I have booked a Thailand package with Make my trip

Beware others. Ways by which they will loot you

1) Always change your transport to shared ones. If you book and pay for private transfers, MMT will automatically change yours to shared and cheat you
Customize the package and change transport to shared
I could have saved Rs 3000 per person but I went ahead with booking private transport and MMt changed it to shared without any reason.
Thus, I paid over Rs 6000 extra in the package price but still got shared transports

2) Always check their included activities in the customization tab
In Magical Bangkok and Pattaya supersaver pack - though they show all days at leisure, they are actually charging you for Coral island activity though they wont be providing the same
Again if you miss clicking on customization link, you will miss the hidden charge (you can unselect this activity and lower package price)
I again was a victim of this loot and was charged Rs 1100 per person extra and not provided the activity

3) Their website sells the indivdual transport and lodging at much cheaper rates compared to the package in which they will charge you thousands extra without providing any extra services.

No use of providing them booking id or raising n no of complaints. They will never admit of their ways
We are already fed up chasing customer service on this

    I booked a flight through makemytrip app and that flight got cancelled. I booked the ticket using nre account. As per customer service, the refund is already processed [ref[protected]]. Now its 1 weeks and still the amount is not yet credited to my account. I provided my savings account number and they replied that they cannot process to that account. You are responsible not only to process the refund, also you are responsible to check whether the processed amount retuned back to your account.

    I am a frequent traveler, i never had such experience from akbar travels, cleartrip or any other airline. Please process the amount properly and give me the status.

    I know that you processed it on 17th Aug 2018. I will follow-up with wat ???? did u provide the transaction details???? Did you ever transfer money to NRE account and it successfully credited??? I have sent my bank statements to you and the responses from the customer service is also not satisfied. Give me the proof that you processed the refund.

      I booked cab from haridwar to delhi international airport T3 on 21st August 2018 at 8.0 pm for 22nd August trip at 2.30 pm and 15 % advance deducted & booked confirmation came without any I'd shows that after 30 mnts came all details but Nat came I tried all customer care nos but failed to connect after 10-15 mnts call waiting on all nos.then I after too much wait after no any response booked another highly costly cab for trip just very toughly reached to airport.
      Just near to missed my flight.

        I have booked holiday Package for Kerala From Make My Trip. I have Booked my Holiday Package as on May 14th, 2018. I have Paid Full Amount as per Schedule but there is disaster formed in kerala, where the tourists got stucked in the hotels, landslides are being occurred in hill stations like Munnar and will take time to recover, also not safe for the travel and toursim as of now. When I contacted the MMT Customer Care, they said Toursim will start after 26th, 2018 however based on the situation in kerala on which no one can assure. Here my Problem is kerala places will not get recovered for the toursim which is my objective of the travel. Can you Please me in getting the refund of complete amount.

        I booked a room for my colleague via Makemytrip.com and when went to the hotel location the hotel doesn't exists.
        The phone number on the booking voucher is for another hotel.

        What makes me feel bad and astonished is how can makemytrip do i tie up without even verifying the hotel.

          Its been around one month make my trip has not refunded my amout inr, 9967 againt my international air ticket cancellation they are continouesly telling they have refunded the amount but the amout is no refelecting in my sb a/c and. The bank told me money is stuck in the payment gateway from which makemy trip has transfered so please help me getting my refund

            Makemytrip shows you an attractive price first and then finally the amount you pay is too large compared to the first shown price. Be cautious before you make the payment.

            Also you must check in another booking site, before making the payment in hurry.

            On a booking i made on aug 18th, they first showed the price is 18, 000, but in the payment screen the amount shown was 31, 000. They made tall claims this final price was after applying rs. 9000 discount + mmt wallet money

            I was totally disappointed when i saw the price to be less in another website without any discount applied. And the good thing is they straight away show me the final price i am going to pay; no gimmicks like makemytrip!

              I have booked 2 rooms using net banking when i tried to cancel it, the refund amount got stuck in mmt wallet and haven't been refunded to my bank account. The issue is, there is no such option to transfer the amount from mmt wallet to bank on the website. This the worst ever experience i have faced so far. And i regret using mmt for online booking,

                So the first thing is that the roof of the hotel was leaking and the water kept on dripping the whole night to which we informed the staff but nothing was done. Secondly you guys at mmt had two types of room, i specially booked the second type room which had garden view added in it for which i paid extra. But upon reaching the hotel we found out that in the name of view they have just placed a big picture of garden instead, in other they are creating a false option. Upon asking they said that they only have this type of room. And also on your website it was not mentioned weather its a picture or an actual garden. I am totally disappointed by this stay as also it was my first experience with mmt which has just dripped.

                  I had wrongly booked banglore to calicut round trip on 19th sep-20th sep instead of 19th aug-20th aug. I immediately called spice jet airlines and re did the booking and cancelled the 19-20th sep booking. Spice jet airlines has initiated full refund to your account but make my trip hasnt responded or reverted as yet. Im worried and disappointed. Request you to revert asap

                  Spice jet airlines has initiated transfer but am yet to receive it from your end
                  Amount of Rs. 365 has been deducted from my bank account for bus booking in SRS travels from udupi to mysore on 14 August 10:08 pm. But the seat was not booked.
                  The amount was deducted from Syndicate bank to 000hdfc[protected] MAKEMYTRIP INDIA. Please refund my amount.

                    Hi,

                    I had booked a holiday with my family for kerela for 1 week starting from 27th august and paid an advance of 18000 for this trip to makemytrip.

                    The current situation in kerela dont allow me to take risk of taking my kids to a trip where after effect of floods are in place, also we wanted to relax and enjoy the holiday rather than be in fear for the holiday so we decided not to take this trip and avoid any risk with my small kids. So i reached out to the makemytrip customer care seeking help in cancelling my holiday booking and consider a refund in this unforseen situation of flood. But the makemytrip customer care were very rude and replied to my that "first of all everything is normal in kerela now" and even after that if you wish to cancel you can do so with no refund from makemytrip side as per the policy. Today also there is a news that the cochi airport is shutdown for the reason well mentioned above. Do you think we should travel with my small kids and take the risk of travelling to a place where my kids might be vulnerable to various flood related diseases or just sit in the hotel room?

                    Kindly help and look into this, i am just asking to be considerate in this situation. I asked them is there any policy written for the case of natural causes like this? And they were so rude to reply that the policy says no refund so no refund.

                      Had a travel mumbai dehradun return

                      Jet reschedule the mumbai delhi flight which means i can't get my connection

                      Jet says mmt has to make the changes in the delhi dehradun flight

                      I have been trying to call the call centre you have an extension for cancellation but not for talking to a human to explain the problem

                      Miraculous ly now the mmt portal has stopped showing the mumbai delhi flight too

                      Their help section also has a captcha malfunction so no one can complain

                        company not offering the discount as mentioned in the ticket booking confirmation message sent by them

                        On booking domestic flight tickets with mmt, we were sent a message by mmt saying that we'd get 70% discount on domestic hotel bookings on giving the booking id as coupon. The discount given was lesser than any coupon and the customer care people only tranferred calls to different departments & mr debdutta said it was upto 70% which is not valid as it was not mentioned anywhere in the message that it was upto 70% off. They kept me on hold...

                        While booking a flight ticket from trivandrum to delhi (Return ticket also) on july 3, 2018 an amount of rs. 9855 got deducted from my bank account vide particulars medr/makemytrip i/686008/ and no booking was made. On contacting makemytrip, they told me to wait for 12 working days but i got no amount refunded. Then on 25 july they told me that the amount got stuck with the payment gateway and they have escalated the case to accounting team. Now almost 3 weeks have passed since 25 july but every time i contact makemytrip, i get only one reply that they are awaiting response from payment gateway.

                        Please help me in having my amount back to my account.

                          Horrible beds, the beds were full of dirt, the wash room shower flush was not working, tap water is not working. Overall pathetic, dint expect this from makemytrip. Booked 2 rooms from aug10 to 12th. Arrived on aug 11th at 5.45am. Will never book room on makemytrip

                          Get a complete overhaul o[censored]r live defects. Not sure i[censored] want to purposely cause headache to ur customers.

                            I had booked a hotel on makemytrip and paid rs11, 094. But for some reason i had to cancel it. The policy says i will receive my amount back by 3 days but it’s been more than that and my account is still not credited. Whenever i call the customer care they tell me wait for 24 hours for the last 5 days. They call me and say that the refund has already been done on 3rd but my bank statement doesn’t reflect it.

                              I was an extremely loyal customer and use to make all my travel booking via makemytrip because of which i was given the mmt black status. Because of mmt black makemytrip sent me an offer which entitled me to a free upgrade to vistara gold and that i just had to fill a form to get the status.

                              After filling the said form i was told to wait shortly for a reply (I have realized makemytrip shortly can mean a few weeks at times) after waiting for a week i wrote a complain stating that i was not provided with the said benefit. I received no satisfactory reply for weeks, the only reply which i used to get was a copy pasted answer everyday for 2 weeks by mrs tanvi which wrote please wait for another 24hrs.

                              After getting fed up of these emails i called the customer care demanding a justifiable answer to which the said that that the mmt black team would call me, i did receive a call the next day and it was mrs tanvi and she told me that i would receive the offer by the first week of august. As i did not receive the offer by the first week of august i again contacted customercare as i was not getting any reply from mrs tanvi (I must have sent her a dozen emails)
                              And i told them to connect me to their supervisor. I was connected to mrs swarnalata who told me to please wait for another 24hrs though it had already been 15 days since i had lodged the complain, guess what after 24hrs she call me up and tells me that i had to wait till the evening and before i could argue with her she cut the call. I waited till the evening of the 8th of august i did not receive a call, just an email stating that i had to wait for another 24hrs.

                              I really dont get it how can makemytrip treat its loyal customers which such service, i can only say that if takes them more than half a month to solve such a trivial issue and they are still struggling with it they are extremely incompetent and lethargic i suppose.

                                I had booked my flight tickets (Chandigarh to leh and back) on 7 july, 2018 booking id nf[protected] for rs 52, 142... However, after the transaction was completed the amount got debited rs 26, 161 from my bank account twice on 2 july... I have been in contact with makemytrip customer care and they have not been able to provide me with any help in this regard. It would be really helpful if you could put an eye on this issue and help me get my refund from the company.

                                  I write this e-mail with utmost disappointment & pain.

                                  Make My Trip has let-down the faith & trust I carried for their organization.

                                  I would like to write a brief summary of my concern which hasn’t been resolved yet;

                                  o I booked 4 flight tickets on (13th July 2018) for my family from Bangalore to Pune & Pune to Bangalore (Travel date 18th - 20th July 2018 – INR 20, 884/-) for a family emergency.

                                  o Later at the end moment, we found out that our booking had an error after calling MMT. Unsure if it was a system error or human; which had incorrect flight timings.

                                  o I did call MMT on 18th July early morning requesting for help. As a last resort, I was told to rebook & cancel the previous booking.

                                  o Trusting & having immense faith in MMT, I rebooked 4 tickets on MMT again for 18th - 20th July for Bangalore to Pune(Along with return tickets) which costed me more i.e. INR 29, 080/- additional against the first booking i.e. INR 20, 884/-

                                  o I raised a cancellation request for my first booking, (Travel date 18th - 20th July 2018 – INR 20, 884/-) for which I was promised a refund of INR 12, 532/- & I have not received the same.

                                  o PFA screenshot regarding refund.

                                  o For 18th July it was a ‘no show’ for (Bangalore to Pune), however, I had canceled the booking in prior on 18th July for a trip on 20th July (Pune to Bangalore ).

                                  o MMT is giving me a hard time saying I have selected an ’ incorrect option’ during cancellation process & I am not entitled to refund.

                                  o I have been waiting too long to hear from the delight team, they did not call me in the first place & when I tried to reach the Delight team on several attempts I was disconnected & I did not get a callback either.

                                  o I have been ill-treated by MMT customer care & given a run around several times.

                                  I see that MMT doesn't care a damn about their customers.

                                  All MMT does is wait for their customer to do the slightest mistake & then wait & loot them over for your profits.

                                  MMT doesn't even respect the fact that it was a family emergency.

                                  MMT doesn't see the fact, in spite of a system/human error for the first time during the trip to Pune, I still used your portal again & rebooked the tickets.

                                  MMT doesn't see the loyalty of their customer & how many times one has used their portal to buy flight tickets/hotels.

                                  In spite of so many e-mails to the company heads, MMT doesn't have a simple courtesy to call back & resolve this issue amicably, but MMT conveniently decides to close the case on their own will.

                                    While booking air ticket from Hyderabad to Kolkata on 01.08.2018, due to poor net connectivity after payment the transaction was aborted at the final stage of completion. However my account was debited with Rs 7717.Payment reference no.BIL/ONL/[protected]/MAKEMYTRIP/NF[protected] 579 CO.
                                    As per normal case the aborted transaction the debit is reversed within 24 hrs or max 72 hrs. Already 7 days have passed but the money has not been refunded. Also the toll free number options are designed in such a way that the scope for lodging complaint for aborted booking can not be given. Also there is no option for speaking to customer care executive. Even in the make my trip site complaint email or process is not easily available and it is not customer friendly.
                                    Hence it is very difficult for a customer to access the company for any complaint also the toll free no. published in the site [protected] is not accessible and it is announced as invalid no. while dialling the same.

                                      referral cash not credited

                                      I referred two of my friends yesterday and ensured that they downloaded the makemytrip application and entered my unique code but i have still not received the 2000 points per application as a referral bonus in my account.
                                      My email id is [protected]@gmail.com.
                                      I am still awaiting my 4000 points because once i get them i was planning to have at least another 10 or 12 of my friends download the application....
