No incoming or outgoing sms from prepaid mobile no. Sim replaced and multiple complaints made to phone service. Received several complaint numbers but all were closed by vodafone without any follow up. I am unable to use netbanking or other facilities. Most apathetic company. Porting to other networks also not possible as outgoing sms not going. Contacted company on twitter but received same apathetic responses with no follow up.

We are facing this problem since last year, PDF of CUG numbers are protected with password and the password that we were provided is not taking it anymore "virb7117" I have tried in CAPS form/or with but the result are same, So please provide the correct password ASAP.
I have never every seen this worst service given by agent name jyothi in Vodafone care she was soo arrogent tht she put me on hold without my permission

      Vodafone is the worst nowadays. I had called on my other no whether to see the services are disconnected or not so as to recharge. when called from my vodafone no to my other airtel no the recorded message was heard that the incoming services of the no are suspended and i disconnected the call. on disconnection i received a message that 0.23 paise has been deducted from your main balance. how is it possible that if i have not talked the balance can be deducted. why i should pay for the services i have not utilised. Even more on my other vodafone no i have unlimited pack activated and getting 1.4gb per day. on completion on the data atleast i should get a message that i have utilised the data, they straight away deducted the amount from my main balance and it amounted to Rs 115/- for using 10 minutes which nullified my balance and then the services where stopped. why is it so that they are deducting from main balance. if i have opted for 1.4 gb then only offer me that much after that stop services. on speaking to the customer care they replied that you have activated dnd services so you have not got the message. my question is when my balance was zero you stopped it, then why not on completion of the data pack. without my consent how can you deduct from my main balance. this is the worst worst and worsest cellular co. I have been using this for last 12 years, but now i think i should quit. is there any check on this cellular cos so that they can be stopped from such looting of companies. the matter is not of money but that same money can be used in an emergency situation when required. so only we keep the extra balance over and above our pack.

        Vodafone is trying to commit daylight robbery! I was on an ir pack for 7 days for the uk. Normally vodafone sends you an sms and or email to let you know well in advance that the pack is about to expire. This time i was sent the message after the pack has expired and since i was out of of a network zone and on the london underground i had anyway turned my data off and had no cell reception at all. Even then i have been asked to pay rs 4, 400 extra a’s charge for 8mb that i have not even used as my phone had no network!

        If someone can pay 3000 rs for data roaming for a week why will they not pay little extra and extend by a day if they want to use? It is unfair to charge for data that has not been used out of the pack in the first place!

        Worst customer service absolutely unhelpful as they are not wanting to resolve this issue and waive this wrong and deceitful charge!

        Has anyone found a way to resolve this? I would be grateful if someone else can share their experience and resolution!

        Still no call no contact nothing? This is not called customer service
        I got a msg on my phone for Vodafone tower job and told me to upload the resume on [protected]@gmail.com
        After I sent it.. I got a call from Vodafone Hr manager and questioned me regarding my Resume address and all.. And they providing me For the post of Area manager and they asking for 1000₹ for uniform charge
        Its a fraud or genuine
        I am not recieving otp for my vodafone number even from my vodafone app
        Please send the soft copy of the Feb & March 2019 monthly bill to devaki.[protected]@gmail.com for Vodafone Mobile No.[protected].

          I want to close my new vodafone postpaid connection due to very poor network connectivity and poor services even after complaining to customer care.in todays time of 4g and 5g, am i supposed to see that edge sign on my phone. When i enable 4g i get 3g network and when i disable it, i get edge network. Wow.. So this was all about vodafone network. Sorry but i don’t wanna use it and i am not supposed to wait for better network and to pay amount to them for this

            In the month of September 2018, I have taken 250 plan from Vodafone at mentioned number while taking the plan customer care executive clarified me that there is no Roaming charges on your phone which includes incoming as well as outgoing however last month I visited Andhra Pradesh where I made local as well as STD calls from my mentioned number however in the current month bill they have charged Roaming charges Rs. 117.10 and Conf. call charges Rs. 48.30 so in this regard I called up at their 198 number at 19:19 hours for amount reversal, they simply denied that they can not reverse the amount even I told them that its being informed me that Roaming charges are free that’s the reason I called up from this number unless I have another number from JIO where there is no Roaming charges if I was aware that there is Roaming charges in Vodafone number, I must use JIO number for outgoing calls but they did not accept my request and simply denied that they can not reverse the amount.
            I am requesting you to please ask Vodafone to reverse the Roaming as well as Conf. charges of Rs. 165.40 (117.10+48.30) also I request you to please impose Penalty of Rs. 5000 for Fraud & Forgery.

              I raised request of refund of amount mistakenly paid by me on 24/02/2019, but till date amount is not received in my account and according to vodafone they have initiated refund but it is not received yet. Also vodafone doesn't have any refund related details with them. I repeatedly call customer care but they are not giving any satisfactory answers.

                My vodafone number 9966xxxxxx has been billed wrongly for the last couple of months. I am being charged for the stuff i have not subscribed and supports technical inability could help to solve and find the problem and ongole vodafone care constantly ignoring the issue and started cancelling all subscriptions without informing us.

                Also i am being charged late fees in the bill. I had never put sim in my mobile during the period support/vodafone care claims i had subscribed to those services.

                They are not even trying to figure to what went wrong.

                For the past 57 days i've been trying to get this issue resolved but no luck. I am so fed up with customer support and "ongole vodafone global store located near bus stand" people working at "ongole vodafone global store located near bus stand" are very irresponsible and doing nothing. Me n my brother collectively have visited the office more than 10 times in 57 days.in feb the manager at vodafone care said 2 days but it has been passed more than 44 days and yet no resolution.

                  I want to activate my [protected].. If i was not subscribing any plan so company will stop my service? On which basis you can do because it depends upon customer whether he wants 2 recharge or not so how can company can force to recharge? It is against of human rights because if someone is using dual sim & 1 of which he doesn't recharge so it doesn't mean that particular sim has stopped so active my number otherwise i will go court regarding harrassment & forcefully recharge

                    Dear team,
                    My vodafone number [protected] is been deactivated more than a month ago.
                    I am getting an option to even call customer care. When i tried to call vodafone customer care, it is saying
                    "dailing failed. Cannot connect to mobile phone network"

                      I am a vodafone customer since long long time. My phone number is [protected]. This month my plan got auto migrated from 125 rental to 299 rental without any intimation to me. I repeat there was no intimation. Now i have been billed for 299 plan which is something i don't want and i haven't used. Mind you, this is the second time this is happening. I talked to your customer care and they openly admitted of the plan being auto migrated. So don't give me any more # regarding this. Last time this happened, my charges were reversed back to my old rental and that is what should be done now.

                      If you guys still come up with some crap excuses (Which i am used to), i am going to find people whom you have looted similarly and file a joint fir and show you guys the power of social media. So get your corporate 's brain in place and stop looting people.

                        I am totally frustrated with this vodafone network and decided to port out. Inspite of repeated attempts they are not allowing me to port out. I have repeatedly contacted customer service to resolve the problem but they give some silly reasons and are hesitant to port me out of vodafone. I have every right to select my network i have decided to port out from vodafone only because of the poor network and service. When they can't provide the service for the money i pay why should i suffer and be a looser. I need this to be shirt out immediately i have not recharged my phone for almost 10 days as i have applied for portout, so i am not able to call any. Kindly do address this issue.                             I live in barc colony boisar, pin:401501.
                            The 4g network coverage of vodafone is very poor and intermittent here. Also the speed offered by vodafone 4g ranges in upto 200-300kbps when it should be much higher as offered in a 4g network. Kindly take some action about it as there are lots of vodafone users here who are experiencing inconvenience. Hope to see this problem resolved as soon as possible.

                              I am living ouside india from some time but i still have a postpaid number from india. I have this number since 15 years and that's why i still want to keep it. I am not actively using this.

                              I have no idea what is that and how it got added without my concern.

                                I bought samsung note 8 in sep 2017. At the same time, as i was customer of vodafone postpaid, i subscribed for mobile insurance and every month i used to pay for it. Few days back my phone screen got broke and i was relaxed as my phone was insured. I claimed the insurance. After somedays they repudiated my claim and when i asked for the reason of rejection, they stated that it is due to insufficient documents provided. I corrected the documents and requested them to reprocess the documents. After this they gave me the reason that loss reported is due to 'carelessness or negligence'.

                                All accidents occur due to negligence only. No person on this earth willingly wants accident to occur.
                                The way you decided the repudiation, seems you don't want to process any claims regarding broken devices.

                                I believe if someone buys the insurance feels relax at the time of mishappening, rather your repudiation of the claim gave me tensions. And most important thing is, one should never buy an insurance as they are only wasting their hard earned money to fill your pockets as you are about to repudiate the claims stating its carelessness.

I had recharged the Rs. 399 worth 84 hours o[censored]nlimited internet pack, but if I did not recharge 84 days I would have been better if I used to number portability in Reliance Jio. I thought Vodafone was a good service but it was full, I would have to leave the Internet of Rs 399 / - but call it many times. I do not have the network but now my second number is [protected] but I will make the portability and we are grateful that we have given this service to the customers soon. Thank you

                                    Hi,

                                    I have been using vodafone service for more than a year. When the aircel crises happen, i was out of the station. So, i asked my uncle to get the vodafone sim using my port out a number.

                                    Now, i confirmed with vodafone customer care about to change the ownership. I approached to erode (Tamilnadu) megastore. They forced me to change postpaid connection then only possible.

                                    I showed the procedure which told vodafone customer, then they said ok give me the proof and all details.

                                    Both uncle and i appeared in front of them and gave all the proof with an original. Now they are saying, this will take more than 3 days and come back again to get activate and to get a new sim. (To convert postpaid, immediately will activate).

                                    What a shame on you? Do you think a customer should come frequently to get activation and sim ownership change they why customer care people told me like we can get a new sim immediately?

                                    I asked written letter about this but they refused.

                                    People should aware of these mobile networks, they are still trying to fool the people.

                                      Hi,

                                      I have bought lenovo k8 note bought on 2017, and as a vodafone red postpaid plan subscriber i enrolled myself in vodafone red shield plan (Mobile insurance). Last december 2018 phone got repaired. While i check lenovo authorised service centre in chennai they said software issue so software board need to replaced and charges will be around 6000. Same i got estimation. Then i raised in vodafone red shield plan (Mobile insurance). They accepted my request. After a two months follow they collected by their 3rd party "shotformats" my phone on feb 2019. Then no update from them.

                                      While they collect my phone they said that it will get repair by their own cost, else if the phone dead 90% of mrp amount will be reimbursed as per their policy.

                                      Its been 45 days no update from their end and while i call they said they cant return phone as well they cant reimburse 90% of money.

                                        On i was trying to call urbanclap customer care and i was not not able to place call and a message citing low balance was played. I thought my plan expired and recharged with 169. When i recharged and got a message that it had overwritten my previous plan, and my previous message (Which had gone down in messages history) showed that my previous recharge (On 15-jan-19) is valid upto 8-4-19. Again when tried to call, still got the same message to recharge and i had topup with 10 rs as i dint want to take waste my money with any wrong recharges. Later i came to know that customer care numbers starting with 1860 are not free and are chargeable which many customers do not know like me because in the recharge details this piece of information was not mentioned. (Even for 10rs top up i got message that minimum should be rs35 and rs10 recharge is invalid. Then why do they show a recharge ofrs10 in topup/talktime when its not valid?)

                                        Had the companies been specific in their voice message about this fact or atleast mentioned in their recharge details like unlimited calls does not include numbers starting with specific codes.

                                        Even otherwise when my recharge is still valid, playing a message that it expired and asking to recharge is surely misleading a lot of people like me and i had myself done repeated recharges and wasted money. The voice message should clearly indicate that i need to topup to call that number and not ask me to recharge with unlimited calls pack.

                                        This is clearly cheating customers with false or hidden information regarding recharges by vodafone and other mobile companies. Hence i request an action on vodafone and also return my recharge amount.
