    I had cancelled an international trip on August 30th. The customer executive told me that the refund will be credited within 3 working days. But it did not happen till now. Whenever I call the customer service they keep on giving inconsistent responses regarding the reason for the delay. After 3 working days they said, the bank will take another 3 working days making it a total 6 days. After 6 days when I called, they said the reply from airline is pending causing the delay. Now they are saying it might take up to 90 days since they have initiated some process which they called "RA".

    In fact, MakeMyTrip advertises on their app that the refund will be done in 12 hours. Right now I think I might never get even 1 rupee as refund from MakeMyTrip. The inconsistent and contradictory replies from the customer care makes me feel that they are trying to hide something and now they are not responding to mails also. This is my last attempt before moving to consumer court.

      Complaint:
      Booked airline tickets from makemytrip website using my mother's hdfc card [invoice screenshot attached for reference]. The hdfc offer at the time made us eligible for inr 10, 000/- cashback after 21 days from booking date. However, it is 53rd day from transaction/book date, today (September 17th, 2018).
      Q1) why such delay for cashback?
      Q2) who compensates for that?

      In addition, tried multiple times to reach all mmt customer care numbers [even other numbers than those on screenshot attached], none of which were available and disconnected the calls saying, "all lines are busy!". [did not pay inr 1, 52, 000/- for this harassment.]
      Q3) why take inr 2097/- as "convenience fee", when you aren't providing any "convenience"? [screenshot attached]
      Q4) who compensates for that?

      Expected resolution:
      Not only do i want the cashback as per the offer from them (Or hdfc) but also some compensation, since they've wasted my time, energy and spirits. Request you to take urgent action on this, please.

        Hi, i have booked ticket from make my trip from delhi to jammu for 2people and my mistake i booked it for december instead of november, instantly i informed makemytrip to reschedule it for september but there was no response from their end. They called me next day and asked me for cancellation and re-schedule penelty, also make my trip connected my call to the go airline and executive there also didnot helped me. Still there are 100days left to travel with the same ticked and they are asking me for the amount which is same as the ticket price. Please help me in providing me refund of my total amount.           On 25/08/2018 i booked railway ticket which is from delhi (Dli) to barmer (Bme) and train number is 14569 is confirmed from mmt and also received the sms from your side. The train was scheduled to depart on 26/08/2018, but on the morning of 26, i got the message from irctc, in which i had 6 waiting lists. After that at 2 pm i received the massage from mmt in which i had 9 waiting list.
          Then i call your mmt executive about this matter and she said that your ticket will be canceled automatically. But neither has any ticket canceling message nor refunds to me. And this is happening for the second time.
          Please reply asap.

            Booking was done 2 months ago for 15th sep departure ex del to bom & return 20th sep departure ex bom to del. Make my trip wrongly booked this for year 2017 instead of 2018 due to which my ticket stands cancelled as on date. Upon talking to mmt customer service this morning asking to correct and re-schedule for tomorrow departure they apologized for this it error and said the it desk will call in 72 days which means my scheduled date is anyways crossed. Due to this i had to re-book paying extra fare approx. Inr 5200 more. I need an immediate resolution and complete refund of the whole amount by mmt + compensation for the additional amount & agony i had to go through for this blunder done by make my trip.

              Even after a lapse of 12 days i am yet to get refund of rs.1988/- deducted from my account while booking a flight ticket from kolkata to bhubaneswar on 03.09.2018. Several times complain and phone calls have gone invain.
              Please ensure that my money is refunded as account has been debited in a failed transaction. No ticket has been booked in my name.
              Though someone from mmt assured me refund within 12 days i am yet to get my money back.

                On 11th of September, 2018, i booked a round trip from Kolkata (CCU) to Muscat (MCT) the booking was a failure as i was asked to wait for 30 minutes for the process, and then also i didnt get any confirmation; but the ticket fare amount was blocked. I contacted the customer service and they asked me to re-book it. I booked the ticket again via credit card.
                the customer care told me that my amount will be released. but till now my money is blocked. can you please release the blocked amount?
                since the booking was not confirmed, i dont have any booking id as well.

                i used my debit card to book the ticket. it is under the name Faisal Ahmed.

                  The above text i got from you. The amount deducted but ticket not booked. When i call your customer care, saying no booking on this no. What rubbish your customer care is. Even in ur website it is saying no booking in ur email id. Or in this no. How disgusting ur customer support. Very pathetic. Your customer support is very poor and not friendly. I 'll take strong action i[censored] 'll not solve the problem and my refund.

                    I have booked tickets from delhi to kochi from makemytrip. My flight from delhi to kochi was scheduled on 8-sep-2018. I have received a message from makemytrip that your flight has been cancelled by the airlines. But this flight was operational and due to this false message from makemytrip my trip has been spoiled. Now i want my return ticket cancellation without any penalties. Because this miscommunication was done by the makemytrip and why should i pay for someone's fault. Now makemytrip not accepting their mistake.

                    I have checked with the airlines and this flight landed at kochi (Cok) at 8-sep-2018. Now i didn't go to kerala because my flight has been cancelled. So my return ticket is going waste.

                    I would request you to kindly see the matter and cancel my return ticket without any penalties.

                      make my trip coupon not applied

                      I made a booking for the flight from patna to jammu (Booking id:nf[protected]) from my account ([protected][protected]@gmail.com). I applied the "mmtwedpr" coupon code and it showed me that the same successfully applied on my booking. But mmt says that it is not applied and because of that they can't process my cashback of rs. 1499/-. I contacted mmt support team and as per them i have not used that code for my booking whereas i remember clearly...

                      My husband and myself have booked flight to indonesia on 16th august 2018 separately. While i did miss to apply the coupon code of hdfcint for the cash back on my app, we made sure we booked thru that offer of hdfcint while booking for my husband on his account which has a cashback of 1200 when booked thru hdfc credit cards. It's been 21 days and we have not recieved the cashback, when we call and mail customer care, they are telling
                      That coupon code has not been applied instead freedom72 has been applied. We are 200% sure that we have booked thru hdfcint option for the booking id nn[protected], they are just telling it's not been booked under that offer. How easy it is for you make my trip to just come and say it's not been booked thru that offer since we can't show any proof. All these offers on mmt are just fake and uprightly play tricks on customers. I am for sure won't recommend this app to anyone anymore.

                      Yes, I see that screenshot has been shared and I see that a different code is shown there . But we are sure that we went to HDFCINT option and then booked the ticket thru that offer . Since I had missed that offer while booking my ticket, we made sure we didn't miss it while by husband's ticket booking.We waited till Thursday to book the ticket because the offer for HDFC cash back was on Thursday I! How can we be so sure that you would not have manipulated the code later after our booking at your end? You for sure know that there is no way we can confirm from our side.! Offers shown just to lure the customers, nothing of it will actually work. Highly disappointed !
                      I applied through same HDFCINT coupon. And my case is worse. Mmt say that coupon was not applied at all. Your post helped as I am going to file a consumer case against mmt if they dont give me my 10000 cashback. You being a victim too helps my case. Mmt guys u r free to contact me. [protected] is my number. Open challenge to you in court if you guys dont correct yourself.

                        I have 2900 cash in wallet and rest of the 1000 in wallet amount. When i used to add cash amount its give an error in because they block my wllet amount by saying misuse of wallet and it means we are using our money for booking the hotel or else and after free cancelling money goes to wallet cash which is not usable for another booking. I thing free cancellation we do beacuse we can cancel if we can show off for same in time. No clarification given by team just block my wallet by saying misuse. I cant even use my own money which is in mycash of mmt.

                          Sir/mamthis
                          is to inform that my family arranged a foreign tour to
                          malasia and thailand through ur patiala office starting from
                          16 aug to 23aug 2018. The cost settled was 51000 per person
                          for the whole trip hence i paid 2, 04, 000 for it.. Firstly we
                          were not given service voucher and hotel confirmation of
                          phuket till 15 aug eve. It was told that ur company will
                          charge 4000 rs more because of dollar upgrade. But i was
                          surprised that without paying this money u were not sending
                          voucher which was very wrong and the hotel at the last date
                          u booked for us in phuket was very poor in services and
                          location hence i was very disappointed because at the last
                          day before my departure i was not able to discuss the
                          hotel. Also u never requested veg meal or platter for us in
                          the flights and in hotel. We were very satisfied with the
                          hotels and services at malasia and genting. Now i want
                          to request that kindly refund my 4000 rs because i paid this
                          for services at phuket but we received nothing and due to
                          this we even cancelled our city tour of phuket. Pls take a

                            On 2/09/18 rs.1988/- debited from my account while purchasing flight ticket from kolkata to bhubaneswar thru make my trip. Account debited but ticket not booked.

                            On 04/09/18 rs.1774/- debited while booking flight ticket from kolkata to bhubaneswar thru make my trip again. Account debited but ticket not booked.

                            In continuation to my complaint lodged on 05/09/2018 let me thank your team for your quick response. I have got refund of rs.1774/- debited on 04/09/18.

                            But rs.1988/- which was debited on 02/09/2018 while booking ticket through "make my trip" has not been refunded yet.
                            "make my trip" opines that the refund will take at least 12 days for refund as payment is pending at their end. But while i don't get the ticket why refund shall not be made to me.

                            Pl. Look into the matter.

                              I had booked a international flight from make my trip subsequently i had to cancel the flight i asked them to put my refund of make my trip in thier wallet only to enable to do another booking .i tried to use the wallet money for booking .i could do only one booking from my wallet.i have more money in thier other wallets also .but when i go to thier payment page and try to redeem thier money there is a error problem in connecting to the bank.I am unable to understand why the error is coming because there is no reference of bank .It is in thier wallet and there is no linking with the bank.Once they have recieved wallet money it should be put to use in other bookings.pls note thier wallet money never expires which is lying in any cash account.only promotional money they give as bonus expires.this is my own my cash money resulting in airline refund done last year.pls enable to use my wallet money of make my trip

                                I have booked a ticket from coimbatore to bhubaneswar on 28th august the traveling the booking reference is nf [protected]. Due to a small mistake in the name of traveling passenger, i booked a fresh ticket correcting the passenger name within15minutes with your instructions. Since there are two pnr the concerned airlines cancelled the previous ticket bearing pnr-llngxe. The call center people indigo airlines assured me that the refund amount will be paid to make mytrip. I am waiting for the refund from u.

                                  I have booked ticket from pune to dhule for 20th jul 2018. On the day of journey bus operator called me and informed me about the bus strike on that day and the bus is cancelled. I raised refund request on 23rd jul 2018. Called customer care 6-7 times, each time the call operator told that at end of the day i will get refund it's been 45 days now, i am still waiting for refund or progress status of my complaint.

                                    We always prefer mmt for our holidays.. But this we faced many issues because of mmt.. We went to dubai this jan booked by mmt.. We faced lots of difficulties during our trip.. When we reached there our hotel was not booked and we didn't get any information about that.. Mmt promised ur for cash back for the issues we faced there.. They also promised ur rs 4000 cash back when we booked our tour.. Till now we also didn't get that money.. We r contacting there client but we are not getting any response.. It has been more than 5 months still we didn't get anything.. So please try to solve out these issues as soon as possible.

                                      I have booked a room in Hotel TRIVA in Trivandrum, Kerala, India for the day 04 September 2018, and Hotel authority refused to provide the room. They said that there is no rooms vacant at present and they cannot accommodate my family. Due to this deny of room we have got big trouble in getting another room and forced to get room another hotel room by paying higher money. Hotel booking confirmation is attached hereby.

                                      Last day I got a call from m/s Hotel TRIVA Trivandrum and apologized for the inconvenience caused. I am accepting their apology and would like to withdraw my complaint hereby.
