My name is D'Mello, from Lucknow. The machine was purchased two years ago, but in a few months of purchase, there were failure of four or five UV lamps. While the Engineers used to replace the same, on my insistence, it was found that there was a defect in one black coloured box on the right side of the machine. When this was replaced, there was no problem. Since then, I have had the filters changed and one UV lamp changed, a few months ago. Today, the UV lamp has blown off again and when the engineer came to replace the same, he found that there was a water leakage from the motor and in the UV lamp chamber. The company is insisting on paid replacement. It must be understood that from technical point of view, the entire machinery is covered and there is no access to us. Leakage cannot be of a wear and tear nature, especially from the motor. I feel that being charged for replacement of an item which is clearly due to a possible inherent fault, is certainly not acceptable. For the interest of customer satisfaction, it is earnestly requested that the rectification of the leakage problem be handled by the company with no cost to me. I am fully ready to pay for the UV lamp which has blown and pay the normal service charges. An early attention and rectification of my Kent RO Grand would be highly appreciated. PS: The engineer did not carry my customer card with him.

I bought Kent from CSD one year back now out of warranty it not worked since last 20 days I had already complaint cell no is[protected] and [protected] Visakhapatnam service centre but technician not came yesterday 24 Jun again compliant they was answar to technician not available what is reason service not given properly closed your company how many days are waiting custumar so please kindly I requested to take action this complaint my cell no is [protected] and [protected]

      I bought Kent RO on 9/8/14. Unfortunately just after a few months, the machine started to malfunction perpetually. On repeated calls to the customer service numbers, a technician would come for repair, but the would again stop functioning in about 2 weeks time. My machine is still within its warranty period and I would seriously insist in replacing my machine for a new one. With my experience so far, I am sure that I was duped by Kent by selling me a pre- damaged product in the name of a new one. I want to get rid of this machine and get a new replacement or my money back. I am sick and tired of this nuisance called KENT!

        So far, I have not witnessed such poor n irresponsible way of handling complains. Its very sad and unfortunate that I opted this company's product. I didn't have a clue that Kent can install a predamaged nonfunctional piece of garbage in the name of RO. Now, that I want to get this piece retuned (date of purchase _ 29th may 2015 bearing order no. [protected]) or get fixed, seemingly the concerned people are deliberately harassing the customers. As nothing useful has come till date in this case from the company.

          bought a kent6ro machine last year in jan .started giving problems in feb itself .after that it took company two months to provide service after arguments .again stopped working and had to spend more 3500.and at present still not working.IT has been a nightmare owning this machine and it has been useless to own it .i want to return the machine and want a full refund.

            I requested for a service visit for my Kent Grand+ RO Purifier in March 2015 as the water was not tasting fine. After repeated cancellations of service visits from the dealer, the service guy arrived 5 hours late for the appointment. He replaced a membrane which was replaced 6 months back by a different Kent dealer saying it has gone bad as it was made in 2011!!! Basically the last Kent dealer had replaced a used membrane in my machine - another Kent greatness. He noted that the pump has gone bad as well and told me a hefty price (around 4000) for it and said that I should go for AMC as all other membranes will also need replacement within a year as they have a life of 1year. On the bill, he noted that the Pump replacement is pending as he was not carrying the part. Since then nobody has turned up and even after repeated calls Rain Drops Service did not take any action. On today's call, I asked 7 times from 4 different people about the part being available only to hear the only English statement that the people there knew - Sir what is your address so that I can send the person for service only. Now that Rain Drops Service has got the AMC money - 7500 rs - they are not willing to repair the machine. Kent is a piece of junk that no one should buy. The machine costs 16000 odd and then there is repeated expense of some 4000 odd every year. My intended resolution is to have the AMC money back so that I can throw this junk out of my house and get a Water Purifier that works.

              Hi Team, I bought kent water filter in last year April. Last Month I called Pure water (kent Distributor) and asked to fix the water taste issue. One technician visited and changed 1 filter and took 650 rupees. Next day I got some other issue. Called the same distributor. There was no response for 10 days. Every day they are receiving my call and saying that technician will visit and fix the issue. After continues followup one day visited and asked 2680 rupees to fix the issue, Not sure why the issue is not identified in day one. I rejected to pay 2680 rupees. Then the technician left my house without fixing the issue. I called another distributor (Aqua and Aqua company). They asked 4600 rupees to fix the issue. I am fed-up with this and paid 4600 to fix the issue. Very next day again I got issue. I called the distributor after 10 day finally they send technician. But this time again they are asking money to fix the issue. So far I paid more than 5300 RUPEES but I still the issue is not resolved. Can you please take this case and help me to fix my filter.               Thank you very much. Finally my issue resolved. Many Many thanks to www.consumercomplaints.in Distributor Aqua and Aqua technician fix my issue. I would request Kent to come up with Customer service call support. There is no Customer call support so far. There is one number available in Kent website. But that contact number gives only distributor contact details. If distributors service is not good to whom we reach. No clear details in Kent website. Great thanks ..finally my issue resolved.

              Issue is not resolved. Distributor request to close the complaint and he will come fix the issue. So far not fixed. Sent a mail to above ID. hopefully expecting service.

              Today I have received a call from Kent. I have explained everything what the issue I faced from Both Kent distributors.

              Kent regret on my issue and informed me that they will send a senior technician. Lets wait and see...how Kent is going to resolve my issue. After paying 5600 rupees still waiting to fix my issue. Bad or shame ??????? This serial will continue till my issue resolve...

                We purchased Kent Pearl water-purifier from [Arvinda Steel Centre, No 1298/2 9th Block, 25th Main, JayaNagar [[protected], Bangalore] on 20-May-2014. Less than one year later, around 15-May-2015, the unit stopped working (the red-light just switches on and immediately goes off). We contacted the designated installer and service provider [Sreenivasa Aqua Service, 178/10, 4th Cross, Venkatapura Main Road, Koramangala, Bangalore-560034] but the serviceman was not sent immediately. After multiple follow-ups, we finally got the serviceman to come and look at the problem on 06-Jun-2015. This serviceman (Sunil - [protected]) did not even enter our kitchen before declaring that our water purifier was more than 2 years old and we need to replace 2 or 3 filters. He must be a good baba/soothsayer/fortune-teller. Anyway, I told him to have a look at the date on the receipt and his own service center's installation date which was 20-May-2014. Then he relented and started opening up the unit and promptly declared that the micro-controller (in his words "PCB") is dead. And then he quickly replaced it with a different micro-controller unit before we could react. Then he tweaked the TDS controller to show higher TDS (~150) level in output water and "advised" us to replace the sediment filter. We were not sure about it therefore we said we will take a second opinion. He then left disappointed but not before billing us Rs.1235 (935 for the spare and 300 for service). The very next day, 7-Jun-2015, our Kent Pearl stopped working again. This time, the red-light switched on but the green-light did not switch on and obviously no filtered water was output. We contacted Sreenivasa Aqua again. They again delayed despite multiple follow-ups and finally we received another serviceman (Harish - [protected]) on 17-Jun-2015 who, again, opened up the unit and declared the micro-controller dead. We were understandably disappointed since it was replaced on 6-Jun-2015. He, then, proceeded to replace it but, since we showed the 6-Jun receipt, he did not charge any money for the spare. But he did change the pre-filter and billed us Rs. 350 (just took the money and did not give receipt giving some excuse). Incidentally, this man said that the TDS level is good enough (at ~30) thereby contradicting his own colleague's (Sunil's) prophecy. Within an hour of his leaving our house, our Kent Pearl stopped working. Same problem as before. Red-light on but no filtered water output. We are getting increasingly frustrated but trying to contact Sreenivasa Aqua. All we get in return are rude responses and apathy. They absolutely do not want to own their service mistake and say that our electricity supply is fluctuating and damaging the micro-controller. Nevermind the n-number of electrical appliances in our house which run perfectly well, most of which without a stabilizer. What a ruse! At this juncture, we are extremely annoyed both with Kent Pearl water-purifier and Sreenivasa Aqua service agency. We also have a couple of our neighbours who are facing similar problems with their Kent purifiers all being serviced by the same agency. We will, of course, discourage every prospective water-purifier buyer in our social networks from going the Kent-way. We will also post this message in all possible forums to spread awareness about the hassles of living with a Kent water purifier. We have decided to move to consumer court as a last resort but before that, I volunteered to contact Kent Customer Service once. Hence, I am writing this to you, believing you stand by the products you sell, with the hope that you will intervene, take some kind of action and provide a solution to this nuisance.

                Hi, the KENT company being managed by educated professional is being duped by its own less educated workers/ technicians.
                Service issue is very common with KENT country-wide hence conclude that the KENT company is not having any ethics as that of TATAs.
                In case the unit develops even a small problem, then you are gone completely because then even a smallest part of the unit will get changed - courtesy the KENT Technicians in stages in order to rectifying the problem occured initially and you ultimately end up paying more than the machine cost, and even after that if your machine works, it is yet your luck!

                KENT Management must be reading such comments posted by the effected consumers, but still there is no system improvement by KENT for earning the confidence of the consumer. One day the consumer will dump the company the way he has dumped his KENT water purifier (many cases) and turn towards another makes.
                I just got new Kent Grand ro installed in this evening and it's not working.. red light is glowing .. Surprise to see the level of product and service they supply.. we didn't even drink a single drop of water.. we just removed the water which is first load in tank to avoid gulping germs or dirt (as suggested by Kent)
                Language issues with technicians in south. Late... Very late response at relatively well connected places... Technicians knowledge average... Poor

                  I have taken the AMC from ‘Good Mineral RO’ Bangalore for my Kent water purifier. I have logged a complaint to Kent customer care earlier and good mineral ro people repaired that time and I was told them they are authorized Kent Service people then insisted to take AMC from them. This was around 2 – 3 months ago, since these people engaged by Kent customer care, I have taken the AMC. Last Saturday (i.e 6th June) I have logged a service complaint (SR No: 7891) with them and they didn't turn up. More than a week I had been following up with them, the only way I can reach them is through their landline and they always tell they will send the engineer. Then I contact 'Kent Online Care' (on 14th June) and I got a call from Kent 2 days later and advised me that they are sending a request to Bangalore team with ‘High Priority’ to resolve it as soon as possible. I was told someone from Bangalore team will contact me, but nobody contacted me yet. I've send another follow up email but still no one is bothered to look on the customer issues. Now I'm stuck and dont know what to do. Both the service center and Kent compnany is not providing any help!!! I'm just posting this just for a warning to whoever going to buy a Kent water purifier to understand the pain/frustration that you will have to go through after you but Kent products.                       As per tall claim the purifier is to give pure water. The machine purchased by me stopped without any alarm.On servicing it was observed that the bottom of the storage container was full of black impurities collected over a period of 2 to 3 months. How did the membrane allow this? This indicates that claims made are all false. One can be subjected to impure water without indication. No convincing answer was given by technician. No reply given to my earlier complain? The machine is not at all cost effective. ad appears to be only a marketing gimmick?

                        We are highly fed up with the post sale service of Kent. The immediate issue is it is almost over two and a half week ticket has been raised with Axis Consumer Services Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata for a New RO and additional filter as suggested by technician...so many days have passed..no service received. Moreover the Proactive service seems to be NIL. In AMC the service people are supposed to visit for free service every Quarter which we never received in the past 2 years. The purifier itself does not seem to be very efficient. Every now and then there are issues with the system. I would NEVER recommend Kent to anyvbody! The AMC service people who come seem to be cheats asking for more price for any replacement! wrost!! - Ranjani Thyagarajan [protected]

                            Hi, I bought Kent last year. After that once filter changed. Last month water taste was not good. I called Kent Distributor technician reach to fixed the issue and charged 650 rupees. But still water taste was not good. every day I am requesting Distributor to fix the issue. But They are not reach to my home. I sent email to Kent service desk. But no use. PURE WATER HOUSE NO. 30 6TH CROSS, HUTCHINS ROAD, ST.THOMAS TOWN Finally one day technician visited and now asking 2600 Rupees for fixing the issue. initially they have not fixed the issue and took 650 and now they are asking 2600. Then I approached another distributor (Aqua and Aqua). They asked 4500 rupees for fixing the issue. By the time my children suffering from Cold and fever. I paid 4500 rupees and asked to fix the issue. After next the again water filter was not working. I spent more than 5000 rupees, But the issue was not fix. When i call Distributor they are not attending to fix the issue. Can you please take the case in this forum.

                              Dear sir/Madam My KENT EXCELL+ MINERAL RO is not working properly which started from 9-9-14, matter was reported to KENT RO SYSTEM LTD. Auth. service centre :Plot no. 130, Industrial Area-1, Panchkula, Ph.-[protected].Your engineer has come on 10-9-14 and change the solenoid value and charged us 600Rs. Again the same problem occured on 30-10 14, we again report it to same service centre, same engineer came and changr the same part as previous and charged us 100Rs. Third time when problem occur i.e on 17-2-15 same engineer came from service centre telling the same issue again and again also we asked him to change the tap, which he changed it for 900Rs.By seeing all these scenarios we tell the service centre member to change all the filter, they again send the same engineer at our place to do the whole task on 18-4-15, the overall cost came up is 1500Rs. For few days our purifier work properly, again the problem occur we call same service centre explaining our problem 26-5-15, they refuse to listen to my whole conversation again and again and just ask my adress and hand up my call, the service man came on 28-5-15, but this time another man came and check the problem and cost us 300Rs. Now again, after last service the problem of water leakage had been started at very large rate, though we again complaint to same auth centre.the man came on 11-6-15, does not able to solve the problem and leave our system off through out the day.Today also we call again to them till this time ie.3.10pm, although I made them a call at 1.00pm, no respose has been shown from their side. The main thing is that the service center has taken a lot money from us by fooling us and hasn't provided the correct solution regarding our problem and still has left our R.O. is in bad condition.                                 Dear Sir/Madam, My Kent Supreme RO+UV Water Purifier is not working since from 2nd June 2015, matter reported to KARAN ENTERPRISES 42 A/D, GANDHI NAGAR on 4th June your boy visited my residence and changed the Auto Flush by charging Rs 900/- but the said water purifier only worked for half an hour. Till then almost everyday matter has been reported to your office/officer Mr. Varun, thrice your boy visited with Old/2nd hand/ Repaired Auto Flush system. My water Purifier is still on serviceable mood, very poor service is provided to the customers Advise for the further action, Should I proceed to consumer court.                                     This is to bring to your notice of a purchase, I made on the 19th of July 2014 of the above mentioned product via online purchase from the company's website. This was delivered to me and fitted by the authorised service and spare parts dealer Shree Sadhguru Enterprises. On 27th Feb 2015, I complained that the Syringe and the Filter need replacement since they are not functioning upto the standard. I was charged Rs 750 for a spare kit replacement in, spite of the product being under warranty. I believe I have made a huge mistake by trusting this online order and in the service center since within 2 months, the problem perishes again and I am dependent again on other sources for water which are not only unhealthy but also pose a risk.                                       I bought a Pearl RO Kent filter 2yrs back and have been getting this red sediment at the bottom of the tank the company has made us change all the possible filters as well as the membrane we paid for everyting except the membrane which I refused to pay.They also told us to get the AMC which we did but the sediment problem still persists The company has not been able to resolve.                                         We have been using Kent RO Max for last more than 2 years and we are very happy with the product. Unfortunately we are facing tough time with the servicing. We are continuously following up for the servicing for last 1 month with one of the service centers. One lady named, Ms Karishma (telephone no –[protected],[protected] every time promises that the person will visit, but no one visits. Surprisingly when I checked on this website Consumer Complaints, I found the similar complaint against this lady. Request the company to 1. Handle my service request at the earliest 2. Identify why this is happening
