Reliance General Insurance co ltd — Not Received our PF

My Name is Poonam Saini, I was work in Reliance General Insurance, for the period 1st-April-2007 to 30th June 2008, for associate with Team Lease.

I releved my job from that company on 1st July 2008, I had received a some amount for - dtd: Dec-08, that was my Emplyee Contribution amount. But still I have to receive my Employer Contribution.

The form has been submitted on June-08 for the same from Team Lease. Twise I make call to Bangalore PF Office, they quitly reply wait for more 2 months.

Through this complaint I request you pls help me to get my Employer Contribution amount as early as possible:

Reliance General Insurance co ltd — Getting daily calls after requesting several times to delist my name

Hi,

This is Deepak from New Delhi owning a Hyundai i10 Car purcahsed in December 2008. I am getting regular calls for getting insurance from Reliance GIC since last two months approx over thirty times.
Each and every time calling person is different and when i had confirmed that i had already insured my vehicle from other GIC, still getting the same response from every caller " ki call to aati rahengi" what stupidity is this, i had several times requested to update in your sytems to strikethrough my name from your list but still getting calls.

Can you do me favour in this regard against this harassment.

I am praying accordingly and hoping some solution on this.

Reliance General Insurance co ltd — Non payment of pay outs

Sir,
I am an agent of Reliance General Insurance Co having. 19A01368 as my Code No.ode No. I am working with them since April, 2006.
Since last one and half years I am facing lot of problems about which I had been regularly intimating concerning Sales Manager and Branch Manager of Lucknow Branch under which I had been working besides meeting personally but to no avail. Telephonic calls are seldom attended and if at all picked, replies are busy in meeting shall call latter . I am also denied telephone numbers of present B.M and S.R.M by the reception and by the S.Manager as well I have also been advised by S.M that I am not authorized to talk to B.M

Further my IRDA license no 2402177 expired on 27.04.09. The required documents along with a Bank draft No.472154 dt.21.04.09 issed from Bank of Baroda for Rs Two Hundred Fifty only fvg. IRDA payable at New Delhi were sent to Mr. Suyash Diwedi S.M on 21.04.09. I have not yet received the same back duly renewed in 10 months time and on enquiry, every time, false promises are made.
I AM A RELIANCE GENERAL POLICY HOLDER AND MY COMPLAINT IS I HAD BEEN NOT REMINDED BY THERE BRANCH JAYANAGAR TO PAY THE POLICY PREMIUM AS NOW A DAYS EVERY INSURANCE COMPANY HAD A SYSTEM AND DIFFERENT MODE TO REMIND BEFORE IT WAS LAPSE.
NOW AGAIN I HAD BLAMING DIRECTLY TO THE CONCERN TO TAKE ACTION.

      Ihave a health policy from Reliance General Insurance ([protected]). I got hospitalized on 14/04/2010 and I was told by their TPA E-Meditek that provide me a cashless faciltiy at hospital by My total claim R.112334.90 BUT payment rs.50,000 and say to us reiambourshment claim for balance payment . Isend all bill on date 10/5/10 to reliance and they send to
      TPA for reimbursement.
      I calls up Reliance they say that they have no details about this claim
      frustrating to deal with these people.
      Can somone help releasing pending claim amount or is someone form reliance listening.

          Hi Sir/ Madam,

          I had met with an accident few days back when I was traveling with my family, I have claimed for my vehicle repair by calling Reliance General Insurance and they have very well provided me the address and contact number of the workshops where I can avail cashless service. I went to DD Motors at B-8, Mayapuri Industrial Area, New Delhi-110064. First I had taken my vehicle on 04/07/2011 to the workshop but the workshop people told me that they have too much rush in their workshop and they have no space to park my vehicle so I need to come on 06/07/2011 this resulted in delay. I intimated this to Reliance General Insurance. Now when I took my vehicle on 06/07/2010 I was told that no claim is entertained if not claimed within the 6 days after the accident took place. They I was appointed a surveyor Mr. Aman Behal[protected] who came and did the survey but his tone to speak to his customer is not at all professional and he was making me feel as if he is doing some obligation by doing the survey or giving the claim, most of the time he does not pick the phone and does unnecessary arguments. My Vehicle no. DL9CR-3817 and claim no.[protected]. I have all the right to ask what all things are covered and what all are not but just by my mere question he got annoyed and started giving me lame logics of not covering the entire damage. I'm not even asking for the entire damage's repair. Later on when we had this conversation over the phone he again pushed the claim on hold thereby delaying and harassing the customer.

          Respected Sir/Madam these are things which seems small apparently harms a lot to the goodwill of such a reputed Company. I have never expected this kind of treatment, I'm so much disappointed with the kind of response I have got.

          I will definitely share my experience with my friends, colleagues and people I know this will really impact your business goal of having big mass to be your customer.

            All this started on the 6th of May when i an unfortunate incident a tree fell on My Honda City's Front Side in Rishikesh. By some means i still drove the car and bought it to delhi to automax honda service station mayapuri as my previous experience of servicing and repair(all paid) was good. The new advisor who met seems not to be interested in whatever he was doing and quickly saw the car and informed that will take 10 days and over that was not good in speaking to a customer and also informed that the insurance i have, is not from a good one and suggested another company( a customer does want to hear this). OK, now the real story starts. 10 days, nothing from automax honda or from the insurance company, after 12 days i called , my advisor was on leaves(all the customers handled by him is now nowhere). a contact in the service station told me that parts are in backlog and they will come in 2 days so will take 2 more days. So as an understanding customer i accepted. Now its been 17 days and nothing from anyone of the parties. I spoke to the advisor and he said that the car is ready but did not get the delivery approvals from the insurance company, i spoke to the insurance company and it says that the pay order and photos are not sent by the automax honda. As a pendulum these guyz just sent me to the other. It was really frustrating so i hung up the phone after making a conference between them and have decided to go to automax honda and speak to the manager and pay the amount in full and get the car. Will keep you posted.

                Hi,

                I was using my uncle's car (who is living just opposite to my home) which was duly insured with Reliance General insurance Co. Ltd. & later I bought this car & before the transfer was made in Govt.'s & Reliance records it was stolen from my home.

                I lodged the claim with Reliance & the surevyor ( from SOMEN MEDIA) told me to lodge the claim in your name & seek a confirmation from your uncle stating that he has no objection in claim to be settled in my name.

                I did the same & submitted all the papers......after lots of follow-ups I got to know from Reliance that my claim has been repudiated (copy of same has not been shared with me after several e-mails phone calls).

                Somehow, I mamaged to call their Claims office in Okhla (New Delhi) & the guys there are so adamant to explain the reason , they just said "claim has been repudiated for no insurable intereset". I said "ok, let me know the procedure by which claim can be settled in my uncle's name of my name since Reliance as a company has got the premium for car & you can not hold money with you since you have insured the risk......furthermore, if the transfer formalities were not completed in between even then by which regulatin you get right to repudiate the claim.

                They are just blank & asked me to go to court if I want claim........such an abrupt reply was never expected from an organization who caim to be customer oriented....

                Can anyone, please suggest me next course of action.

                  I don't have experience of R.G.I. but I want to complaint about tata aig m.I. What is mentioned aboue is totally false my husband met with accident and the vehicle was insured with tata aig. The vehicle is totaly damaged & need to spend near about 12, 000 /- The company has reject the claim only saying that the there is deferences in telephonic talk and actual talk, as per there surveor. Is it proper only on beliving on one surveor you are rejecting the claim. Factual position is that the vehicle is in showroom for reparing. When the claim of damaged vehicle is before you then what is your duty? To see whether due to accident the vehicle is damaged or not? Without looking to this factor the company is unsecessorily rejecting my claim. As policy holder we have to pay the premium regularly & whenever we it gives us such type of answers.Why should we drawn up the policy when it does no help in our emergency.It is my first time to claim for reimburcment. What shall I do now? I know I have to go to court. But when my claim is genuine one why should I suffer?

                    I had submitted an accident claim on 8/9/2009.

                    The claim # is [protected].

                    Although this claim has been passed 1.5 years ago, it has not yet been paid to me. Reliance says it prepared a cheque for the dealer Punjab Automobiles (Mahindra dealer), but the dealer says he has never reveived the cheque.

                    For 1.5 years I have been following up with both as i paid the car repair bill from my pocket. It is quite harrasing for me, as no one is ready to take the ownership of the two.

                    As my insurance policy is with Reliance, i think it is their responsibility to update me, own this goof-up, and take care of my problem to the point where they pay me the money they have approved.

                    I am getting very frustrated and stressed with Reliance General Insurance and Punjab Automobiles (Mahindra Dealer) and my continuous follow-ups are not yeilding any results.

                    Also, when I call Reliance General Insurance toll free claim number , after waiting in queue for the call centre agents for 4-5 minutes, the call is also immediately disconnected as soon as it reaches the agent - possibly intentional treatment for all customers.

                    I need my claim amount provided to me immediately, and damages for mental harassment for delaying and stone-walling me beyond all possible tolerance.

                    my vehicle met with an accidnt near billawar jmmu on 13-11-08. the for was registered and on same day and company office at jallandhar was informed. on 14-11-08 telephonically. the surveyor inspected spot and sent his report where he mentioned the date of allotment of claim as[protected]. but now company office at jmu says the date of allotment of claim is 18-11-08 . since my policy lapsed on 15-11-08 they are not paying me claim. pls.advice me in the matter

                          Can i ask you one thing. WHAT IS A ROLE OF IRDA ???????? Are you a regulatory or what. We have raised a complaint, via IRDA. From your email it is a very disappointing that you don't consider your role seriously. IS IRDA is only acting as a mediator, I raised couple questions to IRDA. Have you replied to those questions.

                          YOU SAID RGI HAS SENT AN EMAIL ....isn't your duty to cross check if RGI has replied everything we asked .....Has RGI replied correctly ....Don't you bother to check what they have replied ...This is a very SHAMELESS RESPONSE FROM IRDA ....

                          1. On 30th November 2010 I renewed my Old gold plan policy and was convinced by executive on phone to switch over to standard plan(Health wise and accidental). I did a credit card payment of Rs 12991, and just got three SMS as the confirmation token.
                          2. On 27th Dec 2010 my daughter got injured in an accident, she was in emergency and I was informed by my family members that I might have to take her to Mumbai if we want to save her life, but eventually I couldn't and we lost her. I thought of expenses at that moment...I knew that I had recently included her into Health wise policy ..so it would be okay on the expense front .....but next moment I got shocked when one of my cousin told me the TPA number(Policy number) that you have given , is not working ....I was speechless ...it was the moment I can not forget. I had already paid money for a Health wise policy and I was not able to use it when it is required badly. I realized at that moment that I have not received any policy document yet, and maybe they have not even renewed the policy . I was under great shock...all I had was just one credit card transaction done to RGI.

                          3. I had this doubt in my mind that, reliance might have not created the policy, and may be they have not included my daughter in the policy. On 30th December I try to check the call center ..and asked about the policy ..They didn't say anything about it ..and kept on saying you will get your policy soon.

                          4. On 3rd January ..for the first time we got a soft copy of the policy through email. It was the biggest jolt to my life .....I fell down on ground when I saw the policy document which had the contradicting statements.
                          I am attaching its snapshot here...




                          Seeking for the clarification we kept on writing emails to services.[protected]@relianceada.com & sudarshanam.[protected]@relianceada.com & [protected]@irda.gov.in till 12th of January. To IRDA we kept on sending the complaint in the format asked by them, but we never got any reply of the complaints registered.

                          5. I had made a transaction of Rs 12991 through Citibank on 30th November. In the premium certificate I can see reliance has smartly swollen the taxes and it has only given me the premium certificate of RS

                          6. I had filed n number of complaints to reliance customer care, and I shared all the reference number with them on each email ....but no reply on any of the complaints ...those things are simply ignored by reliance.
                          They are treating us like a street dogs ....no respect for the customer.

                          7. I kept on asking about the hard copy of the policy, I got the first copy of the policy on 21st January and 8 copies on 28th January, I have still not got any reply on the delay in the policy. No body is saying anything, they read all my emails, but never reply to any of my questions.

                          8. I never asked for any claims, it was on 18th the first time I declared that my daughter is dead, and I apply online for the claim(Just because they have a policy to claim within 30 days). I got the first ever email reply from Mr.. Harish from reliance saying sorry for the loss ... we will process your claim very soon. I never asked to process the claim ...I kept on asking the questions, and want clarification on that. No reply to any of the questions ......and they cunningly sent me an email saying your claim has been settled.

                          Reliance sent a representative @ my place. I thought may be he is having answer to all my questions, to my surprise he said we will send you an consolidated email reply. That consolidated email has not yet been received .....
                          We got a "FATWA email " from reliance which says "Claim has been settled".

                          On top of that when we asked for a legal action against their wrong doings ..we were threatened by Reliance that do what ever you can .....you will not be able to move anything. Its reliance .....
                          When we asked about the contradicting format ....we were told that it has been approved by IRDA. My question is ....Is it really true that IRDA has approved the above mention format of the policy ....
                          Or shall people still have faith in IRDA ....that it will take some action against the SCAM running by reliance ........


                          I have even dropped so many emails to IRDA ...begging for justice ...But to me Reliance and IRDA looks like a two sides of a coin.

                          I then decided to write a separate email to all the top officials of IRDA ...to bring this scam running my reliance ..under protection of IRDA( The name that Reliance is using as shield)......I am sure if common public will hear such kind of news ..they will be shocked .....

                          I was overwhelmed when I got a reply from you ....I still have some hopes .....I will wait for Justice ..........

                          1. We got a courier containing Three papers of the policy. Dispatched date 15th December ( As per IRDA policy you should have sent it with in 15th day of policy subscribed).
                          2. We were never ever informed about this courier being sent on above said date and bounced back. We upfrontly asked your customer care executive about any courier being sent and bounced, we always got a NILL reply. The latest we got was about the courier being sent on 5th Jan From Express IT, which has not yet received and no body is saying anything about it.

                          2. This courier is marked as bounced on 22nd( No body was at the address ). Not possible, we can show you the proof of other letters received on the same date. For your kind information we always have a 24X7 security person appointed there.
                          3. Even if i take your point 2 as true , Doesn't your courier company understands how to dial a phone number. Even a simple uneducated person will visit the delivery site again and at least will drop a call. And that is why Phone numbers of receivers are mentioned on the Envelopes.

                          4. Since 22nd December till now, none of your executive have any information about this delivery [ STRANGE ].




                          On top of it ....When i shared previous email about the continuous follow ups ...I haven't yet got any reply. Let me know how long will you take to investigate this case .....

I had to go to hospital for the check up of myself, i can't forgive Reliance for this.

                          You blatantly pointed the call made by you and i missed ... Can you give me reply to all those calls and emails i have made, and NULL reply to them. Please be human ...and have some sense.

                          For the first time i got call from the Chairman office, I am thankful for that. After your call, your executive contacted me yesterday and asked for the Photo copy of the document. Now in this email you are asking for all the originals ? Isn't it contradictory


                          Sir, I am again telling you this ...the way all the things has happened " I don't trust reliance" , i can not handover all the original Documents to reliance. I can only do this once this all get settle.

                          I have taken a legal advice on it ....and things can't not be taken for granted. If you can not send the Original Policy document within 50 Days of generation of policy ... how would you keep our original document safe, i doubt if it will reach to your office.

                          What max i can do is ...i can send you scanned copy of all the original document and also a attested copy of the document. Once matter get solved i will submit them in person.

                          Also, the person you are sending should carry a valid Identity proof and a letter ( With Reliance letter head) stating he is authorized to collect the document.

                          There are series of Ignorance and insult done to us .... i am very very very disappointed from the reliance behavior.

                          Hope this time i would get a quick reply.

                          I am devastated, broken intopieces not finding even words to express how bad I am feeling. Me and myfamily are passing through the most toughest time of our life. We lostour Little Angel "Prakrati Bhandari"(One and half yearold) in an accident she expired on 29 Dec 2010. The old sayingis coming true to me "Sukh meinSabb Saathi, Dukh mein Na koi". All the promises, attention & care given to the customerat the time of selling any insurance product suddenly disappears at thetime of providing the services. It seems like the sole motto of these bigorganizations is to gather the hard earned money of common man under name of "Insurance"(Scam). Nobody realizes / experiences theheight of negligence carelessness and in human behavior shown by RGI untilthey haven't met any miss happening within the family.

                          I am very unfortunate in thisregard, I got the real taste of life at very early stage. Got the trueface of reliance when this accident happened to my daughter. Here is thechain of incidences

                          [ 1 ]. I had anold policy with reliance PN.[protected] Dateof expiry 21/11/2010. This was the "Goldplan" , before the expiry of the Policy I got first callfor renewal in 22nd October 2010 and till 30thNovember 2010 I was continuously getting call for the Renewalof the policy ( See their promptness, politeness and caring nature ).During this period customer care kept on convincing me to go for standardplan. What I convinced from those conversation is that, Thepremium of gold plan is higher, I can get same facility if I go for standardplan for whole family. [ Note during this I was not even mention about theconditions, and any warranties ]

                          Through phone only I was convincedby customer care executive (Renewal department) to do a payment for StandardPlan which includes Health wise policy and Accidental policy for wholefamily. On 30th November 2010, I did a payment through my Citibankcredit card whose transaction detail is listed below.

                          As a token of receipt fromreliance, I only got three SMSes containing Policy number. Iwas not even aware that old card number for the health wise policy is notoperational, It was not even confirmed that my daughter is includedin the new policy or not. Since30 November 2010 till Now (16th January 2011) I have not yetreceived any Hard copy and not even New card under Health wise policy. Insunny day scenario this negligence is digestible, but in the rainy day(As it happened with me ) ? Should this be taken as excuse or matterto forgive ...certainly not this negligence is a criminal act.

                          [2] On 27th December2010 my daughter one and half year old "Prakrati" shehad a serious head injury in an accident. I was shocked withthe incident, couldn't see her in ICU when she was fighting between lifeand death. I was in such a big shock that I was telling everybody ....nothis has not happened with me....It is a dream...a Bad dream.....pinchme wake me up ..... this is not real. Seating in front of ICU ittook me some time to realize- Yes she is my daughter andit is a real incident ......I felt like somebody is drilling intomy heart .....a big pain inside .....I was crying like anything .

                          Just to provide her best possibletreatment we took her from Manu hospital to SantokbaDurlabji hospital in jaipur. I remember, that moment my brother asked me, "Do you have any medical insurance /Health policyfor her" I was speechless. Because I hadno answer for that. What I remembered at that timewas only one thing that I did a transaction of ~13000Rs to Reliance General Insurance on 30th November 2010. Iwas not even sure if She ( My daughter ) was finally includedin the policy or not. As I had no written proof / document which says "Prakrati"is also insured and it is confirmed. What was handy to me at thattime was only the OLD health wise policy card number[protected]. Iprovided this card to my cousin to check if we can get cashless onit [ *Please refer section [ 1 ]for the detailstory of policy ]. I was told that policy underthis card has already expired on 21 November 2010. I felt like "Hiroshima- Nagasaki", somebody has nuked us. ICried in hospital as if I gone Mad.......Shouted with Anger"GODPLEASE SAVE ME FROM ALL THIS ......." I stillremember it .......

                          Sir, I am feeling very shameto share this .... I had very little bank balance at that time andeven today....I decided to put my Gold engagement ring as a mortgage toarrange the money for the treatment. All that I wanted is mylife, my little Angel...back again. We were discussing thepossibility of taking her to Mumbai for better treatment, Iwas ready to cross all the limits......Just wanted to save her. ButI surrendered on the expenses front, I compromised with the treatmentbecause I couldn't afford the expenses to take her to Mumbai and get treatmentin "Bombay Hospital". I lether go .....because I am a poor father ...who couldn't saveher daughter due to financial limitations. Couldn't provide her bettertreatment.......I thought I don't have right to live ......But do you thinkI am the responsible person for this Loss....Do you think I could havesaved her .... Yes.....Had it been some other Insurance Policy with some other organization.....My daughter would have got the better treatment. I got screwed upby Reliance ...and still getting it ......

                          Sir, I knew about myfinancial limitations right from beginning ..... and realizing theuncertainty of the life in current world I opted for a Health wise policy & accidentalpolicy. I did this for my whole family, Me my wife and my daughter. Inold policy only me and my wife were included. In November onlyI included my daughter under the insurance plan & accidental plan.Till the time of accident, I had nothing in hand to know if my whole familywas covered or not. This is simply a case of Negligence .......I mustsay "RELIANCEIS RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS OF MY DAUGHTER" Thisis the big height till date (16th Jan ) they didn't send me any copyof document, No health wise card till date today..."May bethey are just waiting for another accident to happen ... andwaiting for rest of the members of family to vanish from the planet" Can't say about their intentions .......Because it is a BUSINESS forthem ..........and everything is fair in Busies.

                          At that moment I was so very muchpissed off by the reliance ......I spoke to myself " Mr..Ambani you don't know what wrong is going under your nose, itis ruining the name earned by Late Dhirubhai Ambani". Ifa person after taking a policy can not use it at the time when heneeds then what is the purpose of taking any kind of policy.

                          I am just trying to understand...what exactly happened ....Even after paying the premium amount ....can't they process a card and document with in 15 days. How longa courier takes to reach from point A to point B in India. Offcourse not infinitely( Because till date I have not received any post).

                          I asked myself ....Wasit a Charity ? Was it a donation .......that I did on 30th November ..what was that ....I can't understand. Even when I renewed thepolicy on 30th November 2010, I should have received a written copyof the policy with in 15 days. Simple case of fraud. Reliance killedmy daughter.

                          She left the planet on 29th,she left all o[censored]s alone .......I felt guilty ....and I am still feelingit .......We did her funeral on 29th.....How it feels when a father hasto give flame to his one and half year old daughter's body ....un explainable...I can burn myself easily ....but couldn't see those little fingers ...thoselittle ears ...those little legs ...burning .....A face that had alwaysresponded with smile ...curiosity and naughtiness...hermouth that had juststarted speaking the golden words "PAPPA" ....."MUMMY"....."BHIIYAAA" ......Icouldn't see her burning .......I felt it like I have given flameto one of my body part ......and it is still burning.

                          After loosing her .....I talkedto myself ....enough is enough .....I must check if they have includedmy daughter or not. I had kept this news - "Lossof my daughter" as a secret from Reliance. Hereis the sequence of calls and query


                          a) I Personally called themon 31st December to get the information about her. With old policynumber I got nothing, I was referred from one call center number to other.Then I remember that I had received the SIMS of transaction done on 30thNovember. I pulled out the SMS from my old hand set, and here I gotthe SMS information. I am typing the exact text that I received "Thankyou for choosing Reliance General Insurance. Your Health Wise Policy Numberis [protected]. You can view your policy and take a print by loggingon http://imd.reliancegeneral.co.in after48 Hours". I got the similar kind of SMS for Policy number[protected]&[protected]. When I tried to download the policy online Igot an error ( Invalid policy number). This was the shatteringmoment for me ......A big Jolt .....

                          b) I sensed the conspiracyby Reliance, and kept on calling the customer care keeping my head cooland not declaring that my daughter is expired. I was afraid of tellingit, because till that date I had nothing in my hand. Just three SMS, whichsays check online ...download online .....and when I tried to download....I got a slap on my face. I realized that ...something has gone wrongwith RGI(Reliance general insurance) Either they have not renewed my policyor ...they have goofed up something. I don't wanted my self to me victimof their cunningness ....I kept on asking for Hard copy.


                          Since 30th December 2010 weare asking RGI to send a hard copy as well as soft copy of the Policy.Can you realize how long it takes to send a soft copy of the policy onemail. Does it takes more than 5 days. Whenever I use to call customercare ....they will tell me ..."Sir you will get the soft copy of thepolicy with in an hour I am forwarding it". It took 5 days to forwarda soft copy of policy. I got it on 3rd of January 2011. And till date Ihave only received the soft copy. On enquiring about hard copy, we gota reply that "it has been dispatched on 31st December,then we got a reply it has been dispatched on 3rd of January, and the latestis It has been dispatched on 5th of January" every time weuse to call, this dispatching date changes.

                          For the first time on 3rdof January we got a complaint number, customer care acceptedour complaint. Its Complaint number is 1661171. I don'tknow under what section they have placed it. Till date there is no Hardcopy from Reliance, and no Card for Health wise policy.

                          Here are call details : -
                          I) First talk on Date31 December to customer care service, tried to download the policyfrom net. It got failed.
                          2) Tried the same thingon 1st of January as well it failed, tried to call local relianceperson.
                          3) On 3rd January called customercare Reference number 1654845,Complaint number 1654847. Informedby customer care that courier has been dispatched on 31st By ExpressIT and Docked numberis [protected].
                          4) On 5th January calledcustomer care at Time5.25 PM Person Mr.Gaurav Call reference number 1661086 .
                          5) On 5th of January 11 calledcustomer care at Tme5.41 Person AnitaCall reference number 1661171.
                          6) On 10th Of January Time 1.50 , 1.56 Person Savitha& Rajesh Call refrence number 1668988. ( Call was droped by customercare executive blatanly).
                          7) On 13th January Time3.30 Minutes Refrence number 1654845 (Oldone) ( Clearlydenied to provide us the call reference number ). They also provided usa new Docked number for the courier dispatchedAWB[protected]

                          Now when their call centerpeople knew something has went wrong with this policy, these people stoppedresponding to us. They even started dropping calls( We have all the callhistory and can bring that too in court), whenever we use to ask for referencenumber of the call, they will disconnect the call.

                          After getting pissed off fromthe calls, I started sending email ( To the email id which I got from reliancewith the soft copy of the policy services.[protected]@relianceada.com,)asking about the contradiction in the policy statement.


                          Here is the contradiction :- The table below says CSI is 10 Lakhs in case of Accidental death &the warranties/Conditions contradicts it. ?

                          To get the clear picture aboutthe policy and to go ahead with Accidental death claim ... Ikept on sending email starting from January 6 till January 12 on services.[protected]@relianceada.com, I have attached the whole email sequence in zip file. Till date we havenot received any reply ....a single reply to this email.

                          This is a super height ofinsensitivity ...in human behavior. They are just treating us as a streetdogs .....after taking money ....no use ....just wanted to throw usin Trash. In my email below even after I warned to take a legal action,I got zero reply from them. [Please see the attached email below ...a big silence from Reliance ]


                          This email is for to claimunder accidental death ..and I am requesting IRDA and otherconcern people to take this case in a serious matter. I will fight tillmy last breath .....I suffered ... I don't want any other father to loosehis daughter like this ......I don't want others to suffer ......

                          I am sure ....Prakrati mustbe laughing at us .....She knew about the dirtiness on the Planet ....Henceshe decided to leave the planet............

                          1. On 30th November 2010 I renewed my Old gold plan policy and was convinced by executive on phone to switch over to standard plan(Health wise and accidental). I did a credit card payment of Rs 12991, and just got three SMS as the confirmation token.
                          2. On 27th Dec 2010 my daughter got injured in an accident, she was in emergency and I was informed by my family members that I might have to take her to Mumbai if we want to save her life, but eventually I couldn't and we lost her. I thought of expenses at that moment...I knew that I had recently included her into Health wise policy ..so it would be okay on the expense front .....but next moment I got shocked when one of my cousin told me the TPA number(Policy number) that you have given , is not working ....I was speechless ...it was the moment I can not forget. I had already paid money for a Health wise policy and I was not able to use it when it is required badly. I realized at that moment that I have not received any policy document yet, and maybe they have not even renewed the policy . I was under great shock...all I had was just one credit card transaction done to RGI.

                          3. I had this doubt in my mind that, reliance might have not created the policy, and may be they have not included my daughter in the policy. On 30th December I try to check the call center ..and asked about the policy ..They didn't say anything about it ..and kept on saying you will get your policy soon.

                          4. On 3rd January ..for the first time we got a soft copy of the policy through email. It was the biggest jolt to my life .....I fell down on ground when I saw the policy document which had the contradicting statements.
                          I am attaching its snapshot here...




                          Seeking for the clarification we kept on writing emails to services.[protected]@relianceada.com & sudarshanam.[protected]@relianceada.com & [protected]@irda.gov.in till 12th of January. To IRDA we kept on sending the complaint in the format asked by them, but we never got any reply of the complaints registered.

                          5. I had made a transaction of Rs 12991 through Citibank on 30th November. In the premium certificate I can see reliance has smartly swollen the taxes and it has only given me the premium certificate of RS

                          6. I had filed n number of complaints to reliance customer care, and I shared all the reference number with them on each email ....but no reply on any of the complaints ...those things are simply ignored by reliance.
                          They are treating us like a street dogs ....no respect for the customer.

                          7. I kept on asking about the hard copy of the policy, I got the first copy of the policy on 21st January and 8 copies on 28th January, I have still not got any reply on the delay in the policy. No body is saying anything, they read all my emails, but never reply to any of my questions.

                          8. I never asked for any claims, it was on 18th the first time I declared that my daughter is dead, and I apply online for the claim(Just because they have a policy to claim within 30 days). I got the first ever email reply from Mr.. Harish from reliance saying sorry for the loss ... we will process your claim very soon. I never asked to process the claim ...I kept on asking the questions, and want clarification on that. No reply to any of the questions ......and they cunningly sent me an email saying your claim has been settled.

                          Reliance sent a representative @ my place. I thought may be he is having answer to all my questions, to my surprise he said we will send you an consolidated email reply. That consolidated email has not yet been received .....
                          We got a "FATWA email " from reliance which says "Claim has been settled".

                          On top of that when we asked for a legal action against their wrong doings ..we were threatened by Reliance that do what ever you can .....you will not be able to move anything. Its reliance .....
                          When we asked about the contradicting format ....we were told that it has been approved by IRDA. My question is ....Is it really true that IRDA has approved the above mention format of the policy ....
                          Or shall people still have faith in IRDA ....that it will take some action against the SCAM running by reliance ........


                          I have even dropped so many emails to IRDA ...begging for justice ...But to me Reliance and IRDA looks like a two sides of a coin.

                          I then decided to write a separate email to all the top officials of IRDA ...to bring this scam running my reliance ..under protection of IRDA( The name that Reliance is using as shield)......I am sure if common public will hear such kind of news ..they will be shocked .....

                          I was overwhelmed when I got a reply from you ....I still have some hopes .....I will wait for Justice ..........

                          1. We got a courier containing Three papers of the policy. Dispatched date 15th December ( As per IRDA policy you should have sent it with in 15th day of policy subscribed).
                          2. We were never ever informed about this courier being sent on above said date and bounced back. We upfrontly asked your customer care executive about any courier being sent and bounced, we always got a NILL reply. The latest we got was about the courier being sent on 5th Jan From Express IT, which has not yet received and no body is saying anything about it.

                          2. This courier is marked as bounced on 22nd( No body was at the address ). Not possible, we can show you the proof of other letters received on the same date. For your kind information we always have a 24X7 security person appointed there.
                          3. Even if i take your point 2 as true , Doesn't your courier company understands how to dial a phone number. Even a simple uneducated person will visit the delivery site again and at least will drop a call. And that is why Phone numbers of receivers are mentioned on the Envelopes.

                          4. Since 22nd December till now, none of your executive have any information about this delivery [ STRANGE ].




                          On top of it ....When i shared previous email about the continuous follow ups ...I haven't yet got any reply. Let me know how long will you take to investigate this case .....

                          Sir, I am again telling you this ...the way all the things has happened " I don't trust reliance" , i can not handover all the original Documents to reliance. I can only do this once this all get settle.

                          I have taken a legal advice on it ....and things can't not be taken for granted. If you can not send the Original Policy document within 50 Days of generation of policy ... how would you keep our original document safe, i doubt if it will reach to your office.

                          What max i can do is ...i can send you scanned copy of all the original document and also a attested copy of the document. Once matter get solved i will submit them in person.

                          Also, the person you are sending should carry a valid Identity proof and a letter ( With Reliance letter head) stating he is authorized to collect the document.

                          There are series of Ignorance and insult done to us .... i am very very very disappointed from the reliance behavior.

                          I am devastated, broken intopieces not finding even words to express how bad I am feeling. Me and myfamily are passing through the most toughest time of our life. We lostour Little Angel "Prakrati Bhandari"(One and half yearold) in an accident she expired on 29 Dec 2010. The old sayingis coming true to me "Sukh meinSabb Saathi, Dukh mein Na koi". All the promises, attention & care given to the customerat the time of selling any insurance product suddenly disappears at thetime of providing the services. It seems like the sole motto of these bigorganizations is to gather the hard earned money of common man under name of "Insurance"(Scam). Nobody realizes / experiences theheight of negligence carelessness and in human behavior shown by RGI untilthey haven't met any miss happening within the family.

                          I am very unfortunate in thisregard, I got the real taste of life at very early stage. Got the trueface of reliance when this accident happened to my daughter. Here is thechain of incidences

                          [ 1 ]. I had anold policy with reliance PN.[protected] Dateof expiry 21/11/2010. This was the "Goldplan" , before the expiry of the Policy I got first callfor renewal in 22nd October 2010 and till 30thNovember 2010 I was continuously getting call for the Renewalof the policy ( See their promptness, politeness and caring nature ).During this period customer care kept on convincing me to go for standardplan. What I convinced from those conversation is that, Thepremium of gold plan is higher, I can get same facility if I go for standardplan for whole family. [ Note during this I was not even mention about theconditions, and any warranties ]

                          Through phone only I was convincedby customer care executive (Renewal department) to do a payment for StandardPlan which includes Health wise policy and Accidental policy for wholefamily. On 30th November 2010, I did a payment through my Citibankcredit card whose transaction detail is listed below.

                          As a token of receipt fromreliance, I only got three SMSes containing Policy number. Iwas not even aware that old card number for the health wise policy is notoperational, It was not even confirmed that my daughter is includedin the new policy or not. Since30 November 2010 till Now (16th January 2011) I have not yetreceived any Hard copy and not even New card under Health wise policy. Insunny day scenario this negligence is digestible, but in the rainy day(As it happened with me ) ? Should this be taken as excuse or matterto forgive ...certainly not this negligence is a criminal act.

                          [2] On 27th December2010 my daughter one and half year old "Prakrati" shehad a serious head injury in an accident. I was shocked withthe incident, couldn't see her in ICU when she was fighting between lifeand death. I was in such a big shock that I was telling everybody ....nothis has not happened with me....It is a dream...a Bad dream.....pinchme wake me up ..... this is not real. Seating in front of ICU ittook me some time to realize- Yes she is my daughter andit is a real incident ......I felt like somebody is drilling intomy heart .....a big pain inside .....I was crying like anything .

                          Just to provide her best possibletreatment we took her from Manu hospital to SantokbaDurlabji hospital in jaipur. I remember, that moment my brother asked me, "Do you have any medical insurance /Health policyfor her" I was speechless. Because I hadno answer for that. What I remembered at that timewas only one thing that I did a transaction of ~13000Rs to Reliance General Insurance on 30th November 2010. Iwas not even sure if She ( My daughter ) was finally includedin the policy or not. As I had no written proof / document which says "Prakrati"is also insured and it is confirmed. What was handy to me at thattime was only the OLD health wise policy card number[protected]. Iprovided this card to my cousin to check if we can get cashless onit [ *Please refer section [ 1 ]for the detailstory of policy ]. I was told that policy underthis card has already expired on 21 November 2010. I felt like "Hiroshima- Nagasaki", somebody has nuked us. ICried in hospital as if I gone Mad.......Shouted with Anger"GODPLEASE SAVE ME FROM ALL THIS ......." I stillremember it .......

                          Sir, I am feeling very shameto share this .... I had very little bank balance at that time andeven today....I decided to put my Gold engagement ring as a mortgage toarrange the money for the treatment. All that I wanted is mylife, my little Angel...back again. We were discussing thepossibility of taking her to Mumbai for better treatment, Iwas ready to cross all the limits......Just wanted to save her. ButI surrendered on the expenses front, I compromised with the treatmentbecause I couldn't afford the expenses to take her to Mumbai and get treatmentin "Bombay Hospital". I lether go .....because I am a poor father ...who couldn't saveher daughter due to financial limitations. Couldn't provide her bettertreatment.......I thought I don't have right to live ......But do you thinkI am the responsible person for this Loss....Do you think I could havesaved her .... Yes.....Had it been some other Insurance Policy with some other organization.....My daughter would have got the better treatment. I got screwed upby Reliance ...and still getting it ......

                          Sir, I knew about myfinancial limitations right from beginning ..... and realizing theuncertainty of the life in current world I opted for a Health wise policy & accidentalpolicy. I did this for my whole family, Me my wife and my daughter. Inold policy only me and my wife were included. In November onlyI included my daughter under the insurance plan & accidental plan.Till the time of accident, I had nothing in hand to know if my whole familywas covered or not. This is simply a case of Negligence .......I mustsay "RELIANCEIS RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS OF MY DAUGHTER" Thisis the big height till date (16th Jan ) they didn't send me any copyof document, No health wise card till date today..."May bethey are just waiting for another accident to happen ... andwaiting for rest of the members of family to vanish from the planet" Can't say about their intentions .......Because it is a BUSINESS forthem ..........and everything is fair in Busies.

                          At that moment I was so very muchpissed off by the reliance ......I spoke to myself " Mr..Ambani you don't know what wrong is going under your nose, itis ruining the name earned by Late Dhirubhai Ambani". Ifa person after taking a policy can not use it at the time when heneeds then what is the purpose of taking any kind of policy.

                          I am just trying to understand...what exactly happened ....Even after paying the premium amount ....can't they process a card and document with in 15 days. How longa courier takes to reach from point A to point B in India. Offcourse not infinitely( Because till date I have not received any post).

                          I asked myself ....Wasit a Charity ? Was it a donation .......that I did on 30th November ..what was that ....I can't understand. Even when I renewed thepolicy on 30th November 2010, I should have received a written copyof the policy with in 15 days. Simple case of fraud. Reliance killedmy daughter.

                          After loosing her .....I talkedto myself ....enough is enough .....I must check if they have includedmy daughter or not. I had kept this news - "Lossof my daughter" as a secret from Reliance. Hereis the sequence of calls and query


                          a) I Personally called themon 31st December to get the information about her. With old policynumber I got nothing, I was referred from one call center number to other.Then I remember that I had received the SIMS of transaction done on 30thNovember. I pulled out the SMS from my old hand set, and here I gotthe SMS information. I am typing the exact text that I received "Thankyou for choosing Reliance General Insurance. Your Health Wise Policy Numberis [protected]. You can view your policy and take a print by loggingon http://imd.reliancegeneral.co.in after48 Hours". I got the similar kind of SMS for Policy number[protected]&[protected]. When I tried to download the policy online Igot an error ( Invalid policy number). This was the shatteringmoment for me ......A big Jolt .....

                          b) I sensed the conspiracyby Reliance, and kept on calling the customer care keeping my head cooland not declaring that my daughter is expired. I was afraid of tellingit, because till that date I had nothing in my hand. Just three SMS, whichsays check online ...download online .....and when I tried to download....I got a slap on my face. I realized that ...something has gone wrongwith RGI(Reliance general insurance) Either they have not renewed my policyor ...they have goofed up something. I don't wanted my self to me victimof their cunningness ....I kept on asking for Hard copy.


                          Since 30th December 2010 weare asking RGI to send a hard copy as well as soft copy of the Policy.Can you realize how long it takes to send a soft copy of the policy onemail. Does it takes more than 5 days. Whenever I use to call customercare ....they will tell me ..."Sir you will get the soft copy of thepolicy with in an hour I am forwarding it". It took 5 days to forwarda soft copy of policy. I got it on 3rd of January 2011. And till date Ihave only received the soft copy. On enquiring about hard copy, we gota reply that "it has been dispatched on 31st December,then we got a reply it has been dispatched on 3rd of January, and the latestis It has been dispatched on 5th of January" every time weuse to call, this dispatching date changes.

                          For the first time on 3rdof January we got a complaint number, customer care acceptedour complaint. Its Complaint number is 1661171. I don'tknow under what section they have placed it. Till date there is no Hardcopy from Reliance, and no Card for Health wise policy.

                          Here are call details : -
                          I) First talk on Date31 December to customer care service, tried to download the policyfrom net. It got failed.
                          2) Tried the same thingon 1st of January as well it failed, tried to call local relianceperson.
                          3) On 3rd January called customercare Reference number 1654845,Complaint number 1654847. Informedby customer care that courier has been dispatched on 31st By ExpressIT and Docked numberis [protected].
                          4) On 5th January calledcustomer care at Time5.25 PM Person Mr.Gaurav Call reference number 1661086 .
                          5) On 5th of January 11 calledcustomer care at Tme5.41 Person AnitaCall reference number 1661171.
                          6) On 10th Of January Time 1.50 , 1.56 Person Savitha& Rajesh Call refrence number 1668988. ( Call was droped by customercare executive blatanly).
                          7) On 13th January Time3.30 Minutes Refrence number 1654845 (Oldone) ( Clearlydenied to provide us the call reference number ). They also provided usa new Docked number for the courier dispatchedAWB[protected]

                          Now when their call centerpeople knew something has went wrong with this policy, these people stoppedresponding to us. They even started dropping calls( We have all the callhistory and can bring that too in court), whenever we use to ask for referencenumber of the call, they will disconnect the call.

                          After getting pissed off fromthe calls, I started sending email ( To the email id which I got from reliancewith the soft copy of the policy services.[protected]@relianceada.com,)asking about the contradiction in the policy statement.


                          Here is the contradiction :- The table below says CSI is 10 Lakhs in case of Accidental death &the warranties/Conditions contradicts it. ?

                          To get the clear picture aboutthe policy and to go ahead with Accidental death claim ... Ikept on sending email starting from January 6 till January 12 on services.[protected]@relianceada.com, I have attached the whole email sequence in zip file. Till date we havenot received any reply ....a single reply to this email.

                          This is a super height ofinsensitivity ...in human behavior. They are just treating us as a streetdogs .....after taking money ....no use ....just wanted to throw usin Trash. In my email below even after I warned to take a legal action,I got zero reply from them. [Please see the attached email below ...a big silence from Reliance ]

                            Reg : Complaint Against Reliance Geenral Insurance – Paramount Health Service for non payment of Claim

                            This is with reference to Policy no [protected] favouring Neena Seth and Daya Shanker Seth , and claim rejected by Reliance General insurance – Paramount Health Services for the reason that treating docter has certified that it’s a case of hypertension since 2002 where as in the same certificate docter has also confimed that hypertension was treated and under control and this is a case of angenial pain and not hypertension. Secondly this policy is from 2008 ( With UCO BANK through National insurance Company – and later teiupcahnged) and not from 2009 as mentioned in the letter of Paramount dated 18/11/2010 .

                            Please find enclose the copies of letter exchanged and request you to help us in homouring our claim for Rs.13951/-

                              I approched one of Religare agent named Narayan Waghmode (11BRG237/ RELIGARE INSURANCE BROKING) for getting my home insurance done. I gave all the contents details and the value of those items. I got the policy document ([protected]) dt 25/08/2010, Where I have requested for the traditional policy with the details of the contents. I requested for copy proposal forms and contents details. Now I had some problem of mobile lost, and when i registered the cliam[protected] for the same, when i went to submit the claim supports, i came to know that the mobiles were not covered and also came to know that the Jewellery and Valuable items were also not covered. When I contacted the agent he is not ready to talk to me and not at all ready to help me.

                              Please take note of it. I came to from others that this agent done lot of mis guiding and not insured as requested and now they were facing the same problems. I can provide their contacts.

                              Hope compnay will take severe action against this agent.

This company is not issuing me NCB certificate because of this I am not able to avail NCB in my current policy from UIIC.                                 Recently one of my labour who works with me purchased a Splender at guduvanchery showroom 5 months before and got the reliance insurance. While driving he got skidded and bike was majorly damaged.

                                When contacted the show room, he was been asked to pay the amount first and then it would be reimbursed by Reliance Insurance company and the estimation given was 20, 000rs.I am not sure how a labour can spare his 20, 000 rs amount from his pocket and then reimburse from the company. That too the response was given by Tambaram branch was very poor, as though they dont care about reliance reputation.

                                I am not sure whether the complaint which i am writinng now, will be considered and action will be taken or not, but thought to right first on the complaint box before preventing my friends and relatives recommending other insurance company. Asmost of my friends and relatives have reliance insurance, it would be unsafe for us if we are going to get such a response from the branch, and also if the policy is not flexible to customer.

                                  I hold a health insurance policy (called Reliance Healthwise-Silver) of Reliance General Insurance for the last four years. The currently is due for renewal on 15th March 2011. I have received a policy renewal premium payment notice. The notice has indicated a premium amount of Rs16324/ which is almost five times more than what I had paid (Rs3634/) last year. I donot understand what would be the reason for such a huge and arbitrary increase in the premium while the annual inflation is less than 15%.

                                  I have raised this concern with IRDA. Apparently IRDA has approved this increase. Neither IRDA nor Reliance has given any feasible reasoning for this huge increase in one year.I suspect that ther is a collusion between IRDA and the Reliance general Insurance.Should the GOI accept such an exorbitant increase in the premium in one year even if the cost of treatment etc has risen.

                                  There must be some way to allay the customers' concern and particularly for someone like me who is senior citizen. I hope that the forum will take it up at appropriate level for mitigation.

                                    I am having Healthwise Gold policy for past 4 years with Reliance General Insurance, I haven't made any claim till now. The total premium paid by me put together for the past 4 years of Policy is INR 5643.

                                    The last premium paid by me is INR 1376, the premium asked by Reliance for renewal of policy is 6187, which is 450% in premium. There is no explanation for this unbelievable increase in premium.

                                    This is a fraud company who wants to throw out the customers. Never deal with Reliance General Insurance.

                                        I am a policy holder of Reliance healthwise policy number [protected] plan silver, paid already two times and now i received for a renewal of my policy of renewal premium of morethan 400% which cannot be accounted by any measure.

                                        Previously i paid first premium in 2009 as Rs.3000/-, now (2011) i received Rs.11,320/- is a gross amount, after 10% no claim discount it was stating 10,188/- net renewal premium. No medical investigation or procedure has increased to this extent over the last one year. It is wrong to charge people living tier 2 & 3 cities in the country for anomalous increase in some corporate hospitals existing in the major metros. It is also wrong to charge existing policy holders with known health history and claim status at par with new comers.

                                        All the more any hike of morethan 100% over and existing premium contradicts Policy Wording for Reliance Healthwise Policy, under terms & conditions, page no.6, item 20 subheading Renewal notice. A copy of the same is attached herewith for your kind perusual.

                                        I have contacted Reliance General Insurance Customer care for this many times by mail and on phone, but there is no use from their reply, all the staff are helpless in this matter for giving special discount for existing customers from this abnormal hike.

                                        Hence, i request your office please intervene this matter and take necessary steps to solve my problem with Reliance General Insurance Company cheating techniques keeping inview of policy holders.
