I had bought a policy from hdfc life in 2013, at that time the agent told me that the if you will pay 20, 000 (Approx) per year:
- for 5 years then you will get 2, 00, 000 + bonus
- for 10 year then you will get around 5, 00, 000 + bonus.
But when i bought the policy it state that "sum assured" will be 1, 89, 000 and my annual premium is 19, 838 with 10years duration.
After that i called the agent many times he was not responding at all. Then i call the hdfc life customer care they told me it cannot be changed and you have to pay the premium otherwise your paid premium will lapse.
Recently i came to know that all the benefits of my policy is given to the agent i. E 30% commission of premium was given to agent. And i am not getting any benefits.
Please look into it.
