I am deepa keswani from indore. I have purchased hdfc super income plan with the policy numbered 21170298 for an annual premium of rs 50, 000/- with premium paying period of 8 years. The duration of the policy is 16 years. I was convinced to buy this policy by rbl relationship manager indore.
I was explained in the form of illustration that at the end of 8 years, i will be getting rs 3, 50, 000/-. Then payout of rs 40, 000 per year will start and be given till next 8 year and at the last 16th year i will be getting about rs 7, 20, 000/- (In total) with the investment of 4, 00, 000/-. I agreed to this and submitted a cheque of rs 50, 000/-, bearing the number 301646 dated 14th feb 2019
I received an email documents on 15th feb 2019, however now i believe the policy is not right for me. I have had second thoughts and believe that the expected returns in the plan will be low, considering the long duration of 8 years during which the money will be locked. I am likely to face financial instability in the near future as i need money. As i am in 15 day free-look period i intend to cancel my policy at the earliest.
Please let me know the cancellation and refund procedure.
