Hi Team,

This is to bring into your notice that I was trying to reach the icicilombard for taking the Senior Citizen Health Insurance for my mother who is diagnosed with cancer in July'20 and undergoing through the treatment of CA Cervix Cancer 1st stage but all the executives clearly denied that they do not cover pre existing cancer even when this option is clearly available in their imobile application. PFA snapshots for the reference and call recording for their continuos denial of not covering the Gynaecology cancer.

Finally, I raised a concern with IRDA with token number-IRDAI Token no.[protected],[protected] then only your(GRO)- grievance rederessal manage...finally replied by saying as below-

"Dear Sir,

We write this with reference to your concerns registered with IRDAI vide token number[protected].

As per our telephonic conversation held today, we would like to confirm you that any pre-existing disease Declared by insured and accepted by our Medical UW team will be covered after certain waiting period. For this particular product available on our I-Mobile application we do not have any PED specific waiting period (30 days initial waiting period is there).

Further in regards to your concerns regarding PED ‘Any Gynaecological Breast Cancer’, as this is not a part of permanent exclusion we will cover the same after initial waiting period of 30 days.

Also an appropriate feedback has been shared with our concern department for non-occurrence of the same in future. We will strive towards improving our customer service standards to give you a better experience henceforth and we request you to treat this incident as an exceptional occurrence and not as an indication of our service levels.

Then as per his confirmation, I finally made a payment of Rs. 65, 500 with details as mentioned below:

Hi Sunny/ ICICI Lombard team/ GRO's,

As after uncountable mail reminders/calls(to Sunny(+91-[protected])/ Customer Care/ Sagar Wadhwani(not sure about his surname)(phone number--[protected])) did not respond as Sunny( GRO) still is not picking up the call/ Sagar(whom you call the redressal manager) is not picking up the call( when asked for employee id of Sunny and sagar, , , sagar refused to give it to me and asked me to wait for the multiple days but no response from anywhere since the approval was provided over an email by Sunny Karmiyani(Useless guy) as higlighted in below email that over an email he provided the approval earlier/and even on IRDAI website that we will cover the disease after initial period of 30 days but when i took the loan from icici bank...he refused to pickup the call/ refused to respond over the email then help me understand why you people rejected my policy because you provided the approval over an email that's why i took the loan and paid you for that hen tell me who would be responsible now because you people are playing with the life of patients even you redressal manager/officers are useless because they are the defaulters also reason being you people are not responding over calls and emails

      While driving from Bangalore to Karwar on Bangalore-Pune Highway, the bonnet of my Car got detached from the hook and banged the windshield and top roof. This has caused sever damage to the car Windshield, Roof, Fender etc... I have registered for the claim with number MOT10422396 with ICICI Lombard.

      However, after surveying now the insurance company ICICI Lombard has rejected my claims saying there is no cause of accident. The mechanical failure which caused the bonnet lid of the car to get detached due to wind pressure is not considered as the cause of the accident.

      I request you to please resolve this issue and help in approving my claim.

          Dear Sir/Madam,

          Would like to highlight one case where we are cheated either by Metro Hospitals and Paramount TPA.

          Mr Father was hospitalised on 22.10.2020 in Metro Hospital and got Discharged on 11.11.2020.

          Total bill value was 250876 where we got reimbursement of 241776.

          As per TPA, they have approved the entire amount and only 1500 of Ambulance we have to pay where the Hospital is denied from the same that TPA did not reimburse the said amount and we have to pay the total remaining amount i.e. 9100.

          Both the parties denied to reimburse the amount and forcefully charged 7600/- before discharge.

          Now they are not ready to listen to anything and we are not getting any satisfactory response and we charged unnecessary 7600/-.

          We request you to please do the needful and reimburse the amount. Attached documents for your reference.

          we will be highly obliged to you.

              Why should we buy policy from them ?

                  I am not satisfied with the process of claim settlement in ICICI Lombard. My Claim intimation date is 12/Sep/2020 but still we have received multiple queries. I have already approach many times icici lombard Grievance, but no response.

                  Mail received on 14-Sep-2020 - Stated like need to submit "Diagnostic/ Lab report confirming COVID-19 diagnosis". I submitted on the same day

                  Mail received on 01-Oct -2020 Stated - "provide the covid 19 positive confirmation ICMR referral form with seal and signature of the Lab". I submitted on same day

                  Mail received on 10-Oct-2020 Stated - "Please Provide RT-PCR test report" -

                  I don't know Why are they are asking Covid Positive confirmation report with different names/actions. they are bluffing for claim settlement.

                  I don't know what the RT-PCR test is. I had symptoms and I tested in Primary Health center bangarupeta, venkatagiri Mandal, Nellore-524132 on 10/Sep/2020. I got a positive confirming report from AP Govt health dept(Sample Id - 8631129 you can enquire ICMR or through hospital) and we don't have any other report to give. I am really not satisfied with the claim settlement process because I submitted all required documents on time.

                  They are finding various excuses to reject Covid claims

                  it is more than one month since I submitted my claim and there is no update as yet.

                  Their service quality stands to be questioned.

                  They do not provide timely updates. one needs to follow-up regularly.

                  The size of a company does not necessarily matter. It is the values
                  integrity, honesty and transparency that matter.

                  I sometimes wonder whether it is worth buying an insurance policy if you have to literally chase the company for geting your money reimburse.

                      1. The pre-approval of my claim was denied stating that that Covid positive from government was not submitted. Although I had provided the details of the SRF Id and ICMR reference details.

                      They are finding various excuses to reject Covid claims

                        Dear Sir/Madam,

                        I had bought the COVID-19 detection insurance for my mother from ICICI Lombard. The insurance time period is 13 June 2020 to 12 June 2021. On 9th October 2020, my mother was detected with COVID by BBMP. On 14 October 2020, I raised the claim to ICICI Lombard, then they asked me to submit a couple of documents (included the COVID positive report for my mother also provided by BBMP) that I have also done.

                        Now they are not accepting the COVID positive report provided by BBMP, they are saying this report won't work.

                        Please help me out here, as I am feeling cheated by ICICI Lombard, these people are just making excuses and not responding to mail/phone properly.

                        Attaching the policy, sample collection report, report given by BBMP for your reference, and the screenshot of the portal also provided by the Karnataka government.

                            Hi my name is shivam yadav. Iam employee of icici lombard. I work there for three months. Before lockdown everything is good. But after that my manager and tl both harass me. They again and again call me for resign letter. When i regret to do they call me and harass me. I record that conversation. I have all proof. After that when i do not gave resign letter they force fully resign me.

                                Hi,

                                I have raised a request for my icici health policy renewal following which the premium amount was debited from my account on 31st august.
                                Its been 20 days now and i still haven’t received my policy yet. When raised another complaint with lombard team they are saying that they are not able to find successful transaction. For this i have provided success amount debit proofs multiple times but still there’s no resolution.
                                My current policy expires on 19th september.

                                  Honestly telling that you people are not acting faster after providing all doc's sent through mail and hardcopy's and too many calls. I have applied on july 23rd onwards and till zero improvement. This looks your concern fit for nothing. You people are very clear to get premium but reimbursement looks opposite. I am totally got stressed at this point of time due to not happening everything formally at right time. Almost 60 days over... Whats the ans for this?

                                    Cancelation and refund

                                    Dear Sir/ Madam, Refer to my canceled policy 4065/ICICILL/[protected]/00/000. I have been waiting for an eligible refund since 10 Jul 2020. However, every time I had been given some reference number and transaction ID but no refund comes. It is requested to kindly refund a sum of Rs. 888.00 at an early basis against transaction ID [protected] dated 13 Aug 2020.

                                    Please not there is fake agent (https://g.co/kgs/KZ8BgM) following location i visited the store for my lombard car insurance renewal he is referring for other insurance but i'm satisfied with icici lambord he is not having an agent of too so please make not that he is misguiding the costomers

                                      Dear team,

                                      Iam taking property insurance from 2 years ago, still i am not getting any single policy soft copy or hard copy.

                                      Im taking followup from last one & half month form icici lombard employees but not getting any single response on call & mails.

                                      I also taking follow-up from customer support but they also not providing policy copy excluding one policy but it also incorrect so i raise request for endorsement but not received correct policy copy till date,.
