Hello,

I made a complain in reference to my transaction done for airtel digital tv dated 7th april, 2016 @ 4:17 pm on your website www.airtel.in.

I used my hdfc credit card to recharge it. I got a confirmation message about from the hdfc bank but i did not receive the message from airtel about the balance. On the call today i was said the transaction was failed according to you and hdfc bank is claiming that the transaction is ok and airtel has claimed the money with id :078707. I am not sure what is going on but i need a proof from your end that the transaction did not go through. Can you send me the copy of it. Hdfc claims that they have a proof on the claim made by airtel

Please look into it at the earliest or i have to go through the customer court and file a case against airtel to get my money back.

I called in the nodal officer at Airtel and got a resolution for the case. I have the dispute as balance on my Airtel Digital TV.

    This is my airtel no. [protected] and my name is surendra prasad singh

    I have got a massage and charges deduct rs 250/- i have taken the complain with reference to the service request no – 68790832, related to billing dispute on my airtel mobile but i have got a new massage ---the charges levied in the bill are valid.
    I don’t understand i am using blackberry and not getting any internet plan but airtel charged rs 250/- without any reason.
    Pls arrange to resolve below customer issue on priority & revert with resolution.

      I had applied for a 4g hotspot dongle in the month of feb 2016. My airtel
      Mobile number is [protected]. I had bought the hot spot device and a 4 months scheme for 4gb by paying 2899/-. The 4g was activated on 23.02.2016.

      From day one, the network speed received by me is pathetic. I was constantly following up with the support desk and i was asked to do different settings but still there was no change in the network speed. Finally on 06.03.2016, after contacting the support desk for the 3rd or 4th time, an issue was logged by the support desk with the reference number 68184076 stating that the issue will be closed in 4 days. On not receiving any feedback from the support desk for 4 days, i again contacted the support desk quoting the reference number and i was informed that a survey was done of my area and the necessary arrangements will be done in the next 2 months.

      Since i have already paid for 4 months, what do i do with the pathetic speed available till that time? For all the ads shown by airtel with fast network speed in mountains and valleys and islands, there is not even a decent network available in a city like thane where i reside.

      Finally i am compelled to cancel the connection and in this regards i have been continuously communicating with the appellate authority thru emails. But even after almost 14 emails, i have not got any satisfactory reply from airtel. I have been informed in one of the mails that the connection has been suspended but i have not got any proper communication from airtel as to what happens to the rs.2899/- i have paid as advance for the connection and will it be refunded to me.

      I am repenting that i bought the airtel 4g dongle. I had a airtel mobile
      Connection earlier and i had ported it to vodafone for the same network reason and i feel i have made a mistake again by trusting the ads shown by airtel and going for its services again.

      This is a standard reply which I got to all my earlier mails also. My issue is still unresolved. I am still not aware whether I will be refunded the advance payment of Rs.2899/- for the 4G Airtel hot spot device and 4 months plan.

      Please be aware that I am forced to cancel the connection because of the third class network connection provided by you. Forget about 4g, there is not even a decent 2G connection available. I am actual regretting my decision to buy this Airtel product by believing in all the false advertisements done by Airtel.

      Find attached the speed test bandwidth result. My vodafone mobile data 3G connection speed is much better than the 4G bandwidth provided by Airtel.

        I have paid money (1049/-) and supporting documents for an airtel broadband connection on 2nd april 2016, however till date i have not got a broadband connection at my home.

        It’s been more than a week and there has been no further communication post collecting the money and documents. On calling the customer care, they keep on postponing the issue and are not helping me with my concern.

        This is highly disappointing from airtel side. I would like a refund of my money and would instead go for tata docomo as they seem to be much more professional.

          This is to inform you that i have purchase Airtel 4G Mifi plan @ 500/- per month where in Airtel committed if i will purchase Mifi Dongle which is Rs.2000/- then my 4 month rental upto 4GB data would be Zero.

          Now i have received my 1st bill amounting Rs.800/-, and the team who sold me plan is refusing to provide me bill waiver.

            Last week I purchased one prepaid 4g sim from Airtel 4g centre but that no is not activate till now. they took 450/Rs for 6gb data but that sim is not working till now. I raised complaint 8 times and visit to technical centre 3 times but
            tele-callers not responding properly they told me our side is OK please contact dealer but dealer said contact customer care. So this is my condition please resolve my problem, i am feeling bad about airtel. Airtel is worst customer service provider in india.

              My Airtel app said 500MB data for 103Rs. When I recharged with the same I have received only 300MB. Either put the balance or refund the money.. It's not the first time am facing these type of issues. App says something and data will be something else after recharge.. Airtel insists us to use their app for recharges and cheats us like this.. I went to their website and tried to complain but it kept saying my capche is wrong although it was right all the time

                  I have a post paid connection & being staying abroad I just keep it with minimum international roaming for emergency use. However when I come to India every two month I use it & also activate suitable 3G service for the period of stay which is generally between 7 to 21 days. I also deactivate the 3G service just on the day of leaving India as other wise it will automatically be renewed after each billing cycle which I will not be able to use.
                  This Time also I went to India on 1st March & activated a one GB pack @300 which was valid for one month. However as I had to leave India on 9th March, I called up customer care from Delhi Airport at around 1800 hrs just before leaving to deactivate my data pack. But this time they mentioned a strange policy saying that all the data used on the deactivation request date will be charged separately. I can not understand once it is volume based data service pack how can you charge separately unless I have not consumed the data over & above the limit. This time within that 7/8 days I consumed only 862 MB including the use on 9th the date of deactivation request. When I received the huge bill of 2850 I got shocked as my billing amount with data pack of Rs 300 should not have been more than RS 800 including all charges taxes etc if they would have not charged for huge amount on 3G data in a illogical manner. No one is so foolish to deactivate the data pack to pay more than Rs 2000 Extra rather than keeping it activated as in activated condition they would have only charged me for Rs 300 extra for next billing cycle as it get auto renewed. I just requested for deactivation to save my Rs 300 & not to pay RS 2000 More.
                  This is why Airtel & all other service provider pushes for postpaid connection to charge customer heavily/illogically without any problem as customer can do nothing once the bill is received.
                  This would not been the case If I would have a prepaid connection.
                  I have written mail to nodal officer but request was rejected & asked me to pay the huge illogical amount.

                    Airtel promises to provide 4g lte speed and sells their dongle while they do not have coverage in any areas across bangalore.. Not even in prime areas.. Their dongle software do not support windows 10 and if you raise a complaint they close the case without informing the customer. Never go for airtel.. You only get a max of 150 kps speed.. I'm struggling by paying 2 months advance amount..

                      I paid rs 298 vide transaction id[protected] on 10.04.16 online but balance not given in mobile no [protected]. Toll free numbers are not working properly. Please get the payment made effective. I have also lost one more recharge 15 days before. Please get the issue solved otherwise i would be compelled to drag the issue in consumer forum.

                        Hi am unable to receive messages since last Monday i.e. April 3rd 2016.
                        I am able to send and receive calls. Even send text messages. But am unable to receive messages since last one week. I thought it to be some network problem but the other Airtel sim users in my area are not experiencing any such problem. It's been a week and there seems to be no end to it.

                        I visited the Airtel office at hyd. They replaced my sim card stating that there was some pb with it. And they said the new sim would activate within 1/2 hr. It has been 3 hrs and the pb is not sovled, am still unable to receive message.

                                  Hi,
                                  This is regarding airtel postpaid connection [protected].

                                  I have paid the maximum amount that airtel has levied on me on my postpaid connection since i ported from airtel prepaid to postpaid on oct30, 2015. I had a 599/month plan and they have been levying inr 1400 every month when my mobile bill never exceeded inr1200 inclusive o[censored]sing 3g data!

                                  I have been paying them such heavy amount each month since oct as they just discontinue the services without calling even for postpaid. And i have been doing it because i or in that case anyone has the crunch of time to catch up on complaints.

                                  I have also attached a screenshot that shows the struggle i had for them to justify. They could never justify and were trapped in their own words. The email conversation attached is the proof of the same.

                                  The biggest thing is airtel has been dropping my calls in every 2 minutes while i was using this connection to exhaust all the free minutes in my postpaid plan. When i had prepaid until oct 2015 my calls were hardly dropped. Then i recently shouted on them last month and the call drop decreased, almost nil. I really want airtel to wake up or i want to drag them on digital media everywhere for their notorious actions specially for postpaid connections!

                                  I work for 2 social causes, one for not-for-profit and one ngo as a volunteer and is in marketing so i hardly got time to sue airtel. They never could justify even on mails why and how they are charging me so much.

                                  Now i am furious and i think i should do everything to teach them a lesson for the sake of others also.

                                  I have stopped using that connection since last week. My credit limit was inr3500 and today i receive a mail that they have increased my credit limit to inr14000. Very smart move to keep levying me charges without using the sim also!

                                  I have recently paid inr1500 this month out of the extra bill you levied on me for inr 3200 something. I will not pay more.

                                  I want them to discontinue the postpaid connection so that i can use my same number.

                                    I already paid my complete amount of my plan rs. 4400
                                    But the company activate wrong plan & duration 21st-23rd march disconnect my connection, after my conversion with helpline they activate my net and landline connection. But from 8th april 2016 to till again my net and phone connection cut my air-tel company.
                                    They are showing due payment. But in plan i paid complete amount. Fault are air tel side & problem facing our company. They agreed fault are by air tel side but for their fault why i face such problem, my complete office work stop in past 3 day & now already 2 days gone. They asking to paid due amount, but plan activate wrong by airtel so why i paid. Already i faced problem regarding my office work.

                                      I received the call from airtel regarding plan change they officer me plan and i accepted but they wrongly activte the plan

                                      Its almost 6 days but i dindnt receive any call or message regarding my complaint.

                                      I m really frustrated about your services. On 4th april inreceived below message

                                      Reference no. 68686392 for your airtel mobile has been registered on 04-APR-2016 14:02. The same will be closed in next 6 days. For status update, SMS SR (ref. no.) to 121

                                      But till now i didnt get any solution. I call to CC but they also seems helpless. so please do me a favour if there is no solution of this problem so advise me that can i PORT my no.

                                        Hi...Actually i have selected auto renewal option on rs 98 pack(Local airtel to airtel 10p) in the last month...But when i recharged my main now the offer not renewed automatically... Then i selected rs/-98 offer for which i got 98 rs deduced from my main account...
                                        After one day again 98 rs has deduced from my main account balance as a autonewal of above pack so i have been charged twice for an offer...
