I am Dr Pranil Bansal ([protected]), I made a hotel booking with oyo app (booking id - IAYC9267) on 22/03/19 for 3 rooms in hotel konark residency, malvan, maharastra.
My total booking amount was ₹5056/-.
I was offered and i opted for a wizard membership of ₹99/- which offered 5% discount on current booking i.e. ₹ 252/-.
My total amount payable now was ₹4902/- ( 5056 + 99 - 252).
In payment it gave a option to pay now and get 5% extra discount (i.e. ₹245) right now. So i made the payment through that link, amount deducted was ₹4657/[protected]. Note that the amount deducted was not in my control, i only allowed the payment, oyorooms decided the amount.
Now oyorooms is asking me to pay ₹399/- more, stating that i did not get any offers.

Booking date- 22/03/19
I opted for two offers :
1- wizard membership for ₹99 n get 5% off (₹252)
2- pay now and get 5% off (₹245)
My total booking amount before offer was ₹5056.
After offers it was ( +99, -252, - 245) = ₹4657
I made the payment and amount deducted was ₹4657 and booking was confirmed.

During checkin the hotel informed me that 399/- is due on this booking. I than rechecked in my oyo apps, my wizard membership was due n was not processed. I called customer care for resolving this issue. It took me 30-40 mins to understand that oyo customer care executive dont give a damn about what happened. He will take action only if i give him proof n present the screenshot or any recording of the offers displayed to me before booking. If i have it than they will do the needful otherwise just go away as nothing as happened because nobody can prove it without screenshots.
I reminded him multiple times, i am a customer and some technical issue has happened during this booking, kindly resolve it and if you cant than divert me to someone who has the power to resolve this. But the only reply i got was 'provide the screenshot to prove it or it has not happened you are lying about it'. And nobody in oyorooms can do anything about it. I told him that if you cant solve the technical issues occuring in your own system, than i have to find someone who can. As this is a clear case of fraud and cheating. I was displayed a certain amount before booking and the same amount was deducted through payment, than after booking was done oyo is asking for ₹399 more.
I even gave them option to cancel this deal, as this is not the deal i finalised with oyo. But they said refund is not possible on same date in their system. And i have to pay extra for the same thing on the same booking because oyo cant care or trust its customers.

I made the payment of ₹399 at the time of checkout.

My issue with oyorooms is at multiple levels. Firstly i want to state that this whole issue is not monetary. It is about the concent and trust.
1. Oyorooms should only display offers that it intent and has the power to provide. Displaying offers only to lure customers is not a ethical.
2. Suppose if some technical issue has occured and it is not a routine practice of oyo, than oyo should provide proper customer care support and executives should have some powers to resolve this type of technical issues. Rather than repeatedly asking for proof / screenshots.
3. If legally customers should have screenshots of every steps taken in oyorooms, than it means either oyorooms has some false intentions or it can not be trusted to handle anything related to money.
4. Quick and efficient solution was to immediately correct the technical issue the time i contacted customer care during the check in process. But they were on different phase. They dont give a damn about the issue i have faced. Their response was provide screenshots ( as if one should know that oyo is a cheater and you will need this afterwards) or else pay the extra amount.
5. I was on a family trip with my parents and a small child. I have wasted so much time and energy to explain the oyo executive my concerns. At the end of the conversation, i was extremely disappointed and frustrated with oyorooms. I cant cancel and get refund due to oyo policies. If i continue the current booking i had to pay ₹399 more, which was totally unfair.
Had to search for consumer forums n other sites to raise my concerns about the issue i faced. It has caused me tremendously mental stress that cant be compensated with any monetary amount.
On a family trip i was literally struggling with oyo to solve the technical issue occured in oyo's system, for which oyo was not even bothered about.
6. I dont want this type of cheating / frauds to continue with anyone else. Oyo is not bothered about this issue. It is apparent that it is letting this things to happen to make profit out of it. But my ethics dont allow me to let oyo go after doing such things with me or anybody else in future.
7. I got mail from oyo that it is providing me ₹399 on my future bookings. But i have no intent of dealing with the fraud company in future. In the deal, i paid for wizard membership and got discounts at that time.
But after all the mental stress and inconveniences faced by me, i dont have any interest in oyorooms. I have lost my faith in oyo.
I want my money to be transferred back to the source account. You can only pay back the fraud money you charged me with. Oyo cant compensate me for the amount of mental stress it has caused me through all this.
8. As you guys have forced me, i have also raised my concerns in consumer forum. You guys think you can do anything in the name of your internal system. If your internal system is not allowing you to solve your technical issues, someone should be able to solve it.

I hope this elaboration is enough for raising my concerns regarding oyorooms system and customer support. If oyo can introspect and take corrective measures, it will benefit other future customers.

As for me, i want my money to be transferred back to my account. As it was not for oyo to use, i should have liberty to use it as my will goes.
It is only to assure that i dont get monetary loss in the deal i booked with oyo.
But oyo cannot compensate for the terrible experience i went through in all this. And it will be very hard for me to trust oyorooms again.

As i have mentioned in my detailed elaboration (if you have read it), i dont have any intentions to use your services in the future.
If you truely want to rectify this issue, transfer my money to the source account. You dont have any right to use my money for so long.

    Booked a full hotel in jan for the month of july but a few days back got to know that the hotel's contract with oyo rooms has come to an end. Even after informing them on the call 4-5days before, they haven't reached out to me with an alternative solution. Now, whenever i am calling them, the only response i am getting is that we have informed the concerned person and they would be reaching out to you to help which isn't the case yet.

      I had worst experience of my life with OYO ROOMS. Also i would request to others don't go with OYO rooms even if they offer you free rooms. Such a pathetic & disaster management!!
      I had a booking in GOA with Oyo rooms (EDITION O 30010) from 16.03.2019 to 20.03.2019, which was a confirmed booking from OYO rooms. I had a confirmation call from OYO on 16.03.2019 evening that what time i am going to check in. I told them i will be there in night at 2:00 AM, they said that they are waiting for us. On the other hand when i landed in GOA i got a mail from OYO that they had changed my hotel without taking permission from me.
      After that i had called at OYO customer care where they said that this was happened because hotel was over booked. Now tell me if my booking was confirmed then how could they give me reason of over booked? Also if it was over booked then why i have not received any call from hotel that rooms are not available & why i had received a confirmation call? Also OYO is giving me reason that they prefer to give rooms to group of 10 instead of 2 people. So please let me know if i am not a customer if we were in 2 numbers? I was so helpless at 2:00 AM in the morning where there was no one to help me, Despite of so many calls nobody has answered my call, also there was no hotel contact number mentioned where could i confirm my booking.
      I just want to know if something has happened to me that time who would be responsible. OYO rooms has just spoiled my honey moon. Such a bad company with worst experience.
      I here by attaching two screenshots one with my booking (hotel which i had selected after 3 weeks search) & one in which they have shifted us.
      OYO executive was telling me that this is a good hotel, now tell me who is he to tell me that i can go in that hotel. If i would have to go into that hotel i definiatley booked that hotel by myself. There are so many things to write but i dont want to.
      Now i know OYO will only offer me OYO MONEY which would expire after some months, Also your OYO MONEY can not help me & can not change the experience i had with you.
      Will never recommend OYO & will never like to stay with OYO even if they offer me free rooms.

      For your information your given solution is no where stand with the problem i had faced. I am not hungry for your 1000 Rs complimentary stay, if you really wanted to helped me you would have refunded that amount into my bank account amd not as a complimentry stay. Ir means you have bound me to stay in your hotel in 6 months as you know very well that nobody will go for a hotel stay with in 6 months & your 1000 Rs will not waste. You can just make people fool as you think they are fool. Actually we people are fool because we have stayed with you. Also thanks a lot for jugdging my problem worth 1000 Rs complimentry stay. I really hope that this same thing happened to you as soon as possible. Karma really pays .. i know!!

        delete booking history

        As oyo is not allowing to delete the booking history which can be very dangerous privacy issue if fallen in wrong hands. I don't want to get in the trouble. Any fraudulent can use that record for blackmailing purpose so want to get my details and booking history deleted.
        Can any option available to delete my booking history from oyo app.
        I tried calling you but there is no clear assistance to contact on this issue.

        I had booked hotel with oyo rooms in first week of jan for 5th march till 10th march and from 7th march till 10th march.

        Just one week before the check-in oyo denied me check in stating reason as issue with property and moved my booking to another property.

        After one day the other property also denied check stating reason as maintenance in property.

        So i cancelled my booking with oyo. And now its been one month that oyo is not returning my refund of rs 20000/-.
        It has been harassment for me to follow it up with them and they just do not give me any solution.

          I had booked 3 rooms for elderly people on pilgrimage. The hotel was supposed to provide breakfast. There was no kitchen in the hotel. They got breakfast from outside and only in limited quantity.

          A/c is the room was not working. The hotel staff was stitching off the a/c from outside

          The toilitaties were only provided for 1 day and 1 towel per room with 2 people.

          Water bottles in the room were charged.

          Hotel was not providing breakfast till 8:30 am

            Concern against Booking ID: LUPJ4651. Not resolved upto satisfaction through the escalation, hence looking support through social media channel. Booked an Hotel through OYO app, against above mentioned id and made the 100% pre payment as well, which was the biggest mistake and this experience have derived me to a thought, not to make prepayments ever. First the property was not easily traceable, it was not having any logos or brandings of its own or OYO. While i stepped in the property, i realised that it was nothing less than a fraud. It was a complete sub standard property, which was overrated over app. Its ambience, location was nothing at par, with my previous stays with Oyo rooms, so i decided to change the property and called up OYO helpline to change the property. The helpline staff helped me suitably to find a near by property and booked it for me, but requested to make payments again with a assurance to refund the 100% money against previous booking. After 2 days of consistent followup, i got the refund, but lesser amount of 400 rupees and while asking the escalation manager he denied to refund the pending amount stating that charges are deducted for convenience fee. What the hell was convenience? A sub standard property is sold first, which caused me harassment like any thing and then i had to bear additional charges for taxi to reach the new property. Had to pay additional and had to wait for refund of my own money. Replacement was booked by your own staff, i didn't cancelled and checked in with some competition. 100% applicable charges were obtained from me in the revised booking as well. Then why i am supposed to pay, convenience charges for such an inconvenience caused? Rather you should bear the penalty to give me so much of trouble...I expect a resolution for the same and 100% refund for the booking, where i have not stayed.

              Hi, my name is Mrs Raunaq Shah. My husband booked a room at oyo under the name of Mr Nirav Shah(RMN-[protected]) for one day i.e the 20th March 2019 only so that we could spend some quality time with our 4 year old. It was at the holiday heaven resort near mansarovar Jaipur. On check in we got to know that there would be no food availability as the kitchen was under renovation...as we only had one day as holiday we ignore. Then we we're given a room with scraped walls, no working tv, dirty sheets, dirty bathroom, soiled towels, no bathroom amenities...not even soap except a used one. We ignored the rest n requested for bathroom cleaning. Only the towels got replaced n the floor moped. The tub, bucket n pot remained as it is. We ended up spending 3000 extra on snacks, meals n recreation for our kid as we had to stack up food due to lack of kitchen n abscence of any kinda green surroundings like shown in the picture on the site made us look for a play place for the kid. Instead o[censored]s lazing in the hotel we were hunting for food, searching for play place for the kid...in short wasted nearly 4 hours.
              Next, we were promised complimentary breakfast and assured by the receptionist to be provided but he backed off in the morning. There was no hot water to bathe as the geyser stopped working. He conveniently said, I'll open you another room there is nothing more I can do.
              The staff was not only unprofessional but just didn't care. For anything you say very easily would say, complain kar do. Yeh koi 5 star hotel nahin hai. Hum Kya karein. They didn't even try to be helpful. No hospitality at all.

              Why doesn't oyo look into your rooms before booking. We just wanted a simple room with basics on a 24 hour holiday. Can't you provide us with a relaxing 24 hours. We paid you n we're treated as if we were staying for free at a Sarai. It was very insulting n stressing. If you don't want to work close the hotel. If there is nothing there y dosent oyo let us know. Y cheat. We wasted both our time n money. I request you please look into the matter and do the needful. It was our first time with oyo n that too was bad. I tried calling in twice at your service centers, the first time the lady wanted to put me on hold...I refused n asked her to call me back which she didn't. The second time another one just hung up. You aren't doing me a favor... I paid for my stay n I got nothing but a bed n ac. Even the wardrobe walls were scraped.

              Feels really disgusted to have wasted my precious holiday by trusting oyo. Would request you to please look into the matter n get back to us on our e mail I'd [protected]@gmail.com/ [protected]@yahoo.com

                It's so bad to experience such a pathetic and lathargic approach by oyo rooms. I stayed in one of the oyo hotels in sikkim-gangtok named sikkim heritage in february 2019; where the hotel staff was totally unaware of their responsibilities and customer's comfort. I had to bear a lot there. Then i registered a complaint which was taken by a customer relations manager named navya who committed to provide ₹500 oyo money in my app account as an apology which is not credited till yet. A mail committing the same was received on the same day but nothing has credited in my account. I think mr. Agrawal should not commit something which he can't fulfill.                   It was the worst service you could ever provide to your customer. I booked a room for my family who weren't familiar with that place. Those people were taking advantage on that. They denied outside food and for 24 hrs they started without having anything and i really want to take this to your attention. The receptionist was irresponsible and i have never seen such a pathetic service. They didn't provide drinking water and my parents were not able to do anything because they don't know the language. I went there and ordered food for them and the guy made me cancel that for some stupid reason which was not mentioned in your website because i have checked everything before i book this. It was so disappointing and i hope you guys will understand that. They had a flight in the morning and i requested for breakfast. Your staff agreed to provide breakfast at 05.00 o clk in the morning which was again a drama. They denied to provide in the morning and my family was helpless and called me and also provided when i shouted on him. I think we are not here to accept your stupidity and i don't know what kind of ethics are you following. It was unprofessional especially your job is to assist the customer with their needs. If you can't provide the basic things then why the hell are you keeping that hotel open for booking. People who are selling things on road side have more politeness than you people have. Your staffs are useless. Please don't screw other's life and with this attitude you people don't even belong to this industry.

                  Refer to my booking id EFD13927 & ELIO3076 .the reception staff is so arrogant. They fight with my family members. They forced to cancel the second id. Money is not refunded. They dnt know the basic hospitality. Food is worst smelling.

                    I have been asked to produce my original aadhar card at the time of check in. I had a print out (Bw) of the same which was declared as invalid. As a result i wasn't able to check in, also my request for refund has been refused. I would like to know how this is justified since adhar is not supposed to have an original unlike voter card. I request you to look into the matter and initiate a refund as soon as possible

                      I had put a request to oyo homes for letting my flat to oyo at Park Circus, Behind Quest Mall, Kolkata .
                      My Say an had called me on 6th March and expressed his interest to visit my place .Accordingly after visiting the area maybe it was feasible they wanted to visit my flat and several measurements were made which disturbed my family members since it was a Saturday and a holiday for my wife who is Principal of a Birla School mand daughter a Grafic illustrater.
                      During their stay around 2 hours I had extended the best hospitality I could extend .
                      In lieu of my decent behebiour they did not call me up and give me the feed back and do not respond to my calls.
                      Hope that you are in the hospitality industry and customer service is your prime factor .
                      If you behave with your clients it is very sad .
                      I am a Senior Administrative Officer and never expected such behebiour from you .
                      Henceforth we will tell people we know to be very careful while dealing with your company .

                        N star heritage near railway station, tiruppur. Room 304 bathroom horrible. Complete tap rotating 365 degree. Shower doesn't work. Hotel is saying no plumber so can't repair. Stay like that itself. Wow its so nice to hear isn't it...?. Roof is opened partially. Worst of the worst. Surprised to see oyo ia supporting this kind of rooms and lodges. Oyo pls di not commit this kind of blunder you will lose your image.

                          Had done 2 bookings via oyo, haven't recd the gst invoice even after several calls and reminders

                          Booking id inkv5624 & akbr3504, please arrange to send the legal invoice with the gst amount mentioned separately, so that we can claim the gst amount.

                          Not submitting a gst invoice after collecting gst amount is a legal offence, have been requesting your team to submit the same but they are not ready to do the needful.

                            I have booked room in oyo 3773 in agra on 14th march 2019. My room no was 120.
                            I would request you to reconsider keeping this property in ur list.
                            Room was ment for 2 and we were two they had kept extra matress which they refused to remove.
                            Water was brackish.
                            Water was not warm for showers
                            No tea cattle and tea bags kept and not given on request.
                            Bed sheets were torn.
                            Complementary breakfast was refused where as same was mentioned in the advertisement.
                            This was my first and last experience with oyo
                            Same was reported to your rep out side of hotel.
                            This was my first and last experience with oyo if don't take action now you may find yourself in kingfisher airlines boot.

                              I booked a room in ooty for two days (16-18 march). When i checked in, i didn’t find it appropriate as it was unhygienic. So, i called customer care. They said you look for another oyo hotel and we transfer the money to that hotel and also bear the cost if it is more.

                              It took 3hrs to get a room. I spoke to more than 10 customer care people, but still the money is not refunded. Please look into this matter

                                I want to delete my oyo account booking history and if thats not possible block or delete my account as soon as possible please do that block my account as early as possible... Delete my oyo account or block it... I am not satisfied with this service of oyo... Give these things as a disclamer that you guys are not gonna allow to delete history i am never gonna use this app if you did not take action on my request

                                  I had booked one night stay in oyo 26794 white lotus hotel (Room was 1 classic 2x) udupi, karnataka, india for 12th march 2019. Booking was confirmed by oyo and i do have email confirmation of the booking. Booking id vkjs1857

                                  On 11th night, i tried calling the hotel just to confirm my booking and they said it is not confirmed. I called oyo customer care immediately and explained the situation. The person received the call told me that he will check and get back to me in the next few minutes.

                                  Even after another half an hour, there was no response from oyo and i called the customer care again. This time i have been reassured multiple times that the booking is confirmed and there is no issue at all and i can go to the hotel next day without any issue.

                                  Next day at around 9:15 am, i reached the hotel and to my surprise, hotel confirmed saying there is no booking.in fact they even said that they don't take any booking from oyo.

                                  Called the oyo customer care again and spoke to some manager level person as it was a tough time for me. I have landed in udupi, need to attend a function in the next 1-2 hours but no accommodation.

                                  Fortunately rooms were available in the same hotel and i had to book them for a higher price. Asked oyo to reimburse the difference of original booking and the new booking but unfortunately oyo was not willing to do that even though it was their fault.

                                  Considering they have spoiled my valuable couple of hours already and they put me in to trouble, i think i need to claim a bigger amount now as compensation

                                    I have taken a package of otty 5n/6day. A person by the name o[censored]zair ahmed from oyo contacted me and discussed about travel and package. At the time of discussion i have told him that we are 4 people (2 adult and 2 childre age 10 and 5 years) and he told me that he will book a train in morning for 4 people so that it reaches in next day morning. And flight in the afternoon for depature on the last day from banglore and requested me to pay rs.18000/- which i did from my icici credit card to book for travels of train and flight. After this i received a mail with attachement for train tickets and flight tickets and i was shocked to see the alteration.in train tickets i was having tickets for 3 people instead for 4. At the time of booking i have given 4 names and ages for booking. Later he started saying that train charges half ticket for the child of 5 years but no separate seat is provided which he did'nt tell at the time of package discussion and at the time of booking also he did'nt call me and take my confirmation of the same. I told him that u should have told me before booking but he did'nt informe me.in flight tickets he told me that it will be afternoon flight at 12 pm and in 3 hrs i will be at home and because of this i schedule my bussiness meeting in evening accordingly but when i received the attachement of flight tickets it showed the time of flight departure is in evening at 7pm which i was shocked as i have already planned my bussiness meeting as per the discussed plan with uzair ahmed. Now i told him and requested to cancell my tickets as it is not possible for me to travel in evening and refund my entire money of rs.18000/- as it was not matching and done as it was discussed before making payment. But he is now refussing to and asking me to bear the cancellation charges of 10000/-. I told him that why should i pay for the cancellation charges as it is not my fault. I request consumer court team to please interven and help me to get my money back or do planning as discussed earlier. I have recording of all the time we spoke on phone.

                                      No food facilites over there..
                                      My money is totally wasted.. If they are not eligible to give services then why they open these services... I want my refund asap..
