Hi, i have raised a complaint from consumer complaints, reg they replied that send your contact number from mailid i have sent asap it’s been since 5days i have sent mail still no response from their side
I think they are showing off as they are serving people but reality is just copy paste only to all people
I felt waste of putting money in insurance company like this
See, i even called your customer care and asked to about solution and said i need to talk to your seniors they were like we wil make for call back. Is this way you serve people?
It’s nit about looting money, there should be some logic in rejecting claim, people here are not fool, even we have know logics

SIR, , KINDLY GO THROUGH THE CLAIM DETAILS OF 1ST AND 2ND CLAIM CHECK BOTH CLAIM IMAGES .1ST CLAIM WAS IN WORKING CONDITION AND NOT BREAKABLE .NOW 2ND CLAIM WAS IN BREAKGE DISPLAY AND NOT WORKING CONDITION, SO TWO THINGS ARE SAME?SEE IMAGE IN DOCUMENTS OF BOTH CLAIM
TRY GIVING PROPER REASON ELSE TELL THAT WE ARE JUST SIMPLE TELLING INSURANCE AND MAKING PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT YOU MAKING FAVOUR
AGAIN AM ATTCHING TWO CLAIM IMAGES, SEE THAT BOTH IMAGES ARE DIFFERENT (ONE IS NO DAMAGE I.E., CLAIM 1 AND OTHER IS DAMAGE I.E., CLAIM 2)

    Myself susil kumar,
    Received mail from my creditcard bank icici that rs-1399/- deducted from my credit card to one assist plan, for past 3 years. Every year i call coustomer care of oneassist to deactivate and refund, but only half of he charged amount only refunded. I want it to be permanently discontinued from this # plan which is no use for me.

      My one assist membership id is [protected]. My phone is redmi note 5 pro.
      Whenever i buy a mi mobile for personal use, for family or for friends, i always buy mi protect with it. To better safe than sorry. Mi protect is a service given by one assist.
      Few months back my phone fell off my hand & it got a depression between its volume button, my upper volume key was stuck, minor damage. So i filed a claim. When i checked the details of the time needed for the whole repair procedure, i decided to let it checked by the mi service center in my neighborhood. At the service centre they just pulled it outward and walla it was fixed just like that, it was just stuck. Now my problem was solved. So i didn't officially submitted the phone there. After getting home i cancelled my claim at one assist.in their response they demanded the jobsheet of the service centre. I explained to them the whole incident but they still insisted to get a jobsheet from service centre, so i contacted the service centre. Service center guy told me that my phone was not officially submitted & the official procedure for the repair is to change the entire back panel of the phone which is not covered under the warranty, so i have to pay for it. Then i'll be able to get a jobsheet of the work done on phone, which i ofcourse declined. I again explained the whole incident to the one assist & they told me to send them a detailed & explained email about it, which i did. After that they closed my claim. The matter was over. They didn't inform me that i'll effect my future claims. Damn cheaters.
      Now that my phone fell from my hand & its screen is damaged. I filed a new claim. My phone is still in the insured period. They asked me for necessary data and documents which i submitted. After a few days i got a call from one assist saying that their insurance partner refused my claim because i didn't submit the jobsheet of service centre for the previous claim. I was just stunned at their response... Stunned. Why didn't they told me that they will not take my future claims at the time of cancelling my previous claim, and from where will i get a jobsheet when there wasn't any job done on it. My volume key was just stuck, it was pulled randomly by service center guy at the reception and it got fixed. No harm done.
      I am telling you guys don't take this fraud company insurance, they will use any small matter to not provide the service which they promised while taking your fraud company.
      The sad part is i still have 5 other insured product from them, never gonna renew them. Never gonna buy a new one. They broke a consumer's trust.

        Recently purchased a brand new watch from an apple premium reseller named unicorn infotech solutions for 43, 900 and they suggested to get the watch insured for 3, 000 with one of their partners, one assist in the presence of their one assist agent trying to ensure that all of the problem that i would face would be covered regarding my watch. That would include all kinds of accidental, liquid, hardware and all the problems that one might face.

        Much to my disheartenment i had "unwillingly", "unknowingly", "accidentally", "unintentionally" (Please note that all these factors comes under the clause in their terms and conditions suggesting that either one of these points will help me get my claim) dropped my watch which led to the screen shattering. This prompted me to file for a claim with one assist and they sent over one of their agents to collect my watch and a few days later gave me the update stating that they had sent my watch to a service centre and an estimation cost which accumulated to "26, 500" was given to me which the company were going to pay for as per the insurance policy. And then a few days later, they had rejected my claim based on the description that i had provided on the incident, with one of their agents explaining to me over the phone that since there was no external force, they have rejected my claim.
        This came much to my surprise because after reading their terms and conditions that even if there was no external force, they still would approve my claim on the other 3 factors, "unwillingness" and "accidental". The description of the incident that i had provided beforehand which would make any sensible and even non-sensible person in this whole world to accept the fact that it was indeed an unwilling accident as, i would not want to willingly shatter my watch on the ground that i had spent months saving for. One assist completely disowned my claim giving me various reasons at first for there not being any external force and later on stating that it was because of "improper handling".

        The word "improper handling" does not have many but one meaning, singularly stating that one must have handled a certain object in the wrong/unusual way. How pathetic can a company be to stoop so low as to configure and state "improper handling" as an excuse and reason for the rejection of the claim.
        My claim description was in the lines of "the watch, while undressing myself, unknowingly unhinged itself and fell to the ground".
        And this was deemed as improper handling. The irony is that i was being blamed after only 3-4 days of buying my watch by oneassist that i had purposely broken my own watch.

        Was i swinging the watch in the air? No.
        Was i throwing my watch left and right like a ball? No.
        Did i "intentionally" drop my watch to the ground? No.

        And i was deemed insane by the oneassist customer support who would promise me that i would get to talk to their supervisors in 24hours on 3 different instances but not even a single message, call, mail or anything.

        This is what their terms & conditions for product under their "wearable" "accidental & liquid damage" plan is which i had bought.

        1.7 “accidental damage” mean damage to the insured product due to unintentional drop or collision of the insured product or any object falling on the insured product or due to accidental external means.

        And 4 factors are clearly stated that could be availed either way because of "or" but, one reason initially stating "no external factor" and then "improper handling".

        No wonder there are thousands upon thousands of complaints by consumers available to read so easily on the internet against one assist by just typing their company name on any search engine. I wish i would've come across these complains and reviews before i trusted both the apple premium reseller who has partnered with a company of this caricature or even the fraudulent company itself. And the funniest part is i haven't even received my 43, 900 apple watch back.

        I have already filed an fir and mailed and currently in talks with apple to look into their indian counterparts which would be the authorised premium reseller to not let a company who dooms people into a partnership as it is not providing its services based on its own terms & conditions.

        Much to my relief i have also used the consumer court forum which would greatly help me as i have gone through the worst experience mentally and emotionally consuming my work hours, wasting my days following various dead-ends by being fooled following the instructions that lead to no where.

        My client number regarding the case was 3836804, which is quite useless to post but writing just to showcase one of the hidden readers who might be connected to oneassist to be aware of the consequences that they would face.

        Thank you for furthermore giving me more proof on the issue regarding my case as to why it would indeed assist me in pursuing legal actions on the basis of my compilation of various information provided by OneAssist and Team regarding my case.
        Since I have again been termed as someone who would break my own watch from "Improper Handling" I would like to make your attention turn towards your own clause under your terms & conditions for my Insurance Plan.

        If "Unintentional Drop" under clause 1.7 is regarded as "Improper Handling" then thank you for assisting me once again.

              Hi,

              When i purchased mobile from mi, took the one assist mi protect one assist insurance. On jan second when i raised a claim due to device fallen in water, they simply rejected the claim. Surprised from their response i asked on it and they said the reason is due to negligence or improper handling, then why they are highlighting liquid protection. I have heard from my friends as well these one assist insurance is fraud and they simply rejects the claim without any reason.

              Request you to please take action against such insurance companies and help me in getting the money back.

                  I bought a airtel secure one assist plan and my handset got broken when i raise a claim they reject my claim and they said due to your mistake handset broken we will not approve the claim, horrible services please dont buy this airtel secure one assist plan, they rejected my claim due to silly reason handset broken due to consumer mistake. I am also going to forward this case in consumer court. 3835175 my claim number.

                    I have also raised a claim service request no. 346224. At that claim my phone display is in "usable condition with no certain damages" i have raised claim m because getting strike lines in display as i has fallen from my had, they rejected the claim telling it was due to negligence, as i was in usable condition i dint make it serious

                    Next week unfortunately meet with accident with wounds and damage in display, raised claim given descriptions on 29th dec 2018 and added documents everything, secure assistants called me and said about missing documents/documents are not clear, i did everything as the said,. After a day, secure people called me telling that it cannot be claimed because"your 1st claim is rejected so we cannot approve this"

                    Secure executive replied that if yours handset is repaired you need to show job sheet of first claim it seems, as my phone was in usable condition and no damage why would i go and rectify also dont know why they are so concerned about 1st claim, since it was a major damage am requested for 2nd claim

                    All the above has been told by airtel side, that one assistant has rejected not from airtel itseems, not sure how true it is

                          I took a personal loan from Kotak Mahindra and after some time when I checked it got charges of 3999 for one assist. I was never informed about what service it is. When I took a top up on same them also I have been charged again for it for 3999.
                          I talked with one assist and there was unprofessional response stating no money will be refunded. these guys are fraud and looting customer. I have received an email as well regarding the services were not activated and it will be refunded whereas no money received till now.
                          Fraud and horrendous crime they are committing and cheating customers. I will be escalating this issue to social media even banks should avoid these fraud scammers

                          This one assist is doing scam and cheating customers of there money. I have raising this issue again and again and soon will be going legal for it. Harassing people with there unknown charges and making them chase for money. They are purchasing customer data as a frafulent activity which is against the goverment policies. Very soon I will be sharing the detail of there internal system of working and how they are getting fradulent data and details of people.

My simple question is that when I received an email that services were not activated and amount will be refunded back then why its not being done.                                 I'm using icic credit card. From your i received call saying that we are from icic bank we are deducting amount for annual charges for using icic credit card.
