Hi Team,

I hold a car insurance policy of my car number - DL4CAY7842, CIN No. - U50300M1997PLCI49349 intimated on 17/07/2020. (Find the enclosed policy document and claim intimation form)

I'm writing this to raise a concern regarding the problems faced while getting the claim of the car from the ICIC Lombard against the above policy.

1. As a person normally does, I contact my nearest service station intimated them about the accident of my car, and hand over the car to them to process the claim and fix my damaged car.
2. However, after the survey the things go south as the person who surveyed my car is a mannerless, unethical person who has no sense to talk to the customers. As per his comments he can't provide the full damage claim as my story is not justified but it is crystal clear that my car stuck in the colony gate while saving a person on the motor hence the damage anyway after getting the response, I called this unethical person of ICICI Lombard survey team - Mukesh Jain (mukesh.[protected]@icicilombard.com, [protected]) to talk about the approved damaged part.
i. First, he suggested I take the second the claim to get the full car repaired but I disagreed as the damage on the car is from one accident not then your excellent said me this is the only option.
ii. Then I contacted the service station and asked for help and they mentioned it is the normal attitude of this survivor to ask the customers to take the second which is good for the insurance company and negative for the customers.
iii. Again, I called Mr. Mukesh and requested to do the survey again and give the reason how the story is not justified but he said "Do Whatever You Want To Do You Will Get Nothing" (Jo Krna hai kr la kuch nhi millega) in addition he said "second claim bhi pass nhi karunga krwa la krwa sakke toh" and then he used some abusive language.
iv. After that, I talked to his manager and nothing is done by anyone to help me in this regard.

My policy is the most expensive policy covers all type of damages also I never expected such service from the ICICI Lombard after hearing by the reputation of the company but it happened and not I like to seek help and get the full claim first and action against your unethical, mannerless executive MR. Mukesh Kumar

I opened the complaint against it directly in the company but nothing is done due to which my insurance record looks bad on the top of that my car is not repaired.

They are actually looting the customers you can confirm the same from the TATA Service Station, Perragarhi as I'm not the only one who faced the problem while getting the claim from ICICI Lombard.

This forum is my last hope to get the things fixed and done in the right way as currently, I paid for the policy to get my car insured and harassed by the company for paying the money.

Do you have any update on this?

As per my discussion last week with one of your customer care representative, he told he will send the update by the EOD but never seen any response back with any resolution. I asked for the following.

1. On what basis you surveyd my car when you don't even know my policy type? Your team generated the bill of approx. Rs. 1600 to release my car however my Policy covers all other expenses apart from the file charge which is Rs. 1000

2. Written justification of the approved parts. Why the left side door is not covered?

3. When my right side light was not damaged, it is approved by your suryeor instead of the requested part and mess MR. mukesh created was already told in my last mail. (Also, I came to know at the time of delivery that the light was not replaced and I showed the delivery person and clicked a photo and send it to Tata the light is changed today 6th August, It's seems to be scam again with join hands of the Tata service station and ICICI executives)

6. Now who will bear the loss, my car is insured by ICICI and all the mess created beacuse the uneducation and experience of the executives of the insurance company due to which my car is half repaired and now having lot's of other issue due to the bad service.

5. Written apology from MR. Mukesh Kumar about the enthical and rude behaviour.

    Sir / madam,

    I was contacted by one of your staff (Employee id 10062) a few days and she referred my previous policy which was taken in july / august 2019 (Policy no.4111/bah/[protected]/00/000, consists of two policies and you have to pay for the health policy for 2 years with a health cover of rs.3, 00, 000 and the policy amount of around rs.25, 0000. Without referring the policy document, i believed her words and applied for the health cover, applied for the health cover for myself

    Upon verification of the above policy document, i found that the above policy is only for accident cover and not for health cover. The employee has mislead me by cunning words and cheated me.

    As i have already have a health cover for a higher amount, i don't require another health cover, adding to my financial burden during these testing times.

    Kindly stop further processing of the health policy and cancel it at the earliest.

      Was feeling horrible when I have seen such a non-professional email response/update from a senior official person of a reputed banking sector. I could remember that the correction of NCB in my car insurance policy bond ( Policy No. 3001/[protected]/00/000) has been initiated once I came to know the rejection of claim (MOT[protected] due to NCB error on 25th June, 2020. After several requests, repeated responses from you, the same word like 'it will be completed within 48 hr. tenure', however one after one tenure were passed. Unfortunately, you sent the payment link on 6th July, 2020 via an email where there was no mention about the payment for what I will pay. I still paid the amount based on your telephonic promise immediately after getting the payment link, which is 10 days before now. Till now I do not have any proof of following: payment receipt for which specific purpose, NCB correction process status and deadline, etc...

      May I expect to have an informative email which could prove that NCB correction is under process on my policy bond and when it should be corrected. Should I touch the steering of my car?

          I have purchased i20 car from garve hyundai. And garve hyundai has provided me the car insurance of icici lombard. Past 2 years i have renewed my car policy before time and paid the full renewal amount. By the renewal time my car front and back lower bumper was having minnor crashes, but at that time the icici lombard executive had not convey the message of that crashe amount should be paid while renewal. Now i have met with and accident and both front and back lower bumper has damaged by another accident. The claim person is asking me to pay 50% amount of claim. Because of minnor crashes. I have paid renewal amount now i am not give any penny from my pocket for that claim. I have paid to icici lombard for any accident would take place they will provide me the service in the form of claim.

              Dear sir i have purchase a harley street 750 bike (A month ago). And had done insurance through icici lomabard. Now unfortunaly someone hitted my bike and it got damaged. From last two days i am continously trying to contect lombard custmer care but its show busy always.
              I visited to jaipur office but i am was misbehaved and no solution is provided to me. No process of claim is providing.
              Such a poor service
              Please resolve else i will sue you guys in court and insurance ombusdment

                As per the instruction i have downloaded your so called il take care app & made complaint through this. For one week it was noticed that when i am tracking my claim it was appearing that inspection completed and repair approval given - yes. (I am attaching a screen shot of this for ready reference). Th to my surprise when i have checked the app today morning it is noticed that there is no active claim....

Moto08597914 company se claim reject kar diya gaya hai jabki maine sare related documents fir company me submit kiye par koi sunwai nahi hu. Wo log claim dene se mana kar rahe hai. Maine bahut mushkil se paisa jod ke bike liya tha aur wo chori ho gaya. Kripya kar ke mujhe bataye mai kya karu ki mujhe mera insurance claim mil jaye.

                Thak gaya hu complain kar kar ke customer care par magar koi sunwayi nahi ki gayi.

                It has been noted that the vehicle was purchased on Apr 01, 2019 & the same was not registered till the date of loss which was on Apr 02, 2019. This is violation of policy terms & condition & MV Act which states No person shall drive any motor vehicle and no owner of a motor vehicle shall cause or permit the vehicle to be driven in any public place or in any other place unless the vehicle is registered in accordance with Motor Vehicles Act 1988 section 39.

                In the circumstance, it is therefore, informed that the above captioned claim as made by you hereby stands as "Rejected" as per our policy terms and conditions.

                We anticipate your understanding in this matter and assure you best of our services.

                As you said it is violence of your policy but someone purchase new motor vehicle and take that home and in front of home got stolen. Where is the violation like it stolen from from of home, did not take at any public place. I don't have so much to purchase new bike. It's now 1 year 2 month completed from stolen date, did not purchase new or second hand bike due to lack of money.

                  Dear sir,

                  I took one loan from m/s cashe online cash loan portal in nov'19, the loan was sanctioned and at the same time, i took income protection insurance from icici lombard, in that if i lost my job, the insurance company will give me 6 emis claim for the same. But now when i lost my job and i claim, insurance company raised new rule which is neither in policy nor they told me at the time of insurance. Due to this hidden rule, company is rejecting my claim. Request you to please look into this matter and please help me to solve this and get my claim.

                    Res. Sir,
                    I purchased a credit card from ICICI bank and they made it mandatory for me to purchase a health insurance policy of icici lombard, and 6009 Rs was deducted from my credit card balance.I dont want to avail this policy .
                    And this is a cheating, how can they force people and make it mandatory.Please help me in cancelling this Policy.

I have paid my premium in the month of october 2019. But my policy is not yet linked. I have given my car for repairs in shivkrupa wolkswagen show room nasik from 8 days. They are not doing the work since the policy is not linked. Concerned person of icici lombard mr baviskar [protected] and mr borekar [protected] are not responding.                           While purchasing policy icici representative told me that i will get road side services. So i bought policy for 3 years. But when i require their road side service they denied to help me. Now they said that according to my policy road side services can't be provided. I m middle of road & my money & time fully wanted.                             I bought a car from a friend and when the policy renewal came they told me to do the payment and we will get the endorsement and change the name of the policy on my name.. From 25 dec 2019 i am struggling to change the name of the policy holder. They are just playing arround with me. Twice they did the inspection of the vehicle which was told to me that it is not required when renewing. Thye are cheating the customers please dont believe the icici lombard agents they are not trustworthy. My grievance number is[protected]

                                I got a call from glaxy toyta in october for the renewal of my car insurance policy mrs divya and i gave a chk for the same a policy was issued number til/10593125 on behalf of the same.. Yesterday night i met with a serious accident in which almost left front is gone, and i went to toyta for claim where i got to know that my policy is lased due to chk bounce.. We were ot informed about the same.. We could have made payment.. Know they says that it will be fresh issued with all new survey.. I have been using policy last 5 year.. But know i am stuck, why cant they revive the policy, as its a major accident please help me out looking for a solution at your end

                                  My car is in the garage for over a month after a severe accident. After inspection it was found that the ac isn't working and later on after diagnosis turned out that the fidc sensor is damaged hence the compressor isn't switching on.

                                  The icici lombard surveyer shubham tyagi was initially asked to come and inspect and he said that this particular item cannot be approved as it might have been malfunctioning already prior to accident. I was informed about this development and after much discussion shubham told me that i need to provide proof that the ac was working before accident.
                                  Owing to his demand, i had to obtain the service invoice from the garage where i had the service done few months ago. I shown the invoice to shubham as well as km motors too and i was assured by garage that it will now be approved.

                                  However, the next day when i enquired about it i was told that area manager sumit kumar isn't approving it and i myself need to talk to him. I contacted sumit shortly after and he told me that it can't be approved because fatc sensor is electrical component and since there isn't any mechanical damage to it hence it can't be approved.

                                  Are you getting the paradox here? One serveyer says it can't be approved because he suspects the ac wasn't working even before accident and when i show the proof for same, another one says it can't be approved because it's not covered under policy.

                                  I was unable to comprehend this logic, all i know is my ac was working well before accident and it stopped working afterwards for whatever reasons i expected it to be covered. I am paying 120 rupees per day for parking ever since the incident occurred and it's been over a month but you guys are quibbling over minor technicality of policy wording on electrical component.

                                  To make the matter even worse, when i contacted customer care to register complaint against these two fellows shubham tyagi and sumit kumar, i asked what does the policy say in this matter then the guy on the phone told me he isn't aware of the policy and that i have to follow what the serveyer says.

                                  Are you kidding me? When you sell the policy you seem to know everything but when it comes to service you want us to be on mercy of the serveyer?

                                    Dear Team, In follow up calls of this renewal, i happen to speak to some Mr Ranjit today morning. He called me from the landline number [protected] and was very unprofessional and rude .This is just to let you guys know that such kind o[censored]nprofessional and un cooperative people are shame on ICICI Lombard.They don't have their prestige and neither are they worried about the company profile nor the customers loyalty.
                                    In today's world where the consumers have various opportunities its' only our behavior which keeps our clintage intact.
                                    Incidence:My health policy is due for renewal and was supposed to be extended to 50 Lacs/-My medical tests were done and i asked Ms Savita to provide me the reports of the test.This gentle man, Mr Jitendra calls me and says he can't share the report before renewal because what if i don't take the policy later?I told him i myself is a doctor in Maxhealthcare and i dont need you reports to run away with them when i m such an old customer.He said he has thee approval.I asked how am i suppose to know that? Can you share that apporval?but without any further discussion and understanding, he said that ill have to come to his office and then i said for a simple thing which i can get online also.He said you can't get it online and was very rude and slammed the phone telling you may go and get your renewal on line.

                                    Just to bring to your kind attention:
                                    SLAMMING PHONE ON FACE IS LIKE SLAPPING ON FACE.IS THIS THE CULTURE OF ICICI LOMBARD EXECUTIVES TO SPEAK WITH THEIR OLD CLIENTS/THIS NEEDS TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY AND SUCH KIND OF EMPLOYEES SHOULD BE THROWN OUT THE SYSTEM!
                                    Awaiting earlier response .As my policy is due for renewal of 10th and i may now choose Max Bupa or Apollo Munich if i don't get a satisfactory reply and due apologies.
