Myself Subhajit Das, an HDFC credit card holder. My credit card details and last month statement are attached herewith. My issue is mentioned above.
2. I talked to a lady at HDFC bank customer care Eastern division having no.[protected] on 07/12/2017 and requested to pre-close my loans (5 nos. of loans) at a single time. The lady then told me to pay Rs. 44, 731.12/- and I agreed to this and paid the amount. The lady then assured me to pre-close the loan within 5 days and this will also reflect in my credit card statement.
3. On 28/12/2017, I saw that my credit card bill is in negative and surprisingly I found that only one loan is pre-closed. The other 4 loans are intact and still remaining. Then I called the customer care executive and asked them to change the statement as per my request, as I don't want to pay extra amount for their 'silly' mistakes. The lady there transferred the call to Mr. Aniruddha Ghosh, Dy. Manager, Kolkata. This person firmly said that, he can only take action on that girl for her mistake, but he can do nothing but just scratching his ****. I requested him to clear out the doubt so that I do not had to pay the amount. This person fearlessly said that he can do nothing, and if I want to complain to HDFC bank, I can, he doesn't care. I don't know how a person who handles customer in such a 'don't care' manner. I like to draw the kind attention of HDFC bank to look into this matter and resolve it asap.
