Dear Sir,
Thank you for given me the opportunity to contact with you. My Name is Soham Adhikary the Chairman of Adhikary Group (www.adhikarygroup.com). I live at West Bengal, India. I run my business around the web and provide only the online services and do not sell any physical products. And all of my staffs are worked online as an Independent Contractor and therefore, I never felt the requirement of an office with physical address. And since 2007, I've been doing this business and going well. And since this time I've been using the services of Tata (Phone/cell/internet).
In December 2014, one of your sales staff called me regarding the group connection offer and the CEO liked this offer and he agreed to avail this offer. Consequently, two executives came to my house on December, 24th 2014. And that day I had given my business's 'Trade License, Professional Tax Paper, PAN Card, Letterhead copy, business Stamp, and my photo (on later date)', and I informed that my office setup would be completed by February, 2015 and I want you to activate this group connection (CUG/TFS/ILL/Tracking Software) by that time. They told me about the verification process, and then I informed them that the address which is mentioned in the Trade License it's my own residential house and there is no business setup you will find, and if you are looking for the business address then you have to wait for that time February, 2015. But yet one person went to my home address without sending me an intimation and the person told to my mother that here I cannot see any board of the company and it is not the business address, it's a residential house where no business setup I can see (which I informed them earlier), therefore, the verification process was not successful, and the connection was deactivated accordingly.
Consequently, I emailed to the staff (Name: Namita Mukhopadhay / Email: n.[protected]@mobileemail.vodafone.in) and mentioned to deactivate all the connection permanently.
15th Jan 2015, without informing me they again visited my house and discussed with my mother Mrs.Alpana Adhikary about this connection, and then the lady name mentioned above said to my mother that I'm a fraud person and my company as well, thereafter, when I spoke immediately with her over the phone then she clearly told me that I'M FRAUD, MY COMPANY IS FRAUD, AND EVEN SHE WILL DESTROY MY REPUTATION (by using the abusive language which I'm hesitating to let you know). The reason I've known that if this connection is not get activated then the company will deduct the amount of 15 days from her salary which my mother told me. What can I do for that? I agreed to take and that is why I provided all of the asked documents, if it doesn't match with your terms and policies then what could I do for that?
By the way, I've also spoken with Mr.Jayanta Das (who came to my house on December, 2014) immediately after talking to the lady, he is such a nice person who talked with me for a long time, told me everything, apologize, and made me feel to continue with this service. I have no intention to take any legal action against the lady (Namita Mukhopadhay), it may have that she lost her patience by knowing the salary deduction. Whether I'm fraud or not, whether my company is fraud or not, these are secondary matter which my lawyer will take required steps about it. First of the thing is that, whatever the legal documents I received from the Government to run my business, I provided all those to Mr.Jayanta Das & Mrs.Namita Mukhopadhay, whether these will be accepted or not; it's the matter of your company Vodafone. If it doesn't seem to be correct then it should discontinue, and if all the things are correct and acceptable then it should continue, but the matter of fact is that why this kind of misbehaviour I'll endure.
I've not used any slang or abusive language to degrade her value as I was speaking with a lady, and even I've never pressurized her for this connection, and even I've not disturbed her by phoning or emailing her repeatedly. I've been involved with businesses for the last 8 years and I'm using services of several companies such as Tata, Airtel, Idea etc. and neither I've faced any misbehave nor felt insulted but today I'm feeling so for the rude and misbehaviour of that lady. I would like to know your feedback before taking the legal steps, because I run a company and I'm aware of that situation if a legal action is taken against a company, and how bad it goes.
