Hi ,
I bought a Sony LCD TV 2 years ago(KLV 32V550A). I had called up customer care reporting on a Defective HDMI port on Nov 2011. They sent a technician home from one of there Authorized Service Center(Vigneshwar Services,Koramangala,Bangalore) who came to the conclusion that Motherboard had to be replaced. I had told him to order the same an call me back regarding the status. But i never heard from him since.
Later i called in customer care and asked the status the tech had told me that the tech will come home and get the motherboard replaced immediately. The same technician came and wanted to open the TV again and he seems to have forgotten about the first service call completely until i showed him the first job card. He then told me it will take some time to order the part. I gave a go ahead to order defective parts again. Unfortunately that also did not happen. For around six month no one called and i was not able to follow up.
A month ago i had called Sony customer care again and complained about the same,i had spoken to a tech as well as a manager who confirmed that they will get my motherboard replaced asap.This time another technician from the same authorized service center(Vigneshwar Services,Koramangala,Bangalore called me that he wanted a receipt of the purchase though the warranty had expired and that did not make any sense as the warranty had expired and i knew had to pay for the service and i was ready to bear the cost. When i told him that i don't have the receipt he has denied service to me.
Sony being one of MNC i regret to say their service is really bad and this not the way they are expected to treat the consumer. That is why i am lodging this complain hoping that my concerns will be addressed .

SONY INDIA/KLV-32V550A LCD — POOR Customer CARE- SONY

Poor Customer Service
I have a logged in call for service 2 days back,2-jan and they said it will be done same day or atmost next day. But when no one turned up I called up the call center.
They SAY WE DONT OPERATE ON SUNDAYS IN PUNE.
AND THE GUY HUNG UP. HE IS SOMEWHERE FROM DELHI call center.

IS THIS THE WAY SONY TREATS ITS CUSTOMER....I would suggest give it a good thought before buying any SONY product. Such service is not expected from sony.

Really disappointing services

my xperia z1 was damaged by water by exposing it to normal rain and took it for repair through careonsite.first they didn't agree to repair my handset but I insisted to repair it because it is covered under accidental protection as provided by Sony and they agreed took my phone for repair and asked me to wait for 20-25 days .Now its been 40 days and still I ha vent got my phone back .They keep on extending due date for repair.
They are mentally harassing me by extending due date as they keep on changing the issues for delay.

I am not getting service as expected because I was a Sony fan.is this what Sony does to their costumers?? If they are facing difficulty in repair, why don't they replace it??
I would like to hear from Sony and anyone can tell me, how to file a case against Sony in this issue??
My Job # J41586776 & J[protected]for Sony Bravia LED 46 INCH TV) regarding Display Panel issue and my product is under warranty. Both the Job # assigned to Vigneshwar Services, Koramangala, Bangalore. They never give customer copy document after service. I raised this to them they said if product is under warranty they won't give customer copy document. I checked with Sony toll-free no.[protected], they said service agency need to give a customer copy document which carries part # and serial # for replacement and it is our right to ask the customer copy. I believe genuine parts from SONY is going somewhere, god only knows. They are very smarter than SONY and CUSTOMERS.

BEWARE WHILE BUYING SONY PRODUCTS
Worst service from authorised Sony service centre Vigneshwar Services Bangalore.

I have raised a complaint with request ID: 22113545 on 2 Nov 2014 regarding my Sony Bravia 42W7B purchased in August 2014. 1 Guy naming Shiva visited and checked the issue and said the chip need to be replaced and will come in 2 days to fix it. Today is 18 Nov. 2014, till date nobody come up or bother to update on my request. I tried calling Vigneshwar Services lot many times but always that number is busy and if it gets connected few times the person listen to my problem and askes to call back in 10 minutes to update me on the issue, but all in vein!! Nobody calls me back till today. I spoke to Vijay and Raghav in Vigneshwar Services...
This is the worst service provider from Sony. Have never expected this kind of service from such big brand like Sony!! This is just a name but worst service. I will never recommend to any to go for Sony.
Sony - Bad Service from Authorized service center(Vignesh Service Center)

Hi,

I bought Sony 32" LED TV on last Monday from EZone, Koramangala. They said Sony Authorized service center people will come and give the free wall mount kit . I am calling them from past one week..they are not responding.

I Have never expected this type of service from such big brand like Sony!! but worst service.

I do not want to give any ratings for VIGNESHWARA SONY SERVICE CENTER, KORAMANGALA because of their such poor service. I have gone 2 times for service of my 2 Sony phones, both the times i was treated badly and arrogantly. Sony being a superior brand in terms of product, accessories and everything has their customer service DEPRIVED. The girls behind the counter are RUDE and ARROGANT and give one line response to customer doubts. When we ask about the phone delivery, they give random dates and timings by when the phone is not ready. They don't even give STAND-BY PHONE for a 2 months old phone with warranty and expects the customer to wait for 35 days. They even expect the customers to call back and enquire about the phone delivery. Whenever i go o the service center always some customers are shouting about their negligence and inexperience. I want SONY INDIA to look into the matter and give us some response.

Yes - VIGNESHWARA SONY SERVICE CENTER, KORAMANGALA is very bad Sony service center in Banglore. Technicians will not speak in English and tell us to speak in local languages. Rude behavior. Bad management.
I gave my Sony Xperia Z1 for repair on 18th July, 2015 as my phone's screen broke and touch panel stopped reponding. They said they'll let me know of the status in a few days. It took them 10 days just to confirm that the screen is broken!!! After that, its been another 20 days and I am yet to recieve my phone back even though I have repeatedly insisting them if you can't provide a quick service, please return back my phone but they have given one lame excuse after another. I am REALLY disappointed with Vigneshwar Service Center, Kormanagala and would never recommend anyone to go there.

    I had some problem with my TV. I took the help of JUST DIAL service to find one TV repair service center. The technician of this SONYAMC ELECTRONICS told me that there is a faulty IC and needs to be changed and he said as he is from SONY company, he has the original IC with me which will last long. He also gave me a receipt with 6 months guarantee for the changed parts, but within a week the same problem started again and since then I am requesting them to come and get it fixed but they are not sending their technicians giving some or other excuses. The girls who answers the call are very rude. They keep on disconnecting the calls. Its almost 3 weeks now, they are not repairing the TV.

    So never ever appoint such cheater service provider to get the work done.

    my cash bill no.11002 of 30.09.2012 ONIDA TV repaired by Md.Ali Khan, asst. mr ramesh. Tv worked only half day. Immediately I informed to your office and mechanics.But nobody cannot attend. This is very irregular, irresponsibility and very very worst servicing.I have paid Rs.1800/-. my address is Plot no.4, 5-6-589/5, skd nagar colony, vanasthalipuram.opp.Dilsukhnagar public school, beside Narasimha swamy temple, hyd-500070.
    I had speaker problem with my onida TV. I took the help of online serch service to find TV repair service center in Hyderabad. m/s sulekha.com sugested The name of service provider SONYAMC ELECTRONICS sainikpuri hyderabad.the technician of this SONYAMC ELECTRONICS told me that speakers needs to be changed and he said as they are authorised service provider from SONY company.He took
    one of the original speaker with him as a speciman and next day he brought matching speakers and repaired by changing few ICs which will last long. He also gave me a receipt no 10797 dtd 20.10.2012 with 6 months guarantee for the changed parts i.e.Rs 1350 for the speakers and 150 service chargestotal Rs 1500.00, but within 2 days the same problem started again and since then I am requesting them to come and get it fixed but they are not sending their technicians giving some or other excuses. The girls who answers the call are very rude. They keep on disconnecting the calls. Its almost 10 days now, they are not repairing the TV.

    So my humble request to sulekha.com never ever sugest/appoint such cheater service provider to get the work done.

      16 days gone not a single call come to me from SONY INDIA only they believe to sell product hook or by crook we mail 10 mail to company [protected]@ap.sony.com & [protected]@ap.sony.com but not proper response . either they have not proper set up or not willing to entertain costomer. So we request the all user of this forum never buy Sony Laptops
      we again want to request to RELINCE DIGITAL do not sale such company product. We communicate all known & relatves Not Purchase Sony Product
      we puzzeled. they sale chinese items so castly in INDIA to tag own names

        I had been sold the defective product (technical defects - mic, speaker and camera button were not functioning properly) on 13th July 2012 which was replaced after several deliberations on 28th July 2012 which had to be picked by me from your store due to non shipment on time.

        The replaced product is also defective ( loose backcover).I went to store on 29th July 2012 as well as had a talk with customer support but nobody is ready to replace my product.This behavior shows that CROMA is hardly bothered about their name and reputation and once they have sold a product be it defective they are least ready to take responsibility of the same.

        This is the case of duping the customer from their online site by selling defective products.

            Hi,
            I purchased Sony Xperia Sola on June 24, 2012 in Univercell, brookefields, Coimbatore. IMEI Number: [protected].
            After 2 days of purchase, the phone touch screen stopped working.
            When I went to the sony ericsson certified service center in T Nagar and asked for the solution, they did not respond well and when I asked for replacement or DOA, they said it would take 10 days and also said DOA is not at all possible.
            Finally, I gave my phone for replacement to Sony Service center(Mobile care, Tambaram) on July 19, 2012.
            Then I got my phone replaced on July 26,2012. New IMEI Number is [protected].

            Today(29.07.2012), my phone stopped working again. The problem is very severe as I was not able to even switch on the phone. It doesn't even respond after multiple tries.
            Now I am frustrated, so please take back my phone and hand over at-least the mobile charge. I don't even require convenience charge, please payback my mobile cost. That is enough for me.

              t.v.suddenly failed and only indicator light is blinking.I connected to company's service center.

                TO the Complaints department,

                SIR,
                I have purchased a SONY ERICSSON mobile handset named WT13i on 30th June 2012 from UNVERCELL store.(IMEI NO. [protected])From there onwards on 12th July 2012 i raised a 1st complaint in SONY service center on 12th JULY 2012 that my mobiles touch screen is not working properly and on 14th JULY i recieved my mobile containing that my touch screen is not working and it takes 6 days time to change the touch screen and there after i handover my mobile to UNIVERCELL MANAGER and he raised a complaint on 14th JULY 2012 in ACCEL CARE CENTER, Micro pheripherals No:32, 1st floor, ABOVE CANARA BANK, OPP. ORIENTAL BANK OF COMMERCE, SAROJINI DEVI ROAD, SECUNDRABAD and UNIVERCELL MANAGER gave me my mobile on 21st JULY 2012 saying that my mobile acessories are changed but truth is that those people dint change any acessories just they upgraded the software.(so i have 1 question that is it tooks 8 days to upgrade the software) those people gave my the false information(this information i came to know by UNIVERCELL MANAGER ON 26th JULY 2012) and there after on 25th JULY 2012 i again faced the problems like touch screen,hang,low volume,black dots on screen, and then i raised a 3rd complaint on 26th JULY 2012 in ACCEL CARE CENTER, Micro pheripherals No:32, 1st floor, ABOVE CANARA BANK, OPP. ORIENTAL BANK OF COMMERCE, SAROJINI DEVI ROAD, SECUNDRABAD that iam facing the same problems in my mobile and handed over my mobile to them and on 27th JULY 2012 i visited there and those people gave statement that your mobile is okay but i showed the problem live which iam facing but those people saying that its takes 2 or 3 seconds to type a each word and they even put my sim card in mobile for more than half an hour and kept it on observation and they r giving me senseless feedback, now they are saying that it takes more 5 days to solve my problems and iam nt getting the proper feed back and i am not sure that whether those people going to change the acessories or just repair it because earlier they gave me fake information through UNIVERCELL MANAGER. So i request u to solve my problem and kindly replace my mobile and its hardly i used my mobile for 15 days from the date purchasing and rest it was in service center and from date puchasing i have raised a complaint 3 times with in a month....SO PLEASE solve my problem.................... and please contact me on my number [protected]

                    Dear sir,

                    I have purchased the Sony Xperia Arc S mobile for Rs. 25,000/- including vat 5% on[protected] at Sai Balaji Enterprises, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh vide Invoice no.2789. After using the unit for three days, the display of the mobile is not working. I have contacted the dealer where I have purchsed to replace the unit. He did not agreed for replacement and suggested to go for the repair under warranty. Then I have contacted the service center i.e. M/s. Accel Care Center, # 10-50-60/3, Above "The Pit Shop", adjacent to Ragavendra Swamy Temple, Ram Nagar, Visakhapatnam - 530020 and submitted the unit for repair on[protected] vide work order number: SE[protected]. I have the received the call from the service center that the unit was repaired and ready to deliver. I have contacted the service center to receive the unit on[protected]. The service technician has informed that the main board was replaced to resolve the issue. While checking the unit in the premises of the service center and infront of the service technician, the same issue repeated with in minutes. The service technician has checked and informed me to submit the unit for 2nd time repair. I have handed over the unit to the service center on same day i.e.[protected] vide work order number: SE[protected]. After that, I have visited service center on[protected] regarding the satus of the repair and they informed that the part which was ordered is coming and will get back to me when the repair was completed. On[protected] morning, I have received the call from the service center that the part was delivered on[protected] evening and the unit was repaired and kept under observation for one day and suggested to come and collect the unit by the evening of[protected]. I have gone to the service center on[protected] aftenoon to collect the unit. While checking the unit, the same issue arised again. After seeing all this, I understand that the unit is having some manufacture defect. Hence, I have informed the service center manager to replace the handset with new one by which the issue will be resolved permenantly for me. They did not agree and informed to contact the customer care for replacement. I have contacted the customer care several times vide ticket no. 9338576 and lodged a complaint for replacement of the unit on[protected]. The complaint number is SES[protected]. As of now the issue was not resolved and the handset was not handed over to me from[protected] onwards.

                    Hence, I request you to take the necessary action to resolve the issue permanently by replacing the unit with new one.

                    Sony Ericsson — DELAYING REPLACEMENT OF SET

                    Their customer service is very much un satisfactory.
                    I bought the K790 about 5 months back.Just a little more than 2 months, the phone became dead.I send it for repairs and after 1 month the service centre said that they'll replace my phone with a new one.Now its almost 1 month and still no word from them.I've called them before and they kept on saying that I'll get by next week when actually I never get when the next week comes.So, this evening I went to the service centre and they said that I might get after 3 or 4 months.Now imagine waiting for 5 or 6 months to get back my phone.Is n't this the worst customer service.
                    My advice to you all is buy any Sony Ericsson phones at your own risk and pray that nothing goes wrong with your phone otherwise you'll have to wait for 5 or 6 months like I am waiting now.
                    I am even considering of taking them to court for making me wait for too long which is causing lots of tension and stress.
                    Hii i have given my W580 i in bangalore mobile service center on Jan .. still i am not getting any proper response to them.. If anyone knows where to contact the corresponding authorised person..pls let me know immediately.. They r almos making my life and my mob mobile very miserable.. i am fed up with them, .. Everyday i am calling them and not getting a proper reply regarding to that ..

                    Sony Ericsson — Replacement of handset

                    Sir/Madam,

                    This is the issue regarding the my new Sony Ericsson handset C903. I purchase this set on 08/07/2010 at9:30pm from Spice hotspot janakpuri,and start facing problem from my new set on the 6th day of purchase.so i went to the Ericsson's service center 15July for the replacement of my set.but when i told that i am facing problem from my handset and want the replacement of it since my set is only 6 days old set, service replied that sorry we can't replace it we can just repair it . i agreed OK u do what you feel right to do but please tell when i will collect my set back ,so they told me that you can take it on Monday .when again i call the service guys on Monday they told me sorry sir your handset is in repair process and you will get it back on next Monday that is on 26july.

                    Now the problem is that ,i purchase this set for my convenience purpose but now i don't have any mobile to use,since the Sonyericssion is not providing the standby set. now without mobile i am facing lots nl ots problem and losses. so i want that now Sonyericssion will pay me the delay charges with the replacement of my handset and also compensate the losses i had because of mobile.
                    Now Please suggest me what to do.

                      centre they are saying that your laptop will replace within 1 week but there is no
                      response from service centre

                      they are always saying that your laptop will replace in two days but after 15 days they don't dive any confirmation of laptop

                      so please take strict action on them solve my problem

                        I purchased sony vaio E series laptop one year back and just after the completion of 1 year warranty period ( exactly speaking after10 days after warranty) hard disk got crashed. And I have to replace the hard disk and for that I spent over 6000 inr and the most funny thing is that even though after warranty period we are obliged to obey company's rules that supPose 320 gb hdd had to be replaced we had to replace with 500 gb , even if its actually necessary or not for the customer, anyway I am going with 500 gb. So I humbly request all VAIO users to go for extended warranty i[censored] had not done it so far, otherwise u may get screwed.

                        Sony VAIO — HARD DISK CRASH

                        I had purchased Sony Vaio just 20 days back from USA. Back in India, when i switched it on it stopped booting. In Local Service Centre i was told its hard disk has crashed & its warranty is also not valid here.
                        I have Sony Vaio VEPCEB24EN model . 2 months after purchase my Hard disk got crashed & when i went to the service centre they replaced my 320 gb hard disk with 500 gb hard disk at free of cost & took 5-7 days to replace it . Since then my laptop is working absolutely fine at the moment and recently i have upgrade my laptop with windows 8 pro and it is working fine at the moment.

                          I'm extremely disappointed at Sony, I purchases Sony 26 inch LED model number EX55 on 14/7/12 from Vijay Sales Preet Vihar
                          This was installed on 17/7/12 at 10:15 PM through engineer gaurav that time he also confirmed me sound of TV is very low , which sound out put on between 25 to 30 actually come on 100 (max)
                          He said “he will send a service engineer next day” somehow nobody turned up than I made a complaint on service center
                          Engineer visit my home today and he said “ your TV is ok but as u requested you again send this report to service center once report will come I’ll let u know”
                          What is this???
                          If I knew that I would have so much trouble trying to get rid of this TV, I would never have purchased this set

                                Hi,

                                MY Sony Xperia is just 8 and a half months old. Suddenly it got switched off suddenly so given to Sony Authorised Serive Centre ( AMBE ELECTRONICS ) at Atta Market, Sector 18 Noida on 22 June,2012. I was given a Work Order no-SE312ECA10830.

                                I was suppose to get delivery on 28June2012.

                                But, I have not yet received my Mobile repaired. Everytime I called them they tell us to check the next day or Contact their Call Centre at[protected]. When we call them they give us another Ref Number[protected]. But with that Reference number whenever we called them, they tell us to check with the Service centre & they tell us to contact CAll centre.

                                Thus days are rolling by & Result yet.
                                THis is utter nonsense & there is no specific contact person or number to talk.

                                Can You please help us in geting my mobile repaired Back to us.
                                IT IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY PERIOD as it just 9 months old.

                                  I had purchased C905 model (IMEI No. [protected]) in 2010 end from spice network (rs. 13,500). After 3 months of working the hardware of the same tore off & audio, earspearker problem occured in that. The cell was under warranty & submit the same to sony service centre at sector-14, gurgaon. It's date is 18thfeb'2011 & work order no. Se311utt10087. After that despite of repeated reminders & personal follow up (even sending mails to sony customer care & head of service) I was not able to recover my cell phone.

                                  I want to place a penalty on sony on account of poor service & customer harrasment. I have original repeipt of purchase, original work order receipt & mails communication with sony as an evidence.

                                        Hello Sir,

                                        Myself Prasanth P here... I bought a Sony Ericsson Neo V from Rediff shopping on April 9 for Rs 15590. Withing 15 days it

                                        got damaged. When I contacted Sony Ericsson Authorized Service center, they said its not under their warranty you have to

                                        contact rediff. I contacted them back. they asked me to send it back through ARAMEX... them took around 12 days to come and

                                        pick the product from me and I got the same product without even repairing without even replacing. hope you can understand

                                        my feeling...

                                        I contacted them again and asked me to send it back again.. And I send it back again and yesterday I recieved the pack

                                        without even repairing without even replacing... TOTALY FEDUP.... i tuk the piece to authoriezed service center to check

                                        the issue.... I got the report from them that... its a hardware issue and for repairing it will cost around 70-80 % of the

                                        product...

                                        Could you please make arrangement to get a fresh piece of the same mobile or money back because they have proved twice that they cant repair the mobile hand set.

                                        Please consider this with high priority... beacuse all this process took around 3 months.
