I have given a credit card from hdfc, during the disclosure it was told to me its a lifetime free credit card and no charges will apply for it after doing the first transaction at the payzap, but when i received my credit-card i found that the name embossed on it was not correct so this card definitely doesn't belong to me as the embossed name and my name and mistake so i decided not to use this card. Hence i never activated or even use this card anytime, also escalated this issue to the concerned department that the name embossed on is incorrect is not correct & i will not use it please close this. My email ref no is [protected] after 3-4 months i received an email of payment of the annual fee of the credit card. This is not accepted.
1. The card received had incorrect details, also inform the same via email ut no action was taken, why should i pay for the card which doesn't belong to me
2. Never activated or used card, how could company charge me if i have not activated any such service

Updated by rajesh_rathod It has over 5 days but no official communication has happened regarding the same, also I have given a written application at HDFC back woril branch but it seams hdfc seams not to be interested also it will affect my credit score if this happens, I will take this issue forward.
