My father is 86 years old, and hence i being his only son, am raising this complaint. My father shifted his residence, and initially decided to take a new tata sky connection rather than transferring his old one, and i called up on his behalf for the same. A new customer id was generated ([protected]). However, before this was installed, he decided to shift his old connection ([protected]). However, the new id remained generated with the status pending. He the asked me to recharge his old account for the entire years subscription. When i was doing so through my credit card, by oversight, i paid in the new pending id, instead of the old transferred id (Rs.6940 paid). This happened on 23/10/2017. I immediately raised my request for a refund, since i was told that transfer of this amount to the old subscriber id was not possible.in the meanwhile, i recharged the old account for rs.7030/-. Initially, i was given a request number 10qr07gy. I recieved a call from chennai saying that the refund has been affected. However, when i checked, there was no credit. I waited for almost 8 to 10 days, and called again. This time i was given the request number as 1105es6p. I was told that by 5th nov, the amount will be credited back. Again nothing happened. I called again on 10th nov'17, and was given another request number 117j35nf. I was told that since some other department looks after refund, it will happen in next 10 banking days. I demanded that since my credit card payment was due, i should get my refund before that. I was told they will try. I called again today since my credit card payment is due on 15th nov. To my surprise, i found the executive, whose name was ratan, extremely rude and arrogant. Anyways, he provided me with another request number, saying that it will be done. However, when i asked him about my earlier complaints, he said he does not know anything about it, and that i should not waste my time, by constantly asking about them. My new request number given is 11atomk0. I am really stressed out and frustrated by the way, tata sky has treated me and responded to my complaint. Will someone at least now do something and resolve my complaint?
