set top box needs to be paired

I came back from work today and when i switched it on, I am getting a blank screen with this message - 'The set top box needs to be paired. Contact the customer care if the problem persists.' I was on call with the customer care for 50 minutes without any response.

Tata Sky - Resolve this issue at the earliest...

My name is bobiraj t (Grandson of late. Vishwnath) and my tata sky id no.[protected] (Tata sky id registered name late. Vishwanath)

I have a complane that i have lost my grandfather and also we don't know his registered mobile number. He given his old number for registration, after aadhar card link to mobile number he has to changed his number. So now we are not able to recharge proper pack and cannot change required channels.

In future my process in your company with my new mobile no.[protected]. And in future you contract me my new no. ([protected]).

So please you update my new mobile no.in your system.

    Hello team,
    As per offer from tata sky. Get rs 2000 coupons for new registration i have registered my account on 31st march 2019 at mytatasky website. But due to network connectivity i have not received option to select 2000 rs. Coupons.
    I tried to login after some time but same issue happen.

    Kindly help me to get 2000 rs. Coupons. I have raised this issue on 1st april as well but i did not the response yet because of that i am raising the complaint again

      I m a tata sky user. I ve subscribed channels such as star bharat and some kids channel but they are not showing since 10 or more days.
      I tried calling customer care but executives were busy since like half an hour.
      After that i even tried removing and readding pack but that was in vain. Now i am pretty annoyed at this service quality.
      I don't even know what to do.
      Pls try to solve my problem
      Otherwise i think i can only switch service providers

        From past three days I m struggling to connect with any executive to understand the packs and how to recharge Tata Sky but no one is bothered to. I feel Tata Sky is not concerned about their loyal customers.The website is poorly designed. You are not able to subscribe properly. Kindly look into this matter.

          I had got connection on[protected] with promise of free installation and one month subscription in Rs1600.00. But now they had deactivated my connection and not resolving issue despite several calls and emails. I also recieved message for recharge of Rs1420.00 instead of Rs.1600.00.Kindly look into the matter ID [protected].

            Ref my complaint no. 1edwabsi so far no action has taken place. It appears customer interest is of no importance to tatasky. Despite repeated calls and ack no action seems to be in hand. The set up box and digicard number has been provided and still activation is not done since yesterday. If tatasky cannot do it let me know so that i can change my dth provider. Wasting customer time without concrete result shows poor services. Please let me know my present status or by evening i switch over to a better provider

              Thay offer me end of January yearly recharge & I am reaching that 2670rs . Now they Close my all channel they activite on my setup box. Now they ignore my phone call & not give me satisfactory answers.Their complaint help line not receive call they wait us 10 to 15min only for talk with customer care. Once we get follow up about our complaints they directly disconnect phone call.

                I have paid Tata Sky's annual package whose renewal date is October 2019. Now they have migrated my Yearly plan to Monthly plan and discontinued my current plan which I have paid for. New Plan is twice costly then my current plan.

                I called to customer care but they are not give proper response (Satisfactory Answer).

                Customer care are blame to TRAI. Is new policy/rule is benefit to customer or service provider.

                Please take appropriate action against TATA Sky and give proper response to us. Request to provide us to continue with our old yearly plan.

You will be migrated to a new monthly plan with your balance being adjusted. You can choose your channels & packs that best-fits your viewing requirements on www.mytatasky.com. Let us assure you the same regulation is applicable for all DTH and Cable operators.

                  This is very unfortunate that my existing pack which was offered to me by tat sky with a promise of no change in the pack until or unless i change it. But now it is changed without my request.
                  As my existing pack sports supreme kids pack was closed a way back may be 6 years or more but it was still active for me. I am really very sorry to say that tata sky not kept its promise and disappoint me.

                      Tata sky is not fulfilling its contractual obligation for the money i paid for annual contract in june 18. I was promised few channels without any price increase for full one year at a lumsum price i paid.in last oct 18 it stopped sony channel and for last few months it has stooped sony, color and zee packages. It is not even ready to provide me extension for the months these channels have been taken off the air for me

                        I had raised a complaint regarding my dish
                        I had called several times in a couple of days.
                        The technician is just fooling around to us that i am coming in 10 mins 15 mins half n hour or by evening but he is not visiting from more than 4 days i had registered my complaint for 3 times but still the call centre persons are saying that wait for 2 hours whenever i call them but no response from there side
                        I am mentioning the contact no. Of the technician & the service provider near my home. My work is like that the technician wants to change the direction of the dish for which the connection problem is there but he is not ready to come over at our place and just giving the time again & again for this small things

                          Sir,
                          I have the honor to state that i have done my tata sky id no. [protected] recharge of amount rs. 1550/- for dhamaka pack on 06 jan 19 for the period of 1 year valid up to 05 jan 20. But on 03 apr 19 my all channel which are in dhamaka pack excluding free to air channel stopped by tata sky stated that you have to choose again all channels in new prices. When i have availed dhamaka package annual scheme with advance charges paid for future lock-in it shall be continue for such committed period without any increase in price and without altering the other terms of subscription. When i contact to tata sky customer care they refuse to do so. Sir please help me to continue to my annual package plan for which i paid in advance.

                            Four days ago i. E. 31 march about 7 o" clock star sports stopped. I checked with other channels and found some were disconnected namely star gold, star select, zee cinma, &pictures (Channels 455, 457, 460, 463, 321, 333, 347, 314, 310, 1508 ktv) were disconnected. These channels i regularly watch, so other channels could have been disconnected i did not bother to check. All the channels are part of the pack and my subscription is valid till 26 april.
                            Another issue is that on 31 march i online recharged and i would need the receipt for auditing.
                            I would be deeply grateful if you could restart these channels and why you disconnected them.

                              Even though trai has clearly stated that “in case, the broadcasting services related to television have been availed by a subscriber with a lock-in period or the charges for subscription of broadcasting services related to television are paid in advance for a specific period by a subscriber in pursuance of any scheme offered by the distributor of television channels, the distributor shall continue to provide such services for such period to the subscriber without any increase in the price of subscription and without altering the other terms of subscription to the disadvantage of the subscriber.”

                              But tatasky has violated this rule and suddenly stopped all the channels to us. When i contacted tatasky customer care, they said that older packages are no longer available and you need to subscribe to new packages.

                              I request you to take appropriate action on dth operator and ask them to continue the old packages.

                              Hi, as per TRAI direction, following the new Tariff order, service providers will migrate their customers to the best fit plan carrying their key current channels. This process is being done in a phased manner every day to migrate the millions of customers by the 31st March. Each customer has the option of changing their channels and packs at any point in time, before or after the migration. For this, please download the Tata Sky App or visit www.mytatasky.com and go to Manage Pack, or visit your nearest dealer.

                                My Tata sky SD set top box is working since yesterday but today onwards it started showing pairing error and I removed insert the card but still it is showing pairing error
                                So I switched off and and restarted my Tata sky SD set top box but then it showed no signal

                                  Dear Sir
                                  I would like to inform you that Tata Sky is wrongly using its services to make money.
                                  I have done a recharge of Rs: 449/ Month pack on 17th March 2019, which was shown in their TataSky application.Today its 3rd April 2019 and my services has been deactivated.
                                  When called customer care, they are unable to solve my query, and they are forcing me to recharge for 785/ month, which I cannot afford.
                                  When I asked them how can you deactivate before 17th April, they are giving baseless answers that "your service has been deactivated and you must recharge for 785 only, as your plan is for 785/month",

                                  I have not given them any approval, nor I have confirmed them, without my confirmation they have migrated to 785/month and forcing me to recharge If I want to continue my services.

                                  My question is with whose permission they selected 785/month plan, and how can it be 1 month from 17th March 2019 to 3rd April 2019.

                                  I have requested them to refund my amount of remaining 12 / 13 days or activate my plan till 17th April 2019.

                                  But they are not responding and they have added my number in block list.

                                  This is a worst service, and cheating business, saying 1 month and providing 15 days service, I am surely going to say TATA to TATASKY services.

                                  I kindly request you to solve this query and refund my amount or activate my services for remaining 12 or 13 days.

                                    I have raised relocation requests multiple times for the past 3 to 4 days. Every-time i raise a request, it gets cancelled for no reasons and i don't get an update that it was cancelled. I have to followup later to check what happened and then i come to know that it was cancelled and i need to raise another request putting all the details again and again. This is like an harassment. I asked the customer care to escalate to next level and they put my in queue for 45 minutes and no body comes back online to talk. I will have to cut the call and call back. I have nowhere to go. Can somebody hear me...

                                      I have been using tata sky since ages and was very satisfied with thier services and professionalism.

                                      But i never expect that organisation like tata sky can do this to me. My issue is :

                                      I have subscribed to “zee prime english hd” pack which was costing me 41 rs per month including taxes. Now zee has revised this pack rate from 35 rs to 25 rs. While watching channels of this pack i came to know about this change.

                                      Now when i ask tata sky nodal officer about this. Their reaction is very unsupportive. He replied to me “we do not have any information about this”. I asked him to confirm it but no reaction.

                                      My request/complaint was closed with out even doing any action on it. I am paying extra 10 rs per month (41 rs) for that pack which has lower cost 31rs. Where to go. No body was there to listen customer.

                                      I do not excpect such unprofessional behaviour from tata sky.

                                      Hi, as per TRAI guidelines a broadcaster is supposed to inform about upcoming revisions in their packs/channels on their website 30 days prior to launching them on a distributor’s platform. We are in discussions with the broadcaster to incorporate their revised packs/channels on our platform and we will update the same on our website soon.

                                      Hi, Thanks for putting this request forward. Since it has been a week, I should expect some response on my complaint. Whatever is the process between TATA sky and broadcaster, customer should not have impact on price.

                                      One thing is quite straight on which we had agreement that Zee network has already updated the package rates so update your rates too so that I can add this package to my pack. I DONOT WANT TO PAY extra to TATA sky if broadcaster is costing less for that package. I hope my point is very clear here.

                                      Kindly take action as soon as possible.

                                      Six days I have been calling up everyday to Tata sky to shift my connection but issue still not resolved. Every day I speak to their agent each agent has a different thing to say and a different timeline.

                                      Official closed complain without solving it, we have to take daily followups, setup box is not available we are fed up with the services of tata sky..in today's comptetive world tatasky is not ready to resolve complain and retain us..extremely fed up..harrastment..
