Center Keys of my Sony Ericsson stopped working because of strip complaint of this sliding phone, Service center people told me like, Sony Ericsson had stopped the support of this model. I purchased this phone about 1.5 years back for around rs. 10500. Now i need to throw this phone because of the withheld of this spare that cost around 500.(spare is available; but service center people got an instruction like dont use that).

Sony Ericsson/ Mobile W705 — Delay in delivery of Mobile

Sir/Madam
This is to inform you that I have given my mobile W705 dated 3rd Nov to one of the service centre Mobile technology , 1785/45, Opp YMCA, D N Nagar, Link Road, Andheri west 400053

My mobile is under warranty. Normally time taken for the delivery is 15 days but here the scene is different. Its 1 month but still i didnt receive my phone. Everytime I call or visit the service centre I get new dates.

I dont understand what to do. I called them and warned but no revert. I also marked a mail to questions.[protected]@support.sonericcson.co.in


Kindly consider the matter.

    Hi, my name is Ankit Garg, a resident in Pitampura. I had purchased a Sony LED TV and Home Theatre System, for which the representative of Sony came and did not install any speakers or the TV from the TWO PRODUCTS and took the installation voucher for later work and reference. Now, after at least a week of continuous calls to the concerned person and the company and the store from which the products were brought there is no response from any of them and are charging for the installation along with no action against the fraud happened with us.

      Sony Ericsson — Phone is not working

      i am having BSNL cell one [protected].Some times it is not working outside odisha.Emergency calls only message is displaying.

      Sony Ericsson — New phone five daysold not working

      I, Imran Qureshi had purchased the new sony eric neo v handset on 29Dec 2011. On 4th jan the speaker stopped working. As i was busy with work, I went to the service centre on 9th Jan 2012 to ask for a replacement of the handset but they refused. However, they repaired my handset and returned it to me on 17th Jan 2012. Now the phone is not working. It is completely shut. I need a replacement which the company is not giving. I did not get a chance to use my phone even for a week and all this problem started. Pls help.

        Sir,i had purchased the sony vaio laptop MODEL No-NW VGN-NW25GF in 2009.and after 2 years its motherboard was replaced becoz of some start up problem.....and after 2-3 months ,some of its keys stopped working.....what shall i do???

          This is vijay jangid received sony bravia 32" lcd tv from my company on 15 may 2012 in morning & at 12:20 pm i was made a call to sony customer care for installation they registered request & provide me request no.10123889,but till now i didn't got any response from sony after that i was made two calls to sony but not desired response come. i m surprised to see the pathetic customer servicing status of world no. 1 lcd maker company.

            I bought a brand new Xperia S on 11th of April, after few days i found yellow spot on its screen, so i went to Sony Service Centre & asked for replacement, they asked me to deposit my cell phone in their centre & gave time of 1 week which took around a month to complete with this process, at tha time also i called up the person in Chennai head office to forward the mail their senior to get my cell phone replaced, anyhow i got repacement done after 1 month & now when o went with the PVN letter to the retailer, he said that he want be able to get me the Phone with those accesories which i got in the starting (Car Charger & NFC Tags)& that was the main reason to buy that phone in the starting, as it was a deal, i didn't spent my 31400 rupees to listen such rubbish things. I want my accessories back.

            Sony has made a very bad image now, My previous phone was Xperia Arc, but after these things, i would never prefer for Sony.

            Please help me with my requirements.

            i have bought a brand new xperia p (5 months ago). but i have used it only for 20 days. it has a problem in transparent part it occurs a gap in transparent part . i give my handset to service center. after 1 month my handset will replaced with swapped one. after 3 days it will also have the same problem. till now my handset is on process..
            very very poor service of sony.
            from my experience please never bought a sony phones.

            i have bought a Sony xperia tipo 21i2 (3 months ago). but it has a problem. i wan not able to make or receive a calls, other massage shows :- not registered network. i give my handset to service center. on 27 Jan 2012. I still not get my phone back.

            I am writing you with the great sorry that i didn't get my phone so far. I am fully irritate with your services. Its been more then 20 days to submitted my mobile in Sony service center.

            But your way of services shows that either sony is very poor company, sony doesn't have spare part of the phone to supply to service center or sony just concentrate for selling their product not for customer service.

            I have received a defective mobile from sony showroom, it was creating problem from day one.

            When i submitted my mobile they make me promise to deliver within 10 days after replacing the defective part, now 20 days has passed away i yet to get the delivery.


            I am facing a lots of problem
            from my experience please never bought a sony phones.

            SONY XPERIA - DIES BEFORE 3 MONTHS and NO ONE IS READY TO REVIVE IT

            To whom-so-ever this may concern,

            Firstly I would start by saying - I WAS a big fan of Sony .

            I had bough the oh-so-tempting ( the Katrina Kaif starrer ) - the great - SONY XPERIA Z on the 19th of May as a birthday gift from my dad . And this was supposed to be the last phone ever to be gifted by my dad. And it has turned out to be an UTTER DISAPPOINTMENT .

            The phone refused to charger itself on the 03rd of August '13 . So my dad went to the so-called-authorized -- Service center for getting it checked.

            Then I went on the 09th Aug at 11 o'clock to check the status as the toll free no. refused to work. I was told that I will be getting a replaced phone (as sony xperia Z does not get repaired )and was asked to wait 20 min. I waited patiently . After which I was informed that they have to update the OS and that the battery was charging up slowly . I said there is not need for the up gradation - I will do the needful if necessary . She insisted that it was Sony - policy . I grew suspicious - when you buy a new - and if these guys were giving me replaced phone - why did it need up gradation ? But as I had some faith - I let this slide . I was told to come after 3 - 4 hours. I called up again post lunch and was informed that the phone is still not "done" (I don't know what was to be done as it was a new phone ) and that their SERVER was running slow so they could not get it updated. I was assured that the phone will be all ready by 11 o'clock the next day.

            I went there and was handed a phone in a brown cardboard box (it had no sony logo or anything on it ) I opened it and was shocked . IT WAS A USED PHONE.
            Firstly, it had the front and back scratch guard on with scratches on it . This was supposed to be a replaced phone !!! It wasn't even in a ""boxed piece"" .
            Secondly, when the sockets were opened - there was dust and black dirt in them.
            Thirdly, THIS WAS CLEARLY NOT A REPLACED PHONE .

            The receptionist said this is the "replaced phone" we got from sony - you check the IMEI no.

            I went on then to speak to the person in charge. (who was the same person I spoke to who said the phone needed up gradation )

            I told him point blank - this is not a replaced phone and I will not accept it. He asked me what makes you feel so ? I pointed out the scratch guard - the dirt - and if it was a new phone what software update was needed and if he could not help me - I needed someone who would. He said he needed to talk to his boss and ask PERMISSION (for what I have no clue about ) . He refused to give his boss's contact no. as he said "that is my duty to contact him" !! I also told him that if this is clearly an unboxed piece even if there is only a handset . There is no plastic covering - no internal cardboard to support it - if it was shipped. How was I to trust him that he is not giving me a replaced phone.

            Then he went inside - we waited for 20 minutes. He came out saying - that his boss had "Granted him permission" and that I will have to wait to fr sometime to carry out some formalities. I waited for 35 min . In this time I realized there was not a single OFFICIAL Sony XPERIA logo or anything even relating to sony there - except for 2 flimsy cut outs of Katrina Kaif holding the phone - which looked to be stolen from an Xperia prmotional event. The service center also i think conveniently forgot to mentioned that this was a xperia service center only.

            The guy then came out with a form to be filled - believe me this was no regular SONY form - and it had a category mentioned where he had to fill in who the vendor was - that was sony . He then filled the reason for complaint (after taking a good whole minute ) was that there was dust on the phone and network problem. And he asked me to sign it . I asked him what was the " network problem " he then scratched it out. I went out and wrote "dust found on a replaced phone" .

            Then I went to ask him whether this was an authorized sony xperia service center - and then it it was a CLOUDBURST ! there were - THIRD PARTY VENDORS.

            And then the guy went on rude on me and told me that the HO was in Delhi (which I clearly knew and that was the reason I was coming to him and not going to Delhi) and that they have a contract with Sony and blah blah blah !! At this point he wanted him out of there as there was a huge customer base and obviously did not want them to hear that he was not he OFFICIAL sony Xperia GUY !

            I asked when was I supposed to contact back if he could give me an ETA and he lashed out on me and said - don't you know ? it's the same like last time - you must be familiar . I was like excuse me. This is no way of serving a customer - let alone courtesy - he was not even empathetic. To get me out of there he has asked me to contact on the 13th of August.

            I have clearly mentioned - I need to see the piece unboxed in front of me. If I am still not satisfied and it does not mark upto the expectation of a new replaced phone - I WILL NOT ACCEPT IT and WILL SEND IT BACK.

            To end this all - I really had so much faith in Sony as a brand. My first ever phone was a Sony Ericsson. My first ever Laptop was a Sony . My first ever camera was a sony. Our first ever Television upgrade was a Sony and all of them have given me impeccable customer service - SO WHY NOT WITH SONY XPERIA ?

            Should I expect my Rs. 40, 000 to go down the drain ? Should this me my memory of the LAST phone ever gifted to me by my dad !!!

            I HOPE NOT.

                Dear Sir,
                Before a couple of months back I had purchased Sony vivo laptop from Arya system Rajkot. Before a week I notice one problem that DVD writer is not working which I had used by first time. im in shock, highly devastated AND DISAPPOINTED that such will happen to a sony laptop. i mean i thought sony was a renowed and reputable electronics company. obviously i thought wrong!!!!!Then I went your service station which is located in Rajkot city in Gujarat named DHVANI sales and service , A-2, Paras estate, Near Ashok nagar Metal industries , Tagore road Rajkot – 360002 , Phno –[protected] contact person – Mr. Dipakbhai or Mr. Shaileshbhai.
                He take full day for checked my laptop and at the end of days he conclude that there is a problem with DVD writer which, he agreed for replacement under warranty, and he create Job order no. J20216904 dtd. 09.05.12 as per him it is very minor defect which will be correct within two days time. In fact in front of me he check the availability for DVD writer for the same model in SAP and found that it is available at Delhi.
                After 2 days I had visited service center on 12.05.12 for the same but I am getting unsatisfactory answer that again it took more two days.
                Again after another 2 days I visited service center on 15.05.2012 and that time I am getting a surprise answer that “Please talk direct at customer care center for the fix date” he didn’t having any fix date
                So I used your toll free number[protected] and talked with Mr. Yogesh, as per him defective parts till now not dispatched from Delhi office.
                Finally I understood that every man and every agency give us different answer from their actual user. Till now I am not sure when can I get solution for my problem.
                Need your help and intervention to close this issue.
                Your quick response for the subject matter is highly appreciated.

                Laptop — Dvd writer not working

                  I bought Sony Erickson xperia st15i phone recently. Initial 2 days it was working fine .. From day 3 it started giving me trouble like shakes internally, function are not working properly, cal gets disconnected in middle( I got shouts a lot from my mom), some times it wont allow me to unlock the screen and from my past 1 month of experience .. nowadays twice a days almost for half an hour its not even allowing me to do anything on it. It alerted me to download V4, when i was trying to download every-time server busy.

                  Why the model has worst behavior. I'm giving minus ( - ) rating to this model. I feel that I wasted my 12k for that I'm going to jump like anything to service center people. Why Sony Erickson cheats?

                  Guys .. My advice ..don't go for " Sony Erickson xperia st15i ". Please read my review before buying this model. Is the same you are also feeling?

The market Price i got from thee Xperia Show room is Rs30000/- only, i want to know why thee mobile store charged me Rs1300/- (Extra). I need a proper action regarding theis. Please do thee needful.

                      Sir,
                      I had purchased above set thru your local dealer on 14-04-12 , but i sincerely regret to inform that it is the worst phone i had ever used.
                      Firstly the inbuilt phone lock is purely useless as it unlocks by itself with a slight movement of slider causing false calls, messages etc...
                      secondly audio speakers are of very inferior quality,key boards are not visible,recently its mother board got corrupted which was later on replaced by your service center.
                      Kindly suggest us the best solution for all this as i m no longer willing to use this set any more!!

                        dear sir
                        we wanted to get the sony laptop repaired. so we asked the justdial for a sony auth service centre and we were given a number of karampura. we contacted the person and we were told that they are the auth service centre and they would send somenody to collect the laptop for repair. they collected it. and gave a estimate of 4000. after 4-5 days they said that motherboard needs a change and they would have to get it from banglore. and it will take weeks time. so the story continued. Mr. Rajat who intorduced himself as calling from SONY AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRE at KARAMPURA (NO. [protected]) even after one month they told that they are the auth service center and laptop is under repair. finally after one month when we got fed up of excuses we asked for the place and we found out that they were not a service centre rather a small time comp repair centre who got the thing ties up with the justdial to get unautherised sony/ others laptop for repairs. when we contacted the owner Mr Deepak sharma of

                        at the end of the day we found out that laptop had been now sent to auth sony service centre by the above mentioned firm. by now the laptop was badly damaged and as per the wording of the technician from sony it does not look like a laptop at all. screwed up nicely and properly. and the charges had been increased to 38000 by the vendor whereas sony had asked for only 33000.

                        i landed up in this situation just because of one wrong info provided by justdial i wonder if justdial would pay for my laptop repair or can get me a new laptop.
                        please guide me so that i can undo the damage done to my laptop.

                          SONY Laptop problem Model no VPCEG25EN, Serial No 7015424 - LED Screen Trembling
                          Hi,
                          My name is Ananth Prabhu, Chennai. I’m using SONY Laptop Model no VPCEG25EN, Serial No 7015424.
                          I had purchased on 31st December 2011, from ASKI Computers, Ashok Nagar, Chennai. I want to make a complaint about your service center response for LED Screen trembling.
                          On Monday (7th May 2012), we have given the laptop to your ADYAR service center for LED Screen trembling. After two days, that is today (09th May 2012) morning, they have stated that the problem is normal in this laptop. The reason stated that is while using laptop, the LED screen size may grow big, Because of this, the SCREEN will be shaky.
                          How is it possible? I don’t understand. By that time, I have raised a few questions to your customer care executive? For those questions, there was no answer from Customer Care executives.

                          Questions raised from my end..
                          1. How the screen will be expanding, while using laptop? (No Answer from your Customer Care Executive)

                          My name is Ananth Prabhu, Chennai. I’m using SONY Laptop Model no VPCEG25EN, Serial No 7015424.
                          I had purchased on 31st December 2011, from ASKI Computers, Ashok Nagar, Chennai. I want to make a complaint about your service center response for LED Screen trembling.
                          On Monday (7th May 2012), we have given the laptop to your ADYAR service center for LED Screen trembling. After two days, that is today (09th May 2012) morning, they have stated that the problem is normal in this laptop. The reason stated that is while using laptop, the LED screen size may grow big, Because of this, the SCREEN will be shaky.
                          How is it possible? I don’t understand. By that time, I have raised a few questions to your customer care executive? For those questions, there was no answer from Customer Care executives.

                          Questions raised from my end..
                          1. How the screen will be expanding, while using laptop? (No Answer from your Customer Care Executive)
                          2. If it is not working (LED Screen) after finished warranty, who will be responsible? ( No Answer from your Customer Care Executive )

                            I have a Sony Ericsson hand set W995 which is 1.5 years old. The performance of the set during the perid was excellent. The strip of the set got damagd in Febrruary last week this year.I have approached different service stations at Calicut and Palakad;but the service support offered were very poor.At Palakad,the certified service centre Znex Telecom, NS Tower , Near stadium bus stand was not at all interested even looking in to the matter and denied any possibility of getting the set repaired by saying the strip will not be available & it has been withdrawn from the market.At Calicut,Care Point, Das Bldg.Railway Station link road asked for Rs.2100/- as the price of strip which is more than double the amount, estimated later, by Sahar communications, Kannur.Moreover ,The Care Point revealed that they are not at all registering the the complaint into the site of Sony Ericsson. Now I have submitted the set to Sahar communication, Kannur (Work order No:SE312SH110715)and waiting for 15 days ie a victim of poor service support from Sony Ericsson, unable to use the hand set for more than last 2 months. I have sent complaint to the site of Sony Ericsson ;but It remains un answered even after a lapse of 5 days

                              "The employees of sony service center, varanasi made fraudulent with me. Now it is hard to make believe on your product & services. Plz look into the matter and make justice so that your reputation may be strong between the people of India. I tell about the terrible story in brief which happened with me. I have a sony TV model Trinitron. it stopped working last month. after two or three day i came to know that a sony tv engineer from service center is come to installed new Sony LED. I met him and asked about the contact no. of sony tv service center varanasi. he told his name as Anil(Mob. No. [protected]) and give a mobile number for this purpose that is [protected]. I made ring on this number, the recipient told me that he was speaking from Sony service center varanasi then I told him about my problem and request him to arrange to repair it. The recipient told me that he will visit tomorrow for this purpose. The next day he came to my house and give his identity as engineer of sony service center varanasi. I saw him my TV and he tried to repair it near about half an hour then he told me that a DAYODE is having fault. I ask for the fee of repairing it he told 1000/-. I request him that if only a DAYODE will be change this amount is too high, he accept my request and say to pay 500/- for it. I agreed and make request to repair it, the the engineer of sony tv said me that I can made it immediately but your circuit plate have some moisturizer and it need to wash otherwise the DAYODE will stop working again. Because he is from your service center i made belief on him and let him go with my circuit plate to your service center. the next day i call the him & ask for my TV. he told me that it will need some more money and blackmailed me. Due to circumstances i agreed to pay more but he was greedy and next day he told that the ST of my TV is stop working when i said him that i am going to lodge FIR, he accepted that ST is working properly but he din't give it yet." I have recorded the conversation with engineers of sony service center.

                              I have purchased a Handy Cam Model no DCRDVD708/C E37 Serial no 2931727 from New Radio house, Bongaigaon on 21.04.2007.
                              At time of purchase a spot was noticed in the lance of the Camp; the Service agent of your co stated that it will not affect on the photograph.
                              We went for a long outing and had taken lot of photograph. When I uploaded the same in the computer, we could find spot on every photograph.
                              For changing the lance, I deposited the Cam along with a Service Coupon to our local Sony dealer M/S New Radio house, Bongaigaon on 31.07.2007 against their complain no 003.
                              Your Service representative took the same and handed over to Gauhati, Tech Shop, Rajgarh, Main Road, opposite A V Complex, Gauhati 781003.
                              In spite of repeated telephonic request, visit to your local dealer and request to your Local Service Agent we have not received back the Handy Cam till date.
                              In view of above you are requested to instruct your Service personnel to arrange for return us the Handy Cam after repacing the lance or else replace with a new one.
                              Your prompt action will be highly appreciated.

                                i had forwarded the sony vaio for repairs at the karmapura service center for repairs. they checked and told me that it can be repaired and would just cost 4000/ . than after two days the estimate was taken to the 12000 and i was told that the mother board needs a change .
                                they have kept the laptop with them for 1 month and after one month they have revised the estimate to 38000/ and tell me that motherboard needs to be changed alongwith the cpu and heat sink. when i inquired about the laptop today i was told it is in the service center and that service center was in kirtinagar jail road. when i inquired in the kirtinagar service center i was told that they recieved the laptop on 6th may and 7 may they have told the estimate of Rs 33500 as the cpu and mother board are not working. and condition of the laptop is so bad that it doesn't look like a sony laptop .
                                i had sent the laptop from Jorhat assam and spend few thousand rs on just transportation of the laptop. Mr Rajat of the service center told me that they have been interacting with mr Ashish through whom i had sent the laptop.
                                they claimed to have purchased the motherboard from banglore and than they told it can not be fitted in the laptop because it is not supported. when the laptop reached the service center in kirtinagar they told that mother borad is not working.
                                question1 can i take them to the consumer court for harrassment and screwing up my laptop.
                                question 2 will the company repair the laptop free of cost since their auth showroom cum service center has screwed it up nice and proper.
                                question3 who is good advocate for this case and can get me proper compensation for the harrasment and repair of the laptop.
                                question4 how can a motherboard received from bangalore not fit in a laptop when they are model specific?

                                  This is regarding the sony wayo laptop i have purchased from Himayatnagar showroom last year in May. It is still under warranty.It was working fine only for two months after purchase and started dissipating lot of heat and also loud noise continously while working.Last week i have given it for servicing and they said it would be fine now.But i find no change in the problems.Also,battery backup is really hopeless and doesnt long for more than half an hour when fully charged.This seems to be like a laptop used for 5 yrs, but nothing like a new one.Hopeless service from sony.

                                    I purchased home thethre from M/S. PANAVISION TELEVIDEO PVT LTD ON 16/10/2009. from 01/02/2012 system showing error so as per advice from above shop i call one service centre i.e. M/s. Focu Point Electronics. One engineer came and say that require servicing but service given at their service centre and estimated charges given of Rs. 2000/- on 10/02/2012 job no. 10/02/2012 but till date no phone and system return. In service centre one Mr. Jani is there who is incharge so i contact his mobile no. [protected] and [protected]. He replied me that estimated amount increase from 2000 to rs. 6500/- after 3 months. It is way to service given by sony centre.

                                      I am owning VPCEA23EN laptop and i am facing the hard disk problem. It was working fine. All of a sudden the blue screen of death came and after that its not booting at all. I have all my data lost. I m too frustated. Very worst laptop ever had. Who will bare for my loss?I had used Lenovo, HP and found it much better. I got that on June 2010. I have Sony TV, Home theater. Even my car stereo is Sony. I had lot of trust on Sony. But now
                                      I am fooled easily by Sony Corporation.The lifetime of the laptop is just 2 years, and for that i had to pay 42k. It makes me to think about all the other investments in Sony and my future plans to buy Sony Products.

                                      Lenovo/laptop — HARD DISC GOT CRASHED

                                      I had pruchased a lenovo laptop Model 3000 Y410 T5750W41024160PW1b77579RQ, No 59014744 , Serial No EB08950353 ,in August,08 . On 16th JAN,10 i.e within 16 months of purchase - ONE FINE MORNING after working on the laptop for 10 minutes, it failed to take any command and BLACK SCREEN appeared and my laptop got hanged. Called lenovo center and then it was send to Guwahati Lenevo Centre at Ulubari .Today I got back my laptop with replacement charge of Rs 2900/- for harddisc. Alas, I LOST ALL MY PRECIOUS MEMORIES, IMPORTATNT DATAS - I WONDER WITH THE QUALITY OF LENOVO LAPTOP.- IT IS NOT AT ALL RELIABLE.

                                      As a valued cutomer please tell me how I can get back my LOST DATA/ INFORMATION - THE ORIGINAL HARD DISC I COLLECTED BACK FROM YOUR SERVICE CENTRE , GUWAHATI.

                                        I purchased a Sony 32”LCD TV (Model KDL-32CX520) on[protected] for Rs. 28,200/-. The protection glass over the LCD screen developed a crack during transportation. I brought the set to a local Authorized Sony Service Centre (ASC), M/s TECH SHOP on[protected]. After checking the set, the service person let me know that the set will not get warrantee coverage as it was not a Sony India sourced product (though I showed the retail invoice/cash memo). However I requested the ASC people for an estimate for the cost of repairing. The service person obliged with a printed estimate which was a whopping Rs. 10,382/-. This included cost of complete replacement of the LCD Panel (LCD Screen plus Protection glass). But the LCD Screen of my TV was intact and perfectly working and no question of changing that should arise. I wanted to take back the set without servicing. But the ASC released my TV only after receiving Rs 662/- (tax included) as labour charge. Then on[protected], I brought the set to another ASC, M/s C.P. Enterprise. Here also the case was same. The service people would replace the whole LCD panel as Sony Company does not provide the protection glass separately for replacement. Since I suffered for a lot and wanted to end the bitter saga of viewing a cracked TV, I bowed to the demand of the Sony Service Centre and got the TV repaired after paying Rs. 10,513/- (the cost of LCD Panel is Rs. 9,839/- plus labour charge Rs. 674/-).
                                        My points are: 1. Why the first ASC, M/s Tech Shop charged me the labour charge for just giving the estimate? 2. Why Sony makes the consumer pay for parts which he does not need, thus increasing the cost burden many fold? In my case, had Sony replaced the protection glass only, the repairing cost would have been just a fraction of the total bill. Are these not instances of consumer rights violation on the part of Sony India?

We assure you that since you have already paid the service charge, you need to pay the service charge again for rectification of the set for this time. Also, the LCD panel will have 12 months warranty from the date of delivery of the rectified set to you. For any further assistance, please feel free to contact you. Assuring you of our best services & support always.

                                        Dear Sir/Madam,
                                        Thanks for your response. But my concerns are not adressed yet. I was made to pay labour charge on two occassions. First I paid Rs. 662 at M/s Tech Shop, Guwahati-3 where I just collected the estimate on[protected]no servicing was done). Then I paid Rs 674 at M/s C.P. Enterprise when I submitted the tv for repair on[protected] and took the delivery on[protected]. Please check the vouchers thoroughly.

                                        Secondly, yes, there is no protection glass in the lcd tv. Actually there is a a very thin lcd screen which is fitted to the bulky lcd panel assembly. And it is possible to detach and replace the lcd screen from the panel assemly. In my case, since only the lcd screen is cracked, there was no point changing the whole assembly, which was perfectly working. Had only the faulty lcd screen was replaced, the cost of repairing would have been much less. So I understand, as the monopoly player with respect to Sony product servicing, by not supplying what is exactly required for servicing, Sony India has indulged in an activity which is against the interest of the consumer. Instead Sony India is compelling customers to pay for parts which are not required which is not fair.

                                        Hence I request you to take necessary steps to resolve my grievances at the earlist.
                                        The last communication from my side was on 15th May. Then I filed a complaint through Consumerdaddy.com on[protected]Complaint No. 10857). Sony India chosen to ignore this complaint also and as a result, consumerdaddy.com put the status of the complaint to unresolved status and downgraded the consumer satisfaction level by 10%.
                                        You are a non technical person and that is why arguing on this issue. The LCD panel comes as a whole unit and that is a standard practice for all manufacturers because only the thin LCD glass without back-light frame cannot be safely transported and installed. The cost of this LCD glass is about 80% of the total assembly of LCD panel.
                                        I want to know this from Sony India only. Let them give the exact break-up of the cost of the LCD Screen and the Back Light Frame. If orangzeb.uop is to be believed, I was made to pay Rs. 2000 unnecessarily extra by Sony India just for the Back Light Frame, which was meant only for facilitating safe transportation of the fragile LCD Screen! Is this not a glaring example o[censored]nfair and monopolistic trade practices adopted by the TV manufacturers including Sony India in the name of technical reason? Is it a mere coincidence that the member oranzeb joined the forum; the same day written the post favouring the Company and negating the complainant as non technical person? Though being an engineer by profession myself, I believe the point of technical/non technical should not be raised when a consumer raises his/her concern in respect to an injustice meted out to him/her.
                                        With respect to the second issue, i.e. Sony India's Service Centre M/s Tech Shop charged me the full labour charge just for giving the estimate for repair, by not saying a single word in this matter, Sony India simply adding fuel to the rampant corrupt practices in its Service Centres.
                                        I agree with skakati. It seems orangzeb. uop, who is a self styled 'technical' person, is either directly related to Sony India or any other company dealing with TV manufacuring who are cheating the poor consumer by charging for parts not required for the repairing. After getting the information that the back panel cost is 20% of the total LCD Panel cost, it is clear that Sony India had charged around 2K bucks extra from the consumer for the sack of safe transportation of the LCD Screen, which is most unfair. If the company concerned has any different view, they should contradict this with exact data. Further I protest the idea of orangzeb of terming a consumer technical/non technical when he/she raises concern in respect to an injustice meted out to him/her.
                                        Again the act act by Sony India's Service Centre M/s Tech Shop for charging full labour charge for just for giving the estimate for repair is a blatant violation of consumer rights, and a finger of accusation can be raised towards Sony India for not taking any stern action against the service centre, which in other words simply adding fuel to the rampant corrupt practices in Sony Service Centres.
                                        I am grateful to bboruah for the kind words of support to my complaint. But I think, the first comment, which might be a result of typographical mistake on part of bboruah, may create some confusion that it is me only who had written this comment in the name of bboruah. I would like to clarify that, I skakati, is no way responsible for any comment by any member on my complaint against Sony India.
                                        I regret the typographical mistake in my first comment. However I strongly stand by skakati's side as I myself is also a victim of big company's unfair trade practices on many earlier occasions.
                                        From the the words of the 'technical person' oranzeb.uop, who is most likely an industry insider, my conviction that I was made to pay an excess amount which is not less than Rs 2000/- was vindicated.
                                        The first time when I went to M/s Tech Shop, the lead person of the ASC brazenly declared the three guidelines followed by the ASC (Authorised Sony Centre) to me. First, though they would charge the full estimated cost of Rs.10, 382/-, the replaced LCD panel would not be a brand new one, i.e. it would be a repaired piece! Second, the replaced Panel would not carry any warrantee, only one months' labour warranee would be provided. Last but not the least, the ASC would retain the faulty LCD Panel. This amply makes clear the rot in the Sony Service Centre. This way, Sony India collects the intact parts from the customer (the Back Light Panel in my case), refurbish/refit the same and sell it at the price of new!

                                        I received the delivery on 27th Nov 2013, your technical support & installation was supposed to be available on 28th Nov 2013.
                                        My Service Registration ID is 16853810 it is assigned to Telecare; ADC - Pune .
                                        But it is not installed yet, waiting, want to know why so much delay & when it will be installed?

Already logged call to SONY Service Center. Service Engineer has come on 11.01.2015 and examined my TV and observed that PANEL Problem and this will change. The cost may be 14, 000 /-.

                                        Now my question, what is value of my money. So come to know by bad experience, every 2-3 years TV will be damage.
