I think oyo achieved unexpected success in a short time & i also believe it will go down on 2x speed. Employees seems very casual for new business & expecting customers to chase them. This new start up will go down very soon if continue with this approach. I am chasing oyo personnel
For a family gathering but i am not getting proper response from oyo.

We have booked an Oyo room for us and our parents in the last leg of our trip.

The hotel denied service just 30 mins before our check in.

At this point we have been following up with Oyo customer care for over 2 hours (stranded on road) and after calling them for more than 5 times now

    I would like to review this in two parts (The mb hotel and the oyo)

    I had booked this hotel via the ola app my booking id was vqzb7604 from 10 nov 2018 to 11 nov 2018 for the amount of rs 2028 per day.
    1 pl be informed that there are 2 hotels going by the same name apparently both are run by the same management, though locations are different and as a stranger to the city had to believe the ola taxi
    2 i say cheating by the hotel... I went by ola taxi from mysuru railway junction to my designated hotel as per oyo app and reached the hotel at 1300 hrs (1 pm noon)
    However when i reached the hotel the rooms were not ready nor were the hotel staff aware that i was arriving. This is unacceptable as i had reached at 1 pm well after check in time and the least the hotel can do is to keep the room ready for guests arriving. Frantically the desk clerk called the other hotel, and informed me that my booking was in the other branch of the hotel located in another part of mysuru which seemed to be of a much lower standard as compared to the main hotel.. I say this is how they cheat the customers, i later came to know the location on my gps
    3 by then i had sent my ola taxi away and i demanded that the hotel send me to the other hotel for which they complied and sent me and my wife in an auto rickshaw to the other hotel and bnot to the hotel i had booked in

    4 after lunch we rested and asked the reception for tea at 5 pm. However there was no provision for tea to be served and was informed by the reception clerk that their kitchen closes at 3 pm and will re open only after 7 30 pm. Neither was there any provision for making tea in the room with an electronic tea kettle and tea sachets which is again not acceptable as i had paid a tariff od 2028 for which all such facilities are made in lower budget hotels. At 6 30 pm the kitchen people called me saying they can make me tea to which i refused saying no thank you
    5 there is no provision for hot water in the hotel. As we had to refresh ourselves we decided to have a bath and found that there is no hot water in the hotel and were informed that we could only have hot water facility in the morning hours after 8 am as they had only solar heating facilities. This is ridiculous as one cannot expect this in the worst of the hotels and then i had paid 2028 for the room
    6 none of the remotes were working in the room, the ac remote, the tv remote and the set top box remote inspite of telling the reception no one replaced the batteries, until i had to personally go down to the reception after waiting for an hour to collect the same. Have seen lesser budget hotels run far more efficiently
    7 the room was just basic and the bath room pathetic and filthy and stained and the non availability of hot water and clean wc and wash basin added to the discomfort
    8 for an amount of rs 2028 i expected the standards of the hotel to be atleast of average standards. Sadly the hotel is low budget average worth only at most rs 800 per night and not worth staying at
    9 there is a tel intercom in the room however there are no numbers of the reception or the room service or the manager or the in house restaurant so each time you have to go down to the reception to complain about anything
    10 no wifi i say this that though the hotel gives u a wifi pass word the connectivity is zero and i could not login from 1 pm till 7 pm when i checked out
    11 attitude of the hotel staff is also surprising as when i had had enough with the non response of the hotel i asked to speak to the property manager but was reconnected to the reception desk and i could not voice my complaints to the hotel manager

    12 not recommended over all i[censored] are looking for a just stay over hotel id still not recommend this place. As i have been travelling regularly by far this has been my worst experience
    Apart from the building the hotel is not run like any other efficient hotel
    After being disgusted with the facilities in the hotel i checked out and checked myself into hotel preethi international @ 2500/- (Excellent hotel for the price i paid... Please read my review on it)

    1 please dont book on oyo. They have no system of assuring you a quality room. Why oyo would recommend this hotel to me, when the hotel delinks itself from oyo as they have not cleared the hotels bills for over a year, is not clear and shows the totally couldnt care less attitude by oyo.
    2 luckily i had chosen the option for paying at the hotel, otherwise mb international would not have accepted my stay or my reservations, as the hotel says that oyo has not cleared any of its dues towards the hotel
    3 i say this with complete mistrust in the booking app. This is my second horrible experience with oyo to which oyo has not responded let alone addressed the issues at hand
    4 they are totally unreliable as they have yet to address my complaint

    5 i had a series of call center people calling me who could neither solve my problem nor suggest an alternative. Each time someone calls we have to recite the entire grievance right from beginning which should not be the case as they have registered my grievance and should have had the details by then as it is mentioned in my case id

      I booked the hotel from oyo. When i reached the property they said there is no room available, i called oyo and they also said they don't have any property nearby that location. They told me that they will refund it in 7-14 days. It is 16 days from that date and still refund not issued by them. I called them 4 times. They always told me that they'll call me back and didn't also get call from them. They are holding my almost 14, 000 rs. For like half of month. They have wasted my almost 6-7 hours for this thing. Please do something, i'm in really need of money.

      I booked a room with oyo 5 minutes back.amount has been deducted from my account. But now it says my booking is invalid. I contacted customer care and they said they cant do anything about it.

        Totally worst experiancei have booked hotel via oyo for mahabaleshwar booking price was 10453 and wen i have visited the hotel i have found they are giving rooms @ 2000 each totalling 6000 so i have called to customer service and inform them for same issue and also confirmed fro refund amount but now they are deducting 10453 as canceletion charges they are not ready to refund the amount... I request you dont go with oyo and... The same issue i will share on every social media website... So people can aware for the fraud which oyo is doing with people... And 10453 is not a small amount wich oyo can charge as canceletion charge and top of that even after calling so many times they are keeping phone on hold and disconnect the line... Request you to take action on such service provider

          Hi oyo team,

          My previous experience with oyo was very worst and i will not use oyo rooms for further booking.
          Recently i had visited to agra and booked hotel (Booking id : zdlp5106) and paid in advance but when i visited that hotel, i won't feel safe and cancel the booking.
          I have called to your customer support and told to book new hotel in nearest location of taj mahal and adjust my previous paid amount. Your customer support has suggested one room and booked the room (Booking id :fnyt1743).
          But this was worst room which i have ever stayed. Worst room service and no complementary breakfast was provided.
          I had checked the room price from other oyo user and it's price was only rs. 475 only but i have paid rs. 2228 and my previous amount rs. 2176 was adjusted.

          I just want to know, for adjusting my previous amount, you will provide me such a worst hotel. This is really frustrating for me.
          I will never use oyo rooms in future. Thanks for your kind support.

            I had a very bad and disappointing experience with oyo. I've booked hotel townhall in bangalore with my friend through oyo. For november 26-27. When we reached there to check-in the guy who was in the reception was asking publicly that "is that a call girl with u" me and my friend felt very bad and uncomfortable. I thought oyo can accommodate families, couples, friends and all those with proper safety. But i'm disappointed now. That reception guy's behaviour was very rude also. He was shouting at me for not closing the room door also. And at the check-out time he took extra 150 rupees from me excluding hotel rent without any reason.. I had a bad experience with a room boy of the same hotel before also.
            As a customer i had a worst and very disappointing experience ever..

            As a regular customer i hope that oyo will take proper action..

              OYO 10957 Home was promised an confirmed to deliver the following services after receipt of full payment.

              The facility was supposed to have an AC, Geyser, and other basic amenities.

              Unfortunately the property does not have a a working AC, geyser or even basic light in the bathroom. .

              On top of it the window glass is broken, which welcomed the guests with hot air in the afternoon and swarm of mosquitoes since evening.

              This is turning out to be a horror story considering my complaint is not even being entertained by guests relationship manager. In the duration from 6 pm to 7 pm on 26th Nov 2018, I have already been disconnected from the call for 5 times. The last 3 times I called, I have recorded the calls for the purpose on any future disagreements. I will be happy to share the audio files with you if requested.

              Not once have i got anyone to provide me any remedy or any alternate arrangements that can be made to accommodate my senior citizen parents and uncle& aunt who are now stuck in the OYO property.

              Needless to hide the fact that this has ruined my 3 years of experience with OYO.

              I am on hold by OYO relationship manager as he gets with the back end team to resolve this issue. The call has already crossed a 20 min mark of which 16+ min has been hold time.

              This is when apparently I have some membership of OYO that I had bought couple of months back.

                I had booked an Oyo room through the app, booking reference number ZMTX0619 for the 24th of November 2018, Saturday. Booking was made for OYO 14695 Shruti Comfort, located in Chickpet Bangalore and I paid Rs. 765 for the same. I had booked a classic room for 2 people after considering that the hotel had 4.2 rating. Upon reaching there, the hotel staff had provided me with room number 213 which was on the right side at the end, when you take a left from the elevator, on the 2nd floor of the hotel. After spending the day at the room, my roommate and I found that there were lot of bite marks on our hands and our bodies were itching all over the place. Initially we thought that there were mosquitoes in the room so I thought I'll call the reception to send bug spray but as soon as I got up I found an insect on the pillow that I was resting on. Upon closer inspection I realized that it was a bed bug. I told my roommate to get up and we found several bed bugs on the bed. I killed a few of them and took pictures of them immediately and have attached it along with the bite marks and the blood stain on the pillow that was spilt from one of the bed bugs bite. We called reception at around 11pm and told them about the situation and asked to send the manager. The receptionist told us that the manager had left and also said "I don't know why they allotted you that room, sir. Let me check if there are other better rooms available." This made me think that the hotel staff already knew about the bed bug problem and still gave us that room. He then told me that there were no double bed rooms available and that he won't be able to shift us. I clearly told him that, I wasn't going to stay in that room considering the unhygienic conditions and wanted to be moved. He said that he could move us to a smaller room and given my choices I had to go ahead with it. I was then moved to room 217 and was not even provided with a key. They just moved me there. I asked the staff to get me the key several times in the morning but they only opened it with the master key. Room 217 was a 1 bed room and they put a bed on the floor for us to stay. However, later in the morning we found that the bathroom of room 217 had water leakage in the commode hose as well. I called the OYO customer service to file a complaint at 11.18pm and told them about the situation. The executive then told me that he had escalated the matter to his managers and that someone would reach out to me soon. I got a call back at 2.50am on 25th November 2018 from one of the managers and I had to explain it to him the problems I faced at 3am in the morning!! The person then just asked me to send the pictures via mail to the escalation email ID of OYO rooms and I did so as well at 3.15am and asked them to call me at a reasonable time after 7am. I then got a call again at 7.48am from a Saumya Singh (Guest experience manager) who I had to explain my situation to again. She further asked me to send the pictures to her again so she could do "an investigation" and coordinate with the ground team. When I told her that I did not pay for such an unhygienic room and also for a smaller room and that I wanted my money back because I wasn't provided with what was advertised by the hotel and the OYO app. She said she could give me a voucher for RS. 250 and I was very unhappy. I stressed to her again that I did not pay for an unhygienic room and to be moved later to a smaller room which also had broken fixtures! She then said that she could refund me only RS. 500 out of the rs. 765 that I had paid for the room. However, considering that I was promised a classic room which would be hygenic and then going through the entire experience I felt like I was being scammed by the hotel staff and the Oyo room app. When I told her further that I did not pay for a smaller room she asked me to send her the pictures and that she would investigate and come back to me about the refund. I did not get a reply about the investigation nor my refund, so I sent another mail on 26th Nov 2018 to Ms. Saumya Singh, asking about the same. I got a reply from her saying only 20% of the amount could be refunded. I have been a regular customer to Oyo rooms and I honestly never faced such a horrible experience and lack of cooperation from the customer service as well. I was not given the services that were promised to me and I am not even demanding money for all the clothes that I had to send to a laundry because I did not want to take the risk of having bed bugs at my home. I just want my money back because I did not get the service that I was promised or that was advertised. I have attached all the pictures of the bed bugs, the bites on our skin, the blood stain on the pillow and the smaller room that was provided to us subsequently. Also, I raised an issue on the Oyo app on the 25th morning and gave the feedback to the hotel telling them about the problems. An hour later, the app said that the issue was resolved. I do not think that the hotel staff would have resolved a case of bed bugs within 2 hours. Strict actions have to be taken and I definitely want my refund for the false advertisement that the Oyo app and the hotel made.

                  We booked a hotel through OYO rooms. The hotel was extremely dirty. I mentioned in different issues on the OYO app as well in the emails about the hotel. The hotel staff was uncooperative and rude, no amenities (but mentioned on their website), unwashed and stained linen, quilt and towels, the ashtray was filled with cigarettes. The reception person didn’t know that Indian Passport holders don’t need Visa to prove their identity (if living outside India) and asked for additional ID to show (after showing Indian passport). We had to cover ourselves with our own towels to make sure that we do not get sick. Also had to come down from the 3rd floor to ask about anything as the hotel staff has completely removed wires from the telephone. The OYO representatives resolved all the issues in the mobile app without actually fixing anything.
                  As a proof, I have attached pictures We came from so far to have good experience of Taj Mahal and trusted the services provided by OYO and we got in return is nothing except harassment.

                    I have booking earlier that booking id vkqn3527 that was cancelled by oyo it self and said that i have paid amount 2950 rs is not refundable it can be adjusted in new booking so that i agree and i made new booking and its id is odzw8069 and its price was 2970 rs and i paid 20 rs for it. And amont adjusted. Then my plan changed so i cancelled booking. Then i called oyo they are saying that now we can't adjust and can't refund. If they cancel hotel then they can adjust money now my plan changed then they can't adjust. Totally worse experience and i am wizard member.. Didn't expect this from oyo. Kindly help.

                    I have cancelled a booking and I am not getting that refund, and customer care executive kept on telling me to wait. It's been 7-8 days now. I cancelled a booking earlier also and got instant refund, it doesn't take this much time. Disgusting experience.

                      I made a booking with oyo rooms for 20th october at pondicherry. Due to unavailability of room by the time i completed my transaction, the booking status moved to unprocessed. I contacted them on the same day and they said that a refund would be processed within 7-14 days. I have called multiple times and sent and received multiple emails in which they keep saying two things - "refund initiated" and "7-14 days". It's the 26th of november today and i haven't received a refund. My booking id is uczw6792 and my booking amount is rs. 2253. This is outright stealing from customers.

                      It is now almost 7 weeks in and I havent received the refund. If the refund is not received by 9th December EOD, I'll be filing a case in the consumer court first thing monday morning. And rest assured, i am never making a booking with Oyo again. The company must feel shameful of its terrible customer service.

                        Oyo room didn't provide room after giving booking confirmation. I reached udaipur with my family on 19th nov. 2018 at 10:30 pm. I booked 3 rooms for 6 guest but the agent in udaipur had only 3 guests updated in his system and so, he completely deined to give rooms. I called oyo rooms but they didn;t help to provide me rooms.

                        I was forced to search other hotels with my 2 years old daughter in the midnight. My 2 years daughter was sick due to in search of the room in midnight in new place due to cold wather. My wife was not secured travelling in road in midnight to search rooms. Oyo has done fraud with me. My wife, daughter, son and i suffered in midnight. We traveled around 3 km or more to get other room keeping security and all in concerned.

                        I want to file complements against oyo rooms for cheating, fraud, fake commitments and mental harrsment.

                          I thank you letting me share my experience with oyo property titled 12692 amexx residence located on plot 124 sector 27, gurgaon

                          We did our own research before deciding where to stay and your website is beautifully presented with wonderful photos of hotel and there are several positive reviews on the web which helped us make our final choice and decision. We felt confident that in choosing a hotel which came highly praised winning us over via your website and it's reviews online, was sure to be the vacation we were hoping for.

                          I made booking on 14th november online through goibibo with full advance payment. The booking was from 17th to 20th november 2018. My booking id was htll3srdzm. Please refer attached invoice copy for additional information.

                          Having said that, the very first unexpected blow was that upon arrival around 11am at the hotel, i was informed by a shabbily attired hotel manager at the reception that there was no vacancy. This happened due to an unexpected over booking and is spite of informing goibibo about the situation they booked your room with us hence you contact them and get clarification from them for the goof-up and he refused to offer any alternative solution. I told him i am holding confirm booking and have paid fully, but still he was adamant help resolving the situation. Instead, he specifically remarked that he was not in position to help me as i had not made booking directly with oyo but through goibibo. I failed to understand his logic. Without wasting time, and in bid of finding a solution i tried ample of times reaching goibibo and oyo but every time either i was kept on hold for long without neither any response nor returned my call. I was in terrible condition as we were completely drained out of energy and more so realizing that i would not get refund for the money paid, made me feel mentally tortured. Situation compelled me to pursue and plead oyo management as we had no option of switching to any other hotel.

                          After struggling for two hours i was able to get through a senior person from oyo though, he was weak in communication, commendably he was willingly opted resolving the issue. He asked for some time and kept me on hold for an almost 29 minutes. After resuming call, he informed me that he has communicated with hotel manager who has agreed to allot one room of classic category instead of a deluxe room that i had booked and would shift me later to a deluxe room as and when free-up during my stay. Please note since i had no other choice i accepted and agreed to check-in. Finally we got accommodation only at 1.32pm. Dramatically, around 3 o’clock, while we were resting we were asked to move to a deluxe room.

                          Please note during this chaos we were not even offered a glass of water. When i asked for it on payment they served us. Is it oblivious service?. Worst yet to happen.

                          Upon check-in, we wanted to order for lunch. Commandingly we were informed no room service is available for lunch. Should we want to eat then we were required to place order with zomato..!!! We were dying out of hunger.

                          Somehow i managed to convince reception staff and he agreed to serve an omelet with a soft drink after an hour around 2.30pm...!!!

                          Around 3pm we were shifted from a classic category room to a deluxe room which was my original requirement.

                          Everything was acceptable in the room but bathroom amenities were missing. After frequent request we were provided with two bath towels though hand towels was never provided till last.

                          Please note hotel has limited items to offer for breakfast and dinner. Luch is never sered. We were totally at their mercy. The beverages (Tea/coffee) were cold evrytime they served. Value for money had gone for a toss.

                          On day of check out i requested for late checkout around 2 pm (Logically i should have been permitted in lieu of inconvenience i faced during check in) but my request was refused. Though, hotel was partially empty.

                          The entire experience ruined our entire stay and we will never be going back to your hotel or recommending it to any of our friends.

                          We feel that we were completely miss-led via your website, booking process and the very positive feedback that i read.

                          If you are seriousely service oriented and concern about customer feed back please reply to my complaint and confirm what way i will be compensated should you wish us to come back and stay with you.

                          We plan to re visit gurgaon on 25th to 29th january 2019.

                          Oyo sales person came to our office and made one of our booking with his coupon, saying we will be benefited. We agreed. but We have cancel the booking ( before cancellation time) and waiting for the refund. Now sales person talking rubbish and not providing any refund. Such a poor experience, we will never recommend OYO to anyone.

                            I registered with oyo application to continue with the bookings..
                            But its not worth to continue there with the bookings.. So i decided to delete my account with my details..
                            They r not giving the delete option in mobile application or desktop application available to the end users to get out of it.. Also not maintaining the minimum standard of maintaining the app which had millions o[censored]sers..

                            I have made a booking on 17/11/2018, 2:27am for the property oyo13934 and the payment was made through Paytm wallet but booking was not made. When I contacted Paytm customer service, they told that the payment was successful and it has been received by the merchant. I want my refund.

                              It was the 1st experience with oyo, and was no less than a nightmare when i reached to check in with my family and infant kids and the check in was denied.

                              Before one day, called oyo captain about my arrival, but with cold response he told to reach goa and contact him. Also contacted oyo assist and got confirmation on booking. When contacted oyo captain, about denied check in, he told i will have to deal with hotel person, who did not allow check in. The hotel person clearly told that he is not giving booking to oyo since last more than one month. With continuously calling, after some one hour could reach customer care, and made him talk with hotel person, he transferred the line to his senior which never connected.

                              I don't think that the mental stress and harassment caused due to irresponsible response from oyo can be justified or compensated.

                              Moreover again and again contacted customer service executive, senior executive i'm surprised i'm yet to be contacted and i've left with no option other than the legal remedies.

                              Just wanted to share for people to be highly careful with oyo and it's irresponsible customer service.

                              Surprised that it's almost a week now to even get the acknowledge on the same. What's happening sir, , ??

                                I have booking earlier that booking id vkqn3527 that was cancelled by oyo it self and said that i have paid amount 2950 rs is not refundable it can be adjusted in new booking so that i agree and i made new booking and its id is odzw8069 and its price was 2970 rs and i paid 20 rs for it. And amont adjusted. Then my plan changed so i cancelled booking. Then i called oyo they are saying that now we can't adjust and can't refund. If they cancel hotel then they can adjust money now my plan changed then they can't adjust. Totally worse experience and i am wizard member.. Didn't expect this from oyo. Kindly help.

                                  I booked a hotel edition o 30008 pitampura on 24th november-25th november and the booking id was baul2071 and the amount to be paid was inr 2748/- of which i received the mail also. But when i reached at the hotel they asked me for inr 3480/- and when i checked my mail for the booking. I checked my mail to see the amount payble was when i got to know that my previous booking was cancelled by your side and a new booking was made which was of inr 3480/- by the name of ehbt5306.
                                  When i saw my cancelled booking i got to know that the booking wasn't cancelled by me. So i requested the front desk to allot me the room and i'll pay them after talking to oyo. And when i called oyo i had a word with. Mr abhishek sharma for the first time and i told him the issue dur to which he raised the escalation i shared the screenshot with him and did all the things he told me to do. But the way he behaved with me was pathetic. There was no action taken by you guys. I kept calling your guest experience managers again and again, but they put me on either on hold for 20 mins or they would disconnect the call. It was then check out time for me and i was waiting for the amount to be adjusted from your side but nothing happened. Due to this scenario i waited for almost two hours to check out but there was no help from your side. So, finally i decided to pay the wrong amount for my booking so that i can check out and leave hoping you guys would get back to me. But i didn't hear from you till now. This is how you treat your customers (Slow claps). And your guy mr abhishek sharma was so rude and pathetic. The way you are treating your loyal customers is so annoying. I want you guys to look into this matter and take the necessary action and initiate my refund so that you don't lose your loyal customers.

                                    I want to delete my booking history of oyo.. As there is threat for privacy so that.. Someone cannot use it wrongly.. Or if it place on wrong hands, someone can blackmail it... So for the privacy purpose... Plzz delete my booking history.. There r also no options also available in the oyo app or desktop version available to delete it... So take this as more priority...

                                      I recently had a stay for 2 days at vibrant residency, thaltej, ahmedabad and it was one of the worst experience that i had with oyo services which was compromised in many ways. The amount of inconvenience i and my partner had can be explained in multiple ways. Firstly, the illiterate staff does not have manners to talk to a female when she is alone and requests something for room service. There was zero hygeine as the floor was junked with dust and debris below the bed till we left the room. There was no geyzere for hot water because of which my partner got cold symptoms due to cold water bath. The ac when turned onn was making drastic "sounds" that disturbed the sleep. The tv remote did not have cell battery. Last but not the least, upon multiple requests, we were being informed that there is no spare room available and there is no way they can help us. On top of that, in my absence, the staff directly enters into the room and asks my partner to do some clean up work which he does not explain and later while going he removes the receiver cable from the telephone. My partner got scared due to this behavior and asked me not to book any hotels from oyo.
                                      Hence, if you wish to take this matter seriously, you can, because any how i have photographs of the room that i intend to post it on social media and can show to people about the kind of inferior and low down market facility that are given by oyo.

                                        I was a regular oyo customer since 2015 but not any more. Reason : your customer support and management.

                                        We planned a bike trip to lonavala with cousins and spent the entire day traveling on the bike. I fell ill and we had to drop the plan and come back 30km to your oyo room.

                                        We were finally relieved so we could rest after a long tiring day. And then the trouble starts. We just got freshened up when we got a message that the oyo room which we occupied and settled was cancelled!!

                                        How? Who? Why? When? Seriously no one has any clue. Since we have already occupied the property and ordered for food we thought it might be a system error and ignored it.

                                        We were about to have dinner and we hear a knock on the door. Alas! Here comes the bad news train. We were asked to vacate the hotel. It was 9:40 pm when we checked in. Obviously because this was not part of the plan and we had an emergency!!

                                        We tried to explain the situation to them. No empathy at all. They inturn shout at us 😂 i work in the support industry and but gave a resolution like this not has the audacity to not show any empathy but shout back at the customer.

                                        Here i am sick and tired to hell and typing in a complaint. You can imagine the torture they gave us. Worst experience i ever had in my life. We did not vacate the room after speaking to 3 different ppl on phone, who shouted back at us when we were frustrated and shouted at them. Finallu we agreed to move to another property and still we do not have any booking and remain in the same property. I am not sure when another person will call or knock our door asking us to vacate. What safety should a woman feel if she books an oyo room!
