Dear sir,

This is to bring to your notice that,
I had a booking on 25. Mar.2019 at saharanpur.
Oyo 29028 hotel rajpushp, booking id: ldqu7863
@ room tariff is rs.1121 /- and this tariff is
Inclusive of: complimentary breakfast, free wifi, service charges and central & state goods & services tax.

When i asked for bill at the hotel counter, the hotel owner gave me two options.

Option - i
Pay 12% gst on your booking amount and take bill.

Option - ii
Take a bill of less than 1000/- and no need to pay gst.

I argued with them and shown them oyo booking conformation mail received on 23. Mar.2019 where it is clearly stated that,
Room tariff is rs.1121 /- and this tariff is
Inclusive of: complimentary breakfast, free wifi, service charges and central & state goods & services tax.

Finally they disagree and therefore i had called to oyo customer care, my service request number is 14036054. Costomer care and hotel owner has a conversation with no result and finally i had paid 12% gst extra. This is monopoly and black mail.

This hotel is not having power back up and there was a power cut in the evening and i was forced to sit inside the room in darkness. They dont have any emergency lighting system.

I have two different bills for the same room, same date & time same guest, same city, same hotel. One from oyo rooms for rs. 1121/- which is inclusive of all the taxes (Room rent is rs. 1001 & gst is rs.120/-) and another bill from the hotel for rs. 1256/- with 12% extra gst. (Rom rent rs.1121 & gst rs.125/-) by this i have paid gst of 120+125 = rs. 245 /- which should be for a room rent of rs.2042/-.

I raised this issue to oyo room by e. Mail: [protected]@oyorooms.com

The response received is very strange.

Oyo is claiming that, rs.125/- has been charged extra for providing me an extra bed.

I had booked a classic room with 2 bed for one guest. When i have booked a room for one person, and 2 beds are already there, what shall i do with the 3rd bed.

Oyo's claim of providing extra bed is false.
Oyo is the 1st hotel chain in the whole universe who charge 12 % extra gst on providing extra bed.

    My booking id-aetd5743, i booked a room on 4th april 2019, as i reached the hotel and met the frontdesk, the receptionist while handling the key told me before hand that the tv (Setup box) is not working from past 1week, i immediately told him that i want to cancel the booking as i wanted tv working in room. So when i called oyo customer care and told them that i want to cancel booking and want a full refund, as they kept me on hold for 1.5 hours for confirmation from senior authorities. A senior executive after few minutes called me back named (Narendra choudary) [protected]@oyorooms.com, i told him that i have already spoke to two of his executives regarding the issue, and they both had confirmation from hotel frontdesk that the tv is not working from 1 week. I told them to check the call recording and seek proofs from the recordings, which i am not sure whether they have done or not.in the recording there is clear evidence that the oyo customer care spoke to the frontdesk person and took authentication and also confirmed that the tv is not working. But still after all these 3hours of my talk they refuse to refund my money due to their cheap cancelation policy. My final word is that, the problem is clearly on their side and they want me to take another hotel room from oyo which i refused because i was standing outside for 3hours with luggage and family. I will never book a room ever in oyo again. I want my refund back. Thank you

      I checked into day inn oyo room chennai on 3rd april in chennai (Id zovt4682). The hotel and the room were nowhere close to the image and reviews that were put on oyo. The staff was unruly and fearing my life i checked out within 15 minutes. The unruly staff however made me pay the full amount of rs 6385 for the 2 rooms for the duration of 2 days that i had booked in. I paid the money and attaching the invoice and the check-in details of the same. However when i called the oyo customer care they keep telling me that there was a no-show and despite them seeing the invoice copy on their system they keep telling me that the property has put a no-show on my booking. I have called atleast 10 times and everytime i get the same answer that a senior manager will call me back. I got an email from mr. Arijit (Who i have marked on the email) asking for a copy of the invoice. But nothing has moved post that mail.
      Kindly let me know why i am being dragged into this mess and when i will get my full refund

        I've booked a room at hamara hotel, kuttanellur, thrissur around midnight of 04/05/2019 and got an sms message that my room booking is confirmed. I was travelling all the way from calicut to trivandrum and thought i will take rest and proceed further in the morning. So i stopped to book oyo 30272 hamara hotel at kuttanellur, thrissur.
        I've made a similar booking exactly 8 days ago around the same time and i stayed there and it was pleseant. It was the same guy who was at the reception then. It was based on this experience that i've made another booking and this guy (He introduced himself as mr jeslio) said early check inis not allowed. I conveyed to him that ive stayed here last week exactly at the same late hour and i was allowed a room then and said u can verify the records with them. Though i expected him to assist me and find me a solution he instantaneously said i was lying. That was the shocking bit of the whole incident. How can anyone in a hospitality industry call a customer a liar without checking the facts??? I showed him the sms i got then and he was still arguing. He said in order to allow early check in i need to pay around 2400 for a room that i had booked for 1160. I thanked god that i din't bring my family here to suffer this insult at 12:15 am after a long drive and all i wanted was a little bit of rest. Consider this as a cautionary warning... Do not think about staying here unless you want to be humiliated...

        I wrongly booked single occupancy room and already the hotel has taken 2500 rupees in place of 1600 from me now they are creating further problems and calling me at 2 am. This is not tolerable. Hotel jewel palace habibganj

          I had requested for early check-in at 6:30 am... As their scheduled time for check-in is 12 pm.. I paid 200 extra for early check-in... And i had checked out at 11:50 am...
          But still they charged me for the whole day... Which is 700...
          I didnt even stay for the day which they are charging me... I checked in on 3rd april 6:30 am and checked out at 11:50 in morning... And on 4th april they have showed as check out by me... They are not even showing the correct check out in the app... I had train on 3rd april how can i check out on 4th april... They have charged me 900 for whole stay...in the bill they are not displaying the extra fare

              When i was moving in oyo living (Now oyo life) i was asked to pay the rent and security deposit earlier. I was moving in by 1 jan 2019 so i was supposed to pay my rent before moving in. When i payed the rent for first time it was failed, but the rent amount rs.12000 was deducted, so i've paid the rent again. The transaction was done on 28 dec 2018. I didn't refund till now (3 apr 2019). When contacted bank they told me that it was a valid transaction and approved by oyo, but when contacted oyo they are always asking for 3 days time to reply to my query and they are saying that the refund has been provided by 28 dec 2018 itself, but i've not received any. I've mailed them and contacted them through phone, but they are not responding correctly nor giving an answer. Even today (3 april 2019) they asked for 2 to 3 days extra for confirmation. I've attached my statement below as i have'nt received any refund from oyo.

                I am trying to book about 10-12 rooms through oyo. The same being a bulk booking i contacted the customer care 06 (Six) tines. On inquiring upon the details about the facilities & rooms etc. The customer care executive assured me to revert back. But i am sorry to report that after so many repeated calls none of your executives turned up.
                So please provide the exact procedure for the same as this is not expected from such a reputed firm.
                This being my last attempt to contact you, i hope the things work out in a positive direction.

                  I paid 640/- using my debit card. The oyo app malfunctioned and said the payment for booking could not be completed due to a technical error. However, the amount got deducted from my bank account. Customer care executives are adamant i have not paid any amount whereas my bank statement says otherwise. Please resolve this issue and refund me at the earliest as i had to pay again by cash at the hotel.

                  I refer my friends in refer and earn period i earned 8950 oyo rupee only 4950 oyo rupee credit in my account i called customer care again and again they said sir please wait in 24-48 hrs your issue will solved but today more then 40days but my problem not sloved oyoacc.[protected]

                    Though i was regular customer of oyo but for the first time i was denied to check in oyo 13588 mahaveer international, varanasi even i paid the total amount ie. 693 at the time of booking from the app.
                    The hotel reception guys along with hotel owner are so rude and savage. When i asked for my booking they said that no rooms are vacant. Atleast 3-4 times they said in more rude and taunting tone that 693 rupees me kaha room milega (Where will you get a room at rs. 693). Due to which i suffered alot.

                        Hello,

                        I booked a room at oyo 16723 on the oyo app.

                        When we reached the hotel for check-in, the hostel staff informed us that the cooling in air-conditioner is low and requested us to adjust. We happily agreed to adjust a bit. However, the ac wasn't functional at all.

                        On request of room change, the staff said it is the last room available, so we decided to leave and cancel the booking. Then the staff showed us 2-3 more rooms and in no rooms the ac was functional.

                        I can understand ac not functional in a room due to some technical problems, however ac not functioning in any room is unacceptable.

                        Morever, the hotel staff has no manners to talk to a female, and they are overtly rude and ill-mannered. I request the oyo authorities to speak to the hotel owner and if possible remove the hotel from the partners list.

                        Dirty rooms, unclean bedsheets, cockroaches, ill rude staff, this experience is not at all acceptable from a brand like oyo.

                          This regarding water shortage.We are staying at 1st cross road, shriharipriabhwan OYO apartment.its a studio PG. Seriously it is really bad experiance with OYO.I will never recommend any of my friend to stay in oyo . OYO is offering carless services to their customer.It has been two days we are struggling for water. Even we don't water for washroom.Tommorw is office and we don't have water to wash clothes..This how your are taking care of your customer????

                            Dear sir,
                            I booked hotel park palace oyo 22683 for dates 02/01/2019 - 04/01/2019.
                            And also payed the total amount rs. 7925 at the time of chech-in.
                            But later on due to poor service by the hotel, i modified my booking 02/01/2019 - 03/01/2019. And my refund amount of rs.4515 was processed
                            Later on only Rs.3275 was refunded to my bank account
                            But the amount supposed to be refunded was Rs.4515 but the amount actually refunded was Rs.3275 that is less than the promised amount.
                            The refund amt.Rs.1240 is not yet credited to my bank account. As discussed with OYO, they are telling that the amount is transferred to my bank account whose details are :

                            UTR: KKBK[protected]
                            Date:[protected]
                            For booking: UVPN3508

                            I had also attached bank statement around this date.

                              Hi Sir,

                              My booking id: BWKP5783 and booking were 1st Feb'19 to 5th Feb'19 and booking was prepaid. I have checked. in 1st Feb and as the room was NOT suitable, I had checkout 1st Feb within 9 PM after discussion with OYO customer support. As per support suggestion, I had agreed with pay two-night amount and they told me rest of two-night amount will be refunded on my account. Also Support told, DUE TO SOME TECHNICAL ISSUE they cannot checkout me right now and ensured me that next day morning means 2nd Feb, i will automatically CHECKOUT from OYO system. Depend on this all telephonic, I have l physically left from the hotel at 9PM 1st Feb.

                              At Nextday, i had wait till evening but till I was not checking out, Soi call them but they do not take any action and just told me they are checking the issue.

                              After that next day, i have contact them via email at Feb 3, 7:09 PM
                              over "Booking( BWKP5783 ) Escalated, Hotel - OYO 22673" and till i was not checkout from OYO, where i already leave this hotel 2days ago.

                              At last, I go to Social media at 4th Feb and got a reply from Oyo Social media support team on the telephone and email. Email title is "Social Media Escalation #6196709" and they told me that refund of INR '2409' against Booking ID #BWKP5783 within 7-14 working days of receiving the required information. i have share required detail on the same day.

                              After 14 working days, I have contacted them again at March 8rd march weekend again told me it will take more 7-14 working. but the same happen amount is not refunded. At last, I have contact again 24 march but the same word, they are looking.

                              They are behaviour is really bad and they had given fake promising over the refund. My Amount should be refunded as per as their conversion and policy.

                              Please look at this issue asap and give my money refund

                              Also, take a serious action of their policy over their refund policy,

                                We booked a room in oyo townhouse sector 14 Gurgaon. The room was stinking due to seepage.The room was in deplorable condition. It wasted our two hours and gave us mental agony.We asked the customer care to refund our money plus compensate us because booking any other property at moment costed us a lot of money and time. They didn't have any answer and till now we didn't receive any refund. They didn't pay heed to our issue rather asked us to give them time to discuss with their seniors. It wasted our time and at the end we didn't get any refund. There was actually no single person answerable to our problem.

                                  We are writing from North East Residents Welfare Association of Kalyan Nagar Bangalore

                                  This is regarding the OYO facility “Ashberry” OYO 10232 based at #423, 8th Main, 1st Block, HRBR Layout, Kalyan Nagar.

                                  The above facility is creating a lot of nuisance in our peaceful neighbourhood. Moreover several notices have been issued by the local city corporation (BBMP), Recommendation from the local Police Station for Death, Rape & illegal activities, letters to authorities from residents for the complaints of nuisance, etc. Proof attached.

                                  You should also be aware that as per Strict Guidelines in “Revised Master Plan 2015” – “Zoning of Land Use & Regulations” approved by Government of Karnataka Vide: G.O. No UDD 540 BEM AA SE 2004, Dated:[protected] as part of the Revised Master Plan 2015.

                                  Table on Page 18, point 10 clearly mention the dimension of Plot size and road width required for Service Apartments. Here the requirement for Service Apartment is 18 Meters Road Width (60 Feet Road) & Minimum Plot Size of 500 Sq.M (5300 Sq.Feet) and Page 48 Parking of 800 Sq.Feet is required.

                                  In the case of OYO 10232, it is built on 1200 Sq.feet Plot, has only 40 feet road and has no parking facility.

                                  Keeping the above track record of the illegal activities and non compliance, the Health Department (BBMP) has rejected their trade licence (See Attachment). Right now they are functioning without a valid trade licence to support your organisation (OYO) as a Service Apartment Partner.

                                  Your association with such partners will only damage your Brand & Reputation. Your (OYO) team must check Government Compliance in respect to the properties of your partners before getting them on board. Not sure how your internal teams in Bangalore have inspected, ignored and approved such accommodations. This puts the safety of your customers into serious risk.

You don't run out of your automated responses and no one actually resolved my issue or even tried to follow up. Every time i call i get a new ticket id assigned by a guest experience manager.                                       The payment for the booking was already done through a debit card. I reached my hotel at 1 am on 29th march. After reaching the hostel the counter manager refused to accept my online booking & ask me to pay the total amount in cash. At the time i was helpless so paid the amount of 3600 in cash. I asked for the bill, the manager said i will send it to your room. Next morning i called oyo customer care and they asked me for the bill. I went to the hostel counter, they said that the manager is not here, when he comes, we will give you the bill.

                                      I think there is a scam going on in this hotel. I request you to take action against the hotel.

                                      I want my refund as soon as possible.

                                        I have booked hotel through oyo rooms, employees were really unprofessional, they misguided me regarding the location of the hotel, i waited more than one hour because of them in hot summer day with two small kids and two senior citizens, than after reaching hotel they don't even provided a glass of water to us, we ourself went outside and purchased water. There were some construction work was going on, i placed order for my lunch they make me wait for one hour and tha provided totally cold food, and said they purchased it from the shop in front of them. Again i went outside to purchase my food after waiting one hour, they have wasted whole my day.
