Tikona is the worst thing that happened to me.
I bought a broadband plan from Tikona in March which promised me 750kbps for 6 months at Rs. 3900 (ID : [protected] ). The installation itself took me more than a week. The reason: "Your username password has not been generated by the system". How long does it take to generate a username and password? Specially when you have submitted all the documents and all of the password generation process is computer based.
Finally when it did get installed, I got the promised speed for only about a week. And since then it has been the beginning of a struggle between me and my computer: me asking the computer to load webpages; my computer trying to tell me that my net is v v slow, it cant be done. Forget the speed, the login page for tikona (without which you cannot connect to the internet) itself takes more than 20 minutes to open.
When I finally decided to call them and ask for a recheck from their side, I got a response saying that an engineer would come and make things right. The day he arrived, (after another week of-course 22-April, '12), he struggled to get the login page. After many trials, he left saying that my device is faulty and it needs replacement. On being asked as to when and how the device would be replaced, he gave an angry look and said that it would take time as it would have to come from the company. Its been a week since then, I havent heard from anyone from Tikona. I have not been able to use the net properly.
Even as I type this, I am facing a lot of difficulty in connecting to the internet. I get speeds of only about 60-100kbps while browsing the net.
Inspite of many mails back and forth between me and tikona, my grievances have not been addressed by tikona. Is there anything you can do either get my money refunded or the promised service provided?
If by any means it is possible, may strict actions be taken against companies like this, so that they may not harass people the way they have
harassed me. If there is anybody who can hear what I speak, I would sincerely suggest them to never go for Tikona.

Tikona Digital Networks Customer Care's response "We are grateful that your service request was brought to our attention and we appreciate your perseverance in settling this matter. Our team has gone through the details, and as per their update TT:- 1-[protected] raised from your side for unable to login has been resolved and service is restored which has been updated by SMS on your registered mobile number.
As per sessions there is 48 Gb usage till today. Hence issue resolved

Tikona Digital Networks — Broadband Installation
I have paid Rs. 1850 to Tikona for the Broadband connection on 8th June, they have done the installation on 13th of June, it was install but it was not working after that they are giving me assurance everyday that it will work today....it will work today....but that today has not come till yet.Everybody in Tikona saying lie, sales person(Bhupender Yadav), Technical person, customer care, also their nodel officer service is so carped, they don't have any problem if customer is suffering with any problem.
I think nodel office service is dummy.
I am loosing my lacs of Rs. business due to this problem because everyday i am thinking that it will be done today and will start my work from today onwards....
Can you please help in this matter.. i don't know what to do but i am very frustrated with that..
