On the website, it's showing that the movie - jab we met is re-releasing on 23rd july 2017. While booking the tickets online, it's showing technical error. Upon calling the customer service, they are telling that movie is not released at all. It's an old movie. First of all they don't know which movie is releasing and which movie is re-releasing and secondly they they tell me - mam in india, movie releases on saturday and sunday. They are there sitting for customer services and they don't have proper information regarding the movies. Please take some proper action. So many times i have called, either they put my call on hold for 10 mins or asks me to try book simultaneously telling me that the movie is not showing on the site.

    The incident took place on the 8th of july 2017. I went to see the movie "mom" with my family having booked the tickets via bookmyshow. However when i was booking the tickets on the 7th and browsing seat options, by mistake i forgot to change the date and my tickets got booked for the default date i. E. The 7th where i wanted to book them for the 8th. Not knowing this at that time i went for the movie on the 8th and the security at the pvr entry saw our mobile booking and allowed us inside. When we saw our seats being occupied by some other people we asked them politely to move but thats when we came to know that we had the previous day's tickets. As soon as we realised this we immediately informed the ticket checker and seeing that there were ample empty seats in the theatre we requested the ticket checker to speak to the manager and allow us to see the movie as a gesture for being regular pvr customers. Once the manager came, he refused to even talk to us, was extremely rude and treated us like we did this on purpose.. And when my husband asked him to show his id he insulted us and said what will we do with his id.. I knw that we were here at mistake having booked tickets for the wrong date but in no way did we deserve such insult and humiliation for an honest mistake.. We were the ones who felt that it was wrong to stay quiet once we found out that we had the wrong tickets and before the movie even started we informed the pvr authorities. But instead of showing us even the slightest bit of appreciation for our honesty, we were told to leave the premises at once by mr. Santosh kumar shah, dept. - cinema operations i. D. No. 152520
    This sour incident has left us thinking is this the way pvr treats its loyal customers. We don't want any concession or anything else from you people but just learn to be human and civilised with people who go to your cinemas to seek good movie experience rather than treat them like this.

    They are charging minimum 180/ for the smallest popcorn & 160 for a glass of pepsi its too much please look into it in jalandhar punjab its totaly unfair government should do something about it

      Pvr cinema at phoenix market city near lbs marg, kurla west charged us rs200/- for 650 ml pepsi on 14th july 2017. Normally 650 ml pepsi is priced at rs25-30/-. Charging rs200/- is approx 10 times at pvr. It is insane and unethical to charge so much price which is jacked up 10 times.
      Both on bill as well as paper cup, no where quantity is mentioned. When enquired from manager, mr suraj said it's 650 ml but due to gst, qty is not mentioned.br...

      Sir,
      I have booked 4 tickets through pvr website for Rs.688, amount debited from my account but no further information was given or tickets issued.

      Informed the pvr management at kochi but they reverted that they could not solve the issue from kochi.They assured it will be refunded automatically in 3 days but not refunded so far.

        Today my wife and I who are regular movie goers to PVR Director's cut Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, where tickets are Rs.2, 000 per person per show on a Sunday were rudely asked by the security staff not to enter with our Sony camera. They said it is against cinema theater rules as these rules are imposed by Govt of India blah blah...due to piracy issues. We tried to reason with these rude security staff that these days all phones have cameras...

        Dear sir,
        This is to inform you that when we tried to book 04 movie tickets (Online) on 26-06-17, the exess amout money got deducted and didnt get any booking confirmation.
        An amt of rs 9830/- had been deducted (Which was again an error). But no ticket/ seat conformation came on screen.
        The seq. No of the transection was [protected] dated 26/06/17.

        You are requested to look into the matter & do the needful to help me out with the refund.

        In allahabad pvr cinema provide 3d goggles for 3d movie is very cheap quality...too many scratches in all pices.. i nvr suggest tk watch 3d movie in pvr allahabad

        Hi we are regular customers to pvr cinemas Hyderabad but from last two times there is a cooling problem in screen5 pvr cinemas panjagutta.

            Respected sir

            I would like to inform you that the ac at pvr, phoenix mall, lucknow, up was not working during the entire duration of the 6 45pm show of the movie tubelight. The entire experience of the movie was extremely uncomfortable. We were sweating all along and not able to enjoy the feature film. For the amount charged for tickets these days, a working air conditioner is expected atleast.

                Dear sir,

                I have booked 1tickets for today's show of movie (Bank chor at 6.00 pm) at pvr cinema, eternity mall thane but as received call from them, that which tickets i have booked that cancelled because technical issue.

                I have booked tickets in 253 and rec'd cash back of rs. 100 from paytm also means purchased tickets in just 153 after cancellation they are saying buy tickets in (253) each and they will allowed me to seat on red lounge. As they promised will get refund but i have gifted these tickets to my brother and this happened with me how insulting is this.

                Sir, please note that, i am regular customer if technical errors creates they should take care of customers first, but this time they have disappointed me.

                Kindly look into the matter.

                    We went to a movie @ pvr last saturday in elements mall, bangalore. Before the movie completed there was some disturbance. Everyone from all theaters were asked to leave. No security guards or pvr employees were to be found. Word was passed around between audience to leave! I came back and wrote to pvr regarding a) how they handled the mini crisis and b) how to apply for a refund. They didn't bother to respond.

                      I wrote the following complaint to pvr.

                      Dear pvr team,
                      This is drawn for your kind attention and disciplinary action to be taken against the security personnel deputed at the security gate for the alleged misbehavior and using filthy language.

                      1. That i along with my female friend booked the tickets for the show of jolly llb2 at pvr rivoli friday,
                      17th feb.2017 against the seat no.1 and 2 in audi-1 in the 18:55 show to be played.

                      2. That we booked the tickets at the booking counter through my sbi credit card.

                      3. That as it was friday being working day we were going to watch the movie post our office and i had a laptop bag with me therefore, i asked the counter executive where i could keep my bag or they are allowed inside. He replied there is a counter at the back side of the booking counter managed by the 3rd party to keep the belongings against a token of receipt.

                      4. That before 15minutes we went to the gate for the show. All of a sudden the security personnel deputed there asked me that you can not go inside. So i asked him the reason he told me that the bags are not allowed inside and with bag we can not enter. Then i told him about the interaction with the booking counter executive and as per my discussion told him that i would be keeping the bag with the 3rd party run counter behind the booking counter.

                      To my utmost surprise he reacted that
                      "jis chutiye be bola hai usko bolo apne pass rakhega yahan koi counter nahi hai".

                      I asked and requested him you please talk to the booking counter executive and seek clarification and not to use filthy and abusive language else i would file a complaint against him.

                      5. That he went upto the booking counter executive and clarified the same which in turn ordered him to allow us inside. Still the security personnel asked us to take due permission from the security chief and the counter has been closed for today.

                      6. That on his response i asked him please let me meet with the security chief and seek permission else ask the booking counter executive to kindly refund me the booking amount as i can not leave my bag outside with anyone else if the multiplex does not have any arrangements for the same.

                      7. That on this the security personnel deputed there asked me do whatever you want to do the tickets can not be refunded now and the security chief has left for the day and he did not allow us to enter in the multiplex premises despite having valid bookings.

                      8. That i straight away went to the booking counter executive and asked him to first give me the contact no. Of the security chief and the multiplex manager which he also kept on ignoring and asked me to wait as he was arranging some contingency arrangements.

                      9. That the booking counter executive talked to someone on phone and asked me to come to the gate and i and my female friends were allowed inside the premises without even frisking, our bags were kept inside the official room there and assured by the female security guard and the booking counter executive that the bags are safe and we could collect them post the show.

                      9. That on asking for the complaint book we were given the visitors book wherein i mentioned my feedback and complaint along with my contact details but i have not got any response yet.

                      10. That i also met with the pvr executive on duty but all in vain he did not pay any heed to my complaint just asked the security personnel to go from that place.

                      Therefore, i request you to kindly look into the matter personally and provide me your valuable time to brief the matter in person also. The security personnel deputed there also ruining the image of pvr by misbehaving, using filthy and abusive language.

                      I am looking forward for the strict disciplinary action be taken against the security personnel deputed at the time mentioned there and your response within next 7 working days else i will escalate the issue and also will be forced to put it on social media and start consumer complaint.

                        Two days back i went to watch a movie at PVR Hyderabad and there cheese popcorn small cost was 240/-.
                        this is absolutely a biggest scam going on at the theaters.
                        I wonder people still go for it every time and this is making the PVR kind of movies very easy to carry on with their prices infact they can even increase prices if they want.
                        Please take action on this considering a common man's earning.

                          Saw movie today at Mira Road Cinemax. Was carrying chips packet and cold drink bottle with us for my daughter. The security asked us to leave these items with them only. In theatre, during the break, we had to buy the expensive Popcorn available in the theatre as our food items were taken by security. The cost of movie ticket was Rs.190 per person and the Popcorn cost was Rs.240 (which should not cost more than 40-50 Rs. outside).
                          This practice of not allowing outside eatables combined with exorbitant high prices of food items in theatres is anti-customer and monopolistic. Customers should be given options to carry outside food items or in-theatre products should be priced reasonably.
                          The government and theatre owners should look into this.
                          On one side you cry about piracy, and on other side, you are looting customers through such rules and practices. Why should a customer come and pay unnecessarily high prices? Think and respond.

                            I had booked a show on Wednesday 17th of May, 2017 at Mani square Mall,
                            "Meri Pyaari Bindu at 5-40 pm. On reaching the venue, we were informed that the show had cancelled due to technical error. Payment will be refunded within 72 hrs. but the same is still pending.

                                Booked a show for posto at pvr diamond plaza.. At 6.50 on 22.05.17...
                                After waiting for 1 hr... The show was cancelled... Totally non cooperative staff.
                                We had 3 tickets the counterpart of one ticket was misplaced after total 1 and a half hr wait
                                Though i had the counterpart of payment through debit card.. They refused to refund 120 rs... And the staff was terribly rude...
                                This was unexpected and moreover we heard the previous show had been cancelled.. They didn't bother to solve technical probs...
                                The authority should be careful enough with such nonsense staff... After all business should always have a goodwill

                                On 25 may 2017 i booked 2 tickets on PVR Cinemas through PVR app . Unfortunately Rs 370 was deducted from my account and i havnt got my money back. It says that you will br refunded soon but nothing happened. I hope you will solve my problem as soon as possible.

                                  My self Dr. Nilesh residing in Randheja Area of Gandhinagar, today on date 18/05/2017 Alien movie which has show time 8:10 pm, when I reached for movie at 8 o'clock, the person on ticket window refused to give tickets, He told movie would play if 10 person would come for the movie. I saw at ticket window, we were four people at ticket window. I have travelled 20 km for the movie and I had very bad experience at PVR, Cinemax Suman tower, sector-11, Gandhinagar.

                                  When I asked for complaint register, Manager has refused to give register and said no such register exist at cinemas. The language of person at ticket window was very harsh. The manger should learn about communication with customers.
