My customer is [protected] and I have registered four complaints in past 2 months regarding connectivity problem.

1) 1-[protected] - Technical support team said problem with device on roof and our field team will visit within 48 hours to solve the problem. NOONE from Tikona visited the place (I waited more than a week) and Complaint was closed without solving the problem.

2) 1-[protected] - Technical support team said problem with device on roof and our field team will visit within 48 hours to solve the problem. Tikona engineer visited the place (after a week) and after two hours he left the same problem came back.

3) 1-[protected]- - Technical support team said problem with device on roof and our field team will visit within 48 hours to solve the problem. NOONE from Tikona visited the place (I waited more than two weeks) and Complaint was closed without solving the problem.

4) 1-[protected]- Technical support team said problem with device on roof and our field team will visit within 48 hours to solve the problem. Talking with the supervisor of customer care and said within 6 hours his engineer will come to solve the problem. NOONE from Tikona visited the place (I waited more than three weeks) and Complaint was closed without solving the problem.

I’m having a data based plan. Tikona’s session history tool was never up and that was also not accessible to customer care also. They use to say that an outward call will be generated to tell me about the usage, which i never received back.

    Dear Readers,

    Myself KUMARAGURUPARAN having the using the connection for the last 7 months in Shollinganallur - Chennai, Tamilnadu.

    Due to internal hard disk crash, I had stopped using the Tikona Internet Services. In this meantime eventhough I have not used it for a long period of time I have paid the last bill that has got generated. After that I have received a surprise call from Tikona about my usage during the conversation I asked them keep my account SAFE Custody until I again ask for it and I told them clearly I am ready to pay the charges for keeping it the SAFE Custody by the time I activate back. But in this period they just keep calculating the bills and last couple of months I did not receive any bills and now couple of days back I got the alert from Tikona that bill has been generated for Rs: 1829. On the next day my brother has received a call from Tikona legal team from the Mobile No: [protected] (Delhi High Court). He demanded my brother to pay Rs: 2200 immediately before 12 on the last saturday otherwise they will file a case against me demanding for Rs: 1,65,000/-. My brother has got wired and feard of his words. Immediately without checking with me he paid the amount. But actually speaking we paid for the services that are not utilised at all till now. Billing team did not mind about whether the Service is used or it is kept in Safe Custody nothing...They just billed, lawyer called and feard my brother for paying the money....Finally we lost the money for the service not at all utilised. Even I have the track until when I actually used the account. In another way they have suspended my account for a last couple of months because of bill not being paid. But this billing team they charged for all the months that the account has suspended also.

    We clearly told the Tikona Legal team to terminate my Account and we won't pay even a single rupess in future if it's not terminated. But I can able to see again they activated my account which is suspending for a long couple of months. Again they planned to generate a bill for this month....:)

    Moreover talking about the services, customer care and everything is extremely poor. By the way they had given me the demo I planned to take it. But after that it's really dead slow. Even you can browse in a normal mobile phone faster than Tikona. So Please beware of choosing Tikona and makesure you are receiving the correct bill.

    No one in the Customer care they speak fluent english instead they are all well versed in talking in Hindi. If only you ask them to speak in English they will speak but even if they speak also it is hard to understand.


    PLEASE BE AWARE OF TIKONA Internet Services and it's legal team.

      Hi sir,
      I have taken the connection of Tikona Broadband in Pune. The provide me the connection by telling lies whose name was asraf which was later solved.
      After that every month I am complaining about 10 to 15 times about the slow net although I have taken 2mpbs speed. Sometime they resolved or they didn't .
      From Friday night we didn't have the net in our room so I put a complain and they told me that we have assign a engg who will go to your room and resolve in 24 hrs but no one came till Saturday night. Again I put a complain they told the same thing 24 hrs but no one came till sunday night. Again i put complain on sunday they told more 24 hrs but monday night is over no one fron Tikona has came nor our problem is solved. Till today also there is no net i my room but per month I am paying them 930 rupees/months out of which only 15 days we have net in our room.
      So, i wan to say that they are not providing the right services to the customer after archiving their target.

        Actually when they approach the customers and say the connection is a prepaid and collection money for 1500 for connection and for first month charges but after some time when u want to remove the connection then they say it is post paid, and they collect the money for one month extra and also they collection unnecessary charges like late payment charges, penalties and many more. and to disconnect they will take for 60 days and for this period we have to pay to them i[censored] dint pay they will call u saying a lawyer and force you and black mail u by legal notice, but there people only call u like that, and we don't have time and money to meet them in court, so we will pay and close the issue, this type of issue is happend to me, and they black mailing me for the payment, so i did, so please don't go for this type of tikona Internet services.

          I was using other internet operator till July, when your executive came with a superb offer of Rs. 3300/ for 20 months. I thought to go for it, But many of my friends warned me of the consequences which they faced but i resisted and now am become a prey to you fools.

          An executive named Vinay Came to my office on 30th July. He showed me the Demo and filled the application form (No: [protected]) and took the cheque of Rs. 3300/- from me the very next day. he promised me that the installation would be done in next 3-5 days. the amount was debited from my account on 6th of August. But still no were no executives for installation.

          I called the customer care several times but all in vain, every time i was assured that the installation would be done in next 24 hrs, Even the floor manager (or whosoever) Ms. Sunita assured the same to me.

          At last on 12th August the installation person named Bipin contact No [protected] was at my office. When he went to terrace to his surprise there was no device. when i called the CC once again i was assured by Sunita that the installation would be done in next 24hrs. But there was no such thing. I called bipin and opted for a refund, On sixteenth of July i had a call from refund department stating that the refund is in process and would receive the refund cheque in next 15 Days.

          To know the refund procedure today i called and inquired, to my utter surprise i was told that the refund would be given in next 15 Days. Now after 12 days they are saying that you will receive the refund in next 15 days,

          Kindly look into the matter and give justice.

          TIKONA is a looting company which take our money and do their rolling.

            Hi,

            This is kundan.I have taken tikona broadband on 24 july 2012 my user id is [protected]. within few days After installation i am facing freequent dissconnection of internet and its not working at all.once a technical person came when i called them more than 10 times and it taken 15 days to that person to come.He plugged and unplugged the wire and somehow managed to connect the network.but after he went within two days the internet connection is not working again.
            now i am fade up with this subcriber and looking to dissconnect it.but dont know how much time they will take to dissconnect.

            My humble request to all the person reading this post must not take tikona connection.
            It is a pathetic subscriber and wont give you service at all.Data card with 2g connection is much better compared to it.since you can connect all the time with the data card.
            So dont ever go for this pathetic service.

              TIKONA ID: [protected] not working from last 1 week. Calling the customer care says to wait for 1 more day to get it resolved. But no action taken yet. Want to file a strict complaing against the firm as much CHARITY has been already given to them from last 1 week or I should say from last 1 yesr since I am using the service as the Internet don't work atleast for 2 days in a week. Customer care is not able to resovle the case and whenever I say to terminate the connection they just delay it by saying to give one more day to get it resolved. Some reference no. can be given: 1-[protected], 1-[protected]. I need the case for refunding atleast Rs.10,000 against harassing the customer.
              Need urgent attention !!!

                In response to my previous complaint:

                I got a few calls from Tikona 'Service' to help me in resolving the issue, which I really appreciate.

                However, I would suggest the company to re-think about your on-site technicians. First of all they don't have the knowledge about the technical stuff, second they don't even care about the brand name (if there is any) about the company.

                Let me reiterate the incident that just happened a few minutes ago. I received a call from your executive (Roshan - [protected]) and asked me about the issue. I explained the issue and told him to wait for 10 minutes to see if someone is there back at home, who can receive the technician and help him in resolving the issue.

                So, I called him after 10 minutes to visit my home. His response, "Sir, Aaj nai ho payega. Main ghar pe hu and mera abb mann nai hai aane ka (Sir, it would not be possible today. I'm at home and I don't feel like working).

                Seriously, What the F?

                With representative like these, Tikona can never build its customer base. No doubt, customers do enroll for Tikona service, but the company is not able to retain the customers.

                It's time to think and work on some turnarounds.

                  I am an existing customer([protected]) of Tikona broadband service.

                  See How they treat their customers:
                  For last 20 days the problem i am facing:

                  1. Every day I think every half an hour net is getting automatically disconnected.
                  2. After 6 pm i can hardly work on internet because of speed. and the speed sometime 80 kbps Though I am paying 1200/- every month.
                  3. I complained many times but only i received one nice complain number and "The problem will be resolved in 24 hours.Our technicians are working"
                  4. The worst part is Last Sunday there was no internet connection for more than 24 hours.
                  5. I even sent mail to Mr. Nair and customer care but no one ever took any action. I am still in the same position as it was and every day they are adding some more problem and telling their technicians are working. God knows what the work means for them???

                  My question to Mr. Nair what does works mean for Him and also will he pay me back for these 20 days??

                    I have got the connection (user ID [protected]) in MID june from gurgaon under scheme of 20gb for 20 months @ 4 mbps speed by paying rs 3,300 in advance. Now after 2 months, my internet has been blocked stating that I have consumed 19gb in 2 months which is not even believable at all. After repeatedly request at customer care, I have been provided with the usage summary from 12th june till 30 aug 2012.

                    The provided data was totally false as it shows using the bandwidth in the morning on weekday but no one remains at our home from 07:30 am till 2:45 pm then how can the data can be used. This can be proved with the attendance chart from my kid's school and my office's attendance chart. Moreover, there session history shows one mac address consuming the data though we have 2 loptops and 2 android mobile phone which we usually connect with the wi-fi connection then how come it shows only on mac address it rather should show 4 mac addresses. It is simply means they have generated false data to cheat the people.

                    I have been asking them to clarify my queries or refund me with my money but no response from their end yet.

                    I need to take connection from tikona so i called a sales executive of tikona and he came the next day gave all connection a i gave a cheque amount of rs. 1217 and they didnt give any receipt for such payment and they said i will get connection by the next day morning but it also didnt happened i called them again and again but after 2 days i got the connection that too a worst connection which i have never seen befr, the net connection was so slow for the next two days and from the next day i didnt get any connection at all i was been calling customer care but they said there is no problem from our side ... daily i used to call them to send someone for checking the connection but none came after one month i really got irritated and called to the higher official after that a person came and they resolved the problem for one month i paid for waste and there is no good response for customer and they don't respect customers...

                      sir,
                      I hv changed my residential location and want to disconnet the tikona broadband.

                      I hv requesyed them so many times, but rather than disconnection they send the bill of the next month.

                      the laughing point is that, I hv opened the setup and not using the net from last month.

                        I registered a compliant at 3PM on 26th August regarding the network issue (my 6th call since I availed Tikona's service about 2 weeks back, youone can figure out what kind of network service I would have been getting that provoked me to make 6 calls). Over the last call, the representative registered my compliant and assured the problem would be resolved in 24 hours; however, the issue has not been resolved yet. Each time I ask the executive to pass on my call to their supervisor, I get only one answer - "Our supervisors are busy right now but they would definitely call you back." The call which I never got from any of the supervisor. The last supervisor I was scheduled to speak with was Mr. Santosh Gupta (I don't know if the name provided by executive was right or wrong)
                        I also have observed that Tikona’s network becomes unavailable during holidays/sundays and when it rains (the customer care executive confirmed for the same on call as well)
                        If this is the extent of service Tikona provides (both I terms of network and customer service, I would rather request the Tikona authority to terminate my connection and refund my money. I am seriously tired of making calls to Tikona regarding the non-availability of service.

                          After reading your policy of referral discount in bill, I have referred a person who take the connection too in my own colony.
                          He live in same area as of mine. He got the connection and started using the internet and paid 2 bills till now. But i have not received any discount in my bill.

                          Request you to please provide the discounted amount in the bill.

                          I am also paying the bill through your online portal. On paying bill through online portal always get a discount in next bill statement. I have paid more than 2 bills but have not received any discount in any bill. Please provide that discount also.

                          referral — not available online forms

                          dear sir or madam, as i join in this concern today but still not get any kind of online forms. when i will get the forms.

                          Dear Tikona, Its very strange reply i receive from you people. Are you realy so stupid or you just act like so.
                          I have refer a friend from online portal of tikona itself, where i have filled all my details. They proceeded for the connection and established the connection there. The person strange using the internet and filled two bills. After all this when i didnt receive any discount, then executive is saying i need to fill one more form. Why they have not communicated that at the time of rereferal. Or why they have just said that only fill online form to refer a friend. This is completely a fraud from tikona again. How much fraud this company will do. I am absolutely not satisfied with the services and such kind of things making me more negative to use Tikona services. No reply for not giving discount for paying bill online. Any reason for this?

                          Deal all internet users, never trust Tikona, its just a fraud company. It never fulfill their commitment in providing the speed. Nor this company ever provide you discount for referal or paying bill online.
                          Please please please do not use services of tikona, they are doing open fraud with innocent people. If you get lots of suffering in future, then don't think you are not informed on net.

                          I am very very very frustrated with the services of tikona and their day to day frauds. huff ...what the hell this company is.

                            Tikona is the worst service provider.They have the worst services in the country & they will delay your refund if at all you have to take any refund from them.
                            Please read my letter which I wrote to them to understand the hassle they create for a customer.-

                            Dear Tikona Team,
                            I had a connection of Tikona No- [protected] ,which was a prepaid connection-I had paid 3300/- Rs. for 30 GB Plan.
                            The connection was Terminated by your team as due to new building the feasibility of signals was not proper.
                            I was given a disconnection request no. by your people. No.- 1-[protected] dated 2/05/2012.I was told that within 45 days I will get the refund of my amount.
                            I did not get any call from your side.
                            I wrote to customer care & I got another no. from your company .Ref no- 1-[protected],which was sent on 12/06/2012.
                            I wrote to them again as I did not hear from anyone.I got a mail from Tikona on 1st July by Sonal G which said my connection was Terminated on 23/06.2012 & my refund will be sent to me shortly.
                            I waited patiently but did not hear from Tikona.I wrote to you again with a copy of appellate authority which again gave me a Ref. No.- 1- 1-[protected] on 5th August for future reference but neither got my refund or any call or mail.
                            I called up customer care on 17th August & talked to Sachin at 6.53PM .He could not answer about my refund.I asked him to connect to his senior but he refused saying that his senior was busy & He would arrange a callback within 24 Hrs. but that did not happen
                            Now what is Happening with your company???
                            Every time I write to you or call you you are giving a reference no.But what is happening to these nos??
                            Even the appellate authority is doing the same.
                            Will you refund my amount or should I go to the consumer court to file a case of mental harassment & Damages along with the Delay in Refund & Providing poor service.
                            This is my last Reminder to you & Mr.S. Nair.

                              Dear Sir,
                              I have a broadband connection with you, that's user id no is [protected]. My broad band is not working properly since 22nd Aug 2012. Thereafter i made a complaint at our customer case and docket No. is 1-[protected] which is progressing till now.
                              One of your representative visited on 23rd Aug 2012, he told devise is not working, it has to be replace.

                              After that no one is ready to come for visit and replace the devise.
                              Every time i have called but your executive asked about check the devise and kill my 30 min every day. and no satisfactory answer has been given by them.
                              When I sent a e-mail to Mr. Nagesh Prasad, Nodal Officer & Head (Compliances) his mail id nagesh.[protected]@tikona.in which is provided to TRAI webside by tikona then failure notice was received. Tikona provided wrong e-mail id to TRAI website. therefore act of tikona is not good.
                              Pleaes do the needful on urgent and provide resolution.

                                Sir, i was using the internet service of Tikona Digital Network from Nov. 2011 but from very first time the service is very poor, and after the meany complained in the month i decide to remove the connection hence i called to Tokona care to disconnect my Internet connection in the month of Feb 2012, and after my call, the person from Tokona Company come to my House in the month of May 2012 and said to me that Rs. 500 is your final settlement but after the month i got bill, generated by Company and demand me for payment i refuse to pay because my full settlement was completed, beside of above my Security deposit Amount also not refunded by Company yet the date. also Sir I am a student of Chartered Accountant of India (final ) my Exam Is also due in Nov.2012, and telephone call yet to come by the person for demanding outstanding Payment the the case of harassment also. Please sir considered my Complain on Priority basic. thanks a lot.......

                                  I had a Tikona connection till 28 Jun, 2012, with User Id [protected]. The connection was surrendered on 30 Jun2012, and in the first week of July, 2012, the Tikona representatives came and took back the hardware. Now, even after nearly 2 months after surrendering the connection, these people have generated a bill for the monthe of July -Aug, and are asking me to pay for the same......WITHOUT HAVING THE CONNECTION. I haven't, in my lifetime come across a more careless and insensitive organisation than Tikona. I am apalled that these people get away without having an apellate authority or a Nodal officer. There is a Nodal office for namesake.....who is unavailable even to the GODS!! Shame that I had ever taken a connecion from these people!. I am now planning to claim harrasment damages from them.

                                    Hi ,

                                    This is to bring to light the unprofessional attitude and unfair means adopted by the employees of Tikona Digital
                                    Networks.
                                    The broadband service is pathetic and hence I submitted a request to disconnect it. I followed up via phone and email and was assured a prompt action which never materialized.
                                    2 months has passed since but then but there's no remedial action.

                                    The support team constantly harassed me and asked me to make payment for no internet usage.
                                    They hired people who professed to be "Mr.Rajendar Chaudhary" from Delhi's Teeshazari Court and threatened to
                                    file a legal case if I do not pay the dues.

                                    I had always payed the bills lawfully and this time too did the same.
                                    This is height of insolence and unprofessional-ism and needs to be curtailed.

                                    The act is getting repeated and I believe its time to get the concerned people under the hammer of law.
                                    The company should be sued for taking the law abiding customers on a ride.

                                    I have also contacted Mr.Sunil Nair but to no avail.

                                      I applied for disconnection on 21st of July 2012. There has been no communication and the disconnection is not done. On top of this they are sending bills after bills. I have emailed Mr Nair who is the Appellate Authority but there has been no action. Please find email thread below. I have replied to this mail thread everyday many times but even he has stopped replying.

                                        i had taken broadband connection in 2011 for 1 year and had paid the subscription by chq after six months the sales officer of tikona visited and suggested another six monthly plan which was accepted by me and the payment for the same rs 2400 was also done by chq. even after changing plan the costermer care started giving calls about payment of the earlier plan which was may be explained to them 100th time that the plan was changed. the custemer care is not ready to give address or phone of the regional office. i contacted the sales person regarding this but he said that it was his duty to inform the billing section about the plan change and he had done that. still i was harressed for the payment. in the mean time the existing connection was disconnected due to some tower problem. for that i continously lodged complaints and was given assurance that the problem will be solved but it was not done. later when i got to know about the tower prob i asked them to repay my money as the new connection bearly lasted for 3 weeks. even after numerous mails and phone calls nothing happened. i som how found out the technical office and personally went and gave them the complaint and the person attending gave mail to his billing officer mr shahaji patil and assured that the repayment will be done asap. still nothing happened. then i started getting calls from various lawers of delhi high court about a case being filled aganist me and will need to pay about 1.5 lacs as defaulters. they do not listen to u at all. this is a harrassement by the company as i am due to receove my money back and these people are asking for money from me and thretening of a police case . this is a sick company and no one should deal with them
