I recently applied for hdfc credit card. It was a lifetime free credit card. They send a link in which we have to confirm the details and submit the for. What they do is, they send the link and call within 10 seconds of sending the link. Upon calling up they say 'please open the link, go to bottom of the page down and press confirm '. They don't let you read the information. But there a option to 'would you like to apply for oneassist membership' which is already set as 'yes', you have to select 'no' to save yourself from getting large sum deducted in the name of this false membership. I have cancelled my credit card. And would never take a credit card from this fraud bank which practices such filthy and cheap tricks. I would suggest others to keep an eye while applying for the same.

    I am dinesh reddy with loan account no 32579563 of hdfc bank i have a personal loan of 150000 which i am paying without fail on every month of 4th as every month i have deposited 5200 for loan amount on 3rd of september which should be deducted on 4th of september which did not happen at the same time 5200 was deducted and my account went into -6700 which is total amount of 11850 in a single month and even after that my loan amount shows as unpaid. When i tried to contact branch manager there was no proper response from assistant manager and she wouldn't let me meet general manager. I have no proper information which wasn't provided by bank that holding a salary account need to be closed once we stop working for a firm. Neither bank nor officials failed to provide me this information at the same time how can a bank cut all the fines at single time which is what bank officials said this sounds totally nonsense and my loan amount remaind uncleared

      unauthorized credit card charges and unethical behavior

      Myself kavita sharma having hdfc credit card no 54xx-648x-xxxx-3927, i called on 18/06/2017 at customer care to block my card executive say your pending bill is rs: 39999.59, which we have to on 08/06/2017.
      He say, to block the card, we have to pay amount rs: 40, 826/-.
      I immediate deposit entire amount on 18/06/2017.
      After three month, i again contact to customer care to check whether card is blocked or not, than executive...

        I applied for fastag from hdfc on 3rd of november. The process required me to download the form, sign it and upload kyc documents along with it. I completed all the formalities on the same day. However, today is 21st november and i have not heard or received any mail from hdfc regarding my fastag. It appears that i have been swindled with my 300 rupees. Nobody picks up the customer care number. I'm now left with no option but to re-apply for fastag. However, it would be good to know as to what happened to my 300 rs and if i will ever get my tag. My application number is hfr008455.

        One day after posting on this forum, I received three messages from HDFC stating that I have been assigned Fastag, 100 RS is credited to the account and lastly, that account has been activated. After 7 days i.e today, I received Fastag through DTDC courier.

        I after posting this complaint I got three messages from HDFC bank stating that Fastag has been issued with customer ID. Post that I got a message stating that my account is recharged with 100 Rs and lastly a message stating that my account is now activated. I received these messages on 22nd November, post that nothing. I have no clue what is next? Will I be receiving Fastag through courier package or I have to go to a branch to collect it etc? Please help.

          I have opened hdfc account in my first organization and as i changed the company, hdfc started charging money for non maintaince of minimum account balance. I put 4000rs. And it got deducted. Now, still it is showing i have to pay 7000. Its pathetic. Now, i can not even close my account without paying this fine. I am frustructed because of hdfc bank service. Please help.

            I have applied for account closure of my savings bank account. But the bank is delaying the process of account closure. Due to the delay caused by bank i am being charged the charges of amb of 1400 i. E. 700 per month. The reason they have not closed my account is there is a tpp linked to my account. The bank persons asked me to contact the customer care to delink the tpp but the customer care asked to contact hdfclife. When i called hdfclife they told they need a policy number in the first place to proceed with any kind of processing. I do not have a policy number because i do not have any policy with the hdfclife. So they asked me to contact the bank. Now i am stuck in a viscious circle where not a single person in the whole of hdfc organisation knows how to close a simple sb account.

              I regularly shop international online stores and have to pay in usd. Generally i buy from ali express through icici bank debit card. Once i buy from hdfc bank debit card and they charge me 3% mark up charges.
              Any bank is not charging then why hdfc, is the bank from mars planet?
              When i opened the hdfc account it was said to me it will be life time zero balance and then in 2 years they change their policy and said me no more zero balance account.
              I was told to hold 25000 for 3 months in hdfc to make zero balance account valid. I did it then also they fool me like this.

There is a currency conversion markup of 3.5 % on foreign currency transactions carried out on debit cards as Transaction amount + 3.5% Foreign Currency markup + Difference in foreign currency Rate( Its the difference in foreign currency rate on date of transaction and on the date of settlement {Receipt of claim from acquiring bank}). Charges are applicable for ATM withdrawals and also for POS transaction. The exchange rate used will be the Visa/MasterCard wholesale exchange rate prevailing at the time of transaction.                 Hi,

                My name is anand kumar. I had a salary account in hdfc bank but when i left my earlier job, after sometime it got converted into saving account. I then needed to maintain minimum balance of rs 10000. They started charging me for not maintaining that minimum balance in-spite ii was not using it. But as far i know, according to rbi regulation bank cannot deduct from a dormat bank account. Now i am bind to open account in hdfc bank as per requirement of the new company i am working in.
                Please help me checking this wrong practice this bank is carrying out.

                  Iam holding the dmat account with hdfc bank opened in 2015 and inoperative since 1 year but deducting the annual charges, i requested them to close the account on 08nov2016 but replied that mail has to be sent from the registered mail id, i am requesting the same through registered mail id only but they are not accepting my request with the same reason. Recently i contacted the dp operation team in hyderabad and realized that "at the time of account opening they wrongly updated my mail id and requested them to change the same on immediate basis after regular followup done the same.

                  Once again i initiated the account closure to the dp team but they said due amount has to be paid to close the account.

                  My question is" wrong mail updation was done at bank end and additionally charges levied and i have been following up the same since one year".

                  Please look into this matter on priority, please close the dmat account and waive off the charges levied on account.

                    My name is mohammed akber. I have taken a personal loan from hdfc bank the loan amount is 2 lakhs rupees. And i pay monthly emi to repay my loan i pay 5865 monthly emi and if i fail to make the payment on time, i pay the emi amount with the late fee charges. And if i fail to pay the emi amount i get a lot of calls from bank employees or bank employess will come at my home. My parents will attend all the calls which i get from hdfc bank regarding the late payment or whoever comes at my home from the bank my parents do attend them. Inspite of attending all the calls from hdfc employees or attending the persons who come at my home, these hdfc bank employees calling to my friends as i gave the surety of my friends and harassing them a lot and trying to defame me and my family. When my parents and i attending all the calls from hdfc bank answering to their queries. I still dont know why they are harassing my friends and trying to defame me. I seriously need a help regarding this because my family members are suffering a lot from theses guys. I hope you will help me out.

                      The above transaction failed and i didnt even get a customer copy and i had to pay cash... I want to dispute the above transaction.. Since i have already paid.

                      For which i get a amazing answer asking for a void slip from hdfc customer care officer mr. Nethaji sabapathi
                      I guess i have clearly told that i did not get any slip, not even customer copy

                        Following the advice from mr. Karthickraja, financial advisor, at hdfc bank branch k. K. Nagar, chennai, i invested some money in sovereign gold bonds,
                        A life insurance policy, and a few mutual funds more than an year back. Following his advice again, i opened a demat account with hdfc securities
                        And made more investments. I have been requesting him to get the initial
                        Investments to dematerialise. For the last few months, he has made me run from pillar to post. I have submitted request letters, copies of my pan card, and other supporting documents more than once. Each time he comes up with an excuse saying that the documents are lost, or misplaced, or he forgot to get my signature at one place, or there is a signature mismatch. Till now he has been holding on to the funds/bond/policies in physical form
                        Along with all my papers and has repeatedly failed to dematerialise the
                        Investments. Please help.

                          I am really shocked about the services of hdfc credit card. I am using the card since last year but recently i am facing some bad impression.
                          Initial my limit was 30000.
                          Everymonth before due date i am paying good with extra amount. But previous month thay have reduced my credit card limit 30k24k... How can be possible...?
                          And after that they are taking a lot of charges absurdly contious.
                          I request them a lot of times but did not get any satisfied reply from them.
                          So i request consumer care team to do needful for me and please take a strong step against the hdfc credit card team.

                              I hdfc bank,

                              I am using your service since 3 years having account number [protected]. But yesterday, my money 104.64 rs got deducted from my account showing as 3rd party cash txn including gst.. What is this man?? Why did you deducted from my account. Are you peoples making fool to customers...??
                              Kindly refund my hard earned money back to my account.. Else i will be closing this account, and will move to some other bank... Why this nonsense type of work you people doing to fool the customers.. I would never suggest any one to use your service any more, in case my money not refunded...

                                I am customer of hdfc since more than 10 years and following are my details.

                                I had applied for a personal loan around 3 days back and provided all the required documents. However it looks my loan application has not been initiated yet since i haven't received any sms which we normally get as an update.

                                Also when trying to contact with loa processing officer, there seem to ignore the calls and not picking up after seeing the number.

                                I smell something fishy and wanted to make sure that my documents are not misused.

                                Also if the delay is deliberate, i am sorry to say that the service has deteriorated over a period and this is my worst experience with any private bank executives.

                                Request you to look into this and let me know the true status so that i can process my loan through some other bank.

                                Thanks for the reply.

                                I received call from the executive in morning that the loan will be disbursed today. Apparently the same executive gives a call in evening and tries to bluff regarding verification was not done since security did not provide any info.

                                The verification person was having complete address and could have made an entry in register at security desk and he would have allowed. I checked with security as well, nobody came.
                                Also she was saying verification executive was not allowed in office; he was having my mobile number so could have call me. or if he wanted to verify he could have called on office landline.

                                Also my salary account is with hdfc and it has monthly salary credit from my current company. It is a common sense that nobody will credit salary unless I he/she is an employee.

                                If the bank executives themselves are not honest and try to bluff I am sorry to this whole episode of loan processing had shattered the trust on bank which was built over period and when I shared the incident to my colleagues as well even they would think many time before engaging in such transactions with HDFC atleast.

                                When tried to call, nobody picks up (may be my number is saved).
                                Pathetic service and even worse customer orientation.

                                Please help to get back my documents since I have made my mind to take the loan from some other institution.

                                  My name is debanga tamuli i have resigned from hdfc bank as sales officer (176135) on 25september 2017 and worked to 23 october 2017 on notice period but i didnot recieved the settlement money of notice period till date. I have worked one month as my duty without salary but i drrecrrecieved the settlement money. I need money due to my personal needs. So i request the hdfc bank to give me the salary of the notice period i have worked.

                                      I wish to bring to your attention that rs 4893.26 is showing due on my account ending with 6946.
                                      It came to my notice when i received amount due message for that account.
                                      There was no communication from the bank regarding any lapse of services or payment due on the card.
                                      We were not given any notification about the lapse of service or amount due in the cards either via email or via sms.
                                      I request you to look in the matter as early as possible and refund the money to me.

                                      We have been preferred customers of hdfc for a long time and i do not wish that this event should hamper that relationship.

                                      Please look into the same and revert back with possible solution or else we will have to take some action regarding the same.

                                      Let me know if any more information is required for any further clarification of the event.
