Policy bazaar — sales executive rude behaviour

On dated :- june 24, 2018
I denied to buy policy from policy bazaar after listening to this the executive
Said that why you had wasted my time and made an argument & hung up the call without any reply from me. Is this the way you provide customer care.

Last call on june 22, 2018
I was surfing for health insurances & got a call from the executive she asked with me all the queries and details afterthat i said that i am interested in buying the policy but i will tell after sometime.

    Initially they have taken all details kyc details while creating poliocy, but updated wrong personal information, i am from karnataka they are entered as nri for changes took 5 days, and after that again state is wrong 15 days completed still no changes done.

    Finally when i said to cancel my policy, then suggested to me wait sir policy is not issued, but now they are saying policy is issued you can't cancel.

    And for cancellation policy bazar ajents said me just by sending email policy will be cancelled and amount refunded, but now they are saying i need to go branch all documents, kyc, cheque.

    Friends really i am very frustrated on policy bazar.
    So please friends i am strongly recommend you friend don't buy from policy bazar.com

      It's a third class company.. Nothing rather than a # broker.. Never go for this company.. I ll definitely go for a legal help against policy bazaar.. They just raise their hands when u need them.. They only weeks for profit making.. Even the customer support cannot help you.. Worst company i have ever seen.. Guys plz lodge a consumer complaint against them..

        I am not interested in taking up the policy through policybazaar mainly due to arrogant customer interactions during the telesales process.

        I wonder, even before taking the policy the team is so arrogant who said he will blacklist me taking any policies. How these guys will handle us after taking the policy. And the same guy is trying to follow up with me today. :)

        I am looking for some options to share my review on such sales executive (Who spoke to me last friday-15th june). Please help me if there is a dedicated email address for feedback. Thank you.

          I have earlier policies with policy bazar and i did new policy with policy bazar and amount also paid. Upon requesting of documents later stage i requested for cancellation of policy and their representative confirmed regarding cancellation
          Still i haven’t received my money back and it’s almost more than month i haven’t received my amount
          Upon follow up with their representative they are saying that amount has been already remitted

            I have tried to buy bike insurance from kotak but the money got deducted for two times but policybazaar then sent me a text showing payment failed, and the money that have deducted have not returned yet. Total fraud. I am going to file a complaint at consumer forum. Total 2600 rupees had deducted from my account and i need to get it back as soon as possible.

The sales executive offers me a 4000 opd coupon scheme with the policy but until now i didnt get any scheme . policy bazar are making wrong commitment to sell there products. i have complaint several times but no solution has made till now.

              I requested policy bazaar for an insurance policy of hdfc-ergo for my vehicle online on 14.06.2018 and their representative mr. Anup kumar sharma (Pw03771) attended me. He asked me all the details about my vehicle, its earlier policy details etc. And when provided, he sent me a payment link as under to make the payment of rs. 11, 500/-:

              He told me that as soon as i pay, the policy papers will be mailed to me on my registered e-mail id. I made the payment through net-banking and within seconds the amount was deducted from my account, but the policy was not received. So, i called him on the given number, but to no avail, he showed his helplessness and informed me that the payment was not received by them, hence policy cannot be issued.

              I waited for three days, informed my banker too, but neither i received my policy nor the refund. Hence, you are requested to look into the matter personally so that either the policy is issued or if not, i get my refund.

              Please note if i do not get either of them, i will have to seek legal assistance in the matter and have to take legal action against the culprit whosoever he is.

                  I had purchased a term life insurance through policy bazar on 31st may. They filled wrong details in my proposal form.in spite of after constant follow up, they never corrected the same. I have requested for cancellation since last 2 weeks, yet no action has been taken. I get harassed by call center employees constantly asking why i haven't filled proposal form. Timeline for cancellation of policy is not addressed. Every time i have to provide an update for cancellation. It seems like my money is lost now. Now i get missed calls and an it is followed up immediately by a couldn't reach text. This is mental harassment.

                      Hi team,

                      Initially policy bazaar's executives were calling very frequently for my car insurance and we're asking for payment before inspection of vehicle.

                      I made the online payment, however they rejected insurance basis on some minor dents on my car.

                      Pls let me know can they take full payment without any inspection.

                      Now i requested for call from their manager, none of them calling me back. Also i don't think so they will return my amount easily.

                      They should change the policy of taking money first then inspection. Ideally inspection should be made first.

                      Kindly take appropriate action.

                        I have booked a policy with policy bazaar which was rejected by the insurance company bhartiya axa, but even after 5 month of rejection i haven't received my refund i haven't contacting with the company for four months but i haven't received my refund just they provide false claim that they are looking for refund.
                        Details my policy was rejected on 10 feb 2018.

                          I purchased a policy of hdfcargo for my mother but i have not received any call for the medical even after 10 days of policy... They were keep on repeating that please wait for 1 more day.. after frustrating i asked for refund which has not been initiated after 3 days.. i called the customer care number they were keep on saying that you will recieve a call back within 30 mins but here too i have not received any call.. such a crap service.. such a low level customer service...

How can now I provide one year old and expired policy ?. If that is the case why it is not informed during issue of the policy ? how can now I claim in absence of old policy?

                              Pissed off with too many calls from policy bazar. Before they were calling 3-4 times a day. And some time at around 10 at nihgt. But this time they have crossed all the limit yeterday night at 12:01 even they were calling from the number.

                              I have raised a coplaint with their support to block all the calls from their side. This is not acceptable.

                              She also lied me that i can change the due date but dat is not an option

                              I am also facing the same issues. These ### make your life hell if you put your phone no. on there website while checking policies. I have received more the 100 calls over the course of 7 days from different no's. I have blacklisted more than 50 no's of there call center.

                                  Almost 2+ month passed but still, i have received mail due to system problem we are unable to share policy copy... Shame on these guys... Just cheating people.. Its big fraud company... I request all do't buy policy from these site... Its just headache... Instead buy directly from agent... Although it takes time... But no any future trouble... I buy it from policy bazar for time saving.. But since from 2 month i am wasting time for such stupid think...

                                        My name is anurag joshi. I want to register a complaint against policy bazaar for their continuous harassment, no response and not resolving my problem since last 2 months. I have called them, emailed them and now they are not even responding.

                                        Series of events

                                        1-i was sold a policy from akash keshav of your company for cigna health ttk in the month of april and i was given attractive offers to purchase this policy for my mother. He told me it will cost around 24k and later realize that the cost is around 27k. To provide additional benefit, he offered me 7k of the voucher every year for next 3 years from health assure which i can utilise in the bunch as well.

                                        2- i have been calling from last 3 weeks to understand how to utilize the benefit, however, everyone has failed to provide the procedure and strangely they kept on the passing me from one department to another department. I have been talking to kavita and have failed to understand her she kept on checking with senior/ team and other employees and assured me a callback but they never came. The strangest thing here is that there is no complaint number i can raise on call and in a serious breach of trust they have not been mentioning my problem in the log.

                                        3-i somehow, found out the way and contacted the health assured team and to my surprise, they tell me the voucher is for only 6.5k not 7k as informed by akash. Furthermore, after visiting the doctor, we were advised few tests mentioned below. When i requested the test, they tell me that it's beyond my credit limits as it was costing around 7-8k and my limit is only 6k after deducting the doctor's appointment.

                                        4- i checked the price of the test from the same lab they are referring us and was shocked to learn that it cost only 3k for all the test including additional test. When i confronted the health assured team, they were failed to provide me a proper explanation and sent me back to policy bazaar and when i contacted policy bazaar they passed the buck to health assured. I later realized that it is nothing but a serious fraud is going on in both the companies and prima facie looks like a hand in gloves.

                                        5. I have talked to the customer care of policy bazaar and now they are not even responding. This person name pankaj sharma has been writing me that they are unable to establish a connection with me despite saying that they can respond to email as well.

                                        Below are the tests from ha credit vs an advertisement from yesterday's hindu paper. You can check and decide for yourself. This is nothing but exploiting the customers just because they have bought a health insurance from you guys.
                                        1 credit =650 rs
                                        Total credit for the tests are 10.15= 7k approx

                                        Test credits as per health assure
                                        Vitamin b-12 2.7
                                        Lipid profile 2.4
                                        Thyroid profile 1.15
                                        Random blood sugar 0.25
                                        Cbc 0.6
                                        Rua 0.45
                                        Kft 3.6

                                        My expectation

                                        1- a complaint number has to be given to every customer to keep a track of his complaint.
                                        2- either you shall charge me vouchers worth 3k for the test or i shall get it from the market and you reimburse me for it.
                                        3- i shall see 30 credits in my accounts as provided by the sales team.
                                        4-calls on already purchased number drops 4 out of 5 times, this needs to be resolved as well.
                                        5- i want a team who is committed to their promises and expecting all the credits+action against those who did not do their job honestly.
