Hi,

Its been almost 3 weeks since i asked ACT team to cancel my subscription and refund the amount my registered mobile is [protected]
everytime i call customer care they give me information like ticket is raised and u will get refund but nothing has happened so far
to get the connection they took the payment in one day without properly notifying me about difficulties of installation in my area canara bank colony, nagharabhavi, bangalore 560072
and when ask them about that they keep on giving me stories
i mean what is this

    This message is to raise a complaint against the broadband connectivity for which we are subscribed to act.

    We have shifted to a new place and we have been registering a complaint to get the broadband connectivity at the new place but no one from act is bothered to take care of this complaint.
    Also we have already paid the bills for this month in good faith. Please deliver this message to act customer care and let them know how unproffesional they are.

      Since june 8th, i have been trying to contact act via email, customer care helpline ([protected], [protected], [protected]), chat, app, etc.
      There had been no response for over 20 days. Their chat doesn't work. Their app does not address the issue. Trying the helpline number and it is always busy and does not connect or puts me on hold for 20 + mins before any one answers.
      I initially asked for details about how to use the netflix service that they billed me for. To which there was no information given by call or email. After roughly 20 days (In which there were three days of no internet and no explanation), i got someone on the phone after having tried getting through to an executive and staying on hold for 20 plus minutes. At that point i wanted both my connections cancelled. I have since been getting calls about customer care feedback but no resolution to the actual cancellation issue. I was told by the nodal office that i will receive a call about the refund details (Since i had paid in june for 6 months of service) after the 30th, as it is the date for deactivation. I have still not received an sms, email or any kind of confirmation about the amount or processing of refund. I tried calling the helpline today as well. I was put on hold again in excess of 15 minutes before i got to talk to someone. I was told that only one account has been deactivated and was then about to be transferred to the cancellation department, when the phone was cut. After a cut call, an sms was sent to my registered number asking me to download the app to register a complaint. Once again, the app is useless unless you are checking usage or registering a connectivity complaint. There was no call back even though they had my number to check the status of the connections registered to it. I called back again and same drill all over. Put on hold for 20 mins... Someone answers... Transfers call to the cancellation department... Phone gets cut... Sms to dowload app... No call back. I have had multiple calls from their nodal offices and have had to explain the situation and reasons for cancellations over 6-7 times in detail to 6-7 different people over the last couple of weeks. The amount for both connections put together plus the netflix usage they charged me for without giving any further details is around 14k. Atleast 10-12 "tickets" have been registered and closed over the last 15 days without any kind of information or call back. My account numbers are[protected],[protected]

      It has been 10 days since both the accounts were supposed to be disconnected. Still no call/sms/email about the status and amount of refund.
      My parents moved from there current home.. we are trying to disconenct ACT as they are not going to stay there . They have moved with us .. we are still not able to disconnect the ACT

        I am a loyal customer of act since 4 years and i have been facing the connectivity issues since 6 months very frequently like 5 cases in a month and it requires 2 days to get resolved.
        Over and above that they have a very worst customer service department they don’t respond properly and if you try calling nodal officer you should spend a time of 1 hour to reach them and suddenly calls get disconnected. They give false promises to the customers this is one of the worst services i have ever seen.
        They take hell lot of money saying that they provide good service and they don’t provide good service you pay for 30 days and get service for only 20 days it’s a utter loss for customers.
        Please take proper action against this.

          I contacted the act fiber customer care for connection shift from moosapet to kukatpally on[protected], till date there is no response from the act, so i went to act office at kphb road no 1 and raise a compliant and they have given me the team leader number and i spoke with him he promised me that today evening i will send the executive, but none of them came and i have been trying to contact the team leader for kukatpally since morning he is not picking my call.

            I have applied for act internet connection at cv raman nagar bangalore and paid installation fee and 1 month broad band charge on 3rd june 2019. Installation team visited the place after one week and told me junction box is not there and they went back. Another team came after a week again and asked me whether they can take power from my socket to power their junction box. I told owner won't allow that and find some other way or let me know if it can't be done. Afrer that there was no communication from act even after repeated emails to customer care.
            Worst customer care service.

            As of now no broadband connection,
            No communication at all,
            And no refund.

            I have the same issue. They took payment of Rs. 3481 on Jun 14th. They failed to provide the connection after repeated false promises. Now their automated and cut-and-paste email keeps saying 15 days to resolve the issue.

              disconnection of my act broadband

              I raised ticket for relocation, but there is no service for new connection act team raised new ticket for disconnection, but it's been almost 10 days nobody has tried to reach me for disconnection.               I had recharged almost 6.5k for 6mths with 1 month free usage. The internet was most often not working and i had raised ticket more than 6-7 times. I emailed to their helpdesk and have been following up with them since 1 month and i haven't received any update on the refund. I called up to customer service, they asked me to drop an email to their refund team, but vain. I am not sure on the amount that will be refunded to me. I have not received any confirmation from the team.

              Waste of my money and time. No timely response to customer and the internet speed is low in my location.

                Hi,
                I raised request for shifting broadband connection on 5th may 2019, but it is not finished after daily follow up. I raised request for disconnection on 18th may, they said our finance guy will call you for full and final settlement. It 1st july still i haven't receive any response from this guy.

                As I have already paid for monthly bill but you people are contacting me to pay bill for the other 12 days which I don’t need. So it is your responsibility to disconnect the connection after the 1st . Instead of doing that you started asking to pay the bill for 12 days and it is not correct.

                  I have taken new connection from act broadband service provider on 25th jun 2019, the engineer came and connected the cable it was not worked and they said they will come tomorrow and check, i am continuiely followup with the engineer, they were very least bother about to take the calls and update, the sales executive who came to validate and collect the 1st payment he is very careless guy, i never come across such a guys, he never picked my call & after collecting money they are sending sms that they are busy. I have logged a complaint in act helpdesk, they are also very pathetic, the ivr says all executives are busy, at-least we need to wait 10 mins on the call, even after connecting and talking to them is useless, it is waste of time calling act helpdesk, once i asked them to cancel my connection request and return my money they just disconnected the call. My compliant is still open.

                  Please suggest how to get my money back from them.

                    I am act user took my connection on october 2018 i was informed that for 3months you won't have to pay. But i had to pay for december as i was getting calls from the customer support daily in my office hours i said disconnect my connection they did but after getting connection disconnect i had to pay for the disconnect month bill too. So i changed my plan from rs1349 gst included to 800 included gst. Now i get 100gb data for a month and speed is 15mbps but for the month of june i haven't received the data so i tried contacting customer service but call was not connected there is a option to choose your language if you choose hindi or english a kanada speaking person will pick the call. So some how i managed to raise a complain stating that i haven't received any data for the month and my speed is 512kbps now they said that was added to your account and my ticket was closed again i reopened the ticket again i got closed so i choosed now to spoil my everyday and adjusted for the month after paying the bill. Now it's 1st of july 2019 were i should get 100gb of my data but it's still 0gb left of 100gb. What should i do if choose not to pay they will threaten me that legal actions will be taken against me i don't want to pay just for free it's my hard earned money. It's impossible for anyone to finish the data of 100gb at a speed of 512kbps as my account is 0gb left of 100gb. Screenshot is attached please find and help me out.                       Hi

                      I have opted for installation of 'act storm entertainment' package from act fibernet service on[protected] and paid rs.8206 for 6 months plan upfront.
                      These guys took 3 to 4 days for installation after frequent follow-ups. I have used my own router for installation.

                      After installation they have restricted the usage of internet with single user login; which means you can connect only 1 device at a time. I called customer care and raised complaint regarding this[protected] sr[protected]. They have mentioned they will help with router configuration to make it auto login; act technical team will call and guide you for the same. Even after consistent follow up with them they didn't turn up.

                      I have escalated this to there nodal officer and appellate officer. But still there is no response. Finally i have decided to disconnect the service.
                      Raised complaint for the same sr[protected] disconnection request on[protected] and requested for refund of the same.

                      Following are the issues i have faced after opting for this connection:
                      1) need to login every 10 mins to get access for internet on single device.
                      2) it doesn't help connecting to multiple devices.
                      3) act mobile app doesn't allow to raise complaint on general issues; it allows to select only pre-defined issues to be addressed.
                      4) customer support over phone need to wait for minimum 15 minutes to get customer support executive on call. (New/existing connection [protected]/[protected]/helpdesk. [protected]@actcorp.in).
                      5) support team doesn't have curtsey to prioritize complaints or issues even after repeated follow ups.
                      6) helpdesk. [protected]@actcorp.in mail id doesn't even respond.

                      Current status i am waiting for disconnection to complete and refund of entire amount paid (Rs.8206).

                      I am raising this complaint because there support team not responding over call, emails etc. I am still struggling with there network for frequent disconnect. Just wanted my money back and disconnection to be done immediately.

                        Act fibernet service is such a worst internet service provider i have ever come across. For past 3 weeks internet does not even work and there customer service is so #, they wont even respond to the calls. Everytime when i call just have to listen in for 15 minutes of their non sense automated calls and once they connect to customer care person, they disconnect automatically.
                        Internet sucks so much with poor speed and even after multiple complaints it does not get fixed. My initially plan is 100mbps line with 400 gb data per month...

                        Previously i had asked customer service guy why it took so long to fix the issue, the reason they gave is such a worst excuse, that because of high number of calls/issue - they could not fix the issue in time. And they don't even care about the customer importance.

                        Such a worst internet service provider in our country.

                          To whom so ever concerned.

                          28th of june we had a internet disconnection at my residence, we raised a complaint (Ticket number - sr[protected]. Again at night had called to customer care, the executive from customer care intimated that the disconnection is physical in nature. Hence it could only be resolved on next day morning. 29th june i was expecting a executive to arrive and have it fixed. I had a important official meeting to be attended at 10:00am of 29th june, when i was about to start from home, the executive called and informed that he was on his way to my residence to have the issue addressed. All the way i had to postpone the meeting and was waiting for the executive to arrive until 10:30 am. He never turned up, on calling back to him. The executive is informing me that he is very near by to my location and he has sorted out the issue through his tab.

                          My query, why did the executive from customer care inform that it was physical disconnection when the issue was resolved over tab.
                          If the executive could resolve issue over tab, why was it not addressed last night and why the hell he informed me to stay back at home... It was literally a important meeting.
                          Why the hell i am paying such premium price for you'll to have the internet...in return i had to miss all my meetings from last night...

                          This kind of disconnection is repetitive at-least 3 to 4 times on every month...
                          And you'll neither compensate it billing

                          When you to penalize for delayed payment, you should also be aware to prorate the bill as per you dis-connectivity.

                          I need my current month bill to be prorated for past 5 months dis connectivity.

                            Hi, we need internet connection immediately so we went with act and paid full amount. Representative told us that the account will be active in 2 days. Its been 5 days till now installation is not completed. They just completed wiring and went away. Till now no one is coming to complete the installation and if we try to reach the representative his phone is off and if we try to reach customer care it is always busy and we can't reach thru customer care. Worst service. I need the connection to be active immediately. Please do the needful.

                              Okay, the thing is i'am running out of fup from past 2 months and i've never experienced this before and then i have started observing my data usage in the app which displayed 2.57 gb data left at 28th june 11:30 and immediately went to bed and i'm sure no other device is connected and woke up to see 0 gb left and this happened with my friend as well and i change passwords regularly, and earlier i could see all data usage with minute to minute, now they removed that option... This is total fraud.

                                Internet service got stopped since 24th jun 2019, no update even i spoken to customer care several times.

                                Customer care is big useless, untrained, brainless people are there. Whatever the issue they just say with in 24hrs it will be resolved but never done.

                                Fed up with their responses and careless answers. I paid for 1 year subscription in may 2019 and now i would like to take my money back.

                                Useless service.

                                  I have requested for new connection for my house in Narayanasamy Nagar, coimbatore.
                                  I have paid Rs. 4595. After that no one contacted me about the connection. Even if i call the service engineer there was no response. When i tried calling the customer care they just disconnected the call multiple times in-between when i was explaining the issue. And if again try calling customer care they are giving excuses like network issue and asking me to explain the problem again.

                                  Finally i asked them to cancel the new connection request and to reimburse the amount. No reply so far. Not able to contact customer care. When i tried contacting them in mail they just closed the ticket without any response.

                                    It is highly impossible to reach acts customer care and nodal officer number is a big waste. Automated machines give the same answer and customer care show busy for very long time (Out of customer patience limit) calls get auto
                                    Disconnected. No courtesy to give call back and understand customer problem.

                                    Even after disconnection request they raise bill and just want money.
                                    Hopeless customer care, the amount of effort put in payment recovery is
                                    Excellent, but zero effort in understanding customer issues and just want money. Horrible service.
                                    No internet connection from last 3 days and tried to call customer care n number of times ..everyone not able to connect and waiting in call 30 mins..even not responded for complaint. Pathetic service now a days.

                                      Facing connectivity issues ever since i moved to my new house. It is near sarjapur road, central jail road. Every time, they are closing the issue as resolved without actually resolving it. I have called and raised complaint through app multiple times. But no action have been taken. The customer care operator said there is a problem in their fiber, then why is not getting fixed. Earlier they said there is a problem in my router, so i changed and wasted 1.5k on a new router even though my old router was fine. Disgusting behaviour, getting connection from another operator now.
                                      customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
