hi i am parth from delhi and had a very bad experience with tikona from 1st day

i had purchased a tikona internet connection 3 days back from mr mahendra pandey [protected] and mr vivek solanki [protected],
till they dint get there money they were always on phone as soon as they got the money they refused to pick our call, today the guy came to put the connection when he left incomplete i.e the wire is hanging around at my place,
as promised by mr pandey and vivek the wifi modem i had showed them before taking the connection, which they tested and said will work with it
today they refuse to help me out on it.
i am very pissed with this kind of company and demand for a full refund or plz solve my problem asap

I am Suffering From 4 days still now no action take place....I have to call all the people of tikona regarding service but still nobody take a responsibility for this....Please help me ...
Bad service... I took the connection in 27th Nov'2010 for six months. Due to bad service like not connecting for 5days & speed, I requested to disconnect on 14th may 2011. Customer care people took the request and disconnected in 2hours. But shocking thing is I got the call on 22 june 2012 i have a due of Rs.3794.00. This people are not telling me the date i raised for disconnection & over to that they are using bad words to make me to pay. I am lodging the compliment against tikona in consumer court in bangalore.I serious request dnt take tikona connection. Its really bad service.

    Hi i'm Asif from Mumbai,

    I had taken a tikona broadband 6 months connection but to my surprise they cheated me by providing it only for 3mths.... when i had lodged a complaint with them to check they started demanding me to pay extra charges for the remaining 3 months...


    They also, have the aduacity to say complain were ever you want, the customer care sucks big time no ethiquittes to talk to a customer who gives them business. & when i told the customer care guy i would lodge a complaint with "GRAHAK SEVA"all he had to say was KARLO JO KARNA HAI, HAMARE UPPAR WAISE HE 400 COMPLAINTS PENDING HAI".

    I am going though a bizzare experience with these guys.... would never suggest anyone to use this servce provider.

    TIKoNA SUCKS BIG TIME with their fake commitments and pathetic customer care where they just dont VALUE the customer & thier time.

      I was given payment last 6 months ago but after 6 month over no any body comes for Installation or not refund my money 1200/-. What is your process giveing wrong information to costomer.

      Can you tell me how much time you will take for installation 1 day, one month, 6 month or 1 year. its already over 5 month.

      before 10 days your I have received a call from your customer care & they toll for installation with in 72 hrs. but after 10 days no any engineer come for installation Why.

        My account# is[protected]. I raised service request to close my internet service on 18th March 2012 (SR#1-[protected]). Service request was acknowledged by customer care. But I kept on receiving bills even after that. I called customer care to get more information about this, but they were not able to explain. In fact they put my call on hold and disconnected my after few minutes (this happened twice).

        Customer care told me that I should have send email confirmation after registering complaint. This was not informed earlier. I disconnected service due to technical issues, was not able to connect to internet (how could I send email).
        Then they sent collection agent to by home to collect outstanding amount. So I end up paying for service which I never used.

        I hope management will look into this issue and refund me accordingly.

        I am currently a user of TIKONA with the user id [protected]. I have received my first bill from TIKONA which is shocking to me; I am disputing the bill as I have the following issue:

        The plan which I have requested is BB449 UNLIMITED Plan and based on which I made the initial payment. However, the plan which is mentioned on the bill is ADCB299. This plan ADCB299 is a limited plan which is charging me extra usage, i never requested for limited plan. So I mailed my issue to TIKONA customer care asking to rectify the plan with immedi/ate effect.
        After 24 to 30 hrs I got a mail from customer care ID with all the calculation and confirmation of plan change. It was great experience with Tikona customer care, I really appreciate.
        Thank you for your co-ordination and resolving my issue.
        I am really pleased with the manner in which my problem has been addressed and resolved. Special mention to Mr. S. Nair & Team who have taken pain in addressing my billing issue evolved due to charging me with an undesired billing plan. The team has worked with the back end billing team to understand the problem, ensured proper co-ordination, rectification and enabling me to have my desired services within a short time.
        Keep it up. Hope for similar support and co-operation in future.

          Please fInd below my complaInt and the reply I got from the nodal
          offIcer , that too after callIng and askIng hIm about the status of my
          complaInt.

          On the other hand, the bIllIng department and collectIons
          department are sendIng me varIous remInders for the amount due. I was
          told to contact the customer care by your Nodal offIcer whIch I trIed a
          lot many tImes, but as usual always busy.

          I just want to raIse one questIon that why should I pay for the
          servIces whIch I am not usIng and for whIch I have put In a request for
          dIscontInuatIon and that too just because there Is a delay from your
          end. You can check my usage record also.

          I am really very dIsappoInted that the servIces I was promIsed were
          not met. Money Is not an Issue, but your team had broken a customer's
          trust and have harassed me to a poInt where I don't want to waste even
          a sIngle extra penny on thIs Internet servIce.

          somethIng really shockIng for me because I paId the full amount asked

          page I found my address gIven Is Incorrect. That too after gIvIng my
          address proof along wIth my applIcatIon.
          At thIs poInt agaIn I am just jugglIng between your
          customer-care,TechnIcal, and sales people determInIng whose fault Is
          It. I don't understand How all these three departments are dIfferent
          from each other when for a Customer It's the company TIkona he/she Is
          dealIng wIth.
          And now your collectIon team have the adrocIty to send me an emaIl
          askIng for money ( a mere Rs221/-) . FIrst solve the customer's problem
          and then ask money. There's actually a lot more whIch I can wrIte about
          but I don't thInk there Is any more need to waste your and my precIous
          tIme on all thIs any more.
          Anyhow, now just cancel my connectIon and collect whatever Is the
          pendIng amount. I hope you would be able to resolve thIs at the
          earlIest. Please don't try to convInce me to see for another month
          because your tech team executIve have already done that. I agreed at
          that tIme but can't do It anymore.

          Tikona Digital Networks — slow speed and no cooperation from customer care & technical department

          Dear Consumer Forum,

          I recently subscribed to Tikona Digital Networks which projects itself as India's best Digital ISP.

          I have taken new Internet Wireless connection from Tikona on 14 March 2010 which has been activated on 27 March. At the time subscription, the speed was mentioned as 300kbps.

          I am now victim of this ISP after paying Rs.500 towards intallation charges for a 300kbps internet with a Wi-Fi enabled modem.The service provider has deceived us by installing broadband connection with a cable modem. In addition this cable connection works only intermittently with a very low speed of 2Kbps to 3 Kbps.


          I made ample number calls to the Tikona care and ended up gaining nothing. Every time we make a call, they ask of a time period of 24 hours which now added up to 15 days.


          This is a Fraud Company - false committments.

          Please address my query & take action against this Company.

          - I have subscribed for FUL599 plan (300kbps) 2 weeks ago.
          - Internet connection is In-consistent.
          - I am getting only 40-80 kbps speed (and rarely 100 kbps if I stop windows firewall).
          - I am not getting a satisfactory technical support. Their staff seems to be totally unprofessional.
          - I wonder, that how TIKONA is surviving here with such a In-Competent, Un-skilled, and Un-professional team (in all the fronts either Sales, Installation, Technical or Customer care staff).

          Please let me know whether you have got a proper service after your follow-ups. If so, please suggest me the steps you followed.

          Hi,

          Tikona is the worst ISP.

          I took 4mbps/50gb unlimited plan, since installation(May16, 2015)

          1. I constantly face disconnection problems(works 5 mins doesn't for hours)
          2. Speed is averagely on 0.7 Mbps, If I'm lucky would touch 2 once in day(just touch.)
          3. Customer care is by far the worst I have seen, they are unwilling to resolve anything.
          4. Billing department is stupid enough to ignore bill waiver they themselves provided in my billing.
          5. There is no higher authority if your problem is not solved, Nodal officer's number is not provided(mail bounces back its fake email address)
          higher appellate authority is fake, all you get a computer generated reply nothing else.


          I have raised 50+ complaints, 10 of them are still progressing.

          I have also taken service of Tikona. Entire team is terrible, fraud and pathetic.

          Hello Tikona Team,

          I am facing poor net connectivity, and even I am not able to surf on speed mention in the plan.

          I have also tried to contact your customer care executive, but they put call on hold or Mute and I am not able to inform my problem.

          If I am facing this problem for more then 2-3 days then internet connection is useful for me and I am not going to pay amount. Even I am facing losing of my work which result into losing my monetary value.

          Please let me know if internet speed can be normal or I need to take other connection.

            I had applied for Tikona Wi-Fi service on 12/12/2011, for 2 days it worked fine, after theat thee Broadband didn't work at all. When I spoke withe Tikona's Technical Helpdesk, theey sent an Engineer on thee 6th day. That Engineer came and said, I don't have feasibility in my area and theen he spoke withe his manager. After theat, theey asked me to cancel thee connection and on thee same day, I have signed on thee cancellation form. I had paid 1500/- for thee connection. Though I have requested for thee cancellation, theey are keep on sending thee bills. I spoke to theem many times regarding theis and I have done whatever theey suggested me to cancel thee service because I don't have Broadband at all. Finally, theey said, my account has been canceled and I'll be receiving thee refund withein 15 days, till today, I didn't receive any refund. On top of theat, on (03/06/2012) theey have sent me one more bill. It's very annoying. First of all, I have paid 1500/- for thee service which I don't have, on top of theat, every time I receive a bill for notheing. Please help me withe theis. I am getting frustrated withe TIKONA Wi-Fi Broadband. Please, help me. I have all thee emails which I have used to contact theem if theat helps.

            We are grateful that your service request was brought to our attention and we appreciate your perseverance in settling this matter. Our team has gone through the details, and as per their update,

            customer’s Tikona account is in Inactive status and hence Customer will not be able to use the service.

            Account is in Inactive Status because No payment is done from customer’s side. We have forwarded many reminders for payment but customer has not done.

            Hence due to Inactive status we can cannot terminate the account. Kindly settle the account by paying the outstanding.

            Also refund is not applicable as there was around 3 GB usage.

            I am currently a user of TIKONA with the user id [protected]. I have received my first bill from TIKONA which is shocking to me; I am disputing the bill as I have the following issue:

            The plan which I have requested is BB449 UNLIMITED Plan and based on which I made the initial payment. However, the plan which is mentioned on the bill is ADCB299. This plan ADCB299 is a limited plan which is charging me extra usage, i never requested for limited plan. So I mailed my issue to TIKONA customer care asking to rectify the plan with immedi/ate effect.
            After 24 to 30 hrs I got a mail from customer care ID with all the calculation and confirmation of plan change. It was great experience with Tikona customer care, I really appreciate.
            Thank you for your co-ordination and resolving my issue.
            I am really pleased with the manner in which my problem has been addressed and resolved. Special mention to Mr. S. Nair & Team who have taken pain in addressing my billing issue evolved due to charging me with an undesired billing plan. The team has worked with the back end billing team to understand the problem, ensured proper co-ordination, rectification and enabling me to have my desired services within a short time.
            Keep it up. Hope for similar support and co-operation in future.

              The Main problem is even after calling the customer care for resolving the issues of no connectivity, I do not get a guaranteed callback and resolving the problem of no connectivity.
              In 30 days time frame, almost 12 days I do not get the connectivity from this broadband. I had been a customer of TIKONA almost past 1 year, and now the executive who had come last time on 22nd of may, at 9:30 in the morning told me that on Saturdays and Sundays there are problem as there is congestion. My question is then How does my TATA PHOTON + connects, whereas I believe that there are more customers who know TATA Photon BRAND NAME, rather than TIKONA.
              The Executive who had come on 22nd, May, had resolved the connectivity issue in the morning, but the same day when i returned home in the evening it had the same connectivity issue. TIKONA customercare called me yesterday on 1st of June, 2012 for reminding me that I have to pay the bill before 2nd June, 2012. I paid the bill by online transaction, and my Transaction ID is[protected]. I cannot connect as there is connectivity error. Whereas, when I connect through my other internet card, the TIKONA portal opens. How does that happen.
              I wish to resolve this issue, as every month I pay almost Rs. 1000/- , for 30 days internet connectivity, but the same comes to me for 12 – 15 days only, which also started since a couple of months only.

                I am a new customer and I have taken 512kbps unlimited plan, in the beginning of the month I was getting very good speed that is up to 55 to 65 kbps and now I am getting just 10 to 15kbps. To have the answer I had word with customer care on toll free no from there I came to know that my plan is having a hidden condition that is after 9GB my plan will give me such speed.

                Now my complain is when the person who came to my place to explain me plan and get me a connection has not informed me this condition to make complain against him I called on local nodal desk no that is[protected] but on that no they are just receiving and disconnecting my call I have tried 4 to 5 time but they just pick up and drop the call.

                Now can you help me for the same?

                Tikona — wrong plan

                promised speed of 2 mbps with the plan but all i get is 512 kbps ... and every time i talk to customercare they wil say give me 1 minute and they cut the call.. i am fed up of calling them again and again all they do is cut the call... the customer service is the worst that i have come across

                It’s been 5 hrs since the connection of TIKONA Digital networks has been running but the connections seems not working at all. I booked a 2mbps connections but the download speed never seems to go beyond 25kbps. The browsing speed is very low, prob around 50kbps, so I mailed Tikona on their customer care ID and nodal ID.

                They assured me that the issues would be resolved soon and a engineer visit was scheduled. Engineer came at my place and tested the equipment according to him the device at my place was faulty, so to replace that he left my premises and in next day morning new device was placed by Tikona Engineer.
                Thanks a lot for the quick action, My connection is delivering with complete satisfaction now. Thanks again.

                  Still taking the connection these fellows keep on convincing by attracting offers. Once the connection is taken no one will respond to the queries or the service is worst and Speed will be very slow.

                  i am having the same problem with tikona internet. at the time of internet connection i was commmited for 2 mbps speed but soon after they giving only almost half of it and when i complaint about it they say that your speed is appropiate to your plan and it will fluctuate upto 2 mbps but i never get the full speed i only get half of it ...

                  I have paid for Rs. 15, 000 for leaseline connection based on internet
                  connection speed guarantee given by sales person Dipak(+[protected],
                  He promised me I will get 1MBPS downloading and uploading speed (not
                  bandwidth), I spoke to him 100 times and confirm about the speed or
                  bandwidth he said speed..I also told him suppose I want to download
                  files what speed I get he said 1mbps..I also told him I want to run 8
                  computers on leaseline is it possible he said yes that is also possible.once
                  I got connection I got 1mbps bandwith (I was told speed) when I checked
                  downloading speed it was 54kbps so definatetly now usable for me and on
                  next day I started sending them complaints and started calling them and
                  explained them my situation, they ignored my complaint and now they
                  sent me Rs. 5200 extra bill which I was not aware of as I have used only
                  3-4 days and speed sucks so its not usable. Now they filed case against me to pay them Rs. 5200, I
                  am putting screenshot of my 1st email I sent to them when I got welcome
                  email from them and I asked them to cancel the service and refund on

                    i am from delhi name koushik das. tikona people have contacted me as i was intrested to install tikona broadband in my home, they came to me and taken 2000/- and after that no responce at all. i am totally fade up with tikona, i call them several times , customer support is very rude, i am totally without solution.

                      Tikona wireless services — Useless network service

                      I took this Tikona wireless network 20days back, from the first day itself i m facing many issues like there would be no proper network service and no proper assistance from the customer care.Eventhough i called they ll not respond and even in some situations they would switchoff their mobiles..They have not provided any kind of information to resolve the issue.I am not able to work with the network and not able to use the services.Even they have not given me the customer care details to call them in urgency.Its a worst service which is eligible to band.They are ready to take money even 5rs for th service but they ll not come to resolve the initial issue..

                      Tikona Digital Network — Very Poor Service

                      We were facing so many problems with the Broadband Service provided by Tikona since we have taken the connection every now and then they promised us that the services will be fine and asked us number of chances that they will get it rectified. We gave chances and kept on calling their technical team regularly regarding the network problem which we were facing.
                      Last Complaint for this was[protected]

                      Ultimately after we got frustrated and decided to get rid of this Service and made a disconnection request.
                      [protected] and we were promised that the connection will be disconnected within 7 days.Even though we received confirmation call regarding disconnectin.But it was more than 20 days no action taken.Again when we called up to know the status of request they are saying that the earlier request has been closed. We need to make a new request and again said that the connection will be disconnected within seven days.

                      So i think why should we pay for this months when we were expecting that this should be terminated but not being terminated yet.
                      I have taken their broadband service connection and its not working.
                      while gvng the connection he explaind about the package i.e for full599 the speed will be 512 kb/s but they are providing only 300kb/s .and browsing speed & downloading spped is very slow.i cmlptd so many tmes but they r not gving any response to me.

                      Try to solve this problem as soon as possible
                      I was using Tikona internet service for few days for my official propose. Their customer service people have treated me with very bad experience. I wonder as to why the Indian Govt provide licensee to such company who are back of money instead of fulfilling the customers desires (service). Rude people are qualified to work (Doesn’t speak good lang to communicate/ doesn’t know how to treat customers who have invested money and due to which they have job/ lack of manners and professionalism), No system to follow their work . May 17th I got the connection, end of July 2010 I had issues with the internet and got fed up calling them for help, each time I was made to explain the same issue. August I called them to disconnect the connection, It took close to an 3 months to resolve one issue, Even After 3 months they were not bothered. I push it as I didn’t wanted such cheap company to follow me to Mysore as I am shifting shortly. I have made them to fix the date to take the payment or else I will not make it . I have call recordings on which I said, I will not make the payment if they don’t come by 29th of oct 2010 to collect the payment, guess what!!! They didn’t!! 30th Oct I called again to say, hey, you guys agreed “not to make the payment if the agreed date (29th Oct) your guys don’t come to collect the money then they started talking rude, We have other customers to talk, try to understand, we don’t have time, we will send the people tomorrow to collect the money etc” Finally I realize that it is not safe to deal with such company and people (rude) so I told them I will make the payment.
                      My objective here is not to gain my money back but to save the customers who are planning to invest money to such company. Who doesn’t know the value of time and doesn’t have system to follow their work. I have wasted 45 min talking to them at first conversation to fixed the date to make the payment, second time it took 47 min to find a resolution.
                      I have all the conversation recordings to prove that they didn’t follow what they promised and I am not happy about it. Finally, Thank god I have not provided my new address to this company.

                      Please don’t use Tikona for any cause. Hoping that consumer complaints people will provide me Tikona companies MD or CEOs direct phone # so that I can talk to them and tell them “21st century and you company still makes fake promises to convince customers for which you will pay now ”.

                      Tikona Digital Networks — Non refund of Installation Charges and Rude service

                      I had applied for a new connection after receiving call from the service provider on 26th march 2011. I was promised that within 2 days the installation process will be complete, which did not happen. I had to call the company several times when after 15 days a person turned up for installation. He informed me there was no coverage in my area, contradicting the demo day as when the demo was conducted there was coverage in my area. After several attempts second person came to my residence on 1st May and i was informed that the application was canceled. I never received a call about the cancellation. When asked about refund i was asked to register a complaint which i did. Then after 5 days when I called to check the the refund status i was informed that I have to email for same, this was also done by me. During all this time I never received any communication, I had to call the company. There were several calls made and was informed the request is not yet generated. When I called again on 25th may I was informed that the request for refund is not complete and when asked there was no SLA provided. When asked forn SLA for refund I was informed that the company has no SLA. Also the organization is harassing me by sending bill payment messages when i do not have any account with them. After 3 months I do not have a time when the money will be refunded. I please request you to help me in this. I have all the communication details, the bills to show the number of times i contacted the company and the emails sent, but have never received any response. The customer call agents shout and yell when asked for an SLA. The supervisors also do the same. no one is ready to help. The company Tikona Digital Services is a Fraudulent company for falsely informing me there is no coverage when there are people using the services, not sending engineers for services, not refunding my money and sending me messages to pay bill without having an account with them.

                      but it says max time limits to connect service engineer..9 mins but cal get cuts within 4-5 mins

                      I took a wireless internet connection from Tikona in Jan 2013 to keep a watch on our showroom through remote access as my husband was operated for cancer and he is bedridden for last 6 months. I was assured 2mbps regular speed at time of giving the connection but right from the day one services were highly unsatisfactory. Major issues were low speed, frequent dis connectivity, no visits by engineers etc. From 3 rd week of Mar 2013 situation became more worse and everyday we had to call customer care deptt. and since they were not able to rectify the fault online they promised visits by engineers ( which rarely happened ). In the whole month of April around 50 calls were made to the customer care deptt. but no permanent solution was provided by the company. I requested them to refund my installation charges, waiver in bill and compensation as company failed to deliver the services but they refuse. Now they are sending threatening mails to clear the dues and my request for disconnection is also not being taken seriously. Through your forum I request people to keep away from this company they are cheats looking for short term gains like installation charges ( because they claim it's non refundable ) . This company has a very inefficient customer care and field staff your problems will never be resolved. The only deptt. which is very efficient is recovery and collection they will start sending threatening mails and calls in case you raise a dispute. This company is very smart once they realize that customer will opt for disconnection they ask you to return the equipment's and clear all the bills and then they do the final settlement. You will be charged for periods when there services were not even available and in case you request for a disconnection and by mistake send a mail to them through there network to esquire the status of your complaint , your disconnection request is null and void. So plz plz ask other consumers to avoid this company they are big time frauds and cheats there are hundred of complaints against them. I'm planning to go to consumer court in June in case anybody from Ghaziabad area wants to join us you can contact us on our mail i.d [protected]@yahoo.com. I'm planning a campaign against this company in Indrapuram area I request all the consumers who have suffered at the hands of this company to unite and teach them a lesson, so that in future no other company dares to take consumers for a ride.
                      At the time of installation, a temporary kind of installation was done including drilling holes for the wire coming down.
                      Now i am having problem connecting to the network from a long time due to dislocation. And the engineer assigned to do the job has a switched off phone. How to contact him? Should i just sit the whole weekend waiting for that person to come an do the job. I have various things to do and that too on sunday. You really have a very bad service including the engineer&#039;s attitude towards their work. Hope you improve it and please get my job done asap or i&#039; ll be force to quit your connection.
                      It is the same problem with Tikona I also face. They are collecting the money in advance. Public, Please do not pay them at all. Their service is very bad & they dont disconnect till they swallow the money and tell us that we disconnected only now and so no refund. do not take Tikona service at all.

                      Tikona's called legal advocate is calling from tees hajari court and force to pay money immidiately otherwisw they will file case and raise legal action against us and we have to go delhi for this case or will have to pay very high fine.

                        Hi this is Arun, I got a Tikona BB connection 2 months ago, the salesman sold me the package saying that it will be the best service, speedy installation and cancel any time. I fell into the trap and took the connection, from day 1 of starting the service I have been facing technical issues. The minimum issue resolution time is 48 hours and every time you call the Tech support you have to hold for at least 5-8mins to get through. So I requested for them to cancel the service, every time the representative will say 1000 pleases to make sure we don't cancel. So i took the bait and continued for 2 months. Finally I couldn't bare it anymore and cancelled the service. Now it has been at least 20 days and I have started receiving collection calls. When I called up customer service in response to the complaint and asked to be transferred to a supervisor they disconnect the line. Even to reach a Customer service rep it takes 8-10mins of holding on their line. On May 19 I reached them several times and they repeatedly disconnected my calls. Now after that i have received 3 collection calls today, every time I have to repeat the issue and they want me to pay up before they take any action. The 1st collection rep told me the process of disconnection takes 45 days but you don't have to pay anything just call customer service.

                        Overall I have had several conversations with the Tech, CC and the collections agent all of them provide wrong information. They keep harassing me.

                        I am currently a user of TIKONA with the user id [protected]. I have received my first bill from TIKONA which is shocking to me; I am disputing the bill as I have the following issue:

                        The plan which I have requested is BB449 UNLIMITED Plan and based on which I made the initial payment. However, the plan which is mentioned on the bill is ADCB299. This plan ADCB299 is a limited plan which is charging me extra usage, i never requested for limited plan. So I mailed my issue to TIKONA customer care asking to rectify the plan with immedi/ate effect.
                        After 24 to 30 hrs I got a mail from customer care ID with all the calculation and confirmation of plan change. It was great experience with Tikona customer care, I really appreciate.
                        Thank you for your co-ordination and resolving my issue.
                        I am really pleased with the manner in which my problem has been addressed and resolved. Special mention to Mr. S. Nair & Team who have taken pain in addressing my billing issue evolved due to charging me with an undesired billing plan. The team has worked with the back end billing team to understand the problem, ensured proper co-ordination, rectification and enabling me to have my desired services within a short time.
                        Keep it up. Hope for similar support and co-operation in future.

                          i am very sad from tikona services is facing from 27 april also registered complaint but no any solution my internet brodband.how can it possible without any solution my complain is closed.when login my account then login properly but only for 10-20minuts after automatic disconnected and show undefined network and automatically speed come.in this condition I am not complete any payment or any work. Also complain in technical support and I said my device network which is hang on third floor and see no signal in my device and also online check by technical team said your device not connected. then why my issues has been closed.I request u pls consider my problem and give me best solution.

                          Tikona Wifi Bro — slow speed

                          Had a connection of 512 kbps in which i should get a downloading speed of 64 kbps but through out the day if compared i get a average speed of 10 kbps. I had launched several complaints which as per the record are shown closed but the problem still persists. So kindly help me out.

                            I have a Broadband connection ID [protected] from TIKONA.


                            Ever since this BB connection was installed, I have not been getting the Internet connection. I have tried calling Tikona's Toll Free Support Center - both Technical Support and New Installation Support. The IVR rejects my ID as INVALID. I have tried calling several people and am completely fed up of their pathetic service.


                            I have sent e-mails to their Customer Care and also their Karnataka Nodal Office explaining this and also asking them to cancel the connection and to refund the amount paid to them in total without prejudice to my right to proceed against them legally for other incidental damages. I have no response from them besides several reminders.


                            I am now surprised to get a Bill from them for last month.

                              We had a Tikona Broadband connection for a few months from Dec 2011 to March 2012. Customer ID was [protected]. It was not working properly, Most of the time, It was down. So we got pained and requested for cancellation. We have paid bills regularly till we requested for cancellation in end March 2012.

                              The person (SDE Name: Nandish, SEID: [protected]) from Tikona came and collected all the equipment and gave me a receipt. I scanned and sent them the same through e-mail on April 5th 2012. The service ID of the complaint is Service ID: 1-[protected].

                              Till today (May 19 2012). they keep replying to my e-mail, the following thing....

                              "This is with reference to your below mentioned request for disconnection. We regret the inconvenience caused to you.
                              We would like to inform you that, as per our telephonic conversation, your disconnection request is in progress and has been forwarded to backend team for necessary action. They will be in touch with you."

                              But till now they didn't act on the disconnection request.

                              Now since last two weeks, they have been calling me and harassing me that I need to pay bill. When I asked them to remove the connection on April 5th(officially), why should I pay any bill amount at all? Isn't it their problem that they have not removed the connection? And more over, we have switched to 3G and switched off the modem..

                              They are continuously calling me once every two days and harassing me to pay the bill. Please act on them and do justice to me.

                                  I have applied for a new Tikona broadband Internet connection at my place in Kolkata on 15th May, 2012. The over friendly customer care executive asked me to pay the fee in advance online and assured that an engineer would come to my place within three business days time. I needed the connection urgently, as I will be out of the city in a few days time. I made the payment, however, nobody showed up on the third day, that is Thursday, nobody showed up on Friday and today the weekend starts, so I doubt anybody will show up in the next two days either. However, I called up the customer care this morning, and the guy blamed me, he said "you did not have the engineer come to you place because you did not open an account. We did not received the money as well because you did not open an account. So to get the refund, you will need to open an account, activate it, then you will need to deactivate it again to get a refund. And to get a refund, you need to show us your bank statement." It completely beats me, why would open an account that I dont need anymore? I paid you to activate my service, which includes a new account, which you didn't, so I need my money back, its as simple as that. I am providing my transaction detail here, I demand Tikona to refund my money. I have been using Tikona for last seven months at my other house in Gurgaon, which I am closing subsequently following this disastrous service. I also intended to take a third Tikona connection next month, I am dumping that idea too. The whole experience was utterly disgusting. I was treated like the fault was mine. I have also lodged a complaint at the consumers forum, in case you wanted to know. Here is my transaction detail.

                                  Tikona — Tikona Broadband not refunding Money of New connection

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  I took Tikona BroadBand connection last month and paid advance rental of 6 month Rs. 3900. Since day 1 my new Tikona connection was not working properly.
                                  I raised many compliant to Tikona and their Guys came at my home to fix problems but all the time they were unable to resolve the issue.
                                  They committed me that they give me refund if they failed to resolve the issue.
                                  At last when they failed to resolved the issue, I place request for disconnect and refund.

                                  They accepted the request and disconnected the connection and took their device from my home on 22st Feb. Their customer executive and customer care guys told me that you will get refund within 30 days.

                                  But still I haven't received any update from their side about refund. Whenever I used to call them they give different answer, like

                                  It will come, Refund request is not in our system, Request is there but we can't see the details, contact refund department, refund department say contact billing department.

                                  I have dropped so many mail to their tikona care email id for refund, even they are not responding. I had word with their Senior Manager in Customer Care, even they used to say we have escalated the request and will give you call in 1/2 hours. They never reverted to me yet.
                                  I chasing Tikona team since last many days, they are not giving any information about refund and giving me false information and false commitment.

                                  Contacted each and every person of Tikona, email id ,customer care, nodal office. Nobody is giving reply.


                                  Please Sir help me to get refund.

                                    I had a tikona broadband connection, I stopped the connection as I was frustrated by the poor quality of the product and service.
                                    I got the Final Settlement Bill on 18/01/2012 from Mr. Ragavendra (+91 [protected]) and he collected all the device from my premise.

                                    But now they are still sending me bills and calling me every month. Each month I had to convince them that I had stopped the connection. But they will call me the next month.
                                    The lattest bill generated with Bill Number: B[protected] generated on April 20.

                                    Now one of their colleagues has started to abuse me over telephone also.

                                      This Mahendra Kumar Sahoo, having tikona user ID [protected].

                                      I got a new connection under the plan ADULQ512K from the agent name Ashok with registered mobile no [protected]. I have asked the sales man about the fais usage policy of the plan repeatedly . I was informed that the speed 512kbps will be there right from the first day of installation till the last day of plan completion.

                                      So keeping this in mind I have consumed the 27GB in the first 15 days of my installation. Now the speed is now fluctuating with an average 0f 130 kbps.

                                      When I have inquired for the same in the customer care what I came to know about the fair usage policy and all.

                                      I just wanted to raise the concern that in the fair usage policy in the plan itself there is a row saying the fair usage details , but in the case of ADULQ512K not only there is any * mentioned in the side nor the fair usage row is their. This is clearly a cheat policy Tikona is providing. I think that the tikona sales person's are being trained to do so also ie not to disclose the hidden cheating policy details even if they are asked several times.

                                      Please take the issue into consideration and resume my normal speed that I was promised. .

                                        Dont take tikona its waste of money and time,,,, even if you have tikona they will con you when you want to disconnect it
                                        I was lucky to get it disconnected with a disconnection letter in my hand.. pls dont fall for such fools.....

                                        basic speed you will get is 30 kbps download speed for rs 649...

                                        and my local isp provides 2mbps at these rate that too unlimited.....

                                        choose hathway and local reliable isp instead of tikona it sucks badly.........
