Hi i booked hotel from makemytrip mobile website while doing search i was shown free breakfast & free wifi available in the hotel aman continental delhi & i have shared my concern with makemytrip support but they denied to give free breakfast to my guest.in app they show different search result & in app hotel aman continental show only free wifi included in search result but in moblie website seach result is different. My registered email id : [protected]@gmail.com. When i contacted them they said me that they cannot find my room category for date 30 sep as room sold out & trying to manipulate me by saying that they want screenshot of hotel at the time you booked room & i told them no one book room by taking screenshot. I also told that if you can show my room category for today date i can provide screenshot for same but they are unable to do. I paid more amount for deluxe room but have not get breakfast included. When i asked for breakfast they said you have to pay rs 231 to hotel but i have already paid & booked room by seeing free breakfast & free wifi.in app it show free wifi but in mobile website it show free breakfast & free wifi. For proof i am attaching screenshot of mobile website search result, app search result & same room category with breakfast less than amount available which i paid that is rs 2602. Kindly refund rs 462 & take strict action against makemytrip

    I made a booking for nirwana hotels few days back. I booked a deluxe room with free breakfast at around rs 2900 per night for 2 guests for 3 nights. So the total amount charged should have been rs 8700 plus taxes. Whereas i have been charged rs 13964 incl taxes and service fee that comes to about rs 4654 per night. When i made the payment i didn't notice the discrepancy.

      Need to cancel the booking id nf[protected] but app does not reflect bookings in my trips section and cannot get through a person at customer support number. Have mailed [protected]@makemytrip.com but no response from them too. I had paid extra for the zero cancellation policy
      Which now seems like makemytrip is not honouring.

      I need the booking cancelled urgently and the refund processed in full as promised by makemytrip.

        On 15 july, 2018, i had booked a ticket on goair flight g8-371 for 18-nov-2018 (From mumbai to goa)& g8-478 for 24-nov-2018 (From goa to mumbai) by make my trip. Now due to some personal reason, we cannot go. Now i want to cancel my all tickets but there was no refund amount on cancellation by make my trip and i really need money and i cannot share my personal reason with you. I can only request you please refund my money.
        Please reply as soon as possible. I really need it.

        Please confirm that my balance money will be refund after cancellation charge or not???
        After that we will cancel my booking. Also i want ask you something, when i want cancel my tickets before 1 and half month, why zero amount will be refund??? Emergency can be possible anytime. I think you should understand what i am saying???
        Even if we reserve the ticket by train then in this condition railway also refund after cut the cancellation charges before 24 hrs. So why are you not refunding my balance amount???
        Please it is request you please reply as soon as possible so that i could cancel my ticket.

        How much time will you take to solve to solve my problem ? I have canceled my ticket and the refund came only Rs.518/ -. While I had paid total amount of Rs. 28, 518/- How can you do this ???????????
        You can refund the balance amount by cutting the cancellation charges. Emergency can come anytime with anyone. But your company does not support it. Only you see the advantage of your company. What is this policy?

        Even in the Railways, it does not happen, the railway also cuts the cancellation charge and refund your balance amount. But your cancellation policy is very different, you deduct the full amount after cancellation.
        You see only your profits, you have also got the money for my ticket and the seats which are vacant, you will sell to someone, you have double benefit but loss happens to us.

        The policy should be something like that if anyone cancel the tickets 1-2 weeks ago, those tickets are non-refundable. But when anyone cancel 1-2 months ago, then some amount should be returned after cutting the cancellation charges.

        You yourself think that no one will deliberately loss himself. It may be that he has really got a problem.
        Please understand what I want to say and resolve my problem as soon as possible.

        I need a lot of rupees now. Please answer soon.

          I had booked a flight from blr-ahd and return. While booking i paid extra charges for zero cancellation. Suddenly from 25th september this trip was not visible under my trips section in mmt app or web portal. I needed to cancel the flight partially for two of the passengers. But as it was not visible in my profile i was not able to cancel it. I tried calling customer care several times. There is no option to speak to a customer care executive. Only ivrs options come.in ivrs when it gives me option of my blr-ahd upcoming flight. I selected cancellation through ivrs and they provided me a link to cancel in my registered mobile number and email id. However, whenever i am clicking on "confirm" cancellation it shows "trouble processing cancellation". This is really frustrating!!! I have escalated the issue several times but no response from mmt.

          Hi, i was trying to book ticket from bangalore to dehli on 28 sept 2018 to travel on 29 sept 2018. after filling the details i chose payment method as netbanking from which my flight amount got deducted from my bankaccount but i didnt got any confirmation mail or booking id.

          They are cheaters. I have been struggling to get my refund since almost 25 days.no help at all from customer care. They are utterly useless and very bad at speaking with a customer as well.

            I had booked a trip to Kerala from 13th to 17th August. But because of floods in Kerala it could not work out. I have multiple issues regarding this booking:
            1. During the payment for booking, I was not able to apply a coupon on the trip: coupon : mega20k_bh on the trip. When asked customer service about the same, I was told that coupon is already applied. Can the coupon be applied without me even selecting it and if it was applied, why did I get the discount as told by another coupon ( ₹ 10360 only).

            2. The app continuously showed me wrong information that my flight is on 13th aug at 00:00 hrs. Even now when I don't have any flight it is showing flight on 15th August at 12:00 hrs.

            3. I tried to reach out to MakeMyTrip multiple times but there customer care number is always unavailable.

            4. I raised the concern of floods in Kerala the very next day ( on 8th aug). But the response I got from team was that it would get better in 2 days. After that whenever I asked about an update, I was always told that even though army is deployed there and government officials are saying that the situation is grim but still MakeMyTrip was optimistic enough to believe in god's power that the condition would improve like magic on last day.

            5. Finally MakeMyTrip team called me on 12th aug, asking for date change to 25th aug. Again another example of optimism from there end that such serious flood condition would improve and the place would be fit for vacation in next 10 days. Also, they expect their customers to not make any future plans because the customer was blind enough to trust the team.

            6. When requested to change destination as I actually wanted to go on vacation, they said a straight no.

            7. The response was so late that I couldn't even plan another vacation because my money was stuck here.

            8. And the best part of the thing is that they plan to give me only one thirds as refund. It is as if I paid for the vacation of makemytrip.

            9. The story is not over yet, in the app they show that I have completed my 5d 4n trip in just one day ( from 15th aug to 16th aug). It's the same time when Kerala was battling with floods... MakeMyTrip was in the impression that I was enjoying my vacation there. Ignorance at its peak

                Hi,

                I want to express my grievances against MakeMyTrip for the inconvenience that I am facing right now.
                I booked a refundable Malaysian Airlines ticket to Sydney through MakeMytrip and had to cancel my tickets as I didn't get the VISA. Booking ID :NN[protected]
                I called MakeMytrip customer care on 20th September (1 day before my flight) and was told that I will get a refund of Rs 17, 000 approx for cancellation of the tickets.

                The next day morning(21st) I cancelled my ticket online through MakeMyTrip website 6.5 hours before my flight's departure and it showed me that I'll get a refund of Rs 61, 992 after deducting air charges, GST and tax etc.
                I also recieved an SMS saying the same thing and that the refund process will start in 12 hours.
                PFA the screenshots of the mail I recieved from MMT.

                Today on 24th I called MakeMyTrip again to enquire till when can I expect my refund, and now I'm being told that my refund amount is too less(almost no refund).

                I believe this is highly unprofessional and I feel like I'm being fooled here as a customer as I don't know what to believe.

                After getting an SMS from MakeMyTrip for a refund of 61, 992 I expected the same refund ASAP.

                I am very sorry to say that I am extremely disappointed to use MakeMytrip for booking my flights and will urge everyone around me to not use MakeMytrip ever again.

                  Hi,

                  I booked a trip to pondicherry and paid full amount of 53000 rupees on 17th sep. Due to some personal issue, i had it cancelled on 19th sept. I was told that the trip would be cancelled and refund initiated. After a few days on 22nd, i got another call saying that your trip is "non-refundable" and you won't get a penny back. I called up customer care again and then somebody said 39000 would be refunded and refund initiated in 24 hrs. The trip was still not cancelled. I call up after 24hrs and again someone says we need to look into it again and not sure of how much will be refunded. This is terrible experience. Also, i think there are some people whoa re scamming customers of their money. Like the person who called me to tell me that nothing was refundable. This is pathetic service. Please help me get my money back.

                  I checked in the app and I see three cancellations against one booking??? What is going on? I think somebody is trying to do some fraud.initially called me saying money is not refundable at all. Later on called again and said some money is refundable. I checked the app again and out of the three cancellations, two of them say that the trip is non refundable. This seems like a clear case of fraud. The executive that has been sending me email is "Jyotsna Jaiswal". Please take some action. This is very very poor service. I need my refund as soon as possible. It is not a small amount. 53000 is a lot of money.

                  Do you guys even care about the complaints? If you guys simply believe in looting clients money?? I am going to file a complaint against this pathich service and your fraud very soon. 11 days and nothing happens. I am going to especially mention "Jyotsna Jaiswal" who is apparently handling my refund case, though I very much doubt she is doing anything at all. She is the one that called me up saying there is no refund. I think there is fraud going on.

                  Still no refund. It has been over 20 days now. This is the worst holiday website. More like make my nightmare . All the advertisements are just a facade. Customer service is horrible. Their people in customer care can't speak proper English and start dropping calls once they realise they do not have any update. Horrible horrible company. People, please stay away from them.

But your room is not given as per price taken by you. This room is not superior a. C. Room. The receptionist rudely told me that we will not give u the superior a. C. Room. This so small room is your superior a. C. Room. This behaviour of the hotel person is not good and unauthenticated.
                    Again your toll free no. Does not recognise the last 4 digit i'd of my booking.
                    It's not a good respond of this type of organisation, like make my trip.
                    We will have no faith on u, or those persons booking in on line. You are showing one thing in picture and giving another room. We are very sorry to say you that u are just cheating the people.

                      My name is abhimanyu jitani and i have been a loyal customer to make my trip over the last few years. I must say till now i had a soothing hassle free experience with you guys but last week a big service error has been done by them which has completely alarmed me.

                      I had a reservation round trip scheduled between delhi and bangkok - booking id nn[protected].

                      My friend mr. Kunal arora also had the same flight reservation, booking id nn[protected] and he had called mmt helpdesk to cancel his reservtion; and guess what the call centre did, they cancelled my booking.

                      Is this the service standards they follow? How can someone cancel a booking without even verifying the name of the person? It's just a money making process for them that people book their tickets and then cancel and amend and they make profits.

                      I hope you can understand that how i will be feeling after having a confirmed flight booking cancelled without my knowledge and also i need to bear the charges for the same.

                      I was trying to book a domestic flight ticket from pune to hyderabad for 10th oct 2018, booking failed and amount of rs 1948 has debited from my account and the transaction is not being showing in the trios section too, I have now booked the ticket from other website now I want the MMT to refund the amount.

                      I have done a misspelling for the name Jitendra Prasad. His name is Jitendra Prasad but i have written Jitendra Pal. Please make the amendment or change the surname if possible. I could not complaint this on 72 hours ago before the ticket as i have bought the ticket yesterday only. So please make changes

                        Greetings from MakeMyTrip.

                        This is in regards to your refund query against the PNR# RFN1JW.

                        We tried calling you, however, you number is not reachable.

                        We have checked with the airline and processed the refund of INR5063.

                        The refund will be credited within next 5-7 business days.

                        The airline processed the refund of INR14208.

                        We have deducted MMT service fee of INR600 and INR8196 (cashback) and processed the rest amount.

                        Please note that as per the T&Cs of the cashback if you full/partially cancel the booking, the cashback amount will be deducted from the refund amount.

                            I had cancelled an international trip on August 30th. The customer executive told me that the refund will be credited within 3 working days. But it did not happen till now. Whenever I call the customer service they keep on giving inconsistent responses regarding the reason for the delay. After 3 working days they said, the bank will take another 3 working days making it a total 6 days. After 6 days when I called, they said the reply from airline is pending causing the delay. Now they are saying it might take up to 90 days since they have initiated some process which they called "RA".

                            In fact, MakeMyTrip advertises on their app that the refund will be done in 12 hours. Right now I think I might never get even 1 rupee as refund from MakeMyTrip. The inconsistent and contradictory replies from the customer care makes me feel that they are trying to hide something and now they are not responding to mails also. This is my last attempt before moving to consumer court.

                              Complaint:
                              Booked airline tickets from makemytrip website using my mother's hdfc card [invoice screenshot attached for reference]. The hdfc offer at the time made us eligible for inr 10, 000/- cashback after 21 days from booking date. However, it is 53rd day from transaction/book date, today (September 17th, 2018).
                              Q1) why such delay for cashback?
                              Q2) who compensates for that?

                              In addition, tried multiple times to reach all mmt customer care numbers [even other numbers than those on screenshot attached], none of which were available and disconnected the calls saying, "all lines are busy!". [did not pay inr 1, 52, 000/- for this harassment.]
                              Q3) why take inr 2097/- as "convenience fee", when you aren't providing any "convenience"? [screenshot attached]
                              Q4) who compensates for that?

                              Expected resolution:
                              Not only do i want the cashback as per the offer from them (Or hdfc) but also some compensation, since they've wasted my time, energy and spirits. Request you to take urgent action on this, please.

                                Hi, i have booked ticket from make my trip from delhi to jammu for 2people and my mistake i booked it for december instead of november, instantly i informed makemytrip to reschedule it for september but there was no response from their end. They called me next day and asked me for cancellation and re-schedule penelty, also make my trip connected my call to the go airline and executive there also didnot helped me. Still there are 100days left to travel with the same ticked and they are asking me for the amount which is same as the ticket price. Please help me in providing me refund of my total amount.                                   On 25/08/2018 i booked railway ticket which is from delhi (Dli) to barmer (Bme) and train number is 14569 is confirmed from mmt and also received the sms from your side. The train was scheduled to depart on 26/08/2018, but on the morning of 26, i got the message from irctc, in which i had 6 waiting lists. After that at 2 pm i received the massage from mmt in which i had 9 waiting list.
                                  Then i call your mmt executive about this matter and she said that your ticket will be canceled automatically. But neither has any ticket canceling message nor refunds to me. And this is happening for the second time.
                                  Please reply asap.

                                    Booking was done 2 months ago for 15th sep departure ex del to bom & return 20th sep departure ex bom to del. Make my trip wrongly booked this for year 2017 instead of 2018 due to which my ticket stands cancelled as on date. Upon talking to mmt customer service this morning asking to correct and re-schedule for tomorrow departure they apologized for this it error and said the it desk will call in 72 days which means my scheduled date is anyways crossed. Due to this i had to re-book paying extra fare approx. Inr 5200 more. I need an immediate resolution and complete refund of the whole amount by mmt + compensation for the additional amount & agony i had to go through for this blunder done by make my trip.

                                      Even after a lapse of 12 days i am yet to get refund of rs.1988/- deducted from my account while booking a flight ticket from kolkata to bhubaneswar on 03.09.2018. Several times complain and phone calls have gone invain.
                                      Please ensure that my money is refunded as account has been debited in a failed transaction. No ticket has been booked in my name.
                                      Though someone from mmt assured me refund within 12 days i am yet to get my money back.

                                        On 11th of September, 2018, i booked a round trip from Kolkata (CCU) to Muscat (MCT) the booking was a failure as i was asked to wait for 30 minutes for the process, and then also i didnt get any confirmation; but the ticket fare amount was blocked. I contacted the customer service and they asked me to re-book it. I booked the ticket again via credit card.
                                        the customer care told me that my amount will be released. but till now my money is blocked. can you please release the blocked amount?
                                        since the booking was not confirmed, i dont have any booking id as well.

                                        i used my debit card to book the ticket. it is under the name Faisal Ahmed.
