I was using Idea Broadband services year back in 2015. After few months o[censored]se, I got tired of Network issues and told Idea Customer Care representative to close my Idea account since I will not be using it anymore. She said I need to pay due amount on my account. I paid it online and then again called customer care representative to check if any dues are left. They said No. So I asked them to close my account. I got confirmation via email and SMS also that the account is closed (attached screenshot)
Now after one year, I am receiving an email saying some amount is due and you need to do settlement at Lok-nyayalaya. Below is email I recieved;
