now i think they follow some different timestamp. I have my work pending since 3 days now because i relied on their internet service. Hathway connection is highly unreliable. So now i am asking to either activate the service or for refund and the customer service call magically gets disconnected after i tell them my issue. This happened at least 5-6 times in a row. Obviously they are calling it technical coincidence. But now i do regret using hathway and i will make sure never to recommend it to anyone as it can neither provide a good internet service nor even customer service or anything at all. This service is by far the worst service in all aspects i have ever got for anything. Before you decide to get hathway connection go through all the reviews online unlike me.

    I had to make numerous calls to their customer support number. They told me every time that my plan will be activated by 2pm, 6pm or next day morning or within 24 hrs. And after following up a lot for around a week, finally plan got activated today that is on 6th Feb. I can't say I am really satisfied or happy with their service as I was told 24 hrs and it took a week and customer service representatives didn't know what was the issue or why was it getting delayed but just to keep me quiet kept saying a different time.

      GTPL Rajkot has not transfer my internet service after one month. Actually I have request to transfer my office to home. At my home already have a gtpl connection doesn't require extra service and support of technical department. Even I have call on customer care many time, I have meet them to rajkot and Ahmadabad office explain my problem. But there are saying it will complete today please wait.         On 10th april, 2018 i informed that i would be moving out so kindly come and collect the modem at the earliest. But no one ever connected from your team.

        Every time i contact team they open a new ticket and then no follow up and then it gets closed in less than 24hrs. With no resolution.

        I never got the amount refund from 4th april 2018 till date (Feb'2019)

        Let me know how to close the account and what would be my refund amount.

        Will consider this as final notice and attempt to close the account for any future communication and would use this as legal document if i am charged for your services.

          Not compatible with trai rules
          There is a big difference of rs80 to 100 between the cable tv monthly charges as computed by trai official application and hathway's computation.
          Please note that the freedom to choose other than mandatory channels rests solely with the consumer.
          (A) you may try yourself both the trai compution and the hathway's computation to understand this diff..
          (B) there is no list of all free channels list to choose from in hathway's application. E. G aljazeera, tvs monde, nhk, australia plus, etc
          However, they are separately enlisted in trai's application.
          Hathway must rectify at the earliest to be compliant with trai..

            First of all very poor service from gtpl. I mean pathetic. I will not renew it after its expiry for sure. I had called many times to customer care since past 2 days that my wifi is not working still none of their technician had visited to my premises. They only say that sir your request is under process. Technician might be coming from u. S. A i guess. Poor very poor service. -5 stars to this so called gtpl service.

              It has been about a month and a half i have stopped using the hathway broadband service. I have even submitted the routers and cleared all my dues. Still i receive about 3-4 calls everyday from the billing department to recharge my account. I have spoken to several person and explained them that i have stopped using your service and please stop calling me. I have even sent an email to the helpdesk and zonal person to address my concern but they dont care about this. Even today, i am getting calls from them. Quite annoying...

                All free to air (Fta) channels which are 534 in number at present & some of the bouquets (Like disney universal bouquet, disney kids bouquet) are not available on your website for selection. Hence, i'm unable to finalize the channel selection process as per trai new regulations for digital cable operators.
                I'm - babasaheb maruti bhujbal - a customer of "hathaway cable and data on limited" at pimpri-chinchwad, thergaon area.
                Pl, resolve this issue immediately, so as to finalize the selection process & submit the same online.

                  Internet connectivity frequently disconnection.

                  The worst customer service i ever had is with hathway broadband, if we raise a complaint they will never follow up with us, instead if we call and ask for the resolution they will disconnect the call, if we ask for a supervisor to speak the analyst says that no one is available and they mentioned that they do not have any supervisors to handle. If this is the case then maintaining a broad band is waste of time and i suggest no one to take hathway broadband.

                  The complaint which i have raised on the month of january are 4.

                  1st if in regards the offer they have provided to me that if i pay for 6months extra 2months will be added (Total of 8months), but they gave only 1month extra and when i have raised complaint to hathway customet they have reduced the give 1month to 15days and they closed the case with out my confirmation. I have to raise another case for that.

                  2nd i have frequently network issues, internet will be disconnected frequently and they promise me that it will be resolved by 24 hours and when i call after 24hours they they responded and asked me to wait for more 4hours to resolve, when i have asked for a supervisor to talk they disconnected the call. (Date : 29 jan 2019 i have raised complaint and they disconnected the call multiple times on 30th jan 2019)

                    Unfortunately, I had used a Hathway broadband connection a/c [protected].

                    I got a call from someone claiming to be your legal team asking me to return the modem. I am very happy to return it. Just send someone to collect the modem from my home address.

                    I had already told your customer care long back to come and collect the modem. You were very happy to come and install when I took a new connection. Why do you expect me to come and deposit in your office address?

                    In addition, your "legal" team was using threatening language and tone. I don't care for it. This is just simple harassment. If I continue to receive such calls, I will file a police complaint stating harassment.

                      Dear hathway,

                      Thanks for the fooling experience with you, the response & support at the day joining as a hathway's customer was amazing, you guys provided a lot of info about the service. I choose rs.999 plan (1000 gbpm/ 100mbps) + security deposit rs.400 + subscription charge 180 in total rs.1580 was my initial payment on november 2017. On the day of installation and before the conversation you mentioned boldly that the security deposit amount is fully refundable at the day of cancelation.

                      Three months back i moved out of the city because of my new job, so i planned to keep the same network provider "hathway" in my home, i have reached you and you said that "our service is not available in your area". So i planned to quit my subscription, i paid all my pending post month chargers and gave a cancelation request. I did and i got a call from the tech support saying "hi sir, please return your router and we will send you the security deposit amount rs.400 through check or direct money transfer". I said "ok, and i gave my current residence address on december 23rd.â 

                      On the day, one guy (Engineer) from hathway came and collected the internet router. He gave a receipt which mentioned that the router is collected from me on the same date. I have read everything on the bill and i did my signature on it. I again asked him about the security deposit, he said: "yes sir, you will get a call from our billing team, they will assist you."

                      I have been waiting for one week for the call from the billing team as said by the engineer. I have not received any message or call or mail regarding my cancelation request and about the refund. So tried calling them, one day i spoke with the support guy about my problem. Here the conversation:â 

                      â the support guy said "refund is not possible for you sir, because we do refund only the customers who used the hathway for three years" omg what is he sayingâ !!!â 

                      I replied, "you have not mentioned this on the day of installation and the day of cancelation after the box was collected, you saying that the refund is not possible, why??!!"â 

                      She said "yes sir, you have signed in the crf form when you joined as a customer, which is clearly mentioned the term about the refund"

                      I replied, "no way, i'm clear that i have signed only on the bill copy (Attached below) and why nobody mentioned this before??"â 

                      She said, " ok sir, sorry for the inconvenience, we can't help you on this so please send your query to [protected]@hathway.net, sure they will help you."

                      That's how it ends. I keep on mailing them but no response. I again tried customer support and they again saying the same #!!!. I'm sure i have not signed in that from, please prove me wrong by sending my signed copy of that crf form to [protected]@gmail.com

                      I'm sure you guys fools lot's of customers with the fake words, and you reveals your real face at the end. You must provide my security deposit amount or prove me wrong, show me the signed copy of that, i think you guys did my signature by your own on that form, if that is true i 'll take actions legally. Why you not mentioning the security deposit terms at the beginning or mid or at the end. Don't fool customers by the fake words.â 

                      I need a refund or send me a copy of the crf form. I never ever recommend your service. ("please don't use hathway" is going to be my status of all my social media - - attached bills, acknowledgments, audio's.).

                        1. We are using your hathway internet connection past one month, i have already recharged rs 1061 on 18 january 19. But still the internet is not working.

                        2. I already complained this issue through customer care on 28 january 19 at 1145am and he told to me that it's a technical faulty (Fiber optical cable damage) and we send a rep for repairing the same. But no one has to come. Again i made a call to customer care and they told they will send a rep before 3.30 for repair on 28 january 19. But no one has come.

                        3. I again made a call on 29 january 19 at 9.15 am for the same issue and they told they will send a rep before 11am for rectify the issue. Inspite of several complaints/verbal request, no one has come and attend the problem so far.

                        4. You are requested to take an immediate action, so as to maintain the customer satisfaction. This complaint please be treated as seriously...

                          I got call from a hathway broadband representative and i was in need of a broadband i agreed on the terms that i will first check for two days the internet speed and then only i i'll put up their connection (As when i previously used hathway it was pathetic). The representative agreed and sent some people i gave them postdated check for tuesday. They put the wire and collected the cheque on sunday and assured that the modem too will be put on sunday. But i dint get it on sunday neither on monday. When i called the guy he said u cannot get the router as it was a sunday and bla bla now i don't get to check the connectivity also forced to take up the connection. Unprofessional behaviour of mr shahrukh shaikh.

                          Moreover they got us the router/modem after 3 days that too an outdated one and when I asked them they said the didn't have any other free new routers so u have take this I asked them I want my refund and I don't want the connect they said ok but I will get my money only after 45days why so they took my cheque immediately but the service is pathetic

                          I am using internet with MODEM to connect my Laptop. Now I want Internet with WIFI facilities. In view of this my requirement isModem with WIFI ( twin in one ). My account No is [protected], Name : ASHOK DEO GUPTA.

                            I have paid 2300 rs for three months internet service but accidentally the money have been sent twice so i mailed hathway at helpdesk and billingpune for more than six times now they dont even mind to reply me with simple message that your query have registered or so...i have called the hathway customer care four times now on first three occasions they told me money will get refunded in fifteen days and on fourth day they told me it will take 45 days after enough argument they told me thay your plan is activated for six months and we cant do anything .. firstly i dont want 6 months service and they dont even have any receipt for that how am i supposed to believe that. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed with hathway even there customer service agents are worthless.

                              I had hathway bb connection. I asked for the disconnection long time back. Still they are not closing the connection. I am getting bill from them. I have asked them several times. But they are not replying at all. Below are the details. I have even paid one month despite not using. I even have email asking them to close the connection. They are not replying at all.

                              It is been more than one day. Still i have not heard anything from you. What is your SLA?
                              Cheaters. They first ask for advance booking amount. Then they didn't came for installation. My call is never been picked. No idea how to get my money back.

                                Hathaway are spammers inspite of informing them to mark my number in dnd i have reaceived around 50 calls yesterday.

                                Hathaway caller do not transfer calls to seniors they're purely trouble makers.

                                I had their account but due to poor service and change of address closed the account. Got multiple calls for feedback which i gave. But they calling ever since, theirs no way to stop them. The number is transferred to every possible employee in call center. Every time new person is calling for same repeat questions.

                                  I was a customer of hathway broadband with account number [protected]. I changed residence and asked them to relocate. They did not relocate saying they do not have service at that place. They are asking to return the modem and say that the deposit amount will not be returned. I am ok to return the modem but they have to return the deposit amount. How any company can cheat customers like this. How do you handle such cheats.

                                    I have a Hathway user for nearly 6 months . I used to receive calls from Hathway regarding the offers. In 3 rd week of January i received a call from a agent briefing about the cctv offer . I was asked to pay 3 months bill to activate the offer. For which i had made the payment . The person told me to do the payment and i completed the payment. Hathway agent i will be getting a cctv camera i had enquired about the installation of the camera and stuffs to which i was told it will be done by hathway.the conversation was over and i had agreed to the offer
                                    Today(25-jan-19)i reveiced from a delivery person he is telling me that he will only delivery the product and i have to enquire customer care for installation . when enquired to customer care they are telling me it will not be done by hathway. if installation is not done by hathway i would have not taken that offer, Why was the communication given to me it will be done by them?and incase i attempt to install and something happens to the camera.hathway will ask me to pay 3000 for the same.
                                    One more information which i got it today from customer care is i would not be able to save the recordings if i need to do it i need to buy some additional stuffs from market. WHY IS HATHWAY CALLING IT AS A CCTV IT IS JUST A SCANNING CAMERA.WHY IS INFORMATION BEING WRONGLY CONVEYED .
                                    ARE EMPLOYEES NOT AWARE OF ALL THESE
                                    WHEN ENQUIRED CUSTOMER CARE THEY ALSO DONT HAVE ANSWER ONLY ANSWER I AM GETTING IS "SORRY".WHEN ASKED TO CONNECT TO HIGHER OFFICIALS THEY DONT DO IT AND CUT MY CALL ABRUPTLY

                                      We have been using GTPL Cable operator services since long time. Multiple times it happened that their cable operator took money in advance o[censored]pcoming month and still ours channels got shut down for multiple days. Currently we have paid 250 rs. Fo this January month in advance and since Last 2-3 days ours channels had been shut down. On calling to customer care, Supervisor person Manoj Rav told that he cannot start ours channels from customer care and told that we had to contact local cable operator for ours problem. Local cable operator Jaydipsigh : [protected] had made his phone switched off since multiple days. We have been stuck with off tv despite we have paid advance payment. Last year same incident happened, that cable operator had been underground for few months and we have suffered a lot.
                                      Hathway / Gujarat Telelink [GTPL] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                        Hi,

                                        Day - 1

                                        I have requested for new broadband connection of 50 mbps speed - rs.349 monthly plan, however after activation, im surprized to see that they have activated rs.399 plan, instead of rs.349.

                                        Also, when i connected this internet to my smart tv, video buffering is not at all happening, which is not allowing to watch any videos with this 50 mbps speed.

                                        After cable installation, for activating and modem setting, they will do remotely and finishing the activation request and not listening what we're saying.

                                        I'm very much disappointed at the service they're providing.

                                        I request to correct the plan and send the technical person to home, to fix the video buffering issue immediately.
