I paid annual subscription of 5160 in mid july. After 3 months, they asked me to move to tatasky which i did. I also got just rs1000 balance transferred. My reliance id is[protected].

Tatasky representative priyanka from the backend team was rude and simply closed my complaint. This seems to be a big racket by tatsky

There will be many more like this and we need to file a police complaint against tatsky/reliance

    I tried to login after some time but same issue happen.

      I am a tata sky customer with subscription id[protected]. Previously i was a customer of reliance big tv with subscription id[protected]. I had an annual subscription of reliance big tv which was ending on 26 october 2017. Hence to continue with the subscription, i paid an amount of rs. 4200.00 on 18 october 2017 to reliance big tv. After that i also got the message from reliance big tv that my account balance is rs.4353.00 on 18 october 2017. But suddenly after that, a message was being flashed on tv screen by reliance big tv that the company licence is being expired and they are closing the transmission soon. The message also flashed that, the existing reliance big tv customer will get a free connection from tata sky and all the balance with reliance big tv will be transferred to tata sky account. For that i have to give a missed call on [protected]. So i did that. Then i was contacted by tata sky many times and finally i got the connection from them on 8 november 2017. I paid rs. 399 as a monthly subscription with assurance that my account balance from reliance big tv will be transferred to tata sky within 7 working days. After 10 days i followed up for that and then shocked to know that i got a transfer of rs. 1000.00 only from reliance big tv from a balance of rs.4353.00. Then i called tata sky customer care and registered a complaint. I got a final call from them on wednesday 22 november 2017 at 2.17 pm. The issue was discussed. The tata sky customer care representative told me to contact reliance big tv regarding the issue saying that they have to accept whatever the amount the reliance big tv has transferred. I argued that if it is so, return my reliance big tv set top box and reset my previous connection with previous balance. But she replied me rudely that, i cannot get the previous set top box and if i want i can cancel my tata sky connection. I told her that if it is so please give this me in writing. She asked my email address and assured that she will send me email stating that i cannot get my previous reliance big tv connection back with previous balance. Still i did not receive it. Hence i am sending an email which is a written documentation to tata sky. Clearly it is not my responsibility to contact reliance big tv because it is a business deal between tata sky and reliance big tv. Also reliance big tv call centres are closed for any communication. So this looks a fraud business deal between tata sky and reliance big tv who combinely are cheating the customers for a huge amount which is shameful. I want to know how to take the further action to stop this cheating.
      I have also saved the message from reliance big tv showing my account balance on 18 october 2017 in my mobile.

        My tata sky is not working since 3 month.. I m followup for mechanic visit and the he came and said that ur set top box is not working change set top box then he changed remote also and take total charge 1225/-. But still i m getting no signal error. When calling to customer care they not response at all i m only getting message from 4 days that technician will visit today tomorrow when i m calling regarding visit the are saying that your mechanic found that building is under construction how it is possible.. Even the mechanic or customer care not informing about this i m tata sky customer last 15 yrs now they are providing the proper service. Really a very bad experience.

          Hello sir/ma'am,
          My name is sagar goyal and i have been your customer for a good number of years. I currently have the tata sky hd+ box and have had an annual platinum hd subscription.
          My customer id is [protected].

          I had recently complained to the tata sky customer care about the programs not being recorded fully. Your technician had come home and had done the basic troubleshooting like changing the buffer time before and after the program start and end time; thereafter informing very conveniently that the box has to be changed. Later on the problem was still there and i was informed that the l&b box on the dish antenna had been changed. The issue was still continuing. So the box was changed finally.

          Soon after i faced the same issue on the replaced set top box and when i contacted the customer care, the technician came and upgraded the software. This was not done initially and this was the ideal troubleshooting that had to be done initially which was not done.

          Recently when your technician came home about 4 days ago, he informed that the l&b box was not replaced and it was an old one. So now i'm being asked to pay for the replacement box which was not the resolution to this as the issue cropped up even after the box replacement. So i had spoken to the customer care to either give me back my old set top box or wave off the box replacement charges, neither of it was done. So i am feeling that i have been fooled and i am approaching your kind self for a resolution to this. I have been a loyal customer with tata sky for ages though there are equally good or even better service providers in the market today. It's mainly due to the brand image tata sky has. But now i am not having any faith and trust in tata sky after the service i have been offered. So i request you to kindly help me with this as if this is not looked into i will have to approach the consumer forum and also your complaint forum.

            Based on the communication from tata sky representative to make a subscription for one year ultra pack & hd i have made payment through my tata sky mobile app the sum of rs.7525. The payment was made through upi mode. The request came to my upi app with vpa named "[protected]@icici" requesting the amount provided in the app. I have approved the collect request and the payment was successful - dated nov 16, 2017. After the transaction, till date i have not seen my tata sky account reflecting the amount recharged. When the same was inquired with their representative, he said the transaction was not successful and hence the said amount if it was debited will be refunded. As per npci, any failed transaction to be refunded back to customer within 24 hrs. Hence, i raised a ticket with my upi psp for the status regarding the transaction (Psp:phone pe). The request was analyzed by the psp with ref from npci and confirmed the amount has been successfully credited to the requested bank.

            Based on our last telephonic conversation you confirmed that the transaction will be reversed to my bank within 10 working days from the date of transaction. Its been quite sometime now, please do the needful.
            Work not done properly inspire of many calls not attending and always charging every now n then . Inspire of changing spending so much of money work was not done and I am not able see all the channels. Also call center is also playing the fool along with Chennai office in this I will withdraw I 2tv and paying so much a year. Very very disgusting.

            My recharge of 319 ra was successful but did not reflect in tata sky app. Now I contacted both costumer care and both are trying to get rid of. Both are saying to talk to other customer care.

              The day before yesterday one lady staff of your company called me stating that you have an offer free of cost for first five days but i was not interested on it and told her not to add any channel on my pack because it leads to money deduction at last. This is the way of money hacking of your company. After few hours i got a sms that a channel has been activated and money deducted. This seems to be a practice of money extortion of your company as it happened quite a few times with me. I request you to send back the money deducted from my account and cancel the channel.

                I have tried to recharge Tata Sky DTH with an amount of 205, the same was debited from my credit card but the the transaction failed stating invalid mobile no. Please refund my money.
                I have read on a forum about many such complaints. It will be down your websites reputation. Please take appropriate action.

                  My id is [protected]. At first my plan was 299 and after 2 months o[censored]sing the same it automatically showing that my current plan is 599. That's a complete gameplay by the company to gain more profit from the poor subscribers which i don't like it. And if the concerned company don't make the things right we too know how to ruin their business.
                  I request the company to rectify my problem within 24 hours. I am really disappointed!

                    Problem:- irregularities in signal is occurring in tv. While watching tv the signal goes off for long duration of time and this is happening since one month.
                    I have complaint against this many times to both local service provider of tata sky and it's customer service representative as well but both of them have negligence towards the this issue and are not handling seriously.
                    Kindly consider the issue and take crucial action.

                      The service person who came to provide service from tata sky was extremely rude and asked for money at every step of the process (Relocation of the tata sky box is what we were getting done). The guy who came told us incorrect charges about every process that we were getting done. He was forcing us to cancel the previous work order raised and raise another one so that he could make some money in the process because he would’ve been questioned why he didn’t close the first work order. He gave me false quotation of the cable used and also told me that the dish reception is weak and i need to pay extra to add a part and make it better which was ridiculous. Above all of this, without confirming that the complaint is closed, he just vanished without even telling us.

                          Recently, reliance big tv displayed us to contact tata sky as they are closing down in nov. 2017. Before that, i credited rs.2000 for south pack to reliance bigtv. Every year, i do this from 2008 on wards. Then tata sky staff came and fixed their stb in our home and asked us to pay some amount to activate. We paid for a month and asked tata sky to transfer that bigtv amount to my tata sky subscriber id. Tata sky staff calls and then assures that it will be transferred soon. On 5th nov. Tata sky dth has been activated in my home. I sent an email to tata sky to transfer the fund.

                          Now nothing has happened so far.

                            I had recharged tatasky account (Subscriber id : [protected]) on 26th oct 2017 of amount 1000rs through mytatasky.com. That transaction was unsuccessful. But amount got debited from my account. Bill desk was payment gateway. I contacted them, transaction was successful from there end as well. Then i contacted tata sky but they are saying that they are not able to see any recharge in there system so can't revert it back. I call customer care almost every day. They just create new request and nothing happens after that. Even i have contacted nodalofficer as well but i haven't received amount yet. Tata sky can call bill desk and tell them that they haven't received amount for given transaction id. But no. They just want to harass you. Never use tata sky. Worst customer care i have ever seen.

                              Dear team,

                              Through this email i would like to compliment you on the extra ordinary customer support and service that you provide. It is simply out of this world. Kudos on that.

                              It is my pleasure to tell you that after 11 years (Almost) of relationship with tatasky i have decided to move to another service provider.in simple words, i cannot manage the extra ordinary customer service you provide because i am an ordinary person.

                              I raised a request on 3rd november specifically asking for a technician’s visit on 5th november 2017 (Sunday). That was my fault, i forgot that your technicians are the people on pedestal and will come as per their convenience and hence i need to keep my calendar free to ensure that they can come as per their desire. Was my fault and hence i shall be suffered, he didn’t visit on sunday. I took a leave from office on tuesday so he can visit and check the issue. By the way i hope you guys understand that we must work to pay the subscription charges, we cannot be jobless and sit @ home to wait for your technicians, because if we do then we will not be able to pay subscription charges and i am sure tatasky is not so charitable that they will allow us to watch channels for free.

                              Anyway, so on tuesday (7th november 2017) the technician came and was not able to sort the problem. He left saying that he will send the person who visited last time by tomorrow as he will know better about this problem. 8th november no one called or visited. By the way i took another leave, amazing, isn’t it, i must take a leave from my job to ensure your technician can do his job. Anyway, so on 8th november i call the technician visited on 7th and he said that i need to call his office to check as he already informed his office about this. I tried to call the number he gave be but got no response. Either the call was on waiting or it kept ringing. So, i decided to call customer service and they informed me that the request was canceled by technician as he was not able to connect with the client (Me). Haunting, isn’t it, i am not sure who i was talking to on tuesday and wednesday as the technician was not able to connect with me. I had no other option but to raise another request, and being pissed off i wrote on twitter too. Thursday 9th november 2017, i got a call from your technician that he is coming to my place @ 11 am, i told him i am in office and will not be back before 6:30, he confirmed he will come after that. I reached home and called him, he said he is busy on another call and will come tomorrow (Friday 10th november). Came friday, i was waiting for him but instead @ 7:30 pm (Approximately) i got a call from someone from tatasky mentioning that the person allocated to my request was not calling me and the person calling me will not attend my issue, this is because my area is supported by to divisions (I guess). Somehow, that is also my problem, i didn’t check with tatasky where shall i live to get better and prompt service. My fault and hence i shall suffer.

                              Well this amazing and out of this world service is not deserved by me, i am just a common man. Hence i called customer care and ask to cancel the connection and refund the money that i paid for services i’ll not be using anymore (I have already paid for annual subscription for my primary and secondary connections and have approximately rs 2000 balance in my account). The best in class customer service people accepted my cancelation request. Saturday 11th november 2017, i received a call from another technician saying that he is coming to my place, though i was very clear to the guy who called on friday late evening that i’ll be travelling. Not sure why i got the call though i decided to terminate the relationship with tatasky and requested the same. At around 1 pm i received another call from tatasky backend team (That’s what he said) saying that he is calling to confirm that i still want to cancel the connection even though the issue was rectified (This is haunting again, i was not @ home nobody visited me still issue was solved, how you guys do it, you must teach telepathic technical issue resolution to other organizations too) and i told him i am not @ home, nobody visited me till friday and hence issue cant be sorted. But he insisted that because the technician as mentioned it in the ticket and hence it is sorted (Didn’t realize that tatasky technicians drink potion of truth every morning and hence all client are liar). I told him that i still do not want to continue with the service and hence please process the cancelation request and refund me my money. He told me that he has processed the request and for refund i’ll get a call by 13th november 2017. On 13th november 2017 (Today) i got a call from another confirmation team to ensure that i do not want technical visit, they wanted to confirm this because your technician spoke to me and i told him so (Again a haunting incident as my phone was switched off till 1 pm as i was in meetings but still he could speak to me from a switched off phone).

                              I spoke to your customer care again today to check the status of my refund as i didn’t receive any call for the concerned team and i was told that i’ll receive the call and the closure date for the same is 1st december (20 days to get a call from concerned team for my refund, that must be a world record, how you guys do it. Seriously share your best practices).

                              Thru this email i would like to request you following things –

                              1. Ensure that i do not receive any more calls from tatasky except from the team concerned with the refund

                              2. I would appreciate if my refund is calculated from 10th of november as that’s the day i requested cancelation of services

                              3. With so much of haunting and paranormal experience i had with your technician (S) in last one week i would request to check if there is any ghost or et among them

                              4. Stop treating old customers as fools

                              5. Stop spoiling tata brand name, we, as indian, are proud of tata brand name but the experiences i had with tatasky in last one week is defiantly not tata experience

                              6. Try to understand the issues and solve them rather than canceling subscription of irate customer just because he is asking for it. Your industry works on word of mouth and i hope you all understand the principal of the same

                              Please note that i might not be correct about exact time but proofs of conversation can be proved if requested.

                              My sympathies are with you Mr Abhisek. I have had a similar experience with Airtel DTH. I have surrendered the balance in my account to Airtel, towards betterment of their customer care. I came across your outburst after deciding to migrate to Tata Sky. After reading your post though, I am seriously am contemplating giving up on DTH services altogether. However, on after thought, it would benefit commoners like us to know if you have any inputs on which DTH service provider can one switch to in these uncommon times.

                                I am a customer of tata sky having subscriber id - [protected]
                                My connection was migrated from reliance digital tv to tata sky services on 03rd nov 2017. And according to tata sky policy my reliance digital tv amount should be credited to my present tata sky account within 7 days.
                                Its 15th day as of now and my reliance digital tv amount has still not been credited to my tata sky account. Three times i am complaint to tata sky customer service. They told two days time to resolve but still the amount not credited.
                                Kindly give me solution.

                                  Tatasky used to hike their pack charges very frequently, this time they have done it without any intimation, reason they gave to raise the price is that added new channel, but dear tata sky, i'm not interested in you new channels, you cannot force your price on us, in the name o[censored]pgradation or addition of new channel. If its in year, thatks ok, but they change it very frequently. I think it was previously 285 for dhamal mix pack, now it is 299.

                                    I love tata sky as a company, which work with concept of having every employee as his boss. Unfortunately their employees took it granted and now behaving like, they are best and do not require any more customers.

                                    I raised request for relocation, customer representative told me to pay 300 rs. Now their technician called me and said, sir i will only take care of connecting tv port to box, for wire routing you need to pay 300 rs extra as we dont do that work and will require technician.

                                    Now question here is why should i pay that amount, i am paying extra wire charges and 300 rs installation charges. Is it not enough?

                                    Anyway i understand you will be having many complaints like this and its not going to affect you much but i can save myself from such company who disrespect customers. Your technicians attitude is really bad and your customer representative dont know anything other than keep us on wait.

                                      Asked for details as to how U have adjusted
