Debited surcharge on fuel because amount was below 400

Hi,

I have hdfc platinum debit card which i am using for last 1 years and i found from january-2017 hdfc bank is charging surcharge on petrol which was not reverted back to my account. When i checked with hdfc bank person (Hdfc old madras road branch, bangalore) he mentioned for hdfc platinum card below 400 inr transaction on petrol pump they dont revert back the fuel surcharge.

An employee of the agency that collects credit card bills does not have the etiquette to speak with a client. Today he called me for bill payment of 9100/- with an abusive manner. He calls my alternate mobile number which is with my wife many times and is harresing her and when i asked about it he started using abusive language. Kindly take note of this complaint and do take necessary action against the employee and agency. Thank you.

    Dear sir/madam,

    I think it's time for hdfc to change it's abbreviation to - harassing deceiving fooling customers (Hdfc). I do not know what hdfc people are up to? I have been chasing you guys for my money which you guys have robbed in the name of amb+mutual fund service. I have never been informed from when and why you people have started charging my account for the said terms. I have been informed from one of your official mr. Arun that i have been charged for an amount of rs.1400 for mutual fund service. Now, can somebody explain to me when and with whose permission this forced service has been activated on my account. Why you people activate such services on you wish & charge customers whenever you want to. For your kind information, i have never requested for such stupid service even i had logged a complain a way back in august, 2013 regarding "demat and hdfc securities account" these services were too activated on hdfc's wish and after much of harassment i was assured from the hdfc end that these services were closed and in that confirmation email your bank officials had also confirmed that "there is no mutual fund account link to my account" then now how come this account has got activated & got charged for rs.1400. Complete correspondence of the mentioned complained has been attached below.

    If you guys really believe in a fair business then please stop this embezzlement and reverse the amount you have charged from my account amounting to a total of rs.4, 172 (Amb - rs.2, 772 + mutual fund - rs.1400).

      Hi i have issued a credit card on jan 2016 with the limit of 60, 000 and my card was suspended/ blocked on sep 2016 completely due to unavoidable payments and i mailed twice or thrice to the bank regarding my transactions but customer service team was not able to get any transaction until now as my card was suspended/ closed completely, i did not pay the amount regularly and the interest they charged me is 34, 600/- i don't know how much interest was and how it was calculated, as my company was closed and i am jobless, i am unable to pay at a time even i told to the customer care team and even i mailed to bank also i need some time to repay the money but they did not responded properly and the hdfc bank collection people calling me and my wife (I don't know how they got her number) harassing me like any thing even i payed 20, 000/- in feb 2017 & 40, 000 in may 2017, they are torturing me more by sending the collection executive to my house even i am not there in my home and one of the customer care girl called to my wife and harassing her also to pay the remaining money, i asked them time but they are not responding and until now they did not send any statements to my email.

        I got my salary account opened by my first company in hdfc bank, but after switching to a new company they had opened another account for me. However my salary account in hdfc bank is been converted into saving account initially they deducted few bucks from my account as a penalty and now it's in negative. According to new rbi guidelines banks are not supposed to penalise where as hdfc bank is saying that it does not allow the balance in a savings account to go negative due to imposition of charges for non-maintenance of minimum balance (http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/business/india-business/No-negative-balances... but still i am amazed how they are charging me as if i am not at all using there services. Can you please suggest me what should i do. Can it be waived or i will have to pay all these amount..

            All money we are earning is through hard work, hdfc bank has unnessarily deducted rs925 from my account and they are unable to answer reason for deduction.

            For every payment they are sending confirmation SMS, but for unnrccsary deduction they have deducted without information.

            This bank is doing cheating with people, request government to take strict action

                This is with reference to our current bank account under name of smartway energy networking pvt. Ltd. With hdfc's andheri west branch. Over months; the bank does not respond to customer requests leading to business losses.in this case; despite repeated reminders and follow up calls; the bank simply refuses to acknowledge client needs and despite written commitments; continually harrases the client. We requested activation of netbanking weeks ago and for some reason or the other; bank refuses to comply and respond to our requests.

                        I as a customer of hdfc bank have never applied for a credit card. An hdfc staff at vishrantwadi branch (Pune) has taken my details inspite of my refusal. I informed the staff that i had no interest in any credit card offers and i had some personal obligations for which i was getting late. Inspite of all this your staff has forwarded an application on my behalf and also wasted my time because of which i couldnt reach for my business on time. I strongly consider this sort of forceful imposing of services to a customer who does not require it as unprofessional and annoying. I did not react to this unprofessional behaviour right then because the staff who did all this was a lady and i did not want to embarass her in front of other customers. I understand how important target achievements are in a service providing industry as i also belong to the civil aviation industry but your target achievements should not be at the cost of inconveniences to your customers.
                        I request you to kindly look into this matter, carry forward the procedures required for the cancellation of my credit card on your own as i was nowhere involved in the application for the service also. I personally suggest you as a customer to kindly forward a circular to your staff to avoid compelling customers and forcefully taking their informations and applying for services which they not desire to be served with. If one customer did not react to such a behaviour respecting the gender of your staff, it may not be considered by other customers also. So to maintain the existing reputation of your bank in market and also for customers to feel comfortable approaching your branches, kindly improve the professional behaviour of your staff.

                                  I have just opted for a hdfc credit card and without any activation or opting for the one assist services, a fee of 1299 was deducted from my credit card ending 6455 on 30/5/2017 and 2/6/17 received a message saying the amount will be deducted in 3 emi with 1.5% roi.. So i would like to deactivate the services as i am in no need of it.. Membership id 2158207.

                                  The refund will be processed in bank/card account from which the amount has been debited. It takes 7 to 8 working days for the refund to reflect in your bank/card account.
