1) 28th feb, 2:55 pm: i am informed by the oyo guest experience manager monika that they cannot refund my payment to source and i have to submit my bank account details.

She also tells me that they have initiated my refund - i don't know what that means as i haven't provided my bank account details yet.

2) 10 days later - i speak to mr. Sanjeev who tells me that the refund has been processed to source and i should wait another 7 days for it.

I have never had to wait for more than 5 days for an online refund and it's already been 10 days now. Clearly oyo is doing something with my money.

    Oyo rooms has not provided me with gst invoice for booking id yhtv1649. They have provided me only with reciept. On 5/march during my checking i called their customer care and informed that i was not able to update gst details through their app. Customer care representative told me that they will update my gst details and provide the tax invoice only after checking out.

    I called them on 10 march and i was told that they can not provide gst invoice with my details as i had already checked out. I have recordings of both the conversations.

    I request the oyo rooms team to provide me with gst invoice with my details.

      My booking id is fial4516 in 14993 oyo rp palace for your reference.
      Issues i faced are as follows:-
      1. Very small room not more than 8x8 feet.
      2. Dirty room.
      3. No water.
      4. No wifi.
      5. No body to attend to issues mentioned.
      6. Dirty toilet.
      7. Used un packed soap.
      8. Torn and old bed sheet.
      Pls find photo attached.
      Note:- tried contacting oyo customer service but no use i even tried cancellation but the money gone was gone. I think i deserve a big compensation from oyo for this.

        We made a booking for sparrow inn hotel at alwar through oyo. Payment was made in advance. The booking was done on 26/02/2019 for the future date 09/03/2019 and the booking is wucv2035. But today on 09/03/2019 when we reached hotel for check in we got to know that they don't have any tie up with oyo. On calling customer care, executive said they will not be able to provide us room in the said hotel. And the executive was not at all helpful and was acting like a robot, giving solution which wasn't acceptable. This is the second time we are facing this issue.in the month of january this year we faced similar kind of issue in jaipur. The service of oyo is one of the worst. They cheat the customers. Solution which oyo was providing, shifting to a nearby hotel. Once the guest had reached the hotel oyo wants them to go to a different location which causes inconvenience and additional conveyance charges which oyo is not going to compensate. Secondly what kind of hotel they are shifting is not guaranteed. The lady called shivani on the call from oyo customer care was acting like an #. When asked her to transfer the call to manager she didn't do that. She assured me that hey manager will call me back in 10 minutes but it's been an hour i didn't receive any call yet.

          I need gst invoice as per government rule. Even our company phoenix contact india does not accept the hotel bills without gst.

          I have done multiple requests to hotel brij inn and oyo rooms regarding my gst bills. But they are just trying to avoid it; yet not provided me gst bills.

          The same response, I am getting on phone that we are checking and will be processed in 24 hours. But yet I have not received GST invoice. You have to provide GST bills by default; and once I request why are taking so much time. You know how much problem we need to face without proper TAX invoice.

          Its my humble request to you please provide me TAX invoice copy on today itself. Please be professional.

              This complaint is in reference to the booking id IAQJ1079,
              I have had already made a complaint and am after it since almost two weeks.

              I have talked to several guest appearance managers who could understand my issue and had also sent me an email for my refund. After that they called me and denied from the refund.

              I have continuosly tried explaining and giving my clarifications but the mangers show no responsibility and just try shedding of their hands from probing and providing a solution to me.

              Acted so vaguely and was reluctant to understand my issue and simply denied hereafter to refund me my money.

              I talked to Monica(manager), who understood me well but didn't even email me or took any actions.

              Here after I talked to someone named Ahmed of the same designation, who assured me of sending me an email of whatever investigation or steps that would be taken to resolve this. So that I have a proof of talking to someone.
              He bluffed me again with no call backs or any emails.
              I don't remember the names of several mangers I talked and they never showed up.
              This is ridiculous and quite unprofessional.

              The goo[censored]p was created by a third oyo agent to whom I just called for fetching details about the hotel premises had booked.
              He tried to woo me to get a booking only through him and when I didn't, he deliberately made a booking in my name where I had already booked and perhaps also canceled my previous booking which I got on a lesser price through phonepe app.

              Now, while checking out from the hotel, the management asked me to pay the higher amount which was booked through that oyo agent and me having no time had to pay the full amount which I wasn't supposed to.

              The mangers act so stupidly and just can not understand that. I have even asked them to hear the phone recording of the agent if they don't believe me. Why would I be making two bookings in my name in the same hotel, on the same day and that too with a higher price of 376.

              I hope you would understand all the goo[censored]p if read my long emails sent to me bivek or back track my booking id.

              No one even bothers to answer customers emails. This was really the worst experience one could ever have.

              However if someone responsible reads this email and tries to solve the issue and refund my money, he or she would be greatly appreciated.

                Hi,

                Mr. Rahul kumar (Rahulkumarr. [protected]@oyorooms.com) who is from the sales department of oyo had contacted me regarding getting a room in varanasi.

                I had then mentioned i wanted a room which was couple friendly and also close to the temple.

                So i booked a room at (Hotel name: hotel chaitanya inn
                Ph. No. [protected]) by paying an amount of rs.17210 using my credit card.

                But when my client (Mr. Vishwanadha varma) reached the location it turned out to be nearly 2 hours away from temple and even his car couldn't enter the lane to the hotel.

                That hotel premises was remotely located due to which he had to step out of the car and walk for a long distance. After reaching out to the property owner (Hotel name: hotel chaitanya inn
                Ph. No. [protected]), he informed the client that the hotel is in the total opposite direction from the temple. Also the route from the hotel to the temple is very haphazard.

                Based on this the client booked another hotel and this particular booking (Id: nuof8590) was made as a no show.

                After this happened despite multiple calls to oyo customer care where i had a number of chats with customer care executives and "guest experience managers" no refund has been initiated. During these talks i had to connect to the hotel proprietor and the customer as well for their input but to no avail.

                At first the various customer care executives and "guest experience managers" said they will initiate the refund asap but later they said i have to contact the sales agent whose details i mentioned above for the refund but there is no way to reach him via phone. The customer care refused to give his number to me. They only provided the above mentioned email id which is not accepting emails from outside oyo probably because of a firewall.
                So now i am unable to reach him in any way.

                Many tickets have been raised in their portal for the same but of no use to me.

                I now need a resolution for the following from oyo:

                1. Your so-called trained customer care executives have been telling me to reach the sales agent without giving me proper contact info. So how can i reach him because my mails are not reaching him due to your firewalls? Also you people are unable to give me his phone details.

                2. About the refund, how soon can i expect it as it has been 4 days since this ordeal has started for me?

                3. For your information this property was suggested by the sales agent of oyo who totally misguided me since i have no idea about varanasi. It was utterly a disastrous mistake on his part for booking this hotel for us. So it is in no way that it is my mistake which oyo is trying to claim.

                4. Again if you want to know more information about this please contact the hotel proprietor (Hotel name: hotel chaitanya inn
                Ph. No. [protected]) for the same.

                5. Since the hotel person is saying that the amount was not received by him also, where has the money gone?

                So to finish my concern i would like all the above complaints to be resolved asap.

                  I have booked OYO rooms at hotel brijj in as professional tour from dated 25.02.2019 to 1.03.2019 (4 days).
                  I need GST invoice as per government rule. Even our company Phoenix Contact India does not accept the hotel bills without GST.

                    As promised during the booking of the hotel the below things are to be provided by oyo but they didnt provide me.
                    I booked a home with kitchen with booking id "fltd7542", the failde to proide the below facilities.
                    # attached kitchen, with minimum utensils to cook and serve the own food.
                    #induction stove to cook food.
                    #bed sheets
                    #bath tavals
                    #toiletry kit
                    #television is not working
                    #room is not clean as expected, they are cleaning the premises of room after we have checked in
                    #reception guys are rude against the customers
                    #raised issue regarding this but didn't receive any response from the oyo team
                    #almost called 20 times to get the issue resolved, but i didn't get any response from oyo team
                    #each and every customer representative has promised that i will get a call from the concerned team to resolve the issue.. But i didn't get any response.
                    #customer support is not responding i have raised 2 complaints regarding this but didnt get the proper response.
                    #instead i asked them to chanage the room, but they failed to do so.
                    # i have all the issues because of that room in oyo so i asked to refund my money back as i was not satisfied.

                    I got the call but they are behaving in a rude manner, like they are blaming me that they have provided all the things which have mentioned. As a customer I know whether they have given those things to me or not. If required I can even provide evidence from two of my friends who stayed in the same room with me on that particular day. If needed will produce as evidence not a problem.
                    Regarding the booking, i have called the customer representative to confirm whether i will be provided the kitchen with minimun requirements for cooking or not. As per the call he said like they will defnitely provide those things.Beacuse of that confirmation only i made the booking confirmed.
                    After checking into the room again I called the customer they said like they will work on that.I even asked them to change the rooom if they cannont provide kitchen. But they didnt do that and they even not responded on that day. Instead they are responding after raising the consumer complaint.
                    But as I recieved the call from OYO guys he is literally blaming me that they have given all the things like toiletry kit, bath tavals and bed sheets.But I didnt get those things at all, I have evidence of two of my friends who stayed with me on the same day in the same room.

                      Last tuesday i had used your app to book hotel at mahipalpur
                      I called hotel reception and asked them if i check in before 12pm
                      They said yes sir you can we've rooms available here
                      At 10:45 i check in
                      But the hotel staff asked rs 200 extra for early check in
                      I don't know what kind of staff they are
                      In addition to it at 1:30 pm, got a call from reception that you've to check out
                      Because our license is cancelled.
                      And hotel is about to close now

                      I asked them for refund
                      But they said we're sorry sir but our hotel is about to close
                      Please understand our situation..
                      And now they are open
                      And available rooms on oyo app

                      Dear sir
                      They are making your app worsed for the customer
                      Please take some action against it
                      And help me out to get my money by
                      Cz i've paid 900 rs just for 2 hours approx

                        1. I called the customer care and asked the customer care agent to book a room for me in white town, puducherry. However, the agent book the hotel 2.2 i'm away from white town.

                        2. The hotel was terrible. The rooms were like a pigeon hole. The bedsheets were dirty. The service provided was pathetic. When i asked for plates, i was handed the plate to take it to my room. For 2 litre water bottle, i was charged rs. 10 more than m. R. P. I was coerced into paying tip and then paying more than what i intially offered for the terrible service.

                          No one helped me from the oyo team at all, they don't understand the situation i had faced that day.
                          Apcj1568 is booking id and 13089575 is my case id.
                          We 1st got refused to check in at bir home stay, the staff humiliated me and for their selfishness deny me to enter, than i travelled to other oyo by the team and then again i got denied from satwah 29.
                          I waited 2 hours at the front of the hotel to get the third booking but the oyo team didn't responded put my call on hold for 25 minutes. Then no one talked to me and provide ant service.
                          I had wasted money that day, cab fair and the precious time. But still oyo team hasn't provided me any type of solution.

                            I have been repeatedly trying to resolve an issue with my stay at one of your properties jr guest house since 2nd march now.. I have lost countless hours explaining it to everybody who answers my call and then transfer it to their guest experience managers.. Then they ask for an explanation once again and disconnect my calls.. I have added screenshots of the call history with your customer support team.. Is this how you treat your customers when they ask for help??

                            You tell you have policies to follow, but what about the trouble we had to go through, just because we had booked a stay with your company??

                              Oyo company procedure is very slow because it does not refund amount quickly. I book the room with online payment then in the hotel reception man told me that they did not give the room he asked me that first of all cash on hotel. Then they give room. Then we give him cash then i call the oyo care and asked them for refund the money they did not refund my money. So i say atlast that oyo company is very slow.

                              I booked hotel through oyo vide booking no gavy8056
                              on 20 feb 2019 in relax guest house ... I was charged for rs 1045 but invoice of rs 784 was given to me by hotel staff they were also rude in their dealing and did not observed late check out policy .They were forcing me to check out at 11 am.                                 We had booked a hotel "oyo 2402 hotel highwinds" shillong for 3 guest (2 adult and 1 infant). Hotel booking id - [protected]. On the name of vishendra singh.
                                The hotel sevice was terrible. Twice, we asked for drinking water bottles, but they didn't provide it to us. At last, we went by our self to the market and brought the water bottles at 9 pm.
                                Room service is also terrible. Rooms are dirty, dirty towels in bathroom, restaurant food is tasteless. I called the reception and asked them to change the towels but no one had come to changed them. Finally, we did early checkout.
                                My issue is that i called oyo on phone number "+[protected]" at 10:21pm on 4th march (I had talked with akash) and informed him about the issues. He said he will talk to the propery person and help to resove the issues. But no one has come to our room and resolved any issues.
                                I want to file a complaint against this hotel and their services.

                                  Today oyo is synonymous with hospitality. Yet, they engage in exploitative marketing strategies.

                                  I received a notification from oyo, informing me that i would receive upto rs. 100 paytm cash for opening the oyo app for 7 consecutive days. The offer was valid between 16th february – 22nd february 2019. I have followed all their terms and conditions,

                                  1. Open the oyo app for 7 consecutive days and get
                                  Paytm cash o[censored]pto rs. 100 - i did (Screenshots
                                  Attached)

                                  2. The first 10, 000 users to visit the app on 7th day
                                  Will get paytm cash of rs. 100 - i might have.

                                  3. All the other users who visit the app on all 7 days
                                  Will get assured paytm cash of rs. 50 -
                                  I definitely have!

                                  4. Once the user has opened the oyo app for 7
                                  Consecutive days, then only the cashback would be
                                  Processed within 2 days after the 7th day -
                                  Cashback has not been processed

                                  5. The cash would be credited to the mobile number
                                  Registered with oyo - registered from the
                                  Beginning

                                  6. Mobile number needs to be verified to be eligible
                                  For cashback - verified

                                  7. According to rbi’s new guideline, users who have
                                  Not undergone paytm kyc and have exceeded
                                  Paytm monthly wallet limit will not be eligible to
                                  Receive offered paytm cashback - have undergone
                                  Kyc and have not crossed the wallet limit.

                                  You might think, "why not approach oyo's support team?" the problem is, oyo and its support team have been blinded by self-absorption and self-righteousness.in this misguided state, they refuse to accept and acknowledge the proof provided by indignant customers.

                                  They will not call you a liar, they will make you feel like one.

                                  I deserve that paytm cashback and that's all i need.

                                    Hidden charges and fake photos
                                    On the 2nd of march 2019, i with my 2 friends visited ahmednagar. We went directly to the hotel name mahendra pedawala, the owner said the hotel is booked but only available to oyo online booking.
                                    So we searched on oyo web for the same hotel oyo 24755 mahendra pedawala, we choose 1 room for 3 adult. It displayed button, book now for rs.1681/-
                                    It was showing the cheapest hotel with good photos. So we booked immediately the same on the hotel counter with shown amount rs.1681/- with a credit card. Soon we got confirmation sms from oyo and also call from oyo executive for a pleasant stay.
                                    But when we went to our room some of its electrical wirings was hanging, also the towels given have already lost its softness because they where the old one used too long periods.
                                    Next day on 3rd march we checked out of the room at 7:30 am in the morning. We found no one on the reception counter but sleeping guys around next. We handed keys to them he took the key lying on the bed without even getting up. So we left the hotel at 7:45 am.
                                    Now the drama starts at 10:30 am. Reception manager calls on my cell asking for remaining rs.314/- and rs.40/- mineral water charges total rs. 354.
                                    When i checked my email after coordinating with customer care of oyo which was sent on 7:53 am. It shows room tariff rs.1996 + other charges wizard membership fee (Rs 99). So grand total rs 2095.
                                    After a whole day of coordination on a cell at 10:30 pm, the hotel manager said rs. 314/- charged is for an extra adult bed. But on bill, it never showed me as charges for extra bed. And was asked to pay in cash.
                                    The funny part is manager send me a wizard screenshot of his tab, it shows no extra cost pending.
                                    The sad part is rs.314 will be deducted from manager salary by the hotel owner, so i decide to transfer the fund in managers account of rs.354/-

                                      I have booked himichal honey moon tour with oyo total holidays through by swastik who make false comments with me he forced me to pay the advance payment and does bookmy tour evenafter paying the advance

                                      Please refund my advance payment back as soon as possible.
                                      I have laid for the tour which was not booked accordingly so i cancel a booking with oyo total. And was told you will get the advance refund back but till now i have not received the advance payment

                                        The property manager of oyo 15727 stay fine tulip has misbehaved last night with us asking us to leave the property and to never book this proerty again because we have complained that our tv is not working. When i asked him (Mr - kuntal chaterjee) when will this issue get resolved he just told me that he dont know that when this will be resolved and told me that if you are facing the problem then make the check out right now and also told me that dont ever book this property again. I just want to know who has given him the rights to talk like this with their guest.??
