i have opened FD AC[protected] with ICICI bank, Kumar park Branch, Bangalore on 27/01/07 and it got matured on 21/02/08, I have not received any Certificate till date, I have visited branch office twice, they say they don’t have any Certificate, and customer services tell it is with branch, branch manager says he will call and let me know the update, but I have not received any update. I am very upset with the banks response; please take necessary action

Dear Sir,
My name is Praneeth Raj working as a software Engineer In Mumbai. I would like appeal against the delay in processing my home loan that i had asked for.
since the property that i had identifed for purchase was in palamaner(Andgra Pradesh) i approached the ICICI Tirupati Branch for the laon through S V Associates(third party dealer).
After the estimates and submission of the necessary documents i was been approved with Home loan for Rs.11, 00, 000 appr. (in December 2007)
but later on further investigation ICICI bank representative told that the loan could be given only upon the registration of the house on my name.
Upon confirmation of loan sanction from ICICI we registered from the owner by giving him a post dated cheque of 5 lacs.
The registration costed me around 1, 10, 000. Upon successfull completion of the registration and submission of the duplicate form, ICICI repressentative approached our home with a cheque of 5 lacs (on the name of SanthoshKumar from ING Vysya Bank)
Another cheque og Rs 6 lacs (cheque Number:652619) and another cheque of Rs.29, 000/- as insurance (cheque Number:352620)
But he asked us for the original documents which did not have it at that time, hence that ICICI representative returned back without giving the cheque to us and reason for that was we did not possess the original documents of the House at that time. Later we were asked to approach the bank with the original documents, But when we approached the ICICI bank with the required documents, there ICICI is demanding for the original Link documents which we cannot submit as it contains other property information also. Hence forth this has been kep pending and there is no proper response from the ICICI or from S V Consulting(tirupati ICICI home loan dealer).The owner from where i have purchased the house is demanding money from me now as per the date, Since the home loan was sanctioned i had issued him a post dated cheque for 5 lacs which he is ready to claim now .
Sit, Please treat my request as URGENT and let me know how to proceed regarding the same
Since i did not posssed all the money that was involved in the registration i had to take debt hoping to clear it once the home loan is sanctioned but so far there is no proper response, Ireally do not understand why there is such a problem happening even though there was direct communication between the party and ICICI.
I am eagerly waiting for your prompt response, Please act on this request at the earliest

    Subject - Dormant Account
    Bank ICICI Bank Ltd - Bundh Garden Road - Pune - Maharastra
    I have a savings Bank account in Icici in the above Branch.Due to my regular assighnments abroad i did not maintain a minimum balance of Rs 5000/- I came back after 2 years abroad activated my account and deposited Rs 18000/- next day went to ask my balance to my surprise they told me it was Rs 8000/-, when asked they said -As I had not maintained the minimum balance they had to deduct the charges.NOW my question to the bank and the banking regulatory organs, thats RBI -TO what PERIOD of time the Bank goes on charging the amount, is it for a life time which doesnt sound logical at all to me . SO if i for some reason i come back to the bank after say 20 years and activate my account does the Bank cut some lakhs of Rupees from the amount i deposit. I feel the more sensible thing wud be after 3 months the account if not maintained should be frozen and charges for 3 months only sounds reasonable to me .PLEASE let me know whats the correct procedure=Regards

    yes, I agreed Because i also suffer for that in three times of last 9 years.
    ICICI is just stupid...plain hopeless...
    I had 5300 Rs in my acount, all of a sudden they said that I have not maintained miimum balance for 6 months...and where asking for god knows how much..here is what I did withdrew the balance that I had and told them please GO HANG yourself...now I am in the US and they keep adding fees to my account...set of idioits ...that is what they are...

    I had asked them to close my account when there wasa +ve balance...they (as usual) started making crazy excuses for not closing my account...

    anyways, I not careanymore...as ofnow my balance is negative 2000 and growing...once again...to ICICI...go hang yourself guys !!

    Is it ICICI trick to make money in a wrong way? They want KYC from NRIs while NRIs are not eligible for Aadhar until they live for certain time in India. Not all NRIs can live in India for that period of time leaving their jobs. So why Aadhar card is mandatory for KYC why not some other ID! Why ICICI is making fool of NRIs and grabbing their money wrongly. Someone needs to look into it.

      Today 23January 2009 at 11.05am, 11.17am, 11.23am and 11.29am, I got four messages on my Mob that “Dear Kaif Mohd Iqbal”, you have made transaction o[censored]SD amount. The Details are as follows.

          I had requested for my documents related to my home loan account . The call was made on the 2nd April and I was committed a deadline of 10 days for delivery for a charge of Rs 562/, since then I have been continously been sending mails for updates, they finally told me that the documents have been sent on 4th April, Till this day i.e. today 20th April, I have not recieved any documents, when I called the helpline [protected], they said they have referred the matter to higher officals and said that I will get them by 27th April i.e. after 25 days . I want to know who controls the banks and their delivery of services to customer. They are taking customers for a ride, the service levels are pathetic, they say someone will call back no one does. Why should I as a consumer pay Rs 562/- for service that the bank has failed to give to me. Its not the first time they have done that, they delivered by debit card toa wrong address and refused to take responsibility for it. I heard they were awarded the best bank in service by CNBC, guess the judges were dozing.

          Hi,
          According to me the Finanace Minister have taken a bribe from the ICICI bank, thats the reason they have been awarded number one bank in India.Their customer care office Employees dont have any records, becasuse its gets updated after 3 days.
          I don't understand who have given you the rights to put our account on lein & Hold wjen you people charge us for chq bounce and late payment charges.ICICi bank lacks is customer service and customer satisfaction alot.
          You think that your collection department person is going to come from Andheri and we are going to be frighten, next time if anyone calls me like this I am going to call hime and teach him a lesson by sending him to a hospital with whole body broken.

          ICICI bank good for nothing.Tum Kuch nahin ho...what you speak hum hain naa.

          ICICI Homeloan — No proper service response

          I have taken a housing loan from ICICI almost 10 years back. I deposited the monthly EMI cheque wrongly at ICICI Indore, which I came to know a day after.

          Now when I am trying to rectify there is no co-operation from the staff at Indore ( Malwa Parisar) to return my cheque which can be deposited at right place.

          The toll free numbers are useless and it's a harrasment rather.

          I don't know where my cheque is ( Chq no 289344 BOB).

            I saw on my net banking account that I had a preapproved loan of 450000 which I could apply for. As I needed funds for my cousins surgery urgently I applied for it on Monday 24th March 08. On 25th I went to Mindspace branch (Malad West Mumbai) and submitted some of the documents (LOan AC no LPMUM[protected] & File no[protected] . On 26th I had given them the blank cheques as well, thats when they (Mr Nikhil ([protected]) informed me that I would get the funds by Tuesday1st April 08. However I received no intimation from them till thursday 3rd april. On Friday morning I was to leave for Bangelore when I got an SMS that the loan was sanctioned and I was asked to contact the branch. The same day I got a call from the bank asking me to contact the branch. I informed them that I did not require the loan any more as I had arranged for the funds from elsewhere because of the delay. The advisor thanked me and said that the loan application would be cancelled. However I was shocked to find that an amount of more that 244000 (I had applied for 250000) was credited to my account. I called the helpline instantly and they apologised for the mistake and said that the amount would be reversed if i visited a loan center (bank branch). I went to the Mindspace branch on tuesday 8th (when I came back from Bangalore). Thats when Nikhil informed me that it was not possible for the bank to reverse it. I explained him the entire scenario but he was insisting that I should have called before the credit happened. He said that he would speak to his loan manager mr Farooq and get back to me. He was absent from duty on 9th & 10th and called me on 11th informing me that I would have to pay Rs. 1000 as cancellation charges apart from the interest for all these days when the amount was in my account which I feel is totally unfair. First of all the money was credited to my account without informing me and now the bank is forcing me to pay interest on this amount. Please help.

              Even though the transaction was unsuccessful the cash amount of 5000/ was deducted from my account. Below is the transaction detail.
              04/02/2008 MAT/CASH WDL/[protected]/0 DR INR 5, 000.00

              The above mentioned transaction was "UNSUCCESSFUL transaction" and SR54474221 was raised for the same on 3rd Feb with ICICI Bank.

              Nothing has happened since last 10 weeks and they need 10 more weeks to respond to the same

                Hello,
                I have my salary account with ICICI Bank, Indira Nagar branch, Bangalore. On 11th March 2008 i have wrongly transferred Rs5500/- to an account under UCO Bank, Indira Nagar branch, Bangalore.

                Soon after the remittance, i have visited to my salary account branch and intimated this fact but i'm being told that nothing can be done as the payment already been processed to UCO Bank irrespective whether account is a valid account or not.
                account number to which i remitted the money is[protected] which doesnot belong to UCO Bank at all.

                Then i have visited uco bank too but nothing happend till date and i have not received my money yet.

                ICICI Bank — Misuse of Internet fund transfer

                Hi,

                I have my ICICI account in Koramangala, Bangalore. Some one by the name Aftab has illegally transferred fund from my account to his through online - net banking. I have received the message for adding the payee. Without keying the detials, how could someone be added as a payee. Moreover to transfer fund online, you need various information like - Username, login password, transaction password, grid which is behind the card etc. How could one hack all this information and transfer the fund.

                The amount which I have lost is 24, 000.

                I had transfered Rs.5000.00 from SBI ATM cum debit card no.[protected] on 03.08.2010 to ICICI bank debit card no.[protected] to VISA . but the same not credited yet.

                  Dear Sir,
                  There used to be a credit card company by the name of Tata Amex that had withdrawn operations approximately 4 to 5 years ago. We used to hold a credit card from that company and also owed them a few thousand rupees. Due to them shutting shop, all their drop boxes etc were withdrawn and we couldn't pay them. Now, after these many years, one man called my husband up and threatened him with dire consquences if the money is not paid immediately. He said he was calling from ICICI Bank and they owned Tata Amex. However, he didn't give us details as to how to make that payment and spoke to him rather rudely. I want to take action against this person/organisation because at no point of time did we refuse to pay back.

                  I am the employee of ICICI Bank.
                  I have resign from the company.
                  As per the Appointment letter states that the Notice Period is 30 Days. On non serving of notice period the Gross salary need to be paid. I resign with no notice and ready to pay for the unserved day.

                  My resignation is accepted with 90 days notice. And not releiving me. Instead of relieving me thay harrassing me. I required a relieving letter.
                  I have escalated the matter to the Chairmand and Head of HR too. No resolution.

But last month due to some problem i was unable to pay the Billed Amount but I am getting around 50 calls per day from Collection Deaprt. and they are forcing me and tourchering me to make the payment and they are saying will send you the some person at home. I have alreday raised these concern to ICICI c. Care by service request Number - SR[protected]., But still i am getting calls . I have never given in written to the bank that everymonth i will use the card and make the payment on time. If bank will do like that then i think Nobody will take any card on this Condtion. definately i will pay the amount if they have to charge interest they can but why they are bothering me and forcing me .. Sir pls. Kindly hep me really i am frustrated by this behavior by ICICI bank.

                  1 March 2007 I had paid a cheque to ICICI Bank in which I had put the worng month (i.e. July 2007; instead of March 2007). The bank called me and immediately I released a fresh cheque with correct month and the amount was cleared. I had, however, requested the bank to send back the cheque. BUT, ICICI said that they cannot send back any cheque but that I could HOT LIST the cheque. I was told that when a cheque is HOT LISTED it will not be presented. So I agreed and placed a request to HOT LIST the cheque for Rs. 22, 000 which was dated July 2007 I wanted the cheque back but I was not given the same / I was forced to HOT LIST the cheque which was not supposed to be presented / When I pushed for this I was told that, it was MYT FAULT for writing the wrong month on the cheque.
                  2 June 2007 Now in June I get my statement from ICICI basis which I released a cheque of Rs. 40, 000 dated July 2007. BUT, to my astonishment I get an sms saying that a cheque of Rs. 22, 000 has been received by ICICI with thanks. Now I panic because I'm asking myself that I deposited a cheque of Rs. 40, 000 and where is the balance. So I call ICICI and I am made to wait for approx. 35 minutes. Then a phone executive says that they have received a cheque of Rs. 22, 000 and not Rs. 40, 000. So I tell them that I had paid Rs. 40, 000 and then they say that they will call me back. Obviously, they do not and I'm worried now. So I call ICICI again and after another 20+ minutes wait I get to hear that they also have a cheque for Rs. 40, 000. Now I have realized that the Rs. 22, 000 cheque was the HOT LISTED cheque that they have decided to present. Who's fault is it that ICIC present a HOT LISTED cheque? Imagine the tension till this gets resolved for me. Where is the balance Rs. 18, 000 gone and it was a good 5 - 7 hours before I realized this. Let me remind you that it was me who realized that the HOT LISTED cheque was the one presented by this so called PROFESSIONAL BANK called ICICI
                  3 March 2008 My credit card balance was Rs. 38 +
                  4 6th March 2008 Deposited cheque for Rs. 35, 000 into drop box. Cheque was dated 9th March 2008.
                  5 15th March 2008 Confirmation from Vijaya Bank that Rs. 35, 000 has been paid to ICICI Bank vide last 5 transactions on debot card
                  6 15th March 2008 Checked available balance on ICICI card and it showed Rs. 35, 000 +. So I filled fuel for Rs. 2000 and drew cash of Rs. 13, 000. Now in my mind I should have Rs. 20, 000 available balance, right
                  7 16th March 2008 Went to Little Italy, Indiranagar, BLR with wife, son and an important Client. Bill for Rs. 1400+ declined. Restaurant full of customers and my card was declined 4 times. Each time was a huge embarrassment. I seldom carry cash and neither does my wife. So my wife had to scan for a UTI ATM; found one and drew cash from it. In the meantime the embarrassement continues as my Client offers to pay (He could not wait till my wife returned). He paid and left while I waited. My wife returns with the cash and I just could not allow the episode to continue. So I drove to my Clients house which is in Yellahanka and after a 1 . 5 hour drive managed to return his money. The worst part was that I made 6 calls to the ICICI exec the same day. Waited for an average of 25 minutes before I got to speak to an operator. Each time was a different operator. Each one of them had NO IDEA why after paying Rs. 35, 000 did my balance show so low a balance. Now imagine what am I thinking - "ICICI are CHEATS and they're robbing me only my Rs. 20, 000 that I should have as balance. Anyways, I lodged a complaint (SR[protected] with a person by name, RAkesh. He apologized for the error and said that it will take 2 days to rectify. Now in the evening I felt I should just check again. I spoke to a female rep of ICICI after waiting as usual and what she told blew my mind. "Sir, ICICI has paid back Rs. 22, 000 to Vijaya Bank because your cheque was post dated as 9th March 2008, while it was deposited on the 6th March 2008. I literally fell off my seat and when I enquired further she said that she needs to check. I wait for 30+ minutes and she returns telling me that, she can take a complaint because she does not know what the error with ICICI is.

I called again the ICICI exec, who said that if I needed to meet an ICICI Manager then I would have to visit the head office on MG Road. I left office and reached ICICI Bank on MG Road after 45 minutes driving time. I waited in line and then was told that I needed to go to Mythri Towers, Bommanahalli. I was given 3 LAN numbers which I called 17 times and not once was the lines answered. Then I managed to locate the place after a drive time of 1 . 50 hours. In the meantime I applied for half day leave as I wanted to sort this one out. I met with Shivank (Collections Manager) AND only then (After waiting for an hour) did he tell me that Rs. 22, 000 was taken back by ICICI because of a cheque that did not clear in July 2007. Imagine the shock, anger and frustration... I tore the card into 6 pieces and gave it to Shivank and told him that ICICI can take a LONG and HARD walk because that is the end of my association with ICICI ICICI sleeping since July 2007??? / ICICI decides to simply acquire money without informing the customer???? / Who knows if this is true and if ICICI has really not collected the amount??? My mind tell me that ICICI are cheats, criminals, crooks and robbers... What does your mind tell you???? Rs. 3500 time cost / Rs. 200 fuel cost

I told the OMBUDSMAN that now I realize that ICICI is really far far worse I want my compensation and just like ICICI loves to simply charge extras and cheat so will my compensation be increased as time goes by.                     In the year 2005 I purchased GOI 8% savings bonds-2003 from the ICICI bank and authorised the six monthly interest of Rs. 8000/ to be credited to my savings account no.[protected] with the ICICI Bank, Habshiguda branch. For some time this arrangement worked well because the minium balance to be maintained by the account holder was reasonable when I had opened my account. After a couple of years however the bank suddenly changed the minimum balance rule without asking the customers if they would continue under the new regime. The bank does not issue any passbook which while renewing will intimate the customer as to what is happening to his savings.
                    Last month when I visited the bank to withdraw some mony, I was shocked to learn that my entire savings have been amalgamated/usurped by the bank by way of fines for not maintaining the arbitrarily chosen high minimum balance and presently I am having a negative balance. Now I feel this is totally unjustified. The bank should have given me a chance to either close my account or to continue under the new rules. I therefore request that my interest should be restored and I may be allowed to close my account.
                    This is to Inform that you I have an Account with ICICI Bank, and also a prefered credit card with ICICI Bank.now they are withdraw directly money from my account for credit card without any information, which I have never linked my credit card with my account,

                      Hello All,

                      My name is Ratnakar. ICICI bank has cheated me and take out my money of Rs. 35, 000 without any information. Since 4 years back ICICI has issues a credit card to me since then till date even 1 time also I didnt used that card once. Now since an 2 months back they have sent a message that I was due of 29, 000 on my credit card .When I eqnuired them they said that they alloted a second card to me which I never ever applied. Immediately I have placed an dispute letter and they said that they will comeback in 60 days but they never ever came back to me. I have called them more than 50 times to their call center and every timg they use the disconnect after saying its dispute transaction, I am having proof of all calls I have made to them. I have visited to their center also but ICICI people didnt ever gave any good reponsive reply.

                      One thing here is card is been used even I said to block the card also. And some on has done the payment also. But ICICI people has never even lookinto that mistake which they have done. Now the ICICI peole have blocked the Amout of 35000 including ineterest from my saving Account without giving me any sort of Notice or calling me also. Now yesterday they have even withdrawn that amount also without informing me. When I have visited their manager he replied very worstly " GO COURT, WE WILL ALSO SEE WHAT YOU CAN DO" this is the way is ICICI replied me. I have all the proofs with me, showing that nothing wrong was at my end. And I have not linked my credit card account to my saving account. I have always maintained good balance in my account, if I want to cheat why I will mailtain balance. Guys plz all help me out in the fight againts I am doing of ICICI. I need all your co-operation and help. I am filing a case against to them.

                      ICICI Credit Card — ICICI Cheaters

                      I applied for an ICICI Titanium credit card around mid of October 1007. The executive visited me, took all forms, photo, documents etc and told and told me that I should be getting the card in the next 2 - 3 weeks . He also told me that I will be getting a verification call, which I received too.

                      I got three verification calls (Yes, THREE!!) to verify my details, from three different ICICI personnel, asking the same information over the next two weeks and FOUR address verification, Two in Office and TWO in Home and I had to entertain all of them with all the information and additional documents they asked for verification (It was always the same thing and they would say that if they don’t present the documents, the verification will be marked as negative)

                      I called ICICI last week of October and was informed that my application "cannot be found" on the system!!!

                      Finally when I called the customer care (the hellish experience on earth) I came to know that my application got rejected (god knows for whatever reasons).

                      Whenever somebody tries to call icici bank and you will get many options. Upon selecting one option, you will get much more options and the process continues. By the time you speak to some human being (after selecting all unwanted options) you would have spent 10 - 15 mins wasting your phone call.

                      After all these drama, I came to know the result of my application. First of all, the executives who come to us makes vague promises telling that we are eligible for the card and promose 101 things. The actual truth is, these cheaters get an incentive for "every application form" filled, from the customers, whether the applicants get the card or not.

                      Wonder how they got to be No. 1 in credit cards.

                      ICICI Credit Card — ICICI credit is asking me to pay that amount without using credit card

                      My self Bhupinder Singh and I have a complaint against ICICI Credit card.

                      ICICI Bank’s Marketing person has sold me a credit card in January 2006 and I have received Credit card (Credit card number [protected]) in February 2006. But ICICI has sent me an insurance policy along with the credit card which I have not asked for. As soon as I have received my credit card I have make a call to customer care (One can check the record for the same for incoming call made by me for that card) to cancel my insurance policy (ICICI policy has 15 days to cancel the policy from the date of issue); but the customer care executive told me that if I will cancel the policy I have to pay 1395.00 Rs (One thousand three hundred and ninety five Rs. only). After that despite of my calls no charges revert back by ICICI credit card. I have not used credit for any transaction, not even a single swipe.

                      But now after one year I received a call from Delhi[protected] from Mona for payment of 4300.00 Rs against my credit card and she negotiate the amount to Rs 575.00 to give me the clean chit against my credit card statement.
                      Again on dated 13/11/2007 I had recieved a call on my mobile from a number [protected] and the person didn’t tell me his name but give me a number [protected] and asked me to call on this number as some one is going to impose a legal case on me in Patiala house of Delhi and the number belongs to Advocate Shikha Desai. He told me that I should tell her my file number 3447.

                      I made a phone call to that number on 3:20 pm and she said that ICICI credit card is going to impose a legal case on you, if I don’t want to legal procedure I should talk to Mr. Balwinder on [protected] or on [protected]. She told me that person is the collection manager.

                      I made a call to that number, one number was switched off and second number was deliberately not picking up even after so many calls. I again rang advocate Shikha Desai and told her that no one is responding to phone calls. She told me that call after 5 minutes.

                      I made a call after 5 minutes and Mr. Balwinder told me that I have to pay the amount weather you have purchased any thing from credit card or not and now the negotiated amount was 945.00 Rs.

                      The time I got a phone call from a person on dated 13/11/2007 at 3:15 pm I was in a critical meeting and suddenly I was in shock and instead of meeting I have to take time out for making calls to ICICI credit card persons.

                      I just want to ask one thing that I have not used credit card, I have asked policy, I had asked bank to cancel my policy with in the time frame; Still ICICI doing the mental harassment and wasting my time unnecessarily.

                      what is your response to this now? i am having similar issue which i received a letter on 23rd April and someone else was using a credit card in my name. when i spoke to the bank they did not respond to me properly and asked me to do what ever i could.. i am planning to lodge a police complaint!

                      ICICI is a big cheater. Let me know whats your case status at present. I would like to help you as I am also suffering from 'no response' on the unauthorized usage of my credit card.

[protected] and making all the payments in time but the statement of January 2008 has not been received by the undersigned till date but after receiving SMS from you I made a payment of Rs. 5417/- on 28.02.2008 through cheque no 950073 dated 28.02.2008 but in the statement of February 2008 Rs. 412.96 was shown as outstanding previous balance and on making enquiry it was informed that this payment is made to BSNL Gurgaon for phone no. 2252624 but no such payment ha been made till date in this account. Above all this you have charged all types of charges on the undersigned. Interestingly on a payment of Rs. 412.96 you are charging an interest of Rs. 427.45 for one month apart from late fee etc.
                      Apart from al this I have never applied for any service from you to make any payment to BSNL Gurgaon or ant where else on my behalf and without my requestor permission you could not make any payment n my behalf. It is also suggested that the above phone is not in my name.
                      I have lodged complaint in this regard several times in your costumer care but despite request they did not gave and reference no. for further communication on the pretext that they do not provide any reference no. and also advised me to write to you.

                      You are advised to rectify your mistake and correct the outstanding position of the undersigned to enable me to make the genuine payment otherwise I shall have no option but to approach the MRTP Commission as well as Court of Law.

                      History of case:

                      I have already given a request for close my credit card no.[protected] at below mentioned no.[protected] to one of your executive in the month of April.

                      I had many discussions with your executives regarding the full and final settlement of my account. Finally, decided by your Chandigarh team, they instructed me to deposit 9000/- in two installments (4000 + 5000) for final settlement. I have already paid Rs.1060/- before this, it means total amount would be

                      9000+1060= 10160/-.

                      v One of your executive visited my premises to collect two cheques (4000 + 5000) worth Rs.9000/- and provided me NO objection certificate (which is currently with me) against that payment of Rs.9000/- by cheque in two installments.



                      Current status:

                      One payment of Rs.4000/- has been debited from my account and second or final payment of Rs.5000/- will be debited from my account on 12th May 08.



                      Issue:

                      I have received a bill of Rs.12000/- approx. in last dates of April for the same account, after that I logged my same concern at your website. Against that complaint I received a call from your customer care (Ashish) Hyderabad, he confirmed that my account is still open and there is no records found regarding final settlement or NOC.



                      Now, my question is you people have already provided me the NOC against the amount of Rs.10160/- then why you people are sending bills again and again to me.

                      What type of fun you people have in this. I failed to understand. Pls try to understand it gives bad impact on your Brand Name.



                      Pls provide me the resolution for the above mentioned concern immediately or send me the contacts of your legal desk for further action.

                      they are just cheating on people saying they will be getting their credit card soon only if they accept for the insurance policy and promise to cancel them later which they never do...

                      This is Rajasekhar I have complaint is there regarding Lombard (cashless healthcard) your one of the executive Rani is there did the blended mistake for me.

                      Actually I have apply for credit card. She calls to me and told that your credit card has some amount will be blocked some 20000 amount suppose this amount will be unblocked you must take the policies that amount. After that you have received documents you given a 15 days grace period for decide whether the policy is taken or not. My policy is activated on September 20. She told me after 1 month there is no deductions in the amount suppose you want to cancel the policies.

                      My policy details are one is 04007890/00/00 and 04007889/00/000 regarding this plz help no deduction of my amount.
                      I enquired that executive Rani is leave that company.

                      I am Manavi Sharma a Credit Card holder for ICICI bank. I have been harrasssed of the unnecessary fees and charges levied to my account, If you see the track record of my account, I have been making all the payments in full for any of the purchases, It was once when I was delayed in one of the payment as I was travelling, I have never put in any request of any kinds as SI Standing Instructions. I told them to remove this charge which they never did so I delayed the payment and for a meager amount of 3000 they have made the amoount outstanding to my account as 12800 now. I am ready to make the payment for my Purchases - that extra charge of Si ...I will not make any payment for any amount accumulated due to unnecessary charges and fees.

                      I have other credit cards too, I have a wonderful record with them . ICICI credit card service is the worst I have ever encountered.

                      Credit Card — cheating of card said my name and sent the card in my wife's name

                      dear sir, i am amn amro credit card holder from past 2 years, bank dsa rep. called me one miss Nidhi of m/s press enterprises pvt. ltd no.16, 2nd floor, apple villa, lalbagh road, bangalore-27, phone 66126000. she told me that if i was married i will get one more card in my name with a limit 4 time more than the existing limit. so she asked for my marriage proof, so i gave my wife's voter's id, and i signed for one document without reading the content because i was in a hurry. one of the executive came near my house a took the signature, i informed him also that the card should be in my name only. when i reciecved the card it is in my wife's name.
                      so this is a clear way of cheating and abn amro will be in black marks in future by this D.S.A. of abn amro. the request the concern people to take immediate action and i request them to cancel my wife's credit card.

                      I had provided all the required documents to one of the fe of icici bank for a new credit card.I waited since a mth for the positive or negative reasponce for the bank side.I didnt receive any notification frm their side..even my documents are been not gvn returned to me.

                      I have one Visa Card from ICICI Bank issued in November 2006 having no. 4477 **** **** 4000. I have never recived the original card though I have received a subsidiary card.I have not used the card since January 2008 and still the Bank is asking to pay Rs. 9800/- towards the credit card. Neither the Bank is regular in sending Monthly statement and it is very difficult to get the complint lodegd on Customer care. Yes they do send their recovery agents in time. I have received umpteen number of telephone calls from the Bank and every time I have to explain themthe cause but no one cares thereafe.

                      In June 2008 Ihave received a call from the Bank and stated that I have to pay Rs. 15000/- . I immediately agreed asked him to issue a statement to that effect but he told me that fist you pay the amount and then we will issue the statement. I paid them Rs. 10, 000/- instantly but in next statement no deduction was made on account of interest charges. I further paid Rs. 5000/- in september as I was again assured by Ravi that no further amount need to be paid.

                      It seems that Bank deliberately doesnot want to settle the issues so Interest charges keeps on increasing. I have received a letter from ICICI Bank Bombay in November and I have written to them in November itself. But look at the working of the Bank, It gives Newspaper advertisement to inculcate the customers but when the same customer writes it doesnot care.

                      The Bank has created the mess. The tactics of the Bank is simple create a mess and customer will have to pay.

                      My Card was moved to CIBIL Status and I have gone for a settlement on 9/8/2008 to close my card.
                      I have paid RS 5000 as settelement amount and the bank informed the card will remove from the CIBIL status on the next update of CIBIL ( within 30 to 45 days).
                      Still now CIBIL is not removed and i am not able to go for any loans.


                      I have sended the mail to CIBIL deparment on 31/12/2008 and they told to approach the credit institution, which has drawn a report on me.Requesting the ICICI bank to send the updated records to the CIBIL, will then get reflected in my credit report.

                      ICICI Credit Card — ISSUANCE OF CREDIT CARD

                      This has reference to issuance of CREDIT CARD by ICICI. Whereas I have not applied for it whether it is renewed or issued fresh. My resentment towards the person who delivered the Credit Card in my Office after coming to me and asking about me who is Rajeev Choudhary. I told him that I am the person to whom you want. Asked me show your identity. I asked him you entered in this University after that you have advised that you go to Academic Section the concerned person is sitting in that Office. After that you have come to me and asked my identity. I am working here for the last 21 years. He take back the Credit Card from me. My aim only to bring your kind notice that the Credit Card opened retruned herewith. If any dealing with that Credit Card I am not responsible for it because I am not uitlizing lthe services of ICICI CREDIT CARD. So, in future ensure that person who delivered the Credit Card How to talk with a person.

                      A few years ago, I was issued a ICICI Gold card from your end, without me applying for the same, It was subsequently the said card was upgraded as a platinum card. I always pay the credit card bill in full and not in installment basis you offer.

                      The statement dated 17th March 2009 was processed from my office and was dropped in ICICI Credit card drop box. Since the amount was not debited to our account for Rs.14, 042.54/- for more than two days, our accounts department followed with your customer care cell on the same and only then they informed us since there was an error in the credit card number mentioned in the cheque, and the same was not processed. Further they could not offer any explanation why we were not informed of the same.

                      The same evening, when I used my card in Apollo pharmacy, at Chennai, the transaction was declined, which needless to mention was embarrassing and irritating, considering that I have a clean track record. I had used my other platinum credit card to pay the same.

                      Immediately after the above impleasant episode I received an SMS from mobile number[protected] stating the transaction of INR Rs.10, 869 was declined due to delay in my payment, and further asked me to contact customer care.

                      In view of the above kindly clarify the following:
                      a) You send an SMS that a credit card bill is dispatched and payment due date, and you send an SMS when a transaction is declined
                      b) Why then don’t you send an SMS when there is an error in our cheque, which has never happened before.
                      c) Even if the payment is delayed, and when I have substantial unutilized credit limits, where is the need to decline transactions, especially when I have a good track record of payment ?
                      Till I receive a satisfactory explanation from your end, I have asked my office to suspend all further operations/ payments on this credit card, which has caused me considerable embarrassment and loss of prestige, for which the bank will have to necessarily compensate me.

                      ICICI Credit Card — Regarding Payment Issues

                      Dear Sir/Madam,


                      My problem is related to the ICICI Credit Card. I have taken a Credit Card from the ICICI people during Jan 2008 and after that the ICICI General Lombard Insurance is activated in my card.

                      During March-April I lost my card and I have called the ICICI officials and had blocked my Credit Card and have told that specficially to cancel all the schemesoffers regarding that credit card. They had confirmed me that all the things related to the card are cancelled.

                      After some months, in Oct-2008 I got messages on my cell regarding payment of my credit card with respect to the ICICI Lombard Insurance.I tried calling those customer care but in vain. I didnt get any kind of response from them.

                      I again mailed in the complain queries from the ICICI websites.I told them to reverse all the amounts from my credit card.There is no point of payments since I have already lost the card and even informed the ICICI people regarding this.But those managers replied me like this::

                      If i havenot use the card for any purpose, else I lost it and given all the complains to the ICICI people to cancel everything, then why should I pay ??? I am unable to understand.

                      Even two days before some lady called me from ICICI officials and just talked with me in ruthless way even if saying me that I am playing game with them.

                      I told her, that if after losing credit card also we need to do any kind of payment for the Insurance then they should have informed me when I lost my Credit Card. They havent told me anything regarding this.

                      If they would have told me the same thing then I would have settled the amount there.There are just increasing the amount from 6000--10, 000 nearly.

                      the similar problems even i am facing with icici credit card. they are the best wheb it comes to harassing common man. But i think all those who have any sort of problems with icici bank should unite and fight. Afterall we cannot pay them our hard-earned money without being any fault of ours.
                      I request to all those, who do not have the credit card but its being misused or they possess the card, which they have'nt used instead has been misutilised by someone, or any such fraud case, then please do not communicate with icici or any other bank for that matter on telephone, please always communicate through emails because to have a written record is must. First you should write a complaint to the respective bank and then immediately take police help and lodge an FIR. Again along with the attached copy of FIR write a mail to the bank. This is the best way to safeguard yourself.

                      My Card was moved to CIBIL Status and I have gone for a settlement in 2007 to close my card.
                      I have paid RS 23, 000 as settelement amount and the bank informed the card will remove from the CIBIL status on the next update of CIBIL ( within 30 to 45 days).
                      Still now CIBIL is not removed and i am not able to go for any loans.


                      I have sended the mail to CIBIL deparment and they told to approach the credit institution, which has drawn a report on me.Requesting the ICICI bank to send the updated records to the CIBIL, will then get reflected in my credit report.

                      on 9th of june i received a SMS stating that my loan Emi has got Bounced & the reason given in the SMS was insufficent funds.
                      On 4th June 2009 i have deposited rs 15000(fifteen thousand) to my icici a/c Number[protected].
                      In that case, I dont understand how the EMi could bounce,
                      there could be only one chance that is some one has infilterd into my account, which means that my icici account number is not safe for me to deposit money, if any one can acess to my account any time what is the point in having an debit card, password etc...
                      Further i would like to know how this bounce has taken place, for future i would also like to have an alternate option to deposit my home loan amount, i have lost confidence in your system because of which i would request you to suggest me some other way to pay my home loan rather than deposing my money in the above mentioned account number which is not safe.
                      This is a very serious issue and i request you to address the same immediatly, otherwise i would have to look out for other options to adress this issue.

                      My card was lost and it was 10 days and i was not known then one day i got the sms stating that we accept your trancation because it is over the limit. Then i checked the card. It was not their and i booked the complit to icici bank stating that my card was lost and hot list the card my transactions what made for 5800/- wasw in investigation and temperoury credit was given after 20days the final debit of 5800/- has done. Just i want to know on which terms the invistigation had done - with this no charge slips are providing from the bank. As theyare informing that they cant provide the same.

                      I face similar problem, I have paid my outstanding amount and still they are asking me to pay the outstanding with interest, they have no records of my payment's of credit card, they have moved to CIBIL. They are big time cheats... I m very desperate in finding a solution now.. I donno what to do and how to proceed further. I struggled so much to pay back that outstanding amount.                       I am staying abroad for past 1+ years, I came to know abouth this which I have noticed a sudden deduction
                      of 9, 257.17 from my icici savings amount on 18/06/2009, which was the only balance at that time.

                      When I checked I have seen that was deducted for the Credit Card Balance .
                      Please note I have blocked this credit card in Dec 2007 .

                      When I called the customer today I have realised that this was because of the supplementary card associated with

                      As per the customer care the fraud transactions was happened from this supllementary card.

                      I hope you are aware about Banking Ombudsman. Please lodge a complaint online to your Banking Ombudsman before you go to court. You might get a faster relief. If this does not work then you can try Consumer Court.

                      On 12 July 2009, I made a transaction of Rs 22000/- (ref No 74182279194000000023300) with Holiday Home Makers through your credit card. I was told that as per arrangement with ICICI Bank amount will be repayable in 9 installments with due interest thereon. After 01 or 02 days, I got a confirmation call from your Bank informing me that amount of Rs 22000/- would be recovered in 9 equal installments and interest of Rs 2100/- (appx) would be charged thereon. However, to my utter surprise, the entire amount of Rs 22000/- is included for the payment in my credit card statement for the period 13 July 2009 to 12 August 2009. When I contacted to customer care of the Bank, I was told that Bank has discontinued the above facility and as such I am required to pay entire amount at once on due date. Now, question arises here is that when Bank has already extended the facility how and why it was withdrawn abruptly without informing me, causing enormous inconvenience to me and other customers like me. It just seems that Bank is resorting such undesirable practices just to make the regular customers, defaulters and earn hefty interest to increase the profitability, which are fully against the established laws and practice of the Banking.

                      I would like mention that I am not only holding Credit Card but also availing your following services:-

                      Demat account with Saving Bank Account
                      Regular Savings Bank Account with ATM Card
                      Insurance Holder for two Vehicles
                      ICICI Prudential Life Insurance (Life Stage Pension with annual premium of Rs 1.00 lakh)

                      I have also been identified as "Privileged" customer by the Bank. However, such tall claims of the Bank for efficient services remain on the papers only and in reality no such things are experienced. I may now please be informed reasons for resorting such fraudulent practice by the Bank and hope not to repeat such instances in future to continue our relationship. I am also writing to Banking Ombudsman in the matter to make them aware.

                      I would say "Words of Mouth" is the best way to encounter these Rogue Institutions.
                      I too was duped by ICICI Bank.
                      As there were Transaction Disputes of Rs. 2000/- to my Credit Card Account (No.-[protected]) which had never been resolved by the Concerned Dept. of ICICI Bank, I had also tried to send the related documents as proof but ICICI bank rejected the same just saying that the dispute period was over and hence the matter remains closed.
                      Now that of the Disputed Amount of Rs.[protected]/-, I had already paid Rs. 6434/- on 24-April-2009, my ICICI Credit Card Account has not been closed despite my request.
                      Also they have sent the same to CIBIL. When I again enquired about the same through their Dispute Resolution Branch (ICICI Bank, Sector-8, Rohini, New Delhi), they say they are helpless.
                      ICICI Bank employees of that Rohini branch also confirmed that ICICI Bank always had the motive of Ruining the credit history of Innocent Customers.
                      So guys. Keep your "Words of Mouth" weapon option always open. Wherever you come across ICICI' name, just tell them in short "ICICI Bank is itself a BIG CHEATER, FRAUD INSTITUTION".
                      ICICI is the one of the Biggest cheaters in Banking sector in India ..They had come up with a medical insurance -icici lombard and the marketing was through tele and the executives explains it as very much free for credit card holders ..Infact i was a prey to that, even without my written conscent they had issued the policy and started deducting money from my credit card ..later when questioned cancelled the policy, charging the total amount of 8000 rs to my credit card account and the reason was saying irregular payments ..the emi was deducting thorugh the ecs facility wher i dont have any control, direct debit still accuses me of irregular payments ..where none of the payment was unsuccessful due to insufficient balance.Beware of such cheatings ..even i had complained to Ombudsman but they were not ready to take the case as it happened in 2005, they could take up the cases from 2006

                      There is a lot of issues with ICICI bank credit card division. These people never take proper entries and unneccessarily send statements after 3 or 4 years after closing the credit card account. They are calling me now after 3 years of closure of my CC account and saying to pay 30000. This is pathetic. Please dont ever have an ICICI credit card. They will torture you to death. WE SHOULD RAISE OUR VOICE AND FILE A SUIT AGAINST THEM.
                      I agree with Gunaseelan we should raise our voice together and file a Lawsuit. I have fraud transaction on my credit card and these people are not even ready to take my complaint. You call them they keep you waiting for long time and then say their system is not working. You can not find any phone number for any of their manager. Being in service they should publish number where complaints can be raised.

                      i am trying to put money and want to close the credit card and no one wants to do that, been to nampally office as asked by one of the executive if i want to close the card, fill ed the application and as told by him i m required to wait for 1 month and after that i can close it, but after one month some other executive reaches me and he says its not possible... and when wanted to understand the solution to it, he started with loose talks... is thats how icici managers work and run show... shameless creatures...

                      undersigned have icici credit card no-[protected]. in june 2009 miss minu called ifrom icici settlement department to settle account, minu said to pay full & final amount of rs 1535/- .and i paid that amount in icici credir card account. she told me after payment she will give no objection certificate, but i have not received yet.
                      again on 17 august 2009 i got a call from settle department miss neha sharma and i told her my ccount has been settled but she told me you have to pay more rs 530/- to settle the account. so i told in june minu has called me to settle account, and i have paid rs 1535/- to settlement amount. but she told some calculation error was there so pay rs 530/-. i refused to pay, but she requested to settle account and she wiil give noc . again i called from mr. rajeev sharma to pay amount .and he promised to release noc . so i paid amount. he gave the reference no for settlement letter APP[protected] COURRIER NO. G[protected] ON 18 aug 2009. he promised courrier will within 03 days. but till i have not received any settlement letter yet. now again i am geting calls from icici settlement department . when i have gave above reference no. for settlement, they said it is not settled. i cheated and harassed by icici settlement department.
                      I nilesh jha was given a credit card by icici bank ... i have been one of the victim too of the harrasment of icici bank i read all the comments n complaints agains them and i agree too it even i have gone thru the same... they have given my name in cibil after freezing n removing amount of 29, 554 without any intimation...the time it was removed a day prior i had already ask sumbody to come with papers to settle the amount for 15 k but instead they did this, my card number is [protected], i had a limit of 34 k but i just used 29 k n decided to cancel it since i dint wanted to use credit card seeing the intrest rate they were charging if i wanted to cheat i would have used whole amount and wudnot even ask there employe to come n take the cheque for watever amount we decided for final settlement . when i visited there main branch and inform them that i need to talk to the same person they told me the case is nomore in there bucket i requested them tht my mother is not keeping well and to return me the money and take the money in installment where they asked me to write a letter i did the same they stamped n signed it n gave it to me aying they will return half of the money taken from my account i visited their brach often but they dint and instead they kept some balance on mah account n again started sending me statements harassing me... now when i again when to there brach with the letter they told me the letter doesnt mean anything its just the acceptance and if i want to settle pay 13 k when i called the customer sevice they asked me to pay 14 k i still told them take 5 k n let me live in peace but they dint hear anything and were tryint to be bossy... all i have realised is that icici is a big cheater bank i cancelled my savings account with them 2 ... all they want is to recover more money from customers at any cost...please give me a solution to remove my name from cibil since i would like to apply for a car loan do revert back.

                      they told me many times you have to pay nil(0.00) amount to your this credit card
                      and in next statement it will show it zero but it does not happen the message comes every month
                      in jan2010 its shows to pay me 5 hundred somthing amount
                      and in feb 2010 its show u have to pay Rs. 1414.51 amount which is totally wrong

                      This is in the reference to full and final letter against my credit card #[protected].
                      Please note that I have been chasing ICICI collections i.e. Deepanshu Mob#[protected] from last so many months, however they are not able to resolve the case.

                      This all started with a payment of Rs. 8000*2 = 16000/-, wherein the collection associate asked us to pay first two installments initially in March and they alo mentioned that I will get my full and final letter after deducting the payments.

                      But I didn't received any letter, and on the top of it all collection agent came to us said the same thing but we didn't made anypayments without letter and nobody reverted back.

                      Suddenly my saving account is again lean on 14th Aug '08, I called Niladri at collection office and asked him to check what is all this, he assured me that the account will be unleaned within 24-48hrs and he will resolve the case thereafter, however nothing like the same happened. And I was asked to call Deepanshu [protected], the executive is very rough, not ready to resolve anything and without even confirming the background he said that he has finalised 48000 as a final payment and the installment of the same will get deducted from my saving account.

                      And Rs.25600 approx got deducted too in account of 1st installment of the settlement but that too without full and final letter. These payments are all apart from above 16000/- and I still agreed for settlement on Loss because I genuinely wanted to get humiliated after payments like this.

                      Now Deepanshu is not picking phone and I have again started receiving collection calls and they have got no clue about the dull and final.

                      This is heights of irresponsibility and torture.

                      My point is - I get to know about this a WHEN I CALLED
                      - NO BODY INFORMED ME ABOUT ANYTHING AND EVERYONE IS JUST PLAYING WITH THE ACCOUNT.
                      - I HAVE NEVER DENIED TO PAY, IT IS JUST THAT I AM ASKING ICICI CREDIT CARD DEPTT TO INCLUDE MY INITIAL 16000 PAYMENT INTO CONSIDERATION AS PROMISED BY YOUR EXECUTIVE
                      - WHILE ON CALL DEEPANSHU DIDN'T TRIED RESOLVING ANYTHING MOREOVER HE WAS NOT READY TO TAKE ANY ACCOUNTABILITY

                      I would like to enlighten all this to ICICI higher authorities, so that customer who are ready to make payments should not get mentally tortured like this.

                      It is been 7-8 months in pain and I am ready grab all of you into it if nobody helped me.

                      ICICI bank Issued a credit card for my father mr.                       My Name is Saurabh Rami and I have a Joint Savings Account with ICICI Bank since the last 3 years:

                      On friday, ie., 20/08/10 went to withdraw cash from ATM, and found Rs. 49, 310/- have vanished from my account without my knowledge. I called up the Bank Branch Manager and he told me that some kind of LIEN was issued on my account which was in regards to some credit card.

                      I am in no possession of a credit card from your bank. I was astonished to know that there was a credit card on my name and i was not even aware of it.

                      Then, suddenly on Monday ie. 23/08/10, I come to know that my account has been debited with the full amount and my balance is Zero.

                      I talked to the customer care dept a couple of times to get a complete idea of what all is happening and they finally asked me to go to the collection officer, who was more than adamant and arrogant to inform me that there is nothing he can do about it and the only way I can get out of this LIEN was to pay the amount.

                      Now, my query’s are :

                      1) Why wasn't I called or mailed (or emailed) before putting a LIEN and then debiting my Joint Savings Account, (As a rule the bank is supposed to give at least 7 days notice before debiting the amount from the bank). Then, why was I not informed about the lien to my account?

                      2) I also have another address where i do not stay since April 2006, So in case if someone sends a credit card to that address without me even knowing about it, do you expect me to pay for it????

                      3) It is very easy to apply for a Credit Card by anyone, in someone else’s name as I guess it requires only a PAN Card, which can be found by many people ( I have given to the bank while opening a bank account, and many other departments where photo ID proof is required). Therefore, how was the credit card issued and delivered without my knowledge?

                      I have had a fantastic relationship with ICICI in the last so many years on all fronts. This has been the first time i have faced such an issue with your bank.

                      I have at total of 4 Accounts (1 Joint Savings Account, 1 Savings Account in the name of my wife and 2 current accounts) with ICICI Bank, but now I feel my money is not at all safe with your bank.

                      I request you to please take this matter on high priority and get me a resolution ASAP.

                      No doubt, ICICI Bank is the BIGGEST cheater in indian bank industry. I had been using their cheating card called credit card.I was using widely and was paying the amount correctly.

                      Recently, I moved to UAE so I decided to settle my card.In January 2011, I asked for settlement.settlement amount was for 69200 and I paid 30000 at the same month.

                      Remaining amount I was supposed to pay in next 2 months.Unfortunatly, I could not pay it in February.In mid of March I started calling and sending mails to their customer care.Neither they are speaking in a professional way nor they are replying to my mails.

                      Today I got a mail from them asking for Rs.67397.67..!!! Almost double in just 3 and half months. I have one ICICI SB account which was linked to the credit card and they blocked 16000 which was the total balance.

                      I am going to file a case against them.Let see what happens.I request all of your pray and support against this cheating group.

                      Never Ever recommond ICICI for any type of service which they are offering.

                      Subject: Complaint against ICICI Bank for not Resolving our problem.

                      We have not received the bill of Rs. 1999.85, which is showing in statement of 20th December 2010 as previous Balance. But even than dropped the Cheque Rs. 2542/- on 28/12/2010, Sector 9-D, but Bank have not presented the Cheque or misplaced by them and we have written many letters but they have not given single replied and charged late fee every month on checking our bank statements we have found that Cheque has not being cleared and we have sent another fresh cheque along with the late fee charges of Rs. 542/- but even them charging us interest over interest which have become Rs. 2447.09 where as the fault was not at all from our side since the bill of Rs. 1999.85 was not received by us and we could not make the payment and later on we have paid with late fee charges. We can pay late fee charges once only. Kindly help us to resolve the problem.

                      I have trouble with my ICICI credit card too. Even after obtaining a no dues letter from them in 2009, they are calling and harrassing my family members with threats and saying that i still owe some ridiculous amounts. BTW, the amounts they claim are interests on fraudulent usage of my card that I had written to them about and contested!!                       i got the sms msg from call centre icici credit card dept to my phone number and i send the same msg to "[protected]@icicibank.com" (showing different credit card no and the msg showing as "From TM-ICICIB as "Dear customer, Min amt of INR 410 due on credit card A/c XX7006 as on 23-july-12 will be debited from your bank a/c. Total amt due is INR 8030.44. Ignore if paid."

                      And also got the msg as "FROM TD-ICICIB, as "Dear customer, e-mail statement for ICICI bank credit card 4xxx006 has been sent to [protected]@yahoo.co.in on 07-Jul-12."

                      I got 3 msg. And there is no statement send to my address with this A/c No. If it is send I would have known from where this credit card number came and where it has been purchased. So that i can go for the police complaint.

                      Since I did not purchase any thing from two months and just clearing my dues. This month i cleared my last due by send cheque of Rs.5, 448/-. And same statement has send to my address without any due.).

                        I had taken a loan of Rs.250000 from ICICI Bank, Burdwan, West Bengal office in 2002 for 05 years tenure. My Loan account number is LBBDN[protected]. I have paid all my EMIs through submission of advance PDCs to ICICI bank. After I my last EMI was paid in July, 2007, I approached ICICI bank for return of my original property documents. To my horror, I was told that I have not paid all my EMIs! After my repeated persuation, I was given a print of my loan account statement, which clearly shows that all my EMIs have been paid regularly!! However, in the same statement it is mentioned that an amount of "Rs.5272" is overdue! The bank official could not provide me any clarification about this ficticious "over due"!! I was asked to submit photocopies of my savings account from where I have made payment to ICICI. I immediately submitted and was told that the bank will revert bak to me.

                        After several months of no response, I approached the ICICI higher officials through their official website. Now, in April, 2008, I have been given another statement, showing my "overdues" have grown to about Rs.11500!! The official response I got from the ICICI Customer Relation Manager ( one Mr. Parag Shah) that I should contact their local branch for further processing!

                        While I cited that the same branch has not provided me with any response for over 08 months now, Mr. Shah choose not to respond!

                        After months of harassments and anxieties, I place this complaint with a hope that ICICI bank takes note of its terrible customer services and returns my original propert papers.

                        ICICI does this very often. They will present the EMI cheques late for clearance (although you deposited the PDCs in advance), and then penalize the borrower for ICICI's own delay. It does this intentionally.

                        Remedy:
                        Option1: FIle a case with Consumer courts, you will get the reversal and also get compensation for the mental agony, interest, and cost of litigation etc.

                        Option2: File a case with Banking Ombudsman to get this reversed. It does take time with the RBI though. My case was disposed by Banking Ombudsman in 2.5 years, but ICICI refused to honor it, and now pending appeal with RBI's Dy Governer, and RBI doesnt provide any relief for mental agony, however severe it is, including for life threatening incidences.

                        I have received an sms from the bank in January 2009 stating that the present rate of interest charged to me in this account is 12.5 % and I still have a tenure of 124 months pending for payment.

                        Please be clearly advised that :

                        1. I am a very prompt payer of all my liabilities including your loan EMI.
                        2. The present rate of interest of various nationalized banks is 10 % for home loan which is around 2.5 % lower than your existing rate of interest.
                        3. Such lower rate of interest are prevailing in the market even for loans above Rs. 20 lakhs.
                        4. In view of such mal practice at your end, I insist you to reduce the rate of interest on this account immediately and send me a confirmation in writing confirming the new tenure of home loan with reduced rate of interest.
                        5. I also request a confirmation for subsequent reduction in the rate of interest in future whenever there is a rate of interest cut affecting all the banks equally. I will again lodge complaint for all future rate cut if your rate of interest is higher than the rate of interest of nationalized bank. Hence, you are requested to kindly configure my account in your computer based on competitive and genuine home loan interest charge.
                        6. If you suggest, I can arrange to pre-pay some amount so that you can reduce the rate of interest. I am keeping this option open subject to your confirmation.


                        Incase, you do fail to honor my request, :

                        1. I will firmly approach consumer court and serve you with a legal notice to this effect.
                        2. I shall also approach banking ombudsman to resolve this matter.
                        3. I may shift my loan account with other banker and will not pay the loan cancellation fees.

                            i had a call from cancellation department regarding my policy cancellation they said if i cancel this policy i have to pay 75 % of my premium as a cancellation charges. as you aware this is unreasonable.

                            pls do the needful and cancel this policy at the earliest. pls note that i am not ready to pay a single rupee for this cancellation.pls reply

                                I had applied for GMR infrastructure (GMRINF) and got allocation notice over 3 years back. I could not see the allocation in my icicidirect demat account. Several complaints were lodged with icicidirect, only emails going back and forth but no real progress, here's the history:
                                Initially they said it has not been allocated by registrar,
                                when complained with registrar, I got a mail that it's allocated by registrar and icicidirect acknowledged
                                then ICICIdirect said it's technical error and will be allocated in my account but still not yet done

                                Not sure whom to go now after several vain attempts with icicidirect
                                Stay away from ICICIDirect.com. They have pathetic service quality. Not following SEBI mandate.
                                No point is escalating matters to Head of Service Quality of COO.They are hopeless...

                                Dont invest through ICICIDirect.com.

                                  This is with regards to the EMI Card in my name issued by ICICI bank.([protected])
                                  I got this card sometime in Aug'07-Sept'07. The DSA never informed about the actual rate of interest which will be charged on the spend if the amount is converted to EMI, at the time of application.

                                  In Oct'07 - Nov'07 I spent Rs 8, 900 on the card and received the statement showing Rs2, 000 as the first EMI for the spend.Upon enquiry with the bank call center I was told that the EMI was for 6 months. So effectively I pay Rs 12, 000 for a spen of rs 8, 900 over 6 months. This works out to be approx 34%. After getting aware of such high Interest rate I immediately paid the full amount to the bank and that to with in the due date.

                                  Subsequent to that I have been receiveing statements which show some amount payable as Interest Charges, Service Charges, Late Payment and Service Tax.
                                  I then again spoke to the call centre regarding this and was told that since the Card is EMI I will have to pay the Interest Charges.

                                  Now, when I have paid the full amount in time, there is no reason for me to pay this interest, I also requested the staff to cancel my card.

                                  It has been almost 3 months now and neither the card has been cancelled nor the account closed.
                                  Most recently I was directed to speak to a grievance officer.
                                  The contact nos although 24X7 are always busy.

                                  Please look in to the matter urgently and close my account.

                                    ON january 2008 (7th jan) i received phone call from chennai icici bank and saying that we are from icici bank(tel no.[protected] mallika/shanmugam) loan section - your january 2008 EMI NOT cleared. i shocked and asked with my bank(axis) they told me you EMI is cleared on 7th january. i called again to chennai and told them my EMI is cleared on 7th jan. very next day again call from chennai with same matter. w/in two days i received letter your payment is due and you have to pay cheque return charges/late payment charges.
                                    i rushed to icici bank mangalore branch and asked to give my statement of payment. but they avoid to give me.
                                    but in my bank(axis) there is enough money in account then icici bank people chq submitted on 7th (acutal date is 5th)
                                    there is no fault from my side then also chq return charges/late payment charges.

                                    5 to 7 times i personally meeted but no responsible answer or my requrement of statement. requested them if you give me statement i will pay full and final settlement one time, and i dont want headache. but no answer.
                                    now from last week their (icici bank) recovery agents coming to me pay loan amount.../ i told them pls bring my statementt of which i paid and outstanding. they saying we dont know you have to pay now only.

                                    hope you understand my problem, i want to clear my loan as soon as possible but i want statement why this happened. in my bank(axis) fault or others fault i want to find out.

                                    finally i decided if again recovery agents is come to me i will coplain police/consumer court/media people.

                                    hope your immediate reply/action will be highly apriciated.

                                    I too felt the same. I took loan on 19.8% for my OD but they charged 26.50%. I issued notice to KV Kamath, They reversed the 9800/= to my account. See hou if you quite ICICI bank cheats. They use finacle s/w but their configuration is puprposeley wrong to cheat customers. Normally they do not provide any sanction letter, copy of agreements, receipts, statements etc. If you ask they will not provide. Hence issue notice to the chairman your matter will be solved.                                       Money not credited after Mutual fund redeem (waiting nearly 1 month)

                                      The complaint describes how ICIC bank is abusing its dominant position & exploiting its customer.


                                      I have been using ICICI bank’s Money to India transfer since 2 years. It is linked from my bank in Wells Fargo USA to my Andhra Bank beneficiary bank in India. None of the bank’s account information has changed ever since. Recently I scheduled 3 transfers in January involving the same 2 bank accounts using ICICI ‘s Money to India transfer. On these 3 transfers, I received a confirmation email saying that the funds have been transferred successfully to my beneficiary account in India. After a few days I received another email saying that 1 of the transfers was unsuccessful due to "Account Type Not Found" for my beneficiary account. After following up with Branch Manager of Andhra Bank, Mulund, Mumbai, I was told that no such query was received by Andhra Bank from ICICI bank. I have no clue how all of a sudden my account in Andhra Bank, India could not be verified after a series of successful transactions.

                                      2 months later, I received cash from ICICI bank worth $4872.40 (I had originally scheduled a transfer of $5000) saying that one of the 2 transactions that they initially claimed to have been "successfully" completed was not actually successful and hence they had to return my money. Upon talking to the customer representative, I was told that the transaction was canceled due to same "Account type not found" of my beneficiary account. Also I was told that ICICI bank had to hold this amount before sending it back to me and hence they had to deposit the money at current conversion rate, thus making me incur a loss though no fault of mine. Not only that, it also caused me unnecessary stress and resulted in my funds not reaching India at all, thus ruining my plans.
                                      So ICICI is effectively telling me that I have to pay the price & bear the loss of interest which I would have received had I invested my money elsewhere for 2-3 months. All this because of some screw up from their side and they also claim that they cannot not guarantee a transfer through M2I if the beneficiary is a non-ICICI bank.
                                      I would just like to voice my grievance as a dissatisfied customer and point the inefficiency on part of such a so-called renowned bank and their total loss of decency and courtesy for not being responsible for their actions and showing no empathy towards their harried customer. I just wish to inform all of you out there to be wary of such traps from ICICI bank.

                                      I have experienced the similar situation and its 2 months now and money is still not transfered to the beneficiary account in india even after giving the alternative bank account details. I think that ICICI is playing a monopoly game. someone should take action against ICICI Money2India. One thing is sure. They have found a cheap way of earning good money. Also i have noticed that they normally make this kind of situation if the amount is quite high.

                                      Customer service guys called more than thrice in 2 weeks to confirm they have my fund and due to some system glitch its not transferred and will be credited in 24 hrs [this was 2 weeks ago and nothing has happened ever since]

                                      Automated email from their system claims they have not recived the fund. and send screenshot/ debit advice. which I send like a 100 times...and not even a 1 line reply o those emails.

                                      absolute crap service and customer care does not have aaccess to my emails / account or transfer status. they just put call on hold for few mins and come back with apologies and raise a service request listening to all stories from the begining...

                                      I strongly recommend NOT TO USE ICICI Remit to India service if you transfer money on emergency or amount is huge. They play some cheap tactics here to mis hanlde our fund.
                                      does anyone knows how to escalate or complain against their service??
                                      Even im also a victim of the great money2india servcie.

                                      I have been using ICICI money2India for 4/5 years and i trasferred some amount 2 weeks back and the request statsus is still "Request Received".when i wrote a amil to them they asked to send screen-shots and blah blan..i provided all the evidences what they asked and after that there is no mail from them..after sending out many reminder mails they dont even care to drop a single line mail stating what is going on.
                                      Its really frustating..atleast they should care for their long-run exiting customers..if anyone has any info on how to escalate the issue to their higher management please let me know.
