With due respect I want to bring to your kind notice that unauthorized construction for commercial purpose is made by SRI VINOD YADAV s/o Late Ganesh Yadav R/O Madhubani P/S Bairia Distt Ballia at railway land at suremanpur railway station area. It is causing great inconvenience to villagers and may cause accidents. No any interference by ASM Suremanpur and police chowki incharge Suremanpur Kalimata Mandir in this matter.

    Dear Sir,
    I hereby, bring to your kind attention that AC -3&AC-2 coaches are horrible in Sialdah-Amritsar Akaltakht Express(2317/2318).Cockroaches and mice move about freely in the coaches.Is RAILWAYS so inefficient that it cannot arrange for cleanliness & hygiene at least in AC coaches? Also, I would like to tell u that birth lights are not in working condition in AC-2 coaches. Will u please arrange 4 it and oblige your customers?

    Dear Sir,
    All this points for South Eastern Railway in West Bengal :
    1> More local train is required for Howrah - Midnapur as frequency is now 1 hour and sometimes more.
    2> As the Howrah - Midnapur jurney is 3 hrs so toilet is required.
    3> As Kharagpur is declared as a industrial zone but there is poor service in train.As the maximum Employees service here in 3 x 8 ( 24 hrs ) shifts, so after 22 hours Midnapur-Howrah local train to be introduced.
    4> Double line is required for Kharagpur - Midnapur section with a rail Bridge in Kansai Nadi.
    5> Kansai Halt station to be made a permanent Station as the Minapur City is expanded.
    6> In Kharagpur there is a lot of vacant space of railways, if rail can build flat with private partnership it will be helpful for commom people as max company has no housing for their Employees.
    7> More gallopping local is required and it should be stopped at Santragachi station in up / down jurney.
    Hi,

    Today morning at 7.00 AM I went to drop my niece at the old delhi railway station, after a great difficulty I managed to find car parking in gandhi maidan (yes there is no car parking inside the station). After that I went to buy platform ticket and after standing in a que for almost 20 mnts I was told to go to a different counter (No12), when I went to this counter there was no one sitting at that time and the only counter open was the Ladies from where men were also buying the tickets. It must be around 7.30 AM by that time and the duty changed. when my turn came and I asked for the platform ticket, this man started behaving in a rudely manner and started abusing me saying that I am standing in a ladies que to get fun etc and etc. and he will put me in jail. It was very humiliating and have decided never to take the Indian railways. I hope you take proper action against such illetrate, highly impolite emplyees I will appreciate if you can call me for identification of this man who misbehaved and the department takes necessary action against such employees who have no accountibilty and decency to talk to people.

      This is to inform you that my E-ticket Refunds ( details mentioned below) has not been credited to my credit Card Card account despite of submitting the TDR's and request letter well within stipulated time to appropriate offices and regular follow ups every week.

      Even this is dully acknowledged and then requested by Mr V P Indoria – Sr Consultant IRCTC, New Delhi wide his letter nos. 2003/IRCTC/ERTD/Refunds dtd 6/12/2007. This letter from IRCTC clearly mentions that the applicant has applied and submitted all the relevant documents in time and the e-tickets refunds due to him should be considered.

      Despite of this, it appears that there is non-compliance of the order of IRCTC E-Ticket Refunds Branch letter nos: . 2003/IRCTC/ERTD/Refunds dtd 6/12/2007.

      May I sincerely request you to pls look in the matter and do the needful to actuate the refunds due to me at the earliest and oblige.

      I was supposed to travel from New-Delhi to Baroda on 31/5/2007 ( we were a group of 19 family friends supposed to travel by 2952 Rajdhani Express ) but the train was cancelled on that day because of the Riots / Track damages caused due by ongoing Rajasthan Gurjar Riots at that point of time... I deposited all my Six E-Tickets at Hazrat Nizamuddin Raliway Station and obtained a TDRs. Out of this SIX TDR's I am fortunate that I have received Refunds for Three TDR's.

      The TDRs for E-Tickets were then forwarded to Chief Commercial manager – Refunds, New Delhi on 7/6/2007 by Registered Post.

      Since, the destination station of my travel falls under Western Zone, the TDR's were forwarded to Chief Commerical Manager – Refunds, Mumbai.

      Indian Railways (Western Railway) — Not refunding cancelled ticket amount

      I had cancelled my ticket from Vadodara to Mumbai - travel for 14th March, 2008 by 3T A/c by Navjivan Express Train Number 2655. The cancellation was done by me at Vadodara and Surrender Receipt issues to me is 431100 dated 4th March, 2008. Thereafter I have sent reminders on 5th March, 2008, 12th April, 2008 and 30th April, 2008 to Chief Commercial Manager, Refunds, WEstern Railway, Churchgate Station, Mumbai but they have bothered to either refund my money or reply to me. The amount involved is Rs 2309/-. I am a senior citizen living solely on pension income and I find this delay is causing substantial financial and mental stress to me.

      I Booked my ticket From Mumbai to New Delhi, via AUG KR RAJ EXP, 2953(24-MAY-2008).
      I was ready for Journey, Unfortunately train is cancelled by Railway because of "Gurjar Aandolan ( in Rajesthan)."
      I was on Official tour for New India Assurance Co. Ltd (A Govt. of India Enterprise).
      Now i need the "Proof of train Cancelation" from your side, to provide the proof to my Head Office for Full Fare Compansation from my Company.
      So please provide the Proof of cancellation of train in written.
      i booked one rail ticket for my journey of dated 14.06.2008 vides train no. 2953 from Surat to Hazratnizamuddin through irctc website in Tatkal Quota.

      When I reached Surat station to board, I came to know train is cancelled, and there I enquired by railway person, he told me that ticket amount shall be debited in my account automatically. Since amount is still not debited in my account hence I request you to please help in this regard and arrange to debit same amount in my account.

      Dear Sir,

      My name is ARVIND ADALJA, Aged, 69, residing at Jamnagar. On 9th, July, 2008, I wanted to go to Jamnagar as I was at Ahmedabad for few days for some work. I went to Station for getting Reservation Ticket for Jamnagar at about 4pm as I wanted to travel by INTER CITY for Surat to Jamnagar in 1st class. I filled in the form for the purpose and submitted to issue me ticket on reservation window for the purpose. But with my surprise I was told by the booking official that there is no provision to make any reservation in1st class in the aforesaid train
      .So, I asked him then what is to be done by me to get ticket? He advised me to buy from CURRENT TICKET WINDOW .I went there stayed in queue for about ½ hour and I asked the person to issue me 1st class ticket for Jamnagar under Senior Citizen concession .Surprisingly, he also expressed his inability to issue ticket for 1st class for the train referred here above. I asked him then please let me know who will issue me ticket? He advised me to buy ordinary ticket for 2 class and get it UPGRADED in the train by the Conductor.
      As my going to Jamnagar was pre planned and there was no time to go any other authority to understand the norms for issuing tickets for 1st class in the aforesaid train I accepted the advise and bought 2 class ticket from him under senior citizen concession.
      Then after the arrival of the train I met the conductor who was accompanying to the 1st class coach to make my ticket UP Graded under senior citizen which he refused stating that he is not empowered to issue such ticket and I have to pay FULL amount of Rs.410/- (four hundred ten only) if at all I want to travel by 1st class. Though, I was much shocked and taken a back with the norms of railway I left no alternative but to pay as asked for upgrading my ticket and accordingly I paid him Rs.410/- and he upgraded my ticket., a copy of which is enclosed here with for your perusal Voucher No 313052 along with the original ticket which was issued on the window is also submitted its no .is 9252 for Rs.58/-.
      From the for going you will observe that there is no fault of mine as whatever I asked was accordingly to the norms of railway is made known to the public. Under the circumstances may I know where the travelers have to go particularly senior citizen like me where(1) Reservation not made for 1st class, (2) current booking do not issue ticket for 1st class under sr. citizen category and height of that even(3) conductor in the running train also do not have authority to upgrade the ticket under sr. citizen. Thus, all sr. citizens like me are DEPRIVED Of THE CONCESSION and have to pay full amount of FAIR for traveling.
      I felt more surprise as I traveled in the same train from Surat to Jamnagar on 26 th, June by 1st class and On that day I was refused issuing ticket on current booking and asked me to go to RESERVATION COUNTER to get the ticket reserved.
      And it was issued to me by reservation clerk.
      Is not all contrary to railways norms besides UNFAIR, UNJUST and UNILITERAL and against the normal NORMS fixed for sr. citizen concession?
      I hope you will appreciate my concern in the matter and REFUND the AMOUNT Rs.123/- at 30% of the ticket issued to me by upgrading the same to me allowing me under sr. citizen concession and the amount may be sent at your cost by Demand draft or Money order to the aforesaid address at an early date.
      Awaiting anxiously your response in the matter and hope you will not compelled me to lodge complaint before Consumers grievances redresser forum at Jamnagar.

      Well I must tell you that the Cancellation of E-Tickets on irctc is just the formalities and no refund is being done. as an example, I booked a Ticket for dated 02nd Nov 2007. I somehow missed the train and cancelled the ticket in the nearby Internet Cafe. I am still following the mail. I have received documents from irctc stating that my request has been forwarded to India Railway for the procedure. Its 10 months since then and I am still enquiring about the refund with the officials with no result. I request you to kindly get my refund done as soon as possible.

      Indian Railway — NO REFUND AT DESTINATION SATATION

      I Sanjib Chaudhary & my wife have boarded train no. 3287 from Bilaspur Jn (BSP) to Hatidha Jn (HTZ) on 09.11.2008 with a confirm ticket 2nd AC ticket. But after boarding, it was told by TT that we have been adjusted in 3rd AC coach due to unavailability of bearth in 2nd AC. Accordingly we got adjusted in 3rd AC and TT has made a certificate for refund of difference amount of 2nd AC w.r.t 3rd AC and asked to collect refund amount from HTZ Jn.

      Accordingly after reaching HTZ Jn. at 05:00 AM, I approached ticket counter to collect my refund money but as per then it can only be collected after opening of reservation counter after 08:00AM. So I went home which is 35 KM away from HTZ Jn. Again I came back at 09:00 AM to collect my refund amount and produced my ticket & certificated issued by TT, but at reservation counter they refused to refund the same and told that we don’t known about this. Then I approached Station Master, he also told the same thing. After this harassment I came back from HTZ Jn. without getting my refund amount.

      This is really painful and shocking for me that in the same organization there is such a wide gap o[censored]nderstanding and lack of knowledge of rules. I am working as an executive in Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., which is multi locational and this type of gap is never seen in our company.

      between 23.15pm to 23.50 ... most of people working in banglore prefers only available train bangalore mail in which its very difficult to get reservation...ppl hang out side the unreserve compartment ...which oneday will lead to a very big tragedy or accident...so kindly take my sencire request and make a note to higher offical regarding this complaint
      I am writing this mail about the refund of the money that I paid to buy tickets from Delhi to Rourkela and also the return journey.
      I booked two tickets for train no-8478/Utkal express/3AC PNR Number:[protected] for the date 07th July 2008 paying an amount of 2296+30(an additional amount for booking tickets).And I booked two return tickets for train no-8477/Utkal express/3AC PNR Number:[protected] for the 10th July 2008 paying an amount of 2296+30(an additional amount for booking tickets).
      The train however got cancelled but I didn't receive my money back till now. I filled the TDR (Ticket Deposit Receipt) form number: 923129 on 7th July 2008(same day) at 13:00 hrs .After coming to Bangalore I have sent the TDR form again to the address given below.

      It is waste of time and money both to go to the railway enquiry again and again in Bangalore & Delhi. I already wasted a lot of time & money in enquiring but didn't have any response yet, as there is no one in the railways department who can tell me exactly what is happening. The most common answer which I get from railways is that "it’s under processing”. I am fed up of hearing these words.
      What kind of processing you do let me also know that it take several months & years to transfer the refund amount?

      Railways — Ticket Refund - Due to Tain Cancellation

      Hi

      This is regarding ticket cancellation for the tickets issued using Smart Card.

      I issued 3 tickets from a Smart Card Machine on 12th April 09 at 09:46 am from Kalyan to Vasai Road (via Diva), ATVM Ticket # 9347. After reaching Kopar, we were informed that the train for Vasai was cancelled due to some work. We had a talk with the Kopar Station Master and he informed that Kalyan Station respective department was already informed of the train cancellation the earlier night and even after that they were issuing tickets. Also, there was no announcements made in Kalyan that the train was cancelled. He asked us to either use the ticket to go via Dadar or get the ticket cancelled from Kalyan.

      We came back to Kalyan and talked with the Kalyan Station Master Mr. S B Singh and he agreed for a full refund to be given on the ticket. He marked the same on the ticket and asked us to collect the refund from the ticket counter. At the ticket counter, we were directed to some other window everytime we went to some window for refund. Ultimately, they refused to provide a refund as the tickets were issued using a smart card. I went back to the station master and he also mentioned that since the ticket was issued using a smart card, refund is not possible. I wasted more than an hour in all this.

      Can something be done about this? Ideally, the tickets should not be allowed to be issued even from the Smart Card Machine. Also, why did the station master signed for refund and then his signature was not respected at the counter.

      My brother Sri.vV.CHANDRASEKARAN booked tickets for my family and his family from CHENNAI TO DURG on 25.12.2008. Due to some problem one of the passenger Smt.N.P.LAKSHMI LATHA(wife of my brother) was not travelled with us.So we got a FORM OF CERTIFICATE FOR LESS NUMBER OF PERSONS TRAVELLING(ceritificate 'A' for granting refund) from TTE and that certificate number is 162421 dated 25.12.2008. We gave a letter to MADURAI RAILWAY AUHORITIES for refund in the month of JAN'09, till date we have not received any refund from the officials of MADURAI RAILWAY.       Sir,

      I had to cancel the e ticket for my journey from Chakki Bank to Indore by 2920 Malwa Exp., dtd 25/05/09 as the train was cancelled due to riots in Punjab (PNR No. [protected] / Transaction Id [protected]). A TDR for refund was filed on 02/06/09 (Ref No ekt[protected]).

      More than 120 days have passed but I have not received the refund amount.

      Sir,

      I am Mr. Anup kumar chowdhury, 64 years old from Burdwan, West Bengal. I went to Vellore CMC hospital to check up my left leg (plastic surgery) on 12th December, 2009. I planned to travel from Vellore to Visakapattanam on 16th December by Yaswantpur express (Train No 2864). That’s why I bought the confirmed ticket for me and my wife at two months ago on the said date by Yaswantpur express. The train should had left the vellore station on 16th December at 11:45 pm according to my confirmed ticket. But Railway management changed the timetable between that period and I was not informed regarding the new timetable. So I was totally unaware about the new timetable. As per my ticket I reached the vellore station according to the train scheduled which was printed onto my ticket.

      Now I want to share my horrible and sad experience with the prestigious railway organization. As per my confirmed ticket I go into my reservation coach (S6) on the scheduled date and time. My PNR no was[protected]. The TTE started badly behave since we (me and my wife) go into the coach. The TTE told us that we have to give the fine amount of Rs. 1600/- ASAP. Then we showed up the TTE our confirmed ticket again and again. But the TTE did not listen to us a single word. Even the TTE rudely told us that you have to give me the fine amount otherwise I will push both of you from the running train. We told the TTE that I do not want to give you the fine amount as I have my confirmed ticket and also Railway did not inform me about the new timetable which is12: 30 AM instead of 11:45 PM.

      As I earlier said you that I was returning from the Vellore CMC hospital after checking up my left leg (plastic surgery) with my wife. Unnecessarily we had to face the remarkable trouble while traveling by the train. Finally we had to pay the unjustified fine amount of Rs. 800/- to the TTE.

      Now the saddest thing is that the TTE did not arrange us a single seat while traveling. We had to spend the long journey of 15 hours in front of the toilet door without sleeping and seat. Now sir, what will be your comment after knowing my bad experience with the railway organization? Probably I don’t know how many passengers have been suffering like us on daily basis.

      Now the conclusion is that you can not return me anything apart from the fine amount and reservation charges. That’s why I want to claim of Rs. 800/- plus the reservation charges with interest from the prestigious railway organization ASAP. Please reimburse my claim.


      Hopefully we will get justice from our prestigious Railway organization. Expecting my claim ASAP. If you want to know any other information apart from this please let me know through the email.

      Before boarding from Howrah station I enquired at Enquiry Counter twice whether the train would travel through Patratu Station since it was learnt sometimes the said train was plying bypassing Patratu. But each time they confirmed it would follow its normal route through Patratu station.

      At Dhanbad Station it was learnt the train would not go to Patratu and I had to drop at Dhanbad.
      Now my questions are :

      1. Why it was not announced at originating station the route of its plying ?
      2. Why the TTE on duty did not make me alert to drop at Dhanbad?
      3. Why Dhanbad booking counter / Station Manager refused me to refund Rly Fare from Dhanbad to Patratu?

      I think you will understand the difficulties of a Sr. Citizen Female Passenger traveling alone and faced the above cited problems.

      However, I again claim to refund the Railway Fare from Dhanbad to Patratu at the earliest.

      Sub: NEGLIGENCE ON THE PART OF TICKET RESERVATION CLERK.

      Sir,

      On 20 October, 2010 at 6.45 PM, I approached Ticket Reservation Window with a requisition form which was manned by Mr.Surinder Singh at Anand Vihar Railway Station for reserving a ticket from UNA HIMACHAL TO DELHI clearing mentioning the Date of Travel 14.11.2010 on the Reservation Requisition Form. But, the Reservation Clerk issued the ticket No.15606005, bearing PNR No.[protected] mentioning the Date of Travel 19.11.2010 (photocopy enclosed). The particulars of the ticket could not be verified at the spot due to poor carbon printing and were then verified after reaching the home with the help of glass due to age factor.

      On 21 October, 2010 at 11.30 AM, I again approached the same window at Anand Vihar Railway Station which was manned by one Mr.Tarun Behl. The mistake in question was brought to the notice of Mr.Tarun Behl who in turn verified the above mentioned facts from the requisition form and shown the same to the undersigned where the date of travel was clearly mentioned as 14.11.2010. But, Mr.Tarun Behl was helpless to do any thing in this matter since neither Chief Reservation Officer nor Mr.Surinder Singh were available.

      It is understood that had Chief Reservation Officer been available at the time of reserving the ticket on 21.10.2010, ticket for 14.11.2010 could have been issued without levying cancellation charges Rs.40/- to me.

      In view of the foregoing, kindly make arrangements to refund Rs.40/- + Conveyance Charges Rs.100/- and issue instructions to the concerned as deemed fit.

      Indian Railways — Train Cancelled but railway didn't pay back money

      I booked a ticket for 14the July from Hyderabad to Chengannur in Shabari Express on July 13the 2011in online. During thee Telangana Bandh, train got cancelled from Hyderabad and its journey started from Guntur. When I contacted customer care on 14the morning theey informed me theat no need to file TDR and train got cancelled, so railway will refund thee money. Even theat also i filed TDR. But yesterday i got a mail from IRCTC says theat you are not eligible to get money. Please find thee below mail and attached TDR details

        Sirs, w.r.t fare concessions for PHCs in rail travel:
        at some stations clerks deny to issue tickets while at some
        stations issues. Due to fear of missing the train we forced
        to procure general tickets. Even comply the rule laid in
        Appendix 1/36, concession form why the ticket clerks deny.
        Please help to deal the situation.

        I samanta kumar moharana a Kidney transplant patient (nadiad) travel Dt. 1/04/09.with my concession of railway concession certificate but at Bhusabal 11.20 a.m., a senior railway officer (special sqard) said that this certificate is only for a dialisis patient & not for me, and said leave train right now or paid Rs.4000/- beacause I travel in 2AC berth no. 15,

        I would like to know Is it my Fult or the officer of railway or the hospital authority, Please help

          Purposely or purpertly Indian Railways "contact us" section does not work. There is no section where Feedback is collected or place to provide suggestions. Hence request to add those sections and Railway ministry to publish actions taken with respect to those feedbacks and suggestions.

          i want to complain about the reality happen in the indian railway. i want to inform you that the station bhatapara is situated in the raipur district of chattisgarh it is 45 km away from bilaspur zone . in this station in the reservation booking office the time is very limited due to small business.but i want to inform you that every ime the outer person(which can work as dalal o we say commisiontaker on every ticket) can operate the computer of the booking office of railway and the officer of the booking office can go to drink tea or taking breakfast at the office time. they do not provide the form or reservation to ordinary person easily and the behaviour is also very bad and as i
          know that the outer person is not allowed officialy so please take action against them. when i go to reservation counter in 12th march hey cannot give me form and advice me contact he dalal when i told them i can complaint on railway then the give me form but we want lower seat fo the old lady they can give me upper birth they told me that lower birth is not avilable but from other station i can get the lower birth and at that place they told me that all lower seat is avilable when i go to bhatapara counter and told me the officer tha wh you do not give me lower birth then he told that for this you have to give rs 100 extra if you want from his counter other counter are differentso please and please take strict action against them specially mr. soni.

          Reg.: Robberry held during travelling from Kollam Junction Railway Station (Kerala State) to Surat Railway Station.

          We, the whole members like: 1) Binu B. Pillai aged 29 years, 2) Miss. Krishna T. Pillai aged 13 years, 3) Mrs. Vijayamma aged 54 years, 4) Mrs. Divya aged 24 years 5) Mrs. Bindu aged 35 years were in a travelling from Kollam Junction (Kerala state) to Surat Station (Gujarat state) on 19.05.2008.

          The entire fact of the case are as follows:-

          We, all are belongs to Kollam District, Kerala state, and for our service purpose, since last 8 years residing in Surat only with family. Therefore in each school summer vacations, to see the parents and other dears and nears we are going to Kerala constantly.

          In this summer vacation also, we left kerala in the first week of May 2008 with whole family. Then the return ticket was for 19.05.2008. Accordingly we have left our Home at Kerala on 19.05.2008 in the evening for catching the train to be departed at 16.20 from Kollam Junction. The Train started at 16.20 (Train departed from Kollam Junction), Our seats were in the Coach No. S-9 at Seat Nos. 17, 18, 20, and Coach No. S-1 at Seat Nos. 9 & 10 respectively. We were 5 Baggages where in 2 baggages (briefcases) were with heavy valuables such as Gold ornaments for a weighment of 160 Grams for a Present market value Approx. for Rs. 2, 00, 000/- (Rupees Two Lacs only), also Cash Rs. 5000/-, Original PAN issued by ITO, Cheque book issued by ICICI bank, Athwagate Branch, Surat containing 12 leaves and Original Election commission card (of my sister Mrs. Bindu Pillai) issued by Election Commissioner office, Surat.

          We have travelled usually in the train without any inconvenience and we have reached very safely upto Navsari Station and from there, the next main Station is Surat Railway station only. Thereafter, departure of the train from Navsari Station, for our better convenience for delighting to the station, we have taken all the luggages from our specified seats to the nearest to the door steps. At this juncture, at 3.00 am (Approx) on 21.05.2008 in the early morning, some (about 5 gents) fellows approached to the same door steps where we were stayed and were deliberately made some problems in order to get them plenty of space for getting them down to the station easily. However, according to their convenience they themselves changed our baggages here and there slightly. Then, after 30 to 40 Minutes, train arrived at Surat Station and we have got down and left for our Home at Bhestan, Surat. We feel that in this short time, they might be stolen the ornaments and other valuables as specified above from our baggages.

          When reached at the home and opened the luggages we realized that the valuable ornaments and other entirely were missed. Rest of all the things such as cloths and other articles was there. Accordingly, we have informed the facts to the Surat Railway Police Station. A copy of the complaint submitted is attached herewith for your kind reference and perusal.

          We came to know such several instances from our neighbours in Surat, those whose are lost valuables during the journey from Kerala to Surat recently, that incidences are also in similar type.

          In view of the above, we feel that the culprits are may be same fellows behind it for all such robberies.

          Therefore our request is particularly relevant that, you may please be taken immediate action in this regards to get back the ornaments missed and also to take precautions in order to avoid such incidences to the passengers in future.

          This is the detail matter.
          I was coming to samalkot by this train from Bhubaneswar.
          I am new to this journey and told same to T.T.E.
          It was supposed to reach Samalkot by 12.00 night.
          after Tuni, it is around 01.00 A.M. i enquired from T.T.E
          at what time it will reach Samalkot, he told it will
          take 1.0 hour more. i repeat my enquire again and showed
          my watch to tell by what time it may reach there. he
          told 1.0 hr.then i went to my berth and took rest.
          by around 1.25 A.M samalkot appears. I got up and enquired
          near by people, they told it is samalkot. Immediately i rushed
          to T.T.E for telling to halt the train for another few minutes.
          But alas i didn't find him.by that time the train starts running.
          with no other idea, how to get down from train, i pulled the chain.
          after that i met the T.T.E at wake up state from sleep and
          i informed him about my act.it is also again the boggie was
          fulled with un authorised persons sleeping at the door front
          which added to me worsen state to get down.
          then i appeared in police (R.P.F) and wrote a note and they put a
          case against me and i gave Rs.500/-for compensations.

          Please suggest me what i can take action
          against this issue. i am not in a stable state of mind
          due to what happened last night.

          Railway people are behaving rudely against the customers who came for ticket reservation. Mannerism should be taught to these people before deputing to this service. As Gandhi said, customer is the king. But here these people are behaving as if they are the super king.

          We traveled recently to cochin from Hyderabad both in 3rd A/C and 2nd A/c. The mintainance of the comparment is very bad. When the train travel for a long journer the toilets has to be cleaned once in 5 or 6 hrs. in the station where it stay for long time. The toilets were not clean. And the main complaint of the A/C coaches is there is lot of cockroaches in the comparment which distrub us in all the way and also it leads to illness to the passengers. The comparment has to be maintained clean in such a way that passengers should feel comfortable. Hence the Railway deparment has to take care in this matter so that public cannot suffer.

          This is towards problem of disposing of mineral water empty bottles. I suggest you :

          that social forestry purchase polethene bags for growing plants and sell/plant them after grwoth.
          If railway collect all empty bottles and give them to social forestry deprtment after cutting approximate 3" from cap/neck side and plants can easily be grown as a pot. Thease bottled will be used and problem will be solved.

          in general public a awareness may be send through media and ads so generel public can also use them as plant pot and keep them on their roof.

          Thus a big problem may be solved.

          The same message can also work for all other type of bottles like cold drinks and other posing threat to
          public health.

          We peoples(TamilNadu Guys) in Hyderabad want one or two trains extra from Hyderabad to Coimbatore with low travel time. From Hyderabad to Coimbatore there was 2 private volvo buses are there, which reaches coimbatore within 15 hours. But train journey takes 21 to 22 hours to reach Coimbatore. So Please provide extra train with less travel time.
          General people are not allowed in reservation class coach. Toilet should be neat and clean.
          railways is trying 2 b pretty generous by allowing passes 2 people for certain category of class of people .
          but actually giving it to people 2 whom this facility really matter much

          EKTA EXPRESS 4795/96Ekta Express 4975 - The Great Difficulty Express
          The Ekta express has been the great difficulty express for the people of the Bhiwani, Rohtak, Gohana, Panipat districts of Haryana. It is a train with the burden to carry 1000's of daily pessengers, families, bussinessmen, students and tourists travelling between Bhiwani and Chandigarh. The major problem is that train is linked to Himalyan Queen Express in its common route from Panipat to Kalka. We understand that it may be saving the running costs but the share for the Bhiwani/Rohtak side passengers is way less. We have got only 5 general boggies for our share, whereas only one train runs from Bhiwani to Chd and Chd to Bhiwani in a day. Dehli, Chandigarh is linked to with many a trains and it would be great if Ekta Express is expanded to accomodate more pessengers. Ac-Sleeper coaches would be a great advantage for senior citizens, bussiness class, families and tourists. Their may be considered a fesibilty to run the train independently as it can than be run on its own saving the half an hour delay at the Panipat station as per the linkage of two trains.
          This is also an appeal to people travelling on this route, to please comment and raise a voice for the betterment of the railways in the district.
          We would be thankfull to Indian Railways if our problem is considred for the feasibility surveys

          All Nurses and Doctors are rude, never speak politely, always replied rudely to the petients , even never speak to their attendent also, kindly give instructions to them at least to speak politely
          I have transplant my kidney in applo hospital.New delhi on 12/03/2012 and issued concession certificate for railway journey when I go to raja ki mandi railway station, at agra.Your reservation supervivor mr. Nirmal gupta never cooperate and always says that the certificate issued from applo hospital is totally bocus and fraud and always using abusive language with rude behaviour. He also misguide to other staffs also and never sit own counter. You please take very serious action because he is loosing the goodwill of indian railway.             Last Friday whilst boarding the Ferozepur Janata train from Mumbai Central, i was surprised that the entire non-reservation compartments were occupied by touts/goondas directly from the yard. They sold the seats at Rs.20 to Rs.30/- per seat and misbehehaved and roughly handled, physically and verbally abused the people who refused to pay. Not a single person was spared including a old woman and a pregnant one. All this whilst members of the Railway police force looked on as silent spectators. Is this the India we dream of where a decent train seat would also be have to paid for to goondas??? It seems this is a very common method of extortion and will grow worse during the vacation period. The rail ministry-Mr. Lalu Prasad- and all those concerned should act on this with immediate effect before things get out of hand and some poor fellow has to suffer or loose his life.

            Indian railways sold tickets more than seats available in the general compartments i don't know why they go on that train without having seats in general compartments please stop that type of practise some times they loose their lives in footboard journey.I tried to 3rd DEC, 2011 secunderabad to narsapur express in general compartment but i didn't get stand on the general compartments so return to my home with loss of my ticket.

              On 09/03/2008 at around 14:05 pm, I went to purchase three tickets for Howrah at Sheoraphuli station.

              I asked the booking clerk - “Please give me three Tickets for Howrah. One ticket should be separate”. I gave one Rs. 100 note inside the window as the payment of fare.

              The booking clerk was busy in his work. At the same time it was announced that Down Burdwan Local is coming at Platform No. 5.

              I again asked the booking clerk – “Please do hurry since the announcement has already been made for Burdwan local.”

              The booking clerk said – “No problem, I am giving three separate tickets.”

              I said – “Ok”

              The booking clerk said – “You need to give me two rupees more.”

              I asked – “Why? This should be Rs. 42 only.”

              The booking clerk asked – “Where do you want to go?”

              I replied – “Howrah.”

              The booking clerk said – “But you have asked tickets for Burdwan.”

              I asked – “No, No, I asked the tickets for Howrah. I just told you to do hurry since the Down Burdwan Local has been announced since you did not pay attention just after my query.”

              The booking clerk said – “No you are wrong, you did not ask me the ticket for Howrah.”

              I said – “Please understand my problem. Other passengers are waiting to catch the Down Burdwan Local.”

              He was silent. I again repeated: “Ok Please give me another three tickets for Howrah. Please also give me the tickets for Burdwan which you have wrongly issued for me. You please inform me your name so that I could refer your name while I’ll approach for refund to Railway authority.”

              The booking clerk angrily said: - “You come inside the room. I’ll inform you my name inside the room”

              I asked – “When I am remitting you the full charges and you feel that you are not guilty then why you would not like to inform me your name.”

              The booking clerk said: - “You come inside and give me a note that you have asked tickets for Burdwan, and then I’ll inform you my name. Could you give me this? Do not be very smart.”

              I again gave him Rs. 50 and said – ‘Ok, you give me all the tickets and take full amount of fares”

              At the end of transaction the booking clerk said – “If you show your cleverness you will be in Jail (Besi chalaki korle bhitore challan kore debo)”

              Sir, I would like to register my complaint against that the clerk working in the North counter for cheating me of Rs. 102 and insulting by utilizing the government machinery. I also request you to arrange for refund of the same money alongwith justice of my respect.

              I would like to inform you that I regularly travel from Sheoraphuli to Rishra. I am a monthly ticket holder form Sheoraphuli to Howrah. I almost renew my ticket in advance.

              The tickets are attached herewith for your kind perusal.

              Railway Ticket — wrong ticket by booking clerk

              i got a ticket of break journey from sagauli to ernakulum via chennai howrah by mithila exp3022 then 2842 coromandal express, which was wrong as it should be 2841 means my 2nd ticket was from chennai to howrah.and first ticket was from sagauli to howrah.you can imagine how big mistake that was.i booked my ticket in hurry.but 1 day before journey i came to know about that mistake. i'd no option without cancelling it. by cancelling i lost my 154 rupees as cancellation charge and i missed my enternal test which was scheduled on my previous date of arrival.due to mistake by booking clerck i've lost much now iwant to complaint in consumer forum please guide me.

              I would inform you that Kafiyat Express ( a single train b/w Azamgarh and Delhi ) which is also a super fast express is not reaching it's destination (whether it is Delhi or Azamgarh) by time. However when it was not a super fast express it’s condition was satisfactory.

              There is new railway ticket booking office opened at Beta-II, Greater Noida. Probably I saw that the booking officers did not refund the full or partially balance money. Today i.e. Monday the 7th April 2008 at about 9:35am, I booked two tickets from New Delhi to Lucknow and returning ticket from Lucknow to New Delhi (Rs. 600/- + Rs. 615/- = Rs. 1215/-). I gave her (Booking officer, name not known) Rs. 1220/-, instead of returning Rs. 5/-, she told that having no change.

              It is not only me who is having such problems; there were people in the queue, who did not get the balance money back.

              I request you to look into this matter seriously, so that people do not suffer in future.

              I am regular passenger of Indian Railway since 1978 from Anand to Bharuch and Anand to Ahmedabad. I am have valid first class season ticket. My experience during the last 30 years of travelling is as under:- This Railway is under the control of Western Railway. Most of the days we are not getting seat in the First Class Compartment because of the occupation of seats by Railway employees and RPF personals who are not eligible for First Class Pass. The commericial Staff such as Clerical staff and other class IV employees are occupying the seats and playing cards etc. I want to know whether these people are eligible to travel daily without season ticket or duty pass from one destination to another. if not so why it is happening?
              Today on 17/4/2008 I was waiting for Train Number 6059 which starting from surat and to be reached at vadodara station at 3.35 P M. They have first made an announcement of right time i.e. train is reaching at the station at 3.35 sharply. at 3.35 they have again announced that the train will come at 3.45 and at 3.45 they have announced the train will come at 4.05 pm at the last the train reached at Vadodara at 4.20 pm. I want to ask you a question why the railway people are not telling the truth?

              AFTER REACHING THE TRAIN IT IS SEEN THAT THE FIRST CLASS CHAIR CAR COACH IS OCCUPIED BY 2ND CLASS PASSENGER AND THE HAVE NOT ALLOWED TO SIT BY THE GENUINE FIRST CLASS PASSENGER. NO BODY TAKEN ANY ACTION TO VACATE THE COACH
              Respected Sir,

              This letter is in regards with a totally unsatisfactory and pathetic conditions of Gomti Express ( Train No. : 2420). I was travelling on this train on 12th May, 2008 from Delhi to Lucknow. My Ticket PNR No: [protected].

              I need to bring into your notice about the cleaniness and conditions of the train. The upper seats have no provisions for locking them due to which the passengers at lower berth can't sit properly and also any time the upper berth falls down causing injury to the passengers. Secondly, after paying a charge of Rs 876 for two tier AC, passengers have to sweat due to totally ineffective air conditioners which has not been checked neither maintained for years. Even after asking the coach attendant to get the AC more effective, the poor thing was not able to do anything on this regard as the AC's mechanical failure is something which he cannot do anything. Also the second ac coaches of this particular train are so old that they dont even have plug points for charging cell phones. Thirdly, the Second AC sleeper coaches are just like normal general coaches in which anyone can get in and no one is bothered to check it. Even if teh TT comes he either takes bribe or just on friendly basis he ignnores the matter. I have already logged a complaint in the complaint book available with TT.

              Hoping some kind of attention would be given to a train like Gomti express which is one of the important trains from New Delhi to Lucknow.

The scheduled time of the above train to reach to Jodhpur (Rajasthan) is 8:00 AM and everytime the train reached to its destination by 10:00 or above 10:00 AM.
              Sir I, as a passenger request you to please make such arrangements so that the train reached to its destination on time.

              Today I booked ticket for my parents for travelling from Ambala to Bhopal by Malwa express Train no.2920 for travelling on 9th August 2008
              The age of my parennt is- 76 years & 75 years, while my mother is handicap & therfore tickets are booked under concesssional fare for3AC.
              The bearths given are B2-5 & 6, which are middle & uppor bearths.
              While my parents are old aged they have been allotted seats none of which is on lower bearth.
              Suggestion-
              1)Request to see if these berths can be changed to lower bearth both seats, as the age of both parent is above 75 years.
              2) To ensure that atleast till few days before/ exhausting the seats, the lower bearths should be reserved for the senior citizens and handicaped persons, & can be allotted at the end.

              Awaiting your reply favourably on point no1. & defenitely for point no2 to include as part of continuous improvement.

              I had suffered immense both in sense of monetary and physical due to incompetency of peoples working in Railway.
              I was travelling from Guwahati to Chennai Via New Delhi on 15/07/08. I had to make this long and arduous journey because there had been breach in Bhadrak etc.I was going to New Delhi via train no 2455 (Rajdhani) and train no 2622 (TamilNadu exp) on 16/07/08 at 10.30PM and my PNR nos was[protected] and[protected] respectively So I along with my brother boarded the special Rajdhani train(2455) leaving Guwahati at around 13 .45 hours. My PNR number was[protected] and ticket number was 84413109. My brother had a different ticket as he was in different coach. My reservation was from Guwahati to New Delhi. As such the train was on time and departed exactly at 13.45 almost. The next day we were to reach New Delhi at around 19.40 hours ie on 16/07/08. But due to some problems the Rajdhani was delayed by more then 3 hours. We reached at around 11.10PM. As such we had missed the train to Chennai due to no fault of ours. I immediately went to counter number 4 of the railway reservation at around 11.30PM to know what can be done. The officer sitting over there said that nothing can be done and the money had been wasted. Also told me to come the next day.ie on 17/07/08. So out of wits end I ended up in a hotel near the Railway station for the night along with my brother and coughing up around 1200 for the night. The very next morning I went to the railway station and went over to the counter. But to my utter disbelief the guy wouldnt help me out and yold me that it was the fault on my part that I missed the train. Noticing the hypocrisy of the peoples working in The Indian railways I made up my mind and booked a ticket through Internet on GT express to Chennai that was to depart at around 18.40 hours on 17/07/08.The PNR was [protected] and transaction id was [protected]. We were allocated seats in berth 4 and 2 of coach B2.
              I then after confirmimg my tickets to Chennai via GT express went on to meet the station master. I went to their room and met Mr Meena who told me to go to the IRCA and there is little hope that anything could be done. Nothing was done over IRCA also and I was left helpless by the railways who promises long tales everyday over the national TV. There is lot of ground reality that had to be checked by our esteemed RailwayMinister Mr LP Yadav.
              Being an educated person I myself had such a harrowing time moving from counter to counter and different rooms of the officers, and without any positive outcome. Even the enquiry peoples had little time to help me out either to refund the money or make travel arrangement to Chennai from their side.
              Next I boarded (2616)GT express along with my brother at the aloocated time. The TT checked our tickets and we finally took some rest which was very short lasting. As the train was nearing Mathura when some official of the railway came and asked us to show our photo id proof as we had booked under internet reservation. As I had misplaced my original PAN card during the long and futile day at the station I produced my XEROX ed PAN card. I explained to him everything, the ordeal we had been through but he wont listen to it and started verbal firing and abusing from his side. I told that it was the fault of railways that I had to buy another ticket and instead of letting me travel they are telling me of throwing me out. He called on the RPF who were in the train and even threatened us to throw out of the train right at that moment. The RPF men came within seconds of calling. The last option he gave us that we collect the fine amount from The GM or TSM( I couldnt get his pronounciation), at the Chennai railway station. Having only limited money I asked some amount from my cousin brother and paid an amount of Rs 3804 to him and he issued me excess fare ticket no 01-H253153.
              He left as quickly as he came along with the RPF personals. May be he got down at Mathura. Next morning we got up around 7am to 8am and I imeediately noticed that my purse was missing. The purse had the return ticket of my cousin brother from Chennai to New Delhi and from New Delhi to Guwahati along with cash of around Rs 4500.
              I tried to look amongst all of the coach but couldnt find anything. I immediately tried to inform the TTS or TTE and went on searching for him. I later found out that there were no TTS or TTE ( Whatever his designation is ) unavailable in the train. I then contacted the RPF who suggested me to get down in the next station and report my FIR to GRP. And even suggested to me that to ask my cousin brother to pull the chain if the train moves and I dont board the train. Hearing such a ridiculous answer I asked them whether they take FIR or not? To which they replied that they dont. Next I called on the TT and asked what to do at around. He replied me to get down and file the report in Chennai or next stoppage. if I miss the train I had to ask the authorities to fix me up some other train to Chennai. I had too much for that day and thought that its better for me to get down at Chennai and file a report. But things changed as I saw another TT by the name of Mr...Purule who helped me by writing an FIR. Then at around 3.30pm I suppose he handed over the FIR to the GRP at a station named either Balaharsha or Chandrapur. As I am not so familiar with the names I had to mention the two names.
              We reached Chennai the next morning without any further incidences.
              Then I went to the railway station and I made the duplicate ticket for my brother till NewDelhi . The person informed me that as the other ticket was in waiting list we had to get the other ticket from Delhi only. I agreed and went with the duplicate ticket. Next day as we had change of plans I went again to Chennai central railway station to ask for refund. They told me that as it was a duplicate ticket I will not get the refund.
              I didn’t say anything and via internet reserved two tickets to Guwahati from Chennai on 23rd via Ernakulum Guwahati express and reached Guwahati on 25th morning about amost 2hours late.
              Now I would like to request our honourable railway minister Mr L P Yadav to kindly look into the matter and refund my trainfare for the TamilNadu Express and the fine collected which comes to around Rs 3540 + Rs 3804 = Rs7344 and the cancellation amount for my Cousin brother which comes to around Rs 1000 at max as it was sleeper class. Total around Rs8400.
              AndI request immediate action against those incompetent railway officials and RPF jawans at the train(GT express).

              I am Satheesh Kumar working as a Design Engineer in reputed concern at Bangalore.

              I have journey to Chennai in every weekend; Last week also I went Chennai and returned to Bangalore on Sunday night by Chennai mail. I bought the journey ticket from my friend, he book the tickets by through the travel agency, I don’t planned to come by train in return journey in every weekend, but he had some work so he informed to me to collect the ticket from the agent. I collect the ticket in time of 11.00 P.M (18/01/09), the train time is 11.15 on same day and the ticket type is waiting list conformed ticket (i.e. S10/51), Once again I checked the ticket from TTR passenger list and I traveled in the same train without any problem until 1.00 P.M

              Because some one squad called me in between the sleep and he ask my name 1st I tolled I told Vignesh age 34 (As per the passenger list mentioned), he ask ID proof, but I am journey in my friend ticket, so how can I show my friend Id Card. After that I have explain the things but I don’t know this kind of rules available, on other than the person travelled from others ticket.

              I know the law in the time of journey TTR ask the name, at the time its not matching mean that problem we need to pay the fine, but TTR not asking any thing, the squad how he know I am travelling in my friend Ticket and how they ask the fine amount and also he don’t returned my ticked to allow to travel in General compartment. On the time I don’t have the fine amount of Rs.510/- in my hand, because in the travelling time normally I take limited amount, so I cant able to give the fine amount to him and they are trying to get down on next station. I request to him regarding to travel as a open ticket person in general (Unreserved) compartment, but they don’t allowed to travel and finally I request him to pay that amount taken at Bangalore railway station to him.

              Finally I got that information the agent and the squad having some relationship so he got this information exactly. Let I Know these kind of process (Rules) is available are not please give the clarification for the above happen things, it will gives the awareness to my friends. This is not a correct law mean I need to take the action on squad for my amount and criticize me on full night.

              i am a regular passenger and being a responsible citizen i always try to follow the rules governed by railway.but unfortunately i need to inform you that on 26.1.9 i had purchased a superfast ticket from lucknow to knapur and travelled by Pushpak express after confieming it from 139 executive named Sandeep at 6.11 pm on 26.1.9, but after arriving at kanpur i was told that in pushpak express i am not allowed to travel on particular train for the abovesaid distance,
              sir i have made my journey after confirming from 139 and if 139 is providing wrong information then who will help out.i was penalised a fine of rs 352 after having a valid and superfast ticket.
              i had undergone a mental harrasment of 1 hour at kanpur staion.kindly let me know the remedies occured thereupon else i am bound to go consumer forum.

              Sir, I purchase a ticket from Jamshedpur Post Office of 2022 Tata-Jan Shatabadi ticket from Tata to Howrah on 24.01.2009 at 11.11 AM vide PNR No:[protected] ticket no: 08632071 running on 25.01.2009 in this ticket display my Coach No: D6 and Seat No: 105 & 106. But when i catch the train in the Coach No: D6 there is only 1 to 103 seat available, Seat No: 105 & 106 is not there, so, how this ticket is issue with that seat no. Then i talk with running ticket collector with my problem, he say this is not the first time you will please complaint this to railway authority. Sir please take a necessary action for this and reply with my e-mail ID. Unneccessary we are facing this type of problem in running train. This is your department fault please why we are suffer.

I visited to Rishra office four to five times but Rishra office is not able to pay me the said amount Rs. 216/- because they did not receive there copy regarding the same and after asking to give written that “They are not able to pay because of not receiving of there copy they refused to do same” and advised to contact CCM, Eastern Railway. I am asking you the reasons for delaying of my payment Rs. 216, and why Rishra office is not received there copy by that they can pay my amount. Please take immediately action towards my problem.

              I booked two and a half tickets (II class sleeper) from Jajpur K Road to New Delhi. The Train No. is 2815. The PNR No. is[protected]. The date of journey is 27th June 2009. I had to pay Rs 1203 for two and a half tickets. As per my calculation, the actual fare for two and a half tickets is Rs 1173. (457 x 2 + 259 = 1173) It means there is a discrepancy of Rs 30. Am I right or wrong? If right, can I get back the extra money? Though the amount doesn’t matter much, yet I want to know the reason for this discrepancy. Please suggest how can I get back the extra money?

              i would like to highlight some mismanagement going on at ishri railway crossing at the parasnath railway station in jharkhand.Every morning the crossing barricade is kept closed for 2 hours from 8 to 10 without any reason due to which the passengers on road has to face many problems due to crowd and the hot climate.. From the localites it has been found that the crossing is kept closed purposely for the local hawkers so that they can sell more, and the authorities at the nearest railway station which is parasnath has been involved in this act.Also it has been heard that the station master at the parasnath railway station is making money out of it by getting a share from the hawkers.
              it will be highly appreciable and message to this kind of people i[censored] take action against this people who creates so many problems for the daily passengers.

              Dear Sir/Madam,

              I need your help or solution to get the refund of Difference of fare between the booked class(3AC) and lower travelled class(Sleeper).

              In my Ticket, TTE marked and allotted the seat in the Bhusawal station, till Durg station in the sleeper class, coach number S11, bearth number 10, 23 & 24.
              And same has been marked by him in his sheet & Ticket both. Later, he informed me that due to marking on ticket, I can able to claim the difference of fair in the destination station booking counter.

              Once, I have requested the same at the Durg station, then Booking officer has asked for the certificate from the TTE.I was shocked to know about such certificate. Unfortunately, due to unawareness, I am not able to collect the Certificate from the TTE for the lower class travelled, which is mandatory to claim for refund.

              Now, I am become helpless to understand that how can I claim the refund for the same. Ticket details are given below.

              i want to make one strong comment on the chart preparation process of trains.I was supposed to travel from mumbai central to kota and my ticket was waiting list.The train departure was 18:50 but the chart is prepared at 17:20.Since mumbai is big city and i was supposed to travel from vashi to mumbai central which take about 1:30 hour.I rushed to mumbai central and could not catch the train.So i want to make very strong comment on this.Railway has rule to prepare chart b4 4-6 hours then why this is happening to us.

              Sir please take the refernce of my earlier complaint in which I sent complaint about not attaching the D-1 coach in Gomti express at Lucknow station on[protected] in which there was my reservation .The person pasting chart pasted chart of D-1 in general coach and removed the plate of general coach from that coach and told that this is D-1 .In this coach seat was less than reserved and general passengers refused to vacate the seat.Train was allowed to move qickly without any remedy.
              I booked one Tatkal seva ticket from Moradabad to Delhi on 20/05/2009, PNR no.[protected], Ticket No. 54890490, Train No. 5014.
              Because of Tatkal Ticket it is from Katgodam to Sarai Rohilla, I mention on the form Boarding Mb on 25th may 2009. but a staff a lady on the reservation counter booked 25/06/2009 but boarding from moradabad on 26/05/2009. This is absolutely wrong.
              I faced a very big problem during the journey. I request you kindly check my form and take some action, please return my ticket amount which is Rs. 307/-

              This is to inform the concerned person that I am travelling from New Delhi Station to Patiala Station. The fare every time I am paying for the same visit is Rs. 65. But on 13/06/2009 time 04:26 i has been given the ticket which shows Rs. 75. I do not understand why this happen. I quered about this to the ticket issuer but he not respond. I am hurry that time so can not contact with the station master immediately.

              wHY railway is taking superfast charges for special trains. These special trains runs always late more than three hours. I want to draw you attention towards Jharkhand Exp and Magadh exp both trains run 2 to 3 hours late daily since 2006 & this late is not due to public, this is only because of delhi / danapur base controller. these trains are superfast trains so railway must give attention for smooth running of these trains.

              Yesterday (7th-Jul-09), my cook (Mr. Chotu Kumar, age 20 yrs) boarded the train "Yashwantpur Howrah" (train number 2864) from Yashwantpur, Bangalore 7.35 PM.
              Details: Coach# S4/36 (Side Upper) PNR Number "[protected]".

              He called around 10 AM (8-Jul-09) and said yesterday night the TTE took his ticket and did not return, he does not know the name of the TTE. He was timid and very frustrated and has requested to every one to help but no one helped. He was so frightened, he could not say where he was. I pray to GOD that he reaches Kolkata safely.

              I have seen the misbehave of the TTEs & the Railways Police earlier and had raised voice Saveral times and forced them not to do anything wrong.

              This behaviour of Railways Employee is unethical and a punishable offense which can happen only when there is a wilful act against the complaint.

              I WOULD LIKE TO SEE, IS MY COMPLAINT IS GOING TO BE LISTED FOREVER AND NOTHING HAPPENS OR THE SITE MANAGEMENT IS BETTER THAN THE TTEs and have the willingness to make Indian Railways better.

              I could be harsh in my complaint but enough is enough, If I don't get a satisfactory action against the TTE, I would go to the Level who can take action.
              I along with my collegue was travelling by "AZADHIND SUPER FAST TRAIN" to Pune on 4th of july'09.The tolet in the same coach was found to be so horrible that one just can not enter to that room because handle bar of the flush was missing in all the four toilet and also after we had our meal from pantry canteen, I requested for a money receiot against our meal and after 12Hrs passded there was no sign of the bill so I went to the pantry Manager and he simply tried to misguide me and at alst he admit that they are having no meal receipt book and I do not know where he found one "Veg BiriYani" slip and gave to me rather we had order for simple rice mill.And you most get surprised that the tray contains only about 10--15gms of bolied rice without Dal and 15-18 numbers of green peas with 2-3mm thickness of paneer about 3nos only in it.Just think we are paying extra charges to travel in that train and what is service you provide to us.Moast importatntly we both return by the same train inS9 coach on 9th july'09 and again the same thing happens with us because all the staff are the same as on that of previous day I copmaint about the toilet to a worker filling the water at DAUND station but he did not respond to it.Is this your kind of valuable service that provides to us??? Beacuse in train tavelling toin between suoth rout the same meal they provide was simply fabulous and the rate far a chicken biriyan is 40 rupees for two pices of chiken and in this train it is 60 rupees with only one peice of chicken having a "BHADDA" tase.If this your kind of service then it is better not to provide this type of service to such a long distance traveller.I hope you most take care of all this matter seroiusly.
              Dear Indian citizen I came to India on a leave. I am NRI. For a reason I have to tk a train (Gyaneshwari Super Delux) from KURLA to NAGPUR. Because I have huge luggages. At the entrance of Kurla station the Police officers stopped me and asked me to check my luggages. They opend every luggage. Seen my Passport. Checked my pocket as if I am a criminal. They asked me for Dollars. One of them asked me "How much gold you have ?" I dont know what they want and why they are checking this way. I was getting late and exactly5 mint before the train's departure they left me but one of the Police officer took few dolalrs from my wallet. I was running to catch the train with my huge luggages.
              My point is that, Is this the way of cheking everybody's luggages in India ? Why they took my dollars. tho it was not a big amount.
              My complaint to Momota Bannerjee. Why these police officers check the passengers who are going OUT of Bombay towards Howrah or Patna? They dont check while the same train arrives at the same station. Why the hell they do their job like this. This shows I came in the 3rd world country.

              Railway is public utility service and the official of this great institution should be humble and honest towards their service. Here i am lodging a Complain against Railway Reservation clerk Mr. Prasad Rao, who was on duty today i.e. 06.09.09 at Railway Reservation counter, Satyanarayanapuram, Vijayawada, A.P..

              Today i have submitted the form to get reservation from Vijayawada to Wardha by Train no.2861 for 19.09.09. the concern clerk mr prasad has issued me a ticket No 32514689 PNR[protected]. bearing journey from Vijayawada to Warora.
              after getting ticket, I pointed out his mistake and argued that i have clearly mentioned in the form my destination is WARDHA. How can u issue ticket for Warora? He told both are same station. sir i am aware that Wardha is nearly 200 KM from Warora. I told the fact. And Wardha is having another station named Sevagram. But this gentalman was not agree with me. He abusely told me to cancel the ticket. I asked who will bear the charges, He replied that passanger has to bear. Sir this 60/- cancellation charges are not that much important. But the way how was he behaved with me in presence of so many persons is not tolerable.
              One thing, i would like to ask sir that if by mistake, a person writes a destination where train does not go, will u issue ticket to him.
              Sir, all records in reference to my reservation is with u, i strongly want that action should be taken to such employees who, do not bothered the glory and prestige of their institution.
              I hope i will get justice.

              I am Asam Khan, we have taken three genral ticket from MANMAD Jn. to KALYAN Jn. of Rs. 55 per ticket which was for slow express, we don't know about that. while taking the ticket we had told to counter lady ( age more than 55 years) that we want to go kalyan by 4:15 pm ( Varansi exp.) she has given us ticket for the same.Train has come and we have started our jorny.

              when we reach on the Kalyan Jn. TC has demand the ticket and we has shown him our ticket. then he ask to us you have to pay fine becouse this is a Fast Express. after long argue we had to pay Rs. 249/- per ticket.

              My Question is :-
              1. What was our fault ?
              2. Why that lady was more than 55 ?
              3. this was absulatly yours fault so why will we suffer ?
              4. your TC has asked counter lady name and phone number. are you people providing the same details or every passenger will ask same thing from your officers.
              5. I want compsation for the same ?
              if your grov.is unable to provide the solution for all these question, you people are not deserbing for the same post.

              I booked two third a/c tickets from the station varkala. A lady issued the tickets by train no 6124 from trivandrum central to villupuram jn in pnr no[protected].The status of my ticket was in w/l 29, 30. I was of strong belief that the a/c ticket will be confirmed. On the date of journey at about 2.30 pm my tickets were confirmed as second class . Actually i booked the a/c tickets. What prompted her to issue second class tickets were unknown to me. It caused much pain and mental agony. There was gross negligence on their part. I filled up the reservation form very correctly. Seeking appropriate remedy.
              i am ashish sawant, M.B.A., graduate from mumbai university, conducted a survey on mumbai railway as my project work. i had heard before that at sion unfair means of collecting money from people is carried out. ..the receipt of fine is not provided to the victims and the money goes directly to ticket checker's pocket.


              to test this incident i personally carried out a test to check the the truth behind it . i had my ticket, but purposely moved from sion platform 2 to 1(i had ticket from ghatkopar to matunga)...the ticket was valid for 1 hr ...i carried test within 1 hour .

              to get caught i purposely moved to T.T., at sion, still i had a valid ticket, i was just watching the laws he bombarded on me, he adjusted fine between to o[censored]s...and does'nt gave any report..

              i know that this money goes to his pocket, and not to Indian railway.

But from Vijayawada onwards the system of AC is not working(completely) we the passengers requested the station master of Rajmuntry and the AC attender of the coach. But they are not responded till now. How we can travel this long route without a AC in this area especially in this Terrible hot. Hope, you will do the needful at the earliest
              my nephew mr.. Rajat Porwal about 13 Years old was traveling alone by Mahanada Exp. (4083) On 30.06.2010 i.e. today. He has General Ticket from Allahabad to Phaphund. He could not get General Coach so he entered in Last Coach of Sleeper Class. After 1 Hrs. a Coach attendant come and asked him to show the ticket, after that he collected 200.00 Rs. When his father contacted coach attendant through Mobile of Mr Rajat and requested to him to give Receipt of full chargeable amount of Rs. 310.00 as Mr. Rajat will pay to you full amount. Coach attendant refuse to give receipt and replied that if you will talk more then I will take other type of action against your son. Now Coach attendant did not wearing any name plate.               I don't know if anybody takes any action or it is a time waste for people to post their complaints in this forum. But I am posting my experience at least with the hope that I can make some people wary about the way the staff in Indian Railways work.

              I commute regularly by train and I travel on a pass issued by railways. I am a responsible citizen who follows the rules very strictly and never failed so far. About a month ago when I got my railway pass renewed the staff at the counter has issued me a faulty ticked instead of printing the destination that I have asked him to repeatedly. He has charged the amount that is required for the destination that I mentioned. Later when I was traveling by mmts the TC came and checked my ticket and highlighted that the destination printed was wrong. I was shocked to know that and I also had to pay a fine of Rs. 260 besides being embarrassed. The people at the ticket counters in Hyderabad are so popular for their reckless attitude. When any information is asked they are reluctant to give. More than half of them do not give any authentic and accurate information. When ticket are to be renewed they either collect more amount or print wrong destinations on the ticket. Shame on the way these people work. I had to pay a fine for the no fault of mine.

              For all those people who travel by train, please recheck you tickets twice and thrice and verify that the amount, location, date of issue and expiry are right because these disgraceful irresponsible staff are in a dreamland and don't work with their senses half the time

                Sir/Madam,

                I am addressing to your office as I couldn't find any mail id at WCR website.

                After having suffered many a times I am writing for your kind intervention to stop suffering of the unemployed youths who travel for their interviews etc. and are not in a way to Bribe the TTE for the Berth allotment.

                I am basically from Jabalpur and ocassionally travel to Bhopal for interviews ,exams...

                pnr no[protected],transaction no.[protected], we want to cancell only 3rd person a rahul, age 10, male ticket . repeated times attempted to cancell this one ticket, but i unable to cancell,. i went to machilipatnam rail reservation counter, they also rejected to cancell . This facillity was not given to e-ticket holders after chart prepared. I objecting and this is not currect to withdraw this facility to e-ticket holders. This facility is available to counter ticket holers. this disparity is not currect, remove this disparity and refund cancelled ticket amount.

                My question is why should i suffer for the fault of railways where i waited for the aforesaid train for more than 4 hours when temprature was 1.2 degrees.
                this all has caused me a great mental as well as physicall agony and because of this delay i was compelled to buy a current scheme ticket of shatabdi express which was thrice the amount of my former ticket.
                and my amount is subjected to be refunded and it may take more than 3 months, which is totally unfair
                there fore i kindly request the concerned authority to look forward in to this matter and help me to compensate for my physical mental loss.

                  am regular user of 3RJ/JS DMU Passenger running between Rourkela nad sambalpur under South Eastern Railway but Unfortunately this train never runs in time. It is a record that during the Year 2007 it has not arrived Jharsuguda in right time for a single day. The coaches dont have bath and toilet facility as it is DMU. Particularly ladies and old man face trouble as it is uncertain when it will reach the destination. I am astonished when Indian railway knows that the train cannot run in time why they print time table. It is better to discontinue the train between Rourkela and Jharsuguda as in this section no train runs in time even Originating train From Jharsuguda starts 1 hr and odd late and that too every day. I request Indian Railway to take stringent action so that Trains run in time. I REQUEST SRI LALOO PRASAD JI TO ANNOUNCE HOW MANY TRAINS HE WILL RUN IN TIME INSTEAD OF DECLARING NEW TRAINS.

EVEN AFTER MY SHOWING MY RESERVED TICKET THE HALF TICKET WAS NOT ISSUED. IS IT FAIR ON THE PART OF RAILWAY TO DENY THE TICKET EVEN AFTER SEEING MY RESERVED TICKET.                     My son, Kavish Khanna along with one of his friend, G.S. Bhatti boarded the Train No. 2703/FALAKNUMA EXPRESS from Howrah Station on 04.03.08. They were to appear for an interview in Hyderabad for a job in Hotel Industry. Both are presently students of International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM), Kolkata. I booked the to and fro ticket for them in sleeper class through internet. Since I am based in NOIDA and they were in Kolkata at their institute, I told them to get their ticket printed after logging in my account through booked tickets history. Incidentally, there was some problem on the IRCTC site and the service for viewing booked tickets history was not available a day before the date of departure. I, therefore scanned the tickets printout, I had with me and sent to them through mail. They were carrying the print out of the scanned ticket along with the ID proof.
                    The TTE & the head TTE misbehaved with both the children and did not allow them to travel to their destination. They told that the printout of original ticket is required for travelling and threatened them to put them in jail by calling the police at Bhabneshwar Railway station. Out of fear they had to get down and had no alternative but to return back to Kolkata. Inspite of my repeated requests over phone they were reluctant to allow them to travel, though they had a genuine ticket and their names appeared in their charts.
                    This is really a case of harassment of the students by the TTEs. Instead of being co-operative & polite to the passengers, they are harrassing the genuine passangers and accomodating the ingenuine passengers by way of taking bribe. For a few bucks, they have played with careers of the two students. Such culprits should be identified and be given due punishment for what they have done.
                    It is also requested to refund the ticket charges from Howrah to Hyderabad and the cancellation charges for the return ticket as a result of the aforementioned incidence.
                    I am interested with business to IOCL for rail e-ticket. Please help me..How i am start with rail e-ticket business with IOCL
                    This is not happining your son, s only, it is represent the ministry of railway to their coustmer. If railway depqrtment notice this type of complaint they should take proper action against the staff who misbehaving with the passengers. if it not happen days to come when passenger it self take a decision do the justice with this type of railway staff. for this type of staff " Laat ke bhut, Baat se nahin mante".

                      Respected madam /sir,

                      I would like to draw ur kind attention towards the problem passengers facing since last few months at H.Nizamuddin railway station.
                      Maximum crowd prefer the outer ring road end of the station where there is a plenty of ticket windows but only 2-3 are in working condition.
                      sometimes even they also failed!
                      Another big problem is that there is no seprate window for PLATFORM TICKET.
                      Many people arrived at station just to receive and see-off their nearone's.
                      and a horrible scene creates at the ticket windows coz it is not possible to purchase ticket from the same window through which passengers are purchasing travelling tickets.

                      I m a STUDENT by occupation and doing enginnering from outside Delhi.
                      whenever I go from delhi my parents also drop me in the train.
                      But to purchase PLATFORM ticket we have to reach station about two hours before the train timings.
                      same problem is also faced by many other families.

                        i travell in train last 4 year with monthly seassional ticket (ujjain -indore-ujjain) but in indore and same to ujjain not issued monthly seassional ticket after 6:00 (in evening )because they say link of railways to be down .

                        we are job like person we are early in morning or late night both same condition railway staff not preffer to make our MST to after 6: 00(in evining ).

                        all of persons effected from this rules.


                        OUR EXTRA MONEY AND TIME TO BE SPENT ON MONTHLY MAKING OF MST .AND THEY ARE NOT PROVIDING COMPLAINT BOOK.

                        i was going delhi. i board the ahmdabad mail 9106 from deoband station. i am carrying the second class ticket. but when train arrive, i found no space in the general bogies. then i took the reservation compartment (sleeper class). at next station, TT came to me and ask for ticket. i show him my ticket .and request him to make ticket . the extra charge cost nearly 60 or 70 rupees .but he asked me for 350 rupees. when i asked him that extra charge is 60 or 70 rupees .then he asked for 450 rupees.but after a long conversation he agree on 100 rupees without reciept.


                        i wish that railway authorities take nescesary action . so these type of condition would'nt bother anyone anymore

                        i am a regular passenger from kuttippuram to thalassery.the kuttippiuram railway station is near to national highway.but some trains have no stop at kuttippuram.in morning after trichur -kannur passenger at 7.41am, no train to kannur till 9.35am.in between coimbatore- mangalore is passing with out stopping at kuttippuram .so please do the needful

                        I am a bonafied daily passenger of Eastern Railway for 15 years in Howrah - Tarakeswar (presently Arambagh) line from Haripal. I do want to know about "criteria of eligible candidate" and latest Government Order / Notification regarding issuing of seasonal monthly tickets @ Rs. 25/-. It seems that this type of seasonal ticket issue should be banned, and if it is not possible due to political point of view, a close vigil should be imposed as its' proper implementation is being hampered by us, those who are collecting and/or issuing certificate.

                          Now I am travelling in 3TR AC (B3 31, 32) by KONARK Express No. 1019 from Lonavala to Berhampur. Starting point of the train is CST Mumbai. We started complaining from Lonavala and now we have crossed KAZIPET but our the railway personnel in different stations is just unable to solve as there is some major defect. From the coach crew/TTE it is assertained that the coach/train was not examined before departure. It shows the irresponsible behaviour or negligence in duties by the concern staff. If the trains are not properly examined before depatute it may cause some serious problems. I demand for a strict and stringent action for those who are responsible for this.

                            We are central government of India employees. We had taken few connections from your company through your field officer Mr Amit. As discussed with Mr Amit , we wanted to change our plan to rent of Rs Rs 99 + tax with call charges 50 paise per minute and in CUG of railways with 200 free SMS. Also the mob to landline cost to be 1 re all over India. Since more than a month we have been chasing him continuously with out any result. One entire month has passed and we have no option than to pay the old rates. Again today is 29th and end of the month so We are requesting you to kindly take suitable action so that we can get the option of paying the old rent of feb as per the new rates and the march rates as per the new rates.                               We had reserved 15 berths in A.C. II tier (2 AC) through IRCTC in train No.2230A,NDLS LKO AC SPL. from Ghaziabad to Lucknow on 19th February,08

                              We were issued three PNR nos. [protected](allotted seats 2,4,6,11,12,17), [protected] (allotted seats 44,46,41,42,35,36) and [protected] (allotted seats 23,24,18). The tickets were courierd at our residence.

                              However, on the date of travel i.e. on 19th February, 08, we were in Delhi and decided to board the train from New Delhi railway station. When we reached the station to our suprise the above seats were allotted to different PNR numbers

                              We were 7 childrens, 4 females and 4 males and it was an overnight journey. We held the train at the station for about 30 miniutes but neither the TT nor the station master helped us in any was rather told us to adjust with other pasangers. This was despite we checking the PNR status on the internet at the NDLS (capital city of India) Railway station.

                              Our families faced mental agony besides inconvenience.

                              Can Indian Railways compensate us and punish the concerned officials.

                              Indian Railways is supposed to be the biggest railways in the world. But to my dismay the services provided by the Indian railways are degrading day by day. I am not sure what is the reason behind it ?
                              This complaint is regarding the bad and delayed servirces provided by the Indian Railaways to me .
                              I am Hastimal Suklal Jain, from Nandurbar. I have send my two wheeler HONDA ACTIVA by AHMADABAD – HOWRAH EXPRESS from NANDURBAR, on 05/05/2008 respected builty no – 25896/p01, NUMBERED – MH 39 E 7889 the double railline declared by Your estimeed railwalway ministry.
                              Nandurbar might be a small town from your point of view but this is very sad and harrashing act by your department that my vehical is at your department from last 15 days and not been delivered at Nagpur yet after 15 days. Now the point, this is not at all my responsibility that I should take care of that vehicle after delivering it to your so called estimeed department . I am going to comply with this to times of India and various national news papers and our local news papers and also I am going to take the legal action against this case and shall make a national level issue and also to the electronic media so that I will break your management to pieces within very less time if I will not been contacted within 6 hours of the time .

If we reserve 2 and half month in advance also there is no availability.inspite of having many trains(once in a week)other than ISLAND EXP, the passenger list is more.Railway Ministry cannot ignore this. Private bus owners are taking advantage of this.and those who cannot travel by bus (due to physical problems) are suffering by this.We have 3 trains per day from Trivandrum to Mangalore. Where the passenger rush is less compared to and from Bangalore. So It is a request to the Ministry to provide atleast 3 trains daily from Bangalore to Trivandrum.

                                Dear sir,
                                I am very sorry to interrupt you. but i have no other option except that. Sir, my native place is (village) mubarikpur that is near to khekra in district Baghpat (U.P). by luck we have railway facility that is from old Delhi to samli sharanpur via noli,fakharpur and khekra to delhi . we are facing following problems here.
                                1. either station master is not in their cabin.
                                2. the Tain on platform he come give only change. i ask to him please come half hour before arrival of train. he miss bihave with me.
                                3. Ussally Station' comes too late in their cabin.then starts to make monthly ticket. at the time train has reached on the platform. i ask to him please give a ticket for sahadra , he reply no ticket available for sahadra. then i ask then give me ticket for delhi. train beeps and move from station. he told me go without ticket. i told to him , Is it your job?
                                he starts mis behaving with me. because he is local of fakahrpur village.
                                i want to know is that station is propert of that people.
                                whenever they have wish to come and do thier job.
                                they doing job in public section ,they should do their job at least timely.
                                Is any body can distribute tickets in absebce of ticket master.
                                I request ,please take a right action so that public can get their right.
                                Irresponsible bihaviour of these kind of people going to riuned our country.

                                my mom stared journey from Coimbatore jan.on 04/10/08 for Mathura jan from train kerala exp.train no is 2526.and the coach no is b-2 birth no is 01.
                                she is a single lady in that coach around 10 oclock in night some people came in that coach and they started drinking in front of her when she called t.t.e.to change her birth, he has give an other birth but the next day the same birth people came they told that plz go on ur birth even t.t.e also said like that.its a very shameful for Indian railway and Mr minister{Lalu parsad yadav} also that u r not protecting ladies in train.she is feeling very fear .

I would like bring to your notice that i with my family where travelling on 21/05/09 by train no. 2304 from new delhi to howrah jn my PNR No. was[protected] and my ticket no was 01404188. before boarding this train we had travelled all the way from Ajmer to old delhi on train no . 9105 with the ticket no. 00764171. since my boarding train to howrah was approaximately 8 hrs from my arrival i had deposted my luggage at the cloak room at old delhi & when i went to receive the some i found offer returning home that one my bags which looked quite the same as the one that i am in current possesion with, has got swapped which obviously was a mistake of the authorities at your end. since it is not possible for me to go back to delhi to collect my belonging i would request you to get the same delivered at the aforementioned address which is their in the form as well.

I had submited Emergency Quota letter (MP-Rajya Sabha) for berth conformation at Rail Nilayam before 24 hours.They didnot respond the letter and not given the berth.This is Railyways redicules.

                                I had not found any complaint cell in Indian Railway's Website.This is very too much.
                                and also when passengers traveling by RAC, they didnt get any berth in Journy.The TTEs sold the berths for others.

                                  I have reserved sleeper class ticket for four person from Ajmet Jn. to Delhi SR on 26th of April 08 in concession voucher IAFT 1720. Due to the unavoidable circumstances I have postponed my journey to 6th Apr 08 for that they have charge Rs. 120/- for four person never mind it is as regular. Because of domestic problem I was to travel on 5th of Apr 08 for that I have can celled my ticket and reservation on 2nd Apr 08. Before four days of starts of journey for that they have charged Rs. 320/- for four person. It is not understood what is the rule of cancellation of reservation and ticket on concession voucher and how much you are charging the cancellation fee for four person ?
                                  Kindly let me know about this matter as soon as possible.

The train "ABAD ASSAM was late for 15 hrs, hence I cancelled my E-ticket (PNR No. [protected]. I have submitted application for refund. After numerous reminders I receieved a letter (No.2003/IRTC/ERTD/REFUNDS/E-ticket dt. 18.12.2007 signed by Mr. V.P. Indoria that money will be refunded in 90 days time. More than 6 months have passed and REFUND is still awaited.

                                    I tried booking a ticket on 5 February 2008 through my online SBI account no. [protected] on IRCTC website. The ticket was being booked from Chennai to Delhi on Garib Rath.

                                    I made online payment of Rs.912 from my SBI bank account but the IRCTC website showed failure while payment. So neither the ticket was booked nor the money was refunded to my account. The transaction detail is [protected]IG01663176 TRANSFER TO [protected].

                                    I repeatedly tried to call IRCTC helpline but was never able to get through.

                                    Also I contacted my bank branch and made an enquiry through it. The bank reported that money has not been released by IRCTC.

                                    It is really disgrace on a professional organisation like yours to provide hardly any support to your aggrieved customer. Inspite of repeated attempts to get in touch I have not received any response from you.

                                    Please look into the matter and refund amount due to me. my mail id is [protected]@yahoo.com. And my phone no. is [protected].

                                    I have booked ticket from Nizzamuddin to Agra Cantt for 9th of october. the transaction got failed but amounyt of Rs. 248 was debited from my account.

                                    I havent yet got the amount yet.

                                    Please help.
                                    Dear Sir/ Madam,
                                    I am very happy to see the out performance of Indian Railways and its growth from last few years. But I feel regret to say that some of the rules are really apathetic and carries unfair trade practices with common public.
                                    I booked my ticket from Ahmedabad to Howrah in Ahmedabad-Howrah Express (Train No. - 2833) for 27/04/2009, PNR No.[protected] in 3AC which was in waiting list and could not get confirmed. The train was at 11.55 pm at night and I did not travel in waiting ticket. To cancel the ticket next day I went to the station named Gandhidham in Ahmedabad at 2.30 pm, I was told that I should go to the main station which is Kalupur station as I was late. Since it was far away from there so I asked in the enquiry if it would be okay to go next day morning. The concerned person told me no problem and I went next day morning at 10 am to kalupur station. When I asked in the enquiry they told this ticket could not be cancelled since the time has elapsed and I should apply for TDR and seek refund.
                                    I applied for TDR at 10.50am on 29/04/2009 and my application no. - 400402. I was told that since my train has still not reached Howrah as per the schedule time and I have applied for TDR before that so I will get my money back in a month through cheque. At the end of a month I got a letter from Indian Railways saying that I did not qualify for refund. It just seemed to me like the railway is cheating and trying to make money from public with unfair trade practices. But still with some hope I am trying to write this letter to see if I can be really happy at the rightful growth of Indian railways. Kindly help me and refund my money.

                                    jab mein lucknow se reservation sleeper class ke liye karwata hu to mujhe lko to koraput tak ka confirm reservation mil jata hai but jab wapas ane ka reservation karwata hu to mujhe cnfirm reservation nahi milta hai . or phir iske baad TT dwoara mujhse paisa 200 liya jata hai or reservtion karwane per koraput se bhubaneshwar ki jaga vijayanagram se diya jata hai or mein bahut preshaan hu ticket karwane per ye loge kehte hai ki doori jyada hone ke karan reservation nai milega mein orissa mein 3 years me engg kar raha hu but mujhe her baar ye problem face karni padti plz help me.

                                    Hello, My name is Jaydeep Barua, I booked a ticked through IRCTC from New Delhi to Guwahati in the month of Aug 10 for journey on 18 Nov 10, but due to some internet problem and technical glitch my connection was lost, the money for the journey was deducted, but i was not able to retrieve the E-Ticket nor could i note down the PNR No. , further i mailed IRCTC regarding the mishap, firstly they could not understand the query for next 5 mails, by the time they understood i had to do another reservation by tatkal. After lot many correspodence (Approx 16-20 mails) IRCTC retrieved the ticket and now its blaming me for the lapse, funny thing i ams still unable to get the ticket from my account in IRCTC web, as it is not being reflected in booked ticket history. I even sent them the scanned copy of passbook. Kindly advise me further course of action.
                                    I had booked one ticket from Mumbai CST to Kanyakumari in train no.16381 vide PNR no [protected] for dated 30.10.2011 Through clear trip for 2 AC , But train was changed its coach from 2nd AC to 3rd AC. Passenger were told in the train that we will get refund on the station where u get down but still we have not get back our money. How Railway was allowed to do this? It is an cheating case, .
                                    So you are requested to refund my money back....

                                    Harassment charges extra
                                    I had lodge one complaint once before. But what is the benefit of this wave site?
                                    Refund claim against TDR filed on 21-Nov-2010 has not been resolved till this date. Myself with my wife booked tickets to travel by Rajdhani express from Balasore to Bhubaneswar on 20 Nov &#039;10. However, as the train was running more than 6 hours late, we had to make alternative arrangement. As per the Indian Railway rules, trains rununing late 3 hours or excess are claimable for refund. In spite of several complaints and reminders, we have not got back the money. IRCTC on 4 Sept 2012 replied &quot;Non-Journey-Certificate (NJC) was not submitted&quot; hence money can not be refunded. There is no provision obtaining or submitting a non-journey certificate. We are not aware of what this non-journey certificate is. Earlier, we filed another TDR for late running of train and got full refund with any such thing being asked. Moreover, we performed the journey by alternative means to travel overseas where we work, so there is no way that we could obtain a certificate. If I would have got a reply in response to TDR that you need such a certificate, I would have tried through my contacts in India.When someone has not performed journey in a reserved ticket, the records should be available with the Railways. If you are asking me after 2 years, from where I will get such a certificate. This is absolute harassment.
                                    Why Railways can not verify from their records on the non-journey?

                                    Can the consumer forum assist in refund?

                                    Refund of cancel ticket

                                    On 16th Jan, I had cancelled the ticket PNR [protected]. No refund has come yet.

                                    Even after sending reminder multiple times, no one is responding from Railways.

                                      Subject :System improvements and procedure amendments to improve transparency and reducing possibility of corruption in Parcel System.

                                      Suggestions : There should be a maximum time limit assigned to reach a booked item from source to destination considering the variours constraints like distance, direct route, frequencies of train etc.
                                      I have booked some household goods from lucknow to kharagpur (receipt no. F 993522) on date 09/02/08 at lucknow parcel office. The booking personnel ( not specific ) indirectly demand for some money from me, but i did not entertained. The result is that i could not get my goods till now(20/02/08). when i try to make some enquiry they told i have sent it, now my job has finished. When i contact to kharagpur parcel office, they told me, it beyind my control we are helpless, if goods are received, it will delivered to u, so continue your enquiry. i am facing too much mental harashment, so please help me and make some ammendments to improve the system. I am a Ph.D student at IIT kharagpur, and supposed to bring my family after the goods arrival, but still waiting for my goods. Here my friends are saying that untill you pay extra money to those parcel people, u will not get the goods at the time, and also u have to suffer a lot.
