I booked a ticket via redbus, the trip id was tnap58282587. The itinerary was a a/c bus with lower berths for me and my family. I have paid a huge amount as it was festive season. On the day of travel, i got a call from the bus operator stating that the bus which i booked was break down and they were providing an alternative bus. The alternative bus provided was a non a/c bus with upper berths, i conveyed to the bus operator that i am not interested in it and i want my ticket cancelled with full refund. I was told to get it touch with redbus and get it done.

I raised a complaint through redbus immediately, then after some time, i cancelled my ticket and requested for full refund (I was supposed to this instead of keeping the ticket open).

But now, i have been told by redbus that i will receive the refund amount as per the cancellation policy only which is 1/4 of the ticket value.

I feel that i am entitled for a full refund here because it is not my mistake or reason for cancellation, as the bus type and seats were changed and i was not interested in it.

    I am prakasan. R. I had booked a ticket from hyderabad to palakkad on 30th june 2019 in redbus (Orange tours and travels). The ticket number is tn7m64914092. The bus got cancelled and the refund was initiated for an amount of ₹2940 but the amount is not credited to my account yet. I have already filed a multiple complaint in the redbus management escalation team and their response is not satisfactory. They have been giving wrong information for a long time.
    I have also raised a charge back as per the advise of redbus management escalation team but there was no use in that. So please take necessary action at the earliest. Please contact on [protected]@gmail.com for any further update.

    We regret the inconvenience caused. On checking we see that refund of Rs 2940 has been successfully credited back to source account. Refund was initiated on 28th June 2019 from our end. We also see that chargeback request was raised on 27th July 2019 and amount is successfully refunded. Kindly contact relevant bank with bank reference number 30000891739173134974494 if amount is not reflecting in your account.

      I booked a ticket from bangalore to kottayam through redbus on 15/10/2019 at 9pm and the ticket number is tnbb68636603.

      I intended to book for the the bus that starts at 9pm on 16/10/2019 but mistakingly booked it for the same day.

      I immediately contacted the bus operator and redbus customer care who both refused to rectify the issue.

      The ticket i booked for had the reschedule option but the option was disabled due to lapse of time limit which was one day before my booking.

      The date on the app interface is by default set for the same day and when i book a ticket for a journey that has either started or has minutes to start, the app gave me no warning notification saying that the journey has started or is commencing in a few minutes.

      The interface induces people into misbooking and when you call the support team they tell you that you can't reschedule because the time is over.

      After paying for a service when i don't avail a service i'm at loss, whereas, rectifying a journey misbooking done minutes before the start of the journey doesn't incurr any additional loses for redbus or the operator.

      I have fallen victim to the deliberately convenient policies of redbus that loot money from people.

      Just as I stated earlier, you are ripping of customers of their money by conveniently stating your policies,

      While I spoke with the Redbus support team, you pointed at the bus operator and when I talked with them, they pointed the finger at you saying that 'Reschedule' is a Redbus feature and not theirs.

      You can play the blame game between each other cause in the end it is just the customers who lost their money.

        Sir,
        This year private buses are charging an average of 1500 towards nagercoil... This is happening every weekend. During festivals the charges go high as 2000rs to 2500 rs... It is a public looting... Govt buses are not running as per schedule and takes 18hrs to reach nagercoil... Please inspect and take action against such robers and support public

        I was booked a ticket thirupur to nagarcoil on 01.10.2019, at the same day i was cancel the ticket. Ticket number is:TNAU76236781.And now the money not refunded. Please try to do something about it
        I have Bymistakenly booked ticket and I was raised call Immigetely but red bus did not pick up the call and because of the my money is wasted...

        This is really worst services they provided.

          My cancelled ticket numbers are mentioned below. I need refund for same.
          Tn[protected], for this ticket refund was supposed to happen for inr 1267/-

          I have booked tickets in july month from bangalore. I have cancelled few hours later i booked those tickets and still i haven't got my refund.

            I have booked a ticket from kanpur to delhi but the bus got cancelled by operator. I have got my insurance amount but i did not get my refund amount of bus i had booked. Its been 8 days since my refund was processed by redbus (On 4 oct).

            Basis the policy of your bank, the amount should reflect in your account within 7 business days. If you do not receive this amount within the expected time, please reach out to the customer care team of your bank to know the status of your refund.

              I booked red bus from agra to azamgarh scheduled departure on 12 oct 2019 11.50 pm from ramada plaza, gate no. 2 agra. The pnr no. Of the said travel is[protected]. It is to apprise that the service provider has not intimated about the amar travels is not going to azamgarh on date and only after my enquiry they have asked me to adjust in some krishna travels bus coming from delhi and i along with family advised to ride on the bus 40 km away from agra and it was not possible for me to take my family for riding on bus far away from the city. I talked to red bus customer care but they have very luke warm response and also not confirmed that they will refund my reservation amount of rs. 2970.00 therefore requested to look into the matter and arrange to refund my amount as early as possible.

                Hi, i travelled last week from kannur to bangalore on island travels paying 1300 for ac bus. The ac was not working, it took 13 hours to reach (Normally it takes max 9 hour) so i raised a complaint, then the red bus agent refunded me 1 rs 205 on the red bus app wallet. So when i am trying to use that amount to book one new ticket, it says i can use only the 10 % amount for ticket booking. Red bus is really making us fool. First of all they would refund me at least 50% but they didn’t, they refunded me just 15% on my red bus wallet. They must refund me on my bank account not in a their own wallet and they say i can use only 10% on one ticket booking. Now i can’t even use that for even booking a ticket. Red bus making is fool. They ruined my whole night. I couldn’t even sleep or even breathe properly on my journey.

                  My experience from coimbatore to chennai was worst.
                  1: bus provided boarding station wrongly, and exact bus boarding station was opposite from the station.
                  2: no driver detials or bus registration was provided, instead provided details of bus which we dint book. We had to call red bus customer care for bus details. Thankfully they were there for our rescue and helped us.
                  3. Time between 5am to 6am, i was in sleep suddenly go to see bus applies a strong brake.. With that brake force i felt down from the seat.. And i heard from front glass breaking into pieces...
                  4. Bus moves ahead to some distance and stops for half hour with no ac.. As the driver and the helpers were clearing all the broken glasses...
                  5. When we reached our destination.. Go to see the front of the bus there was not even a single glass remaining.. Even the side mirror was damaged and registration plate was not proper.. Like no proper details of bus number registration.. Like they hide the details with paint...

                  Is this the service they are provided by you'll??
                  My trip was the worst ever.. Even my 2 friends had their worst trip to chennai...

                  I have attached some pics for proof and youll can investigate into it...

                  Kindly please look into the matter as the service they provided was worst.. The value of money was not upto satisfaction... I need a refund of it.... The ride was waste, scary and # service

                    We booked a redbus on 20/9/2018 from tirupati to coimbatore, later that we cancelled it, they said they will refund the amount within 7 working days, but the refund hasn't been done yet. I even called them before, but no response from them please i request you take action on this. Its an amount of ruppee 899 and a tax of 85 rippers. Thank you for your concern on this society.

                        I booked 1 ticket from ahmedabad to pune on 7th october, 2019 from my sbi debit card.

                        I entered the details of passenger and debit card details, and i clicked the submit button, the page got stuck, and it re directed me to main page without booking my ticket. And then i got message of sbi bank of deduction of 1309.98 rs. Then i again tried to book my ticket and it got booked.

                        So there are total 2 transactions of payments but i have booked only once.

                        Kindly reimburse my lost money as soon as possible. Expecting quick reply from you. And i am expecting quick solution from redbus and your side.

                              I booked ticket tnaq63574582 from kaushambi to lakhimpur on 27 sep. But it was cancelled and i was not informed till borading time about being cancelled. And now i am asking for refund so red bus has said we will refund within 72 hrs. But till now i didn't get any response except apology message for inconvinience. Pls refund as early as possible. Service given to me is also very poor i have to arrange on my own that night.. Really bad experience from red bus.

                                Iam sampath i had booked a bus ticket in mercy bus on 05/10/2019 using red bus app. Ticket no tnaz37105408
                                From belgaum to brahmavara.. Reporting time was 10.15 pm and departure time was 10.30pm. I was waiting in the above booked venue but bus has not came ontime. Still i was waiting thinking may bus come bit late. Till 11 pm i was waiting only. Later i called bus operator and he told bus is not in a condition.. It needs some repair. I asked how much time may require to get it repaired. He told irresponsibly that we cannot say it takes another 2 hours.. Oke i waiting till 2 am also but not came. Even red bus app also not taking necessary actions.. So iam requestimg you to take action on both red bus and mercy travels for irresponsible

                                  I am very regret to say that my experience with m/s redbus is very panic.

                                  I want to inform you that on dt. 31.07.19 i have a booking from ajmer to suratarh (Redbus ticket no. - tn8u11469674 & pnr no.[protected], other ticket details available in the attachment). Due to some unavoidable circumstances that bus is cancelled and it was informed by the agent of m/s rathore travels madho. He also told that you book a fresh ticket with any other travel agency with your money. About asking the refund of rs. 1500/- of my ticket, he informed that refund will be automatically came in your account by m/s redbus.

                                  Afterwards, i have done lot of verbal communication with m/s rathore travels madho agent & he told that you contact with m/s redbus, they will pay your refund.

                                  So, i am contacting to redbus representatives several times. One of their representative give a verbal compliant no. 10451477 on dt. 26.09.2019. But till date there is no positive response from m/s redbus side.

                                  In the whole episode, i am very fed up about the working of redbus and i am very surprisingly think that how can this organization run successfully in our whole country in a very pleasant way. It takes more than two months for a single refund of only rs. 1500/-.

                                  I hope that you will take an early & appropriate step regarding my refund and help me in this situation.

                                    bus booking money got deducted twice for the same booking

                                    I was trying to book a ticket and money got deducted but booking was not processed again i have tried to book the ticket. I got the booking but the amount was deducted twice. Need help not satisfied with the customer care of red bus they asked me to raise the query again and again and told me to contact the bank for the complaint. They said red bus had deducted the amount twice it's already been debited and it is also reflecting...

                                    I booked a ticket on 30th september on redbus app. Ticket booked but my money got debited twice for single ticket.
                                    First the app got struck so i entered the otp twice and money deducted twice.
                                    The ticket charge was rs.596/- when i check my bank account money debited twice for one ticket. Please resolve this issue. Looking forward for the reply.

                                      I booked a ticket 2 months ago, the bus operator cancelled the service few hours prior to the bus departure. The full amount was processed for refund. I called up redbus to get an option of refund through other process as the card i used is been closed. Redbus clearly said the only other option is wallet and i have to use it within 6 months. That too for my money which they don't have any other option to revert back. Why should a company tell me that i have to use this much amount in this time period and that too using their platform only just because they fail to refund it. And the only thing i can do using the amount is either book a bus, hotel or recharge a prepaid account. I don't have any use of these services provided by them.
