I got a new Oneplus 3 mobile from Amazon. As per the Airtel offer on Amazon e-commerce website there was a 15GB free data bundle offer with this phone for Airtel customers.
The phone was purchased on 6th Oct 2016 and the data bundle offer was not provided. In spite of regular follow up with the Nodal and Appellate teams the data was not provided into my prepaid account.

    I have port into airtel network on 30 June 2016, it provided very cheap services as pertaining to network issues, no assistance from the customer care executive,
    When I requested to port out on 30 September 2016, they denied my request saying I have not completed 90 days... even though I have completed 90 days (30 June - 30 sep). The said that I have activated my sim on 12 of July 2016.
    Today's again I have made a request i.e. on 15 octomber 2016. The request for port out has been canceled by airtel saying again the same reason that " I have not completed 90 days. You sim was activated on 18 July".
    Airtel senior executive NILAM, (Mumbai, malad) said this so.!!
    First I was told that I have activated simply on 12 Jun now they are telling that, I was been activated on 18 June. Airtel executive is jus telling lie..and not letting me to port out from airtel network.

    Still Airtel service executives are giving silly execuses, and ther are not keeping their database updated and making us suffer. As i have known well airtell network is the wors network of all... Jio network gives better network coverage than airtel...

    Airtel is doing Fake advertisements reguarding their network quality and reliablity... the worst Networs is Airtel..!!!

        Dear airtel team,

        Good day!
        As seen from the below email and for the past one month i have been getting calls from one of your call centres every alternative day regarding plans. Once i accept one offer the very next day someone else calls from your call centre asking me to move to a higher plan which is marginally costlier by approx 100 rs for 10 or 20 extra gb who has no idea about the plan which was confirmed by me the previous day. As you can see from your database my plan is the same for the past half a year ie 8gb/2ms. However one thing interesting among these calls is the inability of the call centre person to send an email confirming the same plan. The service number they send is of no use. I suppose airtel has become such a big company that it can no more listen/respect its loyal customer (I am sure you can verify the same from your database). I am well past requesting / waiting so i kindly request your esteemed company to do one of the following :-

        1) move me to 60 gb/unlimited - 4 mb/512 kb : which was last promised to me.
        2) in case the above is not possible:email me the postpaid amount pending along with the termination application.

        I also request you to only email and not call me regarding the above requests as i have learnt from the previous one month that a phone call with your esteemed company is of no use

            I have applied for Airtel Broadband connection in bangalore 560037 area on 28-Sep-2016, I have submitted the required documents and also made the online payment of activation fee of 1000/-. (Application Number - TBLR7183311, Transaction Reference Number - [protected], Bank - ICICI Bank, Date - 28-Sep-2016). Even after continuous follow up, no positive response from airtel. Some day they say Technician will come tomorrow and install, and some day they say no data available and some day connection not feasible. I do not understand what's happening. I just got frustrated with their responses and demand for refund of activation fees. For refund also they are least interested and no one is ready to take up the refund request. Feeling very helpless on this. I am giving a try if this forum can help me get refund of activation fee of 1000/-. I will make sure that I never consider airtel for anything and even in my circle.

                I thought its a problem of SIM slot but no i have checked.
                It showing no signal as it showing cross mark .

                If this number does not get any signal it will be very difficult for me to change the number.This is my permanent number and if there is no signal then how can i contact with company representatives. I hope u understand my problem.

                    I(Kavirajan P [protected]) have been a loyal customer to Airtel since 2005, last Thursday(6th October 2016) I had lost my sim, my sim is registered with my uncle's name, unfortunately he is in abroad now. Am unable to get a new sim with same number since he is present in abroad.
                    it’s been around 10 days still my mobile is in switched off mode. i have lot dependencies with this number as mentioned below.
                    1. All my banking transaction are mapped to this number (Consists of 3 banks)
                    2. All OTP online transactions are mapped the same number
                    3. All my friends and relatives have this number for almost 10 years.
                    4. Am using this number for both professional and personal purposes.
                    5. All verification and personal queries of mine are addressed in this number.

                    Hence please request you to provide me a SOLUTION to have my Airtel number ([protected]) back ASAP
                    Note:
                    1. I have my uncle’s photo and address proof with me
                    2. He is in abroad hence he cannot come in person to show room

                        I did port 2 nos from Idea to airtel on 14/10/2016. The Plan I have offer Rs.199 with Local+std 600 min, but after getting port when I called customer care they said its 500 min not 600min. Regarding port I got a call from [protected] this no. to port into airtel and he offered me 600 min in 199 plan.

                        Same thing had happened with me from idea previously, tele callers are making false commitments just to sale product and after porting air tel customer care said they cant do anything now.

                            I have a prepaid number [protected] and had Internet pack with autorenewal for which I got a message on 11th that it would be done in 3 days.I stopped the autorenewal on 13th by sending a mail and making a call as per the requirement and I got a recorded message that it has been processed and done. On 14th I got a message that the money has been deducted and recharge has been done. Sad to see the way airtel treats its old customers who still have stayed loyal till now.

                              My name is Ashish Chaturvedi and I have airtel postpaid mobile number is [protected]. Last month I was travelling through countries such as UAE, Germany, and Sweden. In this month billing cycle I see a Rs.3, 999 pack applied to my bill amount but I never raised any request for any international roaming pack.

                              I am informed by the call center executive that there record shows that I requested to activate a international roaming pack around 5 months back. However, I did not raise any such request. Although, I've been repeatedly getting calls to activate such packs but I have always refused. As a note of caution, before going on this trip I had called the call center to enquire about the roaming pack options available and clearly notified them that I don't want to go for any pack as I find these very expensive and instead would prefer to use a local sim of the country I am travelling to. I also validated from the call center that no such pack is currently activated on my number as I have heard many horror customer stories where unnecessary charges were levied on them without their knowledge. Please make sure I don't run into such issues in the future.

                              Kindly rectify your mistake at the earliest and eliminate all the pack charges applied on my number. Also, tell me the revised amount that needs to be paid.

                                Hi, I want to complain against the executive sitting in Airtel store, Paschim Vihar branch. Her name is Ankita. She was supposed to change the ownership of my and my husband number.
                                First of all, she made us visit twice as she forgot to give the new Sim. Inspite of being customer friendly and getting it delivered, she called me up in the evening and asked us to collect it.
                                After that my Sim was de-activated the very same day and I missed on my important calls until I got the new Sim.
                                Now my husband is struggling to change the ownership of Sim, even after sending ' Y' confirmation on SMS. His current Sim card has yet not got deactivated. And when I called her to send SMS again n resolve this. Ankita said I forgot to message you as I was busy with customer. Can anyone tell then who are we??
                                Are we not customer and supposed to get good services being associated with airtel from quite long time.
                                I again called her now in evening but still no SMS received. When I am calling Ankita back she is not picking call and after three calls, she left my phone on hold.
                                Is this we should be getting as a service, I need someone to look into it immediately and strict action please!!!

                                  My airtel broadband connection has witnessed discriminatory usage since August'16 till date. I've repeatedly informed, requested & complained to Airtel Call Center, Nodal, Network & Appelate teams for this discriminatory internet usage issue.

                                  All Airtel teams have failed to provide me a resolution and are charging me basis my internet plan without giving any resolution to my issue since the last 3 months.

                                  I've copied all the emails below for reference of this complaint wherein I've requested for my broadbands' internet hacking issue with a complete reversal of Aug-Oct billing, as Airtel failed to investigate and arrive at a solution.

                                  This is horrific! My Airtel broadband is hacked more than once, password I've changed more than once, your engineers have visited me (Prashant Bhardwaj & Ram Bodh - service engineers of Airtel) more than once... and still my airtel broadband continues to be hacked. I've been charged a (approx. 2000/-) monthly rental for the last 2 months that I've regularly paid... so why this deficiency in service?

                                  Adding insult to injury, your email team refuses to share the list and details of which IPs are being connected to my broadband connection alongwith their individual usage patterns... this clearly leads to your inability to control this situation. Emails are forwarded below for your direct reference.

                                  Why is my airtel broadband being targetted? I question the integrity of the broadband service and have now made repeated requests for cancelling this connection today. Your call center staff has tried atleast 4 times to connect me to your retention team... and in all the 4 times, with a minimum waiting of 10 mins. per call (=40 mins call on waiting), I've still not been able to speak with retention team.

                                    But they didn't active my Caller tune and charge of caller tune will be dedected in my account
                                    When I call to customer care They always tell for more time like that 30 min, 2hr, 24h, 72h. I will give him lot of Time 7 Oct to 14oct but they didn't active my Caller tune and not talk properly and disconnected my call. I registered my complaint for the last 7 days and waste so much time

                                      Hi. I just wanted to tell airtel and other network providers should aware people about the fake callers. Last week i got a call from a lady[protected] saying she is calling from airtel and told that some special offers are going on postpaid plans on converting from prepaid. I believed it was true and ask them how should i get that. She asked me to send my driving license and office id to start the process. I asked them to send the person to collect it. But she said being my place is so far she asked to send the documents through whatsapp and i did. They came to my home for address verification at the time i was not there. Until then i thought it is going good but the other day she called me and asked my photograph through whatsapp. I had doubt on her and asked her i won't do that since we didn't met any person from your side so told her to send a person to collect the photos in personal. But she again said my place is too far. I already knew that we need a new postpaid sim to activate and asked her anyhow you are going to send a person to deliver the new sim card so by that time i will give the photos to him. My doubt got increased when she said we don't need to change the prepaid sim card as it will work with the older sim itself. I hang up and called the customercare and told the story. They replied don't believe such calls they are fake. So please create awareness about this ask them to come in person to collect the documents or go to any airtel showroom do get that done. Lots of fakers are living around. Now my worry is what they will do with my documents.
