I purchased Whirlpool Fusion R27, 260 lit refrigerator Model 11729 (Sr. No. INA[protected] from Agents Corner, 661/A, Deccan Gymkhana, Shivajinagar, Pune 411004 on 7 Nov 2009.

From day one the LED lamp on top of door is not functioning. This was informed to M/S Agents Corner immediately.
On 15 Nov 2009 engineer Mangesh Nankar visited my home just to explain working of the fridge. He said mechanic will visit to find out. Mr. Kasim visited after 2 days & said that battery was defective & was not in stock. Battery had to be ordered from Whirlpool factory. Mr. Kasim again visited on 20 Nov 2009 with a fresh battery. Battery replacement did not correct the problem. He said wiring was defective and machine will be replaced with a new one. He said factory representative will call me by 23 Nov 2009 & inform me when the machine will be replaced.

Till 25 Nov 2009 Mr. Kasim or any one has not called me to let me know about replacement refrigerator.

I have made at least 25 phone calls to Agents Corner, Whirlpool call center & service center but haven't received a response.

I live most of the time in USA & purchased Whirlpool product because I use Whirlpool products at my US home.

I am totally dissapointed with Whirlpool India, its dealer & service. Its call center is of no use to any one.

Even today (1st Dec 09) I have not received replacement refrigerator.

I hope you will help me in resolving this issue immediately

Wirlpool/Fusion — To be Replaced

Sir,

Last four months back I have Purchased one Wirlpool refrigerator, from MODASA, GUJARAT which is having a problem of door locking. Inside the fridge there is the birthplace of insects. No food can be stored inside it due to a pungent smell, spoils it all.
I have repetedly complain to the Dealer as well as to the Wirlpool Company, for replacing the unit, which is of no worth.
Therefore please look into the matter and take neccessary action for the replacement.

Whirlpool Refrigerator fusion — Refrigerator is not working

Whirlpool Refrigerator — NEED REPLACEMENT

I have purchased a whrilpool refrigerator on 29 Jan 2011 (Model No. 12172, Serial No. [protected]) from the dealer Kankunnath Home Appliance, Trithala-679534, Palakkad, Kerala. Within six months the Compressor became damaged and replaced and now it got a gas leak and the technician says it is repairable. How can I trust the product up to 10 years if it is damaging continuously. I have paid 14000.00 to buy this refrigerator and I really need to replace the product as soon as possible. Looking forward to get a positive reply from your side. Thanking you.

    I purchased whirlpool Air conditioner 1.5 ton on may 09.there is problem , a small light is always blinking.I have complained so many times,.they once came with board which is not suitable for machine.
    they say we replace a board but they did not do the same, there is extra sound in indoor unit,I have complained number of timer.
    this time i blieve that they come for service.thanking you sir.

    Whirlpool air conditioner — Installation not done

    I have purchase an air conditioner worth 20, 000/- and there no 1 came for installation even though i have made en number of calls to the customer care. After 2days a technician came started saying housing position is not good they can't install the a/c in the duct as it may drip, they can install the compressor on the terrace and it will take 12mts of wire that will cost me 8000/- excluding labor charges and clamp and the person came alone with out an assistant and told that he will get back to the company if the length of the wire may effect the cooling temperature went off with out installing. So the total cost of a/c for me is 28k which is equivalent to a 2ton a/c cost.

    Please note this complaint and help me accordingly.

    We have installed 5 number of Split A.Cs in our Company. All due to improper fitting have some or the other problem and I am regularly paying gas filling charges to the authorised technicians for each A.C.

    Whirlpool/Air Conditioner — Poor Product

    I bought an A/C Magic Cool of whirlpool.
    I am also permanent customer and my permanent customer id is 4841774.in previous one year the service people of whirlpool change my A/C's compressor two times and now my A/C is produces so much sound, my neighbors complaints me that please switch off you’re A/C. Sir please advice me what to do.

    I have complaint reagarding service providing by the company to the coustmer. i have wirlpool air condition which is not working properly. i have the whirpool home care plan so that i had complaint in the delhi home care center on 29 june 2009( compaint no-:DL[protected])latestly, Before that day i had complaint on 13 june2009 (compaint no-:DL[protected]) regarding cooling which was not much effective which was not considered for a week. so i had given them so many reminders to the home care centre.after that engineer had a visit at my home. he was said that product will be left to the worksop. the after a week he left the product to the workshop then the product was delivered on 24 june 2009 i.e after 14 days of my compaint date. Then after 2 days the same product was not working at all so i had compaint on 29 june 2009. But till today there is no much reponse from ypur service providers. i had so many reminders on your home care centre.please as soon as poosible do response.

    We are facing problem Whirlpool Aviator A/C From sep. We have loudge a complaint on 25/09/10 in service centre in lko named"PRAYAS Sales &Service" A/C compressor was having fault. first they have told that they don't have the product after doing several times of calls they send the product on 18/10/10 and told that it will repaired & installed whithin the day on 18/10 till the evening but still yet today nothing has done.....Is this is the service of the branded whirlpool company. Kindly take an action on the service centre & please give the help as fast as possible....

    Whirlpool air conditioner — worst repair by whirlpool itself

    I AM VERY-VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH WHIRLPOOL SERVICE.
    I HAVE COMPLAINT 4 TIMES TO THEIR CUSTOMER CARE BUT MY PROBLEM HAS NOT SOLVED AS YET.
    THEIR SERVICE ENGINEER MR. SHOKEEN KHAN HAS EVEN DID FRAUD. HE HADN'T EVEN TOUCH MY AC, AND SEND A OK REPORT TO THEIR DEPARTMENT BY DOING MY FRAUD SIGNATURE.
    I HAD COMPLAINT THIS TO THEIR CUSTOMER CARE EVEN THEN NO ACTION HAD BEEN TAKEN AS YET.
    NO ONE IS CONTACTING ME REGARDING MY COMPLAINT.

    I HAVE GOT MY AC'S PANEL CHANGED BY GIVING THEM RS.3500. AFTER THIS, THE POWER SAVER MODE IS NOT WORKING. AND THIS IS MY COMPLAINT.
    THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE THE ENGINEERS FOR THEIR PRODUCTS. THEY SEND LOCAL AC REPAIR PERSONS AS THEIR ENGINEERS WHO DON'T EVEN KNOW ABC OF YOUR PRODUCT'S OPERATION AND CHARGE RS. 395 AS THEIR VISITING CHARGES.

    Whirlpool — air conditioner

    i had purchased a 1.5 tone split ac from vivek’s showroom, salem, tamilnadu. this air conditioner is really worst, it is not working properly,since this have 4 years of warrenty left, we are suffering a lot and lot because of your company product, 6 times the gas has leaked and the service people has told that compressor was damaged, they changed one time, but they replaced defected piece, and they received amount of rs 2300, then again they changed a new compressor and it worked for 1 month… then again now it is not working,, we are totally upset, we need an new piece or we will take LEGAL ACTIONS through court. . .BY

      We bought a whirlpool refrigerator model no. 8124 almost 4 years ago and it's still in extended warranty period. I made a complaint 45 days ago to dealer, Authorised Service Centre. They didn’t come and, it was our job to keep on reminding them to have a look at the refrigerator and see what’s wrong. Finally we had to refrigerator to the service centre due to their lack to response. They had our refrigerator for the past 45 days and they didn’t bother to repair it and whenever we inquired they kept on postponing to the next week. It’s not yet repaired and we don’t have the patience to wait for another month. So, I request you to make necessary changes in the servicing of refrigerators and show little enthusiasm in repairing our refrigerators.

      You are very right. After sale service of whirlpool is the worst. I am planning to move consumer court against the company. I am also planning to lodge criminal complaints against all top executives as selling the poor quality of product to the innocent customers amounts to fraud and cheating.

        The copy of the complaint I had given to the company is as follows.I waited around 1 month for getting service from the service team. The worst experience ever!!!!!!!.


        Sir,

        My name is Joseph.P.J and I am using two whirlpool products like Sensation Neo fully automatic washing machine and Purafresh DLX water purifier.I have purchased the washing machine on 11/06/2008 ( In the invoice my name is as Joy ;as a christian i have two names) and I was 200% satisfied with the performance of it!!. It is still working without making a complaint. I am proud of that.I was also satisfied with the customer service team in alappuzha that time.That is why When a requirement arise for a water purifer I prefer to buy Purafresh DLX on 15/01/2009 from the Same dealer,goodmorning enterprises( That time it was a new product in the market but because of my confidence on Whirlpool I prefer that).It worked for a month perfectly.The quality of the water was superb!! I was also happy with that. But after one month the problem starts. it tooks around 1hour for getting a glass of water and sound of the machine has been changed. Then I make complaint to the Alappuzha service station. The technician was my neighbour and within one hour he visited my house and cheked the product and said to me that it was a problem of the outside filter and asked me to buy a new filter..I bought a new one by paying money without using my warranty benifits. Then it worked for 2 more days.Then the same problem started. So I made complaint several times by calling the phonenumber[protected]complaint numbers were 7071,7671,,8052 ( I think so))I got telephone from Chennai and Cochin and they told me that our Customer service engineer will visit ur place shortly. But no one came to our place except the technician with the franchisee owner. They replaced one internal filter and other components by using my warranty.Then it started working but the taste of the water has been changed. I again made complaint and they told me that it will take some days to get the water taste u expected. but nothing has happend .It doesnt make any complaint for the last 2 or 3 months.only problem was the taste and the automatic power cut off.Anyway I adjusted with that.
        Last month I got a telephone call from the Alappuzha serviced station that as per the company free check up ;company enginner will visit ur palce and check the product.I took leave from my office and waited for him. But nobody came to my house.

        Day before yesterday It makes complaint again.The product is working and not getting water.I informed the service station and the same technician has visited my house. He tried 3 times and still the complaint persists.Today morning I called 60008558 and registerd a new compaint again .Compaint number was 8287 and they had given me a customer satisfaction code ( code number 965).I informed everything again and asked the customer relation executive to send a new technician whio can solve my problem.He told me that he will refer my complaint to his senior ofiicer and i will get a permenant solution for my compalint. I am waiting for that.

        In my openion the technician coming to my home is not properly trained. He doesnt know anything about the product and the components.
        I suffer a lot because of this problem.I know that the problem is a simple one and with the help of a proper trasined technician I can solve it. But who will help me?
        So pls try ur level best to solve the issue as the earliest

          Sir,
          I, ANKAN ROY, son of Mrs. TAPATI ROY, state that my mother Mrs. TAPATI ROY had purchased a whirlpool 20 ltrs. magicook microwave oven on 27/08/2009. It’s turntable motor was found to be not working. A complaint has been made to whirlpool customer care number. The compliant no. is KL[protected]. A service person had come after that but with a old motor, when we told him that he supposed to replace bad one with an new motor, he told that he will come only when he gets a new one. From that time it’s more than two months no one came. Even after repeated calling to customer care also nobody has to replace it. Our microwave oven is kept unused till today.
          This is a situation we have never expected from a reputed company like whirlpool.
          We being customer only expect the justice to our hard earning money that’s all.

            I had bought a Whirlpool refrigerator from Viveks in Koramangala (Bangalore) on 4-Dec-04. It is ‘450 Litres Ice Magic’ model.

            The repairs done on this refrigerator in chronological order is follows:

              why you people are promising so much when you can not solve minor problem like this?any ways,you are going to loose one custmor if you are no t solving my problem and failed to send my starer kit.in fact i will never buy anything from homeshop18,

              hi its not the problem with homeshop 18. But the problem is with whirlppol. Even I bought a refrigator and along with i came the microwave. But there was nothing with the microwave. No starter kit or the user manual. I spoke to n number of people from whirlpool customer care and also from the Chrome from where i purchased it. Nothing happened and number or mails to customer care of whirlpool also where of no help. It really sucks Whirlpool.
              you didn't give me any recipe book to prepare food in whirlpool magicook 20g elec. so kindly post us a book contains pecipe of few dishes that help us to cook.

                I have entered into a Annual Maintenance Contract (including spares) for two years with the TVS Whirlpool Authorized service center and I have paid Rs.1689. I have lodged a complaint on 14.11.2009 complaining of mal functioning of the machine. Thereafter we followed up everyday with them but till the time of submtting this complaint nobody has turned up for attending the machine. This kind of lapse on the service front should be viewed seriously

                I am Mrs. Arundhati Rajesh Desai purchased the washing machine of whirlpool in thought that very good product & services you are providing. I purchased the machine on 16/2/2011 from well known brand like sumaria thane. Within 10days the machine got fault of heater in which the complaint is attended by the company after 4days in that also they are not having that particular part with them. so after completion of 15 days with bad service from your end you giving us part replacement. In that also when 2nd time when your person came he was not remove the water from the machine & it remains as it is in the machine. It gives bad smell in my house. When we complaint again he(Mr. vinod sharma) came & did it then. Now today on 9/7/2011 again the same problem came. Now I fed by your product as it is already taken 1 -1.5 months for repairing only. Very poor service you are providing. & if you aware about product problem then why are not stopping the production of same. As this time i want the replacement of the product otherwise I will publish in newspaper & submit the same complaint in consumer court. As I have same complaint in my mother-in-law's machine that means this products is default product. Revert back me ASAP. my contact no.[protected]

                  Dear Sir / Madam,


                  This has reference to my very recent purchase of Whirlpool 260 litres Fusion New Royale Silver stribes (Serial No. INC[protected] from Sunny Sales at Ankleshwar (Phone no.[protected]. I write this mail to lodge a compliant on the performance and quality of the fridge sold to my by Whirlpool.

                  My previous expeience with Godrej piece was quite good and I did not encounter any single service requirement during its 9 year operation since year 2000.

                  I was basically looking for a more spacier fridge to replace my Godrej frost free 200 lit double door. I was looking for a premium product which satisfies my need for more refrigerator space with higher overall volume too. I zeroed in on the Whirlpool Fusion royale and I assessed it to be a premium category going by your advertisements positioning as well as the pricing which was a clear Rs 2000/ more than the price of competetive products.

                  However, I am sorry to say I am extremely disappointed with your product on the following two parameters:
                  1. I am not being able to use the chiller tray for storing milk as invariably the milk freezes making the morning process of boiling milk troublesome for my wife. I feel there is something basically wrong with your design as in whatever mode (High / medium / low) the milk sachet ends up getting frozen. We have to stop using the chiller tray for storing milk to manage the situation. I am not sure whether it is your technology lacuna or somethig wrong with the piece I have been delivered with.
                  2. The second big issue is on the "Cheapness" or rather low quality flimsy construction of your partitions / container holders / ice cube trays. I am surprised that a company like Whirlpool can stoop so low in quality to save few bucks and it looks like your choice could be like being "Penny Wise and Pound Foolish". An refrigerator being used in Indian kitchen should be rugged enough to last for say 10 years of its usage. However, going by your flimsy compromised quality (as I see it) it does not give me confidence that it will last long as the internals as well as the structure does not seem to be built for the weight of the containers it is designed to carry for the fridge of this bigger size. My previous smaller Godrej fridge scores over on this front many times over.

                  I request Whirlpool to look in to the above issues and give a solution which will make me feel assured that I have not made a wrong choice.

                  Looking forward to your response and resolution of my above problems .

                  On 06/11/2010 I have procure one Whirlpool make refrigerator in Tamparam Amudha & Co. When delivery at home on 08/11/2010, it seems damaged piece and without any gift box. Immediately went to Amudha @ co shop and told about the refrigerator status. They asked me to log a complaint in whirlpool company. I log a complaint with customer satisfaction code:403 & SR number CN[protected].One service Engineer came and checked the refrigerator and told that the new damaged piece may be changed within 12/11/2010 Friday without fail.                     I wish to complaint regart to the servie provided by the Whirlpool company(Chennai). from 10 days my washing machine is not working and i am facing lot of problem and i have called them many time in this no : [protected] no action take till date and no one is responding as well.                     Such worst service I ever faced............do not buy whirlpool.

                      Whirlpool Refrigerator — Problem in refridgerator not rectified

                      I have purchased a Whirlpool 250 Lit double door refridgerator in Nov 2005.
                      It started giving problem in Feb 2009. There is no proper cooling.
                      Since then, I have been calling Whirlpool customer service and paid three three times for the same problem, but it is not rectfied. Following are the details:

                      1. Complaint No. DL [protected] dated 28 Feb 2009
                      The first Whirlpool mechanic (Name Md Haroon) identified the problem as gas choke and filled the gas & changed some parts and charged me Rs. 1780/-

                      2. Complaint No. DL [protected] dated 28 Apr 2009
                      This time, another mechanic (Name Mr. Ajay) visited informed that gas filled was more than necessary and he released some quantity of gas. I was charged Rs 280/-

                      3. Complaint No. DL [protected] dated 18 May 2009
                      The same mechanic (Mr. Ajay) visited and informed the gas inside teh refridgerator coil is still more and he released some quantity of gas.

                      4. DL [protected] dated 20 Jun 2009
                      This time a third mechanic (Name Mr. Sunil) visited and informed that the gas is less and he refilled some gas. I was chared Rs 280/-.

                      But, after two days of running, it again not cooling properly.
                      Not only I have been suffering with the product, a lot of food, raw meat, fish etc. have been wasted because of this problem.

                      First of all, their mechanic is not able to rectify it and secondly they are charging me unnecessarily for problems either not rectified and/ or created by them.

                      I look forward for a solution from Consumer forum.

                        Dear Sir,

                        I have purchased Whirlpool Washing machine Model No. 650s booked on 11.10.09 from Patel & Co, Anand, Gujarat - . 388001

                        The Item received on 31.10.09 against challan no. 958 dtd 31.10.09 and invoice no. 129 dtd 31.10.09 of amount Rs. 14,300/- (Rs. Fourteen Thousand Three Hundred Only) and the payment has been made in cash. But the scratch coupon against Diwali Offer not sent by dealer. I have made so many telephonic conversations, but no effect was shown to deliver the same. The dealer told that the coupon was scratched, and I have to receive the Rebok watch, but I am not agree to accept the coupon which is already scratched by dealer/distributor. He has no coupon to deliver.

                        A letter through fax (No.[protected] has also sent to Corporate Office, they are trying to bypass me to another way. So many conversation were made, but I did not get any solution from anybody till now.

                        Moreover, the dealer has also assured for three year warranty, till now he did not give the warranty card.

                          Dear Whirlpool,
                          1. I am a serving officer of the Indian Defence Forces and I wanted to purchase a Whirlpool refrigerator through the Canteen Stores Department from one of your authorised dealers in the city of Barmer (Rajasthan).
                          2. As per the procedure I took a supply order from CSD Depot, Bikaner by paying Rs.19184 through a Demand draft for whirlpool Professional elite 310 litres model. I submitted the purchase order to the dealer M/S AK Chopra Electronics on 18 Sep 2009.
                          3. Before submitting the supply order itself, the dealer had confirmed that the refrigerator would be delivered within a week in the colour 'Carbon Black' as requested by me.
                          4. However, after waiting for 19 days, on 08 oct 2009, the dealer informed me that the refrigerator had arrived; but in the colour 'Titanium Grey' and not 'Carbon Black' as requested by me and as promised by the dealer.
                          5. On query, the dealer Mr, AK Chopra, replied that he was unable to get the refrigerator in 'Carbon Black' colour due to festival rush and asked me to contact Mr. Ankit at Jaipur CSD depot who on phone assured that he would get me the required 'Carbon Black' colour if I was willing to wait for 15-20 days. I agreed promptly and did not take delivery of the product.
                          6. But, even after repeated attempts to contact them and nearly a wait of 60 days I am yet to receive the product as desired by me.
                          7. I regret to inform you that I am deeply pained by this careless attitude of both Whirlpool, who claim to be the World's No.1 home appliance maker. as well as their authorised dealer towards their customers.
                          8. This is a sincere request from one of your customers to Whirlpool India to intervene immediately and solve my problem at the earliest.

                            company has to responsibility against consumers complaint. during the warranty period company must take care of its product. other wise no body will prefer that company. and consumer must feel happy to buy some body's product.
                            if warranty is given by company.why should the customer suffer?. if company does not take responsibility consumer may contact forum for claim new one.

                              We have given 4 years Annual contract for the Split AC. There has been a heavy water leakage flooding the room, from the Split AC for past 1 month. We gave complaint on whirlpool tel no.[protected] on November 2nd, compaint no. 634.

                              Sairam Refriegerations are supposed to attend. They have been saying Mr Thangam will attend to it. But so far no one has turned up. 12 days have passed. Earlier the same Mr Thangam did attend to this problem (complaint no. 676 on Oct 24/10/2009), but it did not even last for a week! The AC started leaking again. We have not been using the split AC in peace for the last 1 month.

                                i purchased whirpool fully automatic washing machine 3 years ago. it was under warranty for 2 years and i took extended warranty by paying Rs.3500/-. i booked a complaint two months back. the service technician had come and checked the complaint. and informed me that the wash motor needs to be replaced. but after wards no response from the company. several times i contacted the customer care division but no use. every time they give false assurance that will repair it. i hope whirpool company is not a dependable one. they are least bothered of consumer satisfaction. one should noy buy such companys products. actually they cheat their customers. This will be a message to every one.
                                hence forth i will not suggest any one to buy whirpool products

                                whirlpool washing m/c — not attending complaint

                                An automatic washing Machine was purchased in the name of Mr A. Pushpanathan( on[protected] at Villupuram which has been installed by whirlpool Engineer/ Mechanic by October 2009 and the M/C was working well till 17/04/10. On[protected], when we switched on the machine , it was found that no lights in the panel board were glowing and m/c was not getting on. In this regard , a complaint was registered with customer care vide no 40364. Against this complaint no body attended the problem and when we enquired about this complaint with customer care , we were informed that that complaint was closed and new complaint has been registered vide no 56292. on 24/04/2010. Against this complaint / regn no also no body has attended till date. The machine is under warranty period. Contaced customer care many times but no solution.

                                Whirlpool/ Washing Machine — Not attending Complaints

                                The services against complaints are pathetic in Allahabad service centre in particular and Whirlpool in general. Four times complaints have been got registered with customer care ( Complaint nos LK[protected] dt 13/10, LK [protected] dt 15/10, LK[protected] dt 18/10, LK/[protected] dt 23/10) there has been no response from the service centre. Every time the complaint is repeated a new complaint no is provided. Behavior of customer care officials is highly irresponsible. The firm just does not bother although the machine is under two years maintenance contract. Never buy a Whirlpool product if want to get a good service.
                                I purchased whirlpool washing Machine no. 650 h on9/3/2011 through M/s. Ambica Electronics, Chhani Road, Vadodara (Gujarat). This machine is under warranty period.

                                This machine has got out of order on 22/11/12. Immediately on the same day I registered a complain. Details are as follows:
                                Complain no. AH [protected]. I was assured on phone that complain shall be attend in 24 hrs.
                                I am sorry to say that no body has attended the complain till 25/11/12. I approached your Sales Manager Mr. Avnish (cell no. [protected]) telephonically on 25/11/12. He assured me to callback within 20 min. Even after waiting for 4 hrs. There was no call from him. When I asked him he told me that person has visited the site & part is to be replaced. I am sorry to say that it was lie statement. I was very much at home throughout the day. Again I asked that who has given this inf. of visiting my home?. He gave name of Mr. Firoz.
                                Again I contacted Mr. Firoz (cell no. [protected]). He instead of giving my answer he told me that person may attend your complain on 26/11/12, as they have got system to visit once in a week to my area.
                                Now should we expect such untruth reply & wag answers service from you? When I talked to Mr. Firoz, he even told me that you may approach highest authorities of Whirlpool. We do not care.
                                Now question comes about credibility of Whirlpool. Being in the capacity of Dy. Gen Manager of PSU like GSFC & attached with Co-Op. soc. of GSFC, should we start procedure to black list Whirlpool appliances to our customer?
                                I expect that today by all means fault of my machine should rectify & send me feed back with supportive evidence to overcome this issue.
                                Pl. note that I am also an active member of "Grahak Suraksha Samiti". I am sure you may not like to highlight case in public forum.

The complaint has being subsequently attended by their service person (Mr. BalaMurugan) of SAIRAM REFRIGERATION – Authorised Service Partner, Nandanam, Chennai on 18th Jan 2009 and service charges of Rs 280/- and with the replacement of Top & Bottom End Cap of door of Rs.400/- were paid. And then, after few days the same has been broken again, so again I am booked a complaint immediately, again the same service person was came and replaced the same on without charges, after few months the same has been broken again, so again I am booked a complaint on Sep 2009, again the same service partner- SAIRAM REFRIGERATION person was came on 30th Sep 2009 and replaced the same Top & Bottom End Cap of door of Rs.900/-(with Service Charges), again a few days the same has been broken, so again I am booked a complaint immediately, the same service person was came and replaced the same on without charges, But now again the same was broken with in 35 days, so I have booked a complaint for the same again on 11th Nov 2009, the same company service person called to my father on 12th Nov 2009, my father tells that the same problem happened again and again, so kindly replaced the same on WITHOUT CHARGES for defected 6th time, but he was not respond properly, so we are really upset… their recurred and their service provider has proved to be most incompetent and unresponsive, failing which I will be complained to get rid of my Whirlpool fridge and AC and recommend negatively about whirlpool products in various forums including friends and family. It’s Hoped that whirlpool values its customers enough to attend positively to this complaint and also promised that, in future this will not repeated again…

                                    COMPLAINT REGARDING WASHING MACHINE.

                                    I have purchased a fully automatic Whirlpool washing machine Model WM – FS60DLX on 19.08.2007 from M/s. Bismi, Ernakulam. There was a complaint to the machine during August 2008 and it has been repaired by M/s. Jiss Engineers, Thalayolaparambu, Vaikom, Kottayam (Ph. [protected], [protected]) who are the authorized Service engineers for Whirlpool Washing Machines.

                                    Two months back just after seven days of warranty period, the machine has stopped functioning and M/s. Jiss Engineers have repaired the same on 04.09.2009 and charged Rs. 3500/- as the cost of the motherboard they have replaced. Within one week the machine stopped functioning and one week after reporting, they have repaired the machine. Again within a week the machine stopped functioning. For the last four weeks the machine is not functioning. Even though I have taken up the matter with M/s. Jiss Engineers several times, they have not yet solved the problem.

                                    I have taken up the matter with Mr. Siraj of your Ernakulam Office (Cochin) in his phone number[protected] on 26.10.2009 and he assured me that my washing machine would be repaired within a day. On 30.10.2009 I have contacted Mr. Siraj again and he has informed me that he shall contact me within half an hour but not contacted. After one hour I rang up three times and all the times I was not able to talk to him and Mr. Robin who has attended the phone informed me that Mr.Siraj is busy with another customer. He has not called me back.

                                    On 29.10.2009 I have contacted your Service Department through the toll free number [protected] and they have informed me that M/s. Jiss Engineers has not registered the complaint in the portal till date. They have registered a fresh complaint and given me a complaint number 12004.

                                    On 30.10.2009, I have contacted Your Service Engineers on Ph. [protected]. They have properly attended my call. Subsequently I have received a call from Ph. [protected] (Kannur) and the caller assured me that he would do the neeful. As the complaint has not yet been solved, I have called back to the number Ph. [protected] (Kannur) on 03.11.2009, the response was to contact some other person in Kochi Service center.


                                    All the above are for getting repaired a two-year-old Whirlpool Washing Machine after spending Rs. 3500/- within two years. For the last two months, the washing machine is not properly functioning and for the last one month, it is not at all working.


                                    The Washing Machine is a defective piece and the service provided by your people is far from satisfaction. I find it as a Herculean task to get it repaired from your people. Hence I request you to replace my defective Washing Machine with a brand new one at your cost.

                                    If my grievance is not resolved within a week’s time, please be aware that, you are forcing me for taking further steps.

                                    why dont you buy the product from any local dealer other than going till bismi ernakulam from vaikom. you will loose your time money and now not even able to get the service as you are not getting the dealers attention.
                                    Always buy from any local dealer so that they will be helpful when u need some service or help.
                                    Don't buy anything from Bismi, I had a very bad experience. I bought a sony cybershot camera from bismi in august 2010. As the quality of the images were not really up to the mark, i decided to change it to a higher sony model. They keep advertising that they will exchange and I went for an exchange to bismi, the price of the same model is around INR 5400/- the exchange value i was offered is INR 1000/-, The camera is hardly 10 months old and has a 3 year warranty from Sony. I took the camera to Fridehouse in Kadavanthara and got it exchanged for a nikon coolpix and they offered an exchange value of INR 2000/- eventhough I had not purchased the same from them. Hence request to the public is don't waste your money at Bismi!!!

                                      I CONTACTED AT AHMEDAVAD OFFICE AND PROBLEM GOT RESOLVED.

                                      I WOULD LIKE TO ASK YOU THAT IN A WARRANTY PERIOD ,I HAVE TO CONTACT

                                      TO LOCAL SERVICE STATION IN MY CITY OR DEALER FROM WHERE I PURCHASED

                                      WHO WILL PAY ME ?

                                      IT IS TOTALLY UNFAIR PROCEDURE FOR LODGING COMPLAINT FOR WHIRLPOOL APPLIANCES.

                                      WHAT IS THE USE OF LOCAL SERVICE STATION ?

                                      PLEASE REPLY ME IMMIDIATELY AND SENT ME RS.25 AS MY MOBILE CHARGES FOR

                                      i bought whirlpool refrigerator on[protected] from Harsha, Mangalore.
                                      on[protected] my refrigeratorwas repaired by authorised service agents, SAI KIRAN SERVICES
                                      FOR Rs 1880. the amt paid was for gas filling, drier, inspection charges etc.
                                      today, a year has not yet lapsed, i'm encounterin the same problem again.
                                      no cooling.

                                      on calling the agents, they have told me that gas filling guarantee is for six months & i will have to pay again.
                                      is this justice?
                                      i have purchased one 310 ltr refrigerator elite model from BETTER DEALS on 24.10.10 wide bill no.888 but today when your engineer came to give us the demo i found a big dump on one side of the refrigerator and as per his words i got the new one from the company and it will take a max.a week as you are aware that the diwali is on head and if i got the new one after the diwali so it is of no use so kindly send me the new one in a day or two, other wise i want my money back. kindly look into this matter as urgent and revert back to me at the earlierst

                                        Hi ,

                                        I am nishant thakur from kolkata.I purchased a washing machine from hiland park ,big bazar on 15th october 2009.They haven't delivered the WhirlPool/Washing Machine on expected date and i faced lot of problems because of that.When they delivered the washing machine on 8th november ,it was bent from one side .It was realy a problem ,as my parents were only india .They had faced problems like sending bills to fax and all that.Still things are under water.Please help me as i am not in india.
