On 9th july I went to big bazaar for My regular vegetables shopping, so after picking the items I stood on the queue for billing after almost 8-9 customers. When my turn came sales girl(soma dey) refused to make my bill as I am purchasing vegetables and it is going to be out of stock-l couldn't understand why she took my shopping bag and threw it inside her counter and started insulting me.when I asked her name for raising a complaint, she mocked me in front of other customers and made fun of me with her other colleagues.i was surprised by looking her arrogance.i wrote a complaint at the service desk in complaint register(page no.25).I was so disappointed about big bazaar after this kind of service.my husband is a premium big bazaar payback card holder.but we are shocked over her service.i dont know how you guys are recruiting this type of sales person who doesn't have the basic sence of how to treat with a 55 years lady.i expect that big bazaar should take some step about this. Otherwise I should go to consumer forum for justification.

Horrible staff. The management should take some steps against both the male and female staff who make a group and gossip in a corner leaving the customers unattended. The customers are insulted. The front line staffs are absolutely illiterates having no etiquettes of how to behave with the customers. I know this messege may go unheard but if a single person from the management can help, then big bazar will atleast have an increases of one loyal customer.

    On[protected] purchased goods of value Rs. 2353.23 from Big Bazaar Guwahati (City Square 118/1, G.S. Road, Guwahati) and swiped my State Bank Of India Debit Card twice. The transaction failed twice so I had to pay cash. But I found out later that the sum of Rs. 2353.23 was deducted twice (total Rs. 4706.46) from my personal account. I filed a written complaint at the customer care with proper details of transaction. Customer care promised that money would be refunded within 72 hours. Now today is[protected] and I had again twice lodged complaint after my first complaint, but have not received a refund.       I have purchased Denim Deo under 2+1 offer scheme for Rs.250/- on July 06, 2014 with other products under invoice no. 0010134 and Tr no. 79209 from Mayur Vihar Extension Metro Station outlet. I opened it today and to my surprised it contains 03 bottles of Deo spray but 01 is totally empty, 02nd is a tester half empty and tester mark is there pasted on it but the 03rd is ok. This is not the first time I am facing the problem from BigBazar but I never complaint. Kindly help me what to do as I have been cheated by BigBazar. Regards Uma Shankar [protected]

        I am a permanent customer of BIG BAZAAR for last 10 years. I have gone to big bazaar at Phoenix Market City in Chennai on 05.07.2014 for routine shopping. There was huge crowd all over the shop. I selected two kurti for my wife which were on 50% discount. Before purchasing I confirmed with the staff there about the discount. When I reached the billing counter, staff at counter rudely told to me that it is only 30% discount. I was in queue in billing counter for more than 30 minutes. When I contacted Mr Shagul Hameed, he rudely insulted me & threatened me to go to company owner & complain. Now when I contacted Mr Tanjeer Ali at customer service office at big bazaar, he also rudely threatened me to go for on line complain & not to visit big bazaar in future. I request you to kindly take stern action against the rude behaviour of employees.

          I have been going for marketing at Burdwan Big bazrar today(05.07.2014 at 07.10 P.M.).I collect all my materials .But in 2nd floor 1 counter open & two closed.A large nos of buyer are in a long line.I was going in 1st floor, there three counter are all closed.atlast i going ground floor.There I was saw that two nos of counter open, but each counter are fulfilled 30 nos buyer.Two nos open& two nos closed.Lastly I kept all material which i am collect.I wrote a complain in complain board.

            I had returned a Queen Bed, as a mattress wasn't provided. I was promised a credit note, any was told to buy any stuff for 16, 900 from Home Town. I went to purchase a mobile phone, they said u cannot purchase electronic items as its a part of EZone. I fail to understand, the website for Hometown clearly shows Electronics part of the Home Town chain. They don't give a refund nor they allow me to purchase what i want. I cant buy something which is of no use to me. The worst part is customer service people are never at their desk. Same excuses, > Seniors are not available > Manager has come today. > Lunch Time. > I am not authorised to commit. > Talk to my manager > Come tomorrow. > Credit note is not ready. Really displeasing.

              To BIG BAZAAR-Ambience Mall- Whom So Ever it may concern I Ashish Dwivedi bought a SAMSUNG AC (Model-AR18FC3UAEB 1.5T) & & LG TV 42 INCH on 23-june-2014 from BIG BAZAAR BRANCH AMBIANCE MALL GURGAON, The installation of AC is done on 25-june-2014, and the AC stops cooling from 27-june-2014, Then we did complaint to Samsung customer care for checking the fault, the service engineer cam on next day and found that the gas is leaked but he said the he can’t fix it, then another guy Mr. Mustak from Samsung authorized service center came for gas filling and leakage checking. He also didn’t find any leakage, & he also stated that there is chances of some part failure in AC and it required repair) and filled up the gas. Then AC started cooling again- but next day again the AC was not cooling, I already made complaint again to Samsung (complaint no-[protected]), I also informed to Mr Saurabh who working as manager in Big Bazaar electronic section, who is demonstrated me AC and TV during purchase, that my AC is not working since I have purchased it. But no action taken from his side. I am calling him again and again but no proper response coming from him. I like to inform you that I will not accept any repair in that AC I want replacement or refund for this otherwise I am taking legal action, by filing written complaint to consumer court for faulted goods selling and harassment with penalty clause.                   as i noticed every time at the billing period your executives cancelled the discounted price & they took the exact MRP. Your executive should know about every update including the all discounted price. Last week i purchased Lakme sunscreen, that MRP was Rs/400 but there was Rs/50 discount but your executive billed on MRP. They have done this each & every time on varioue product. This is very unprofessional behaviour which is not at all expected from your side.

                    I am the regular customer of Big Bazaar and i purchase one pare of shoe(spalding ) at kalyan metro junction
                    mall salesman say sir a very good quality of shoes and no complaint of this item.
                    so i am purchase same shoes but unfortunately shoes are badly defected in 2 month so when i go to mall take the shoes and written a complaint about this matter (Complain No. [protected]) but nothing is doing about this complain.

                        I purchased Samsung Galaxy Quattro on December 2013 From big bazaar Ambience mall. They gave me the bill from a printer whose ink gets erased after few days so the salesman told me to take it photocopy and take a photo of it.So i did the same. After few months when my phone got a problem i went to samsung care where they told me to bring the original bill to repair it under warranty and also the bill which they gave me has a date of 30/11/2009,...

                        On 23rd September, 2013 (receipt attached), I request to repair/replace one of the 360 degree rotating suitcase wheels by their service, willing to pay the cost (BIG BAZAR, MBD Neopolis Mall, Jalandhar). But even after 10 months (till now) I haven't hear any service they provided nor they called even promised many times will do it. I visited also three times so far just to get back suitcase in whatever condition but whenever I asked about suitcase, with some unusual reasons they keep ignoring. I strongly against the person Mr. Kamal who dealt with luggage caring is the worst person full of aggression and suggest to take action against him.

                          Purchased shirt from life style, and plan d to get tshirt from big bazzar, so i visited by tat time security took tat cover for security purpose and tag cover and he kept inside, after i came out tat cover was missed and iInformed superiser well to admin manager still i dint got any call and wat abt my worth of 1900 rupees shirt and this Is the way big bazzar standard is worst, going to take severe action and well to file complaint abt this issuses...

                            Yesterday i was visited Big B @ Surat, Piplod road, Few items purchase & stand in billing que, the lady who is standing at billing counter was very slow + taking so much time into process, Also at billing desk client is counting his big b vouchers & than giving cash for deference amount. Why you people not make a different billing desk for customer who's billing amount not more than 500. Then the lady taken all cash from counter & take a leave as her duty is finished, then new person take place & make his process for start up billing activity. Then one bill is having some error, so person go to somewhere & till the time we stand in line. After those things, Person taken 2 more client who are before me & then my turn take place. Hope you understand the time assumption by big bazar. I strongly recommended to all for not to shop at big bazar in future to all. The whole period is almost of 55 mins, almost 1 hr. i am very surprised that the group like future is not seeing this. Revert with proper solution in 48 hrs, or else i will take legal steps for wasting my time with you internal issues at forum. i also written feedback form with complaint details.                               Sad Story of Big Bazzar When you shop in toy’r’us or wall mart, the only check is when you come out at the gate. They don’t frisk just ask for your bags and one glance… that all it takes. At Big bazar at the gate there is a check, then your purse is raided for either a lock down or sealing, where if you forget your cell inside you cannot use it while shopping!! Or shopping list.. Last week I happened to got to big bazar to buy Tupperware and the likes for lunch boxes and water bottles…the plastics for home which would be substantial for the kitchen for quite some time. My purse was under scrutiny. Then they discovered that I have a compartment with cosmetics! Now how can they let me in? So instead of sealing my cosmetics compartment, they decided to put a sticker on each one of my cosmetic items.. Eeeewwww.. How gross. These are regularly used and since they cannot man their counters well enough they want to tamper with my belongings! Why? Big Bazar has low or no respect for their customers. How can they touch my belongings, there are other subtle methods of counter checks.. this is not the first time that I felt Mistreated [protected]@gmail.com

                                Hello, I had purchased a King bed for 84, 990/- on 14th June 2014. Order number is [protected]. I was assured a delivery date of 17th June. The deliverly date is mentioned on the receipt as well. However I got the delivery on 19th June. Today (20th June) when the fitter came to assesmble to the bed, I was surpriesed to find faulty / broken two big pieces. I have been told by the fitter (Madhuban) that it would take 3-4 days for the replacement to take place, After that I called up the Mr. Omkar and he told me, it would take 3-4 days for replacement. I have registered a complaint with the call center (Complaint number : 5060162). I was assured I would get some call back, but i didnt received anything. I am totally upset with the after sales and the quality of product delivered from HomeTown. Why was no Quality Check done, before sending the materials to me? Why is it taking so long to replace, when I have already waited so long ? Response getting from Omkar and others have been very disappointing. Request some one responsible to look into this and update me on my delivery status. There was another order (order number [protected]) for matteress and pillows. I got the materresses deliveled yeterday but the pillows were not delivered. I have called manytimes to know, when I will get the pillows and why was it not delivered. I got a call now from call center and I was asked whether I can come to store to collect the pillows. I really fail to understand how can someone ask this type of question. Request someone to look into this as I think my problem is not getting addressed propoerly.

                                  Dear Sir I have shaped in Big bazar, J P nagar 8th phase, ( near BRI Layout ) on 15.06.14. There I have shopped for Rs549. And trying to pay by debit card. But the billing person telling that Transaction is not sec cues full. I have tried 4 times by debit card. But the billing person telling that transaction is not successfull. Than I have paid by cash. Then I left big bazar. But My Account debited Rs 549.29 by Big bazar after two hours. Then i have informed to Big bazar and SBI bank constomer care. nobody in responding to my complaint Please solve the issued. Kindly help me to take refund Regards Ravi hegde

                                    Dear Sir/Madam, Today i went to one of your outlet which is located in v3s mall Laxminagar, and i purchase some items.Unfortunatly i was select a wrong billing counter because there was an unprofessional staff (Mr.Manish Visht) handle the counter.he was suppose to give me Rs.114 balance and given me Rs.110/- and 4 candy's.I request him i don't want candy and arrange me the change.But he was not ready for the same he told me he is not carrying the change.when i ask his name HE PICKUP HIS IDENTITY CARD AND SHOWN TO ME VERY ROUDLY THEN HE TOLD ME THIS IS MY NAME YOU GO AND COMPLAINT TO ANYWERE.I was shocked about his attitude and i realise if a customer written any complaint management never taken action against that.otherwise a cashier never behave like this to a customer.am a regular user of same out let from the begining. i never face this kind of problem ever.all staffs are very friendly except him. I hope every customers are valuable for your business.please give training and regular briefing to such unprofessional staff.That will increase your value.                                       Hi,

                                      I booked a modular kitchen from HomeTown, Marathahalli shop. My consignment includes the followings:
                                      1. Modular Kitchen cabinet
                                      2. One Hov
                                      3. One Chimney.

                                      Total cost was 2, 23, 000/-. Order#: [protected].

                                      I gave the initial amount 50, 000/- (SBI Txn: POS 020449 HOME TOWN BANGALOR) on 16-Apr-2014 as per the payment cycle set by HomeTown, and I was told that within 1 month (i.e., by 17th May, 2014) your materials will delivered and installed. Then, on 24-Apr-2014, I paid another 59, 500/- as per the payment cycle. I reminded him about the fact that the product should be delivered on time. And time marches on…

                                      First follow up:
                                      I contacted the marketing guy (Binoy, mob# [protected]) sometimes middle of May and asked him about the status, to my surprise, he told that your materials will be delivered on 26th May. I asked him humbly, if that being the case you should have informed your customer earlier, so that I can plan accordingly. Because I will be shifting to my new flat and I’d already given one month notice to my current owner. To this, he said, by 26th May it will be delivered and installed.

                                      Second follow up:
                                      On 17th May, I got and SMS from HomeTown stating that my delivery has been deferred to 26th Jun. Perplexed, I called up the guy, but he didn’t pick up the phone after several attempts. Frustrated, I took my vehicle off Bennerghatta and reached HomeTown, Marathahalli. And I called him again while I was on the escalator and by the time I reached his cubicle, I saw him chatting with his colleague and his cellphone is kept on the table and is still ringing, to which he is not at all bothered. I caught him red-handed and asked why didn’t you pick up the call?? He started giving some lame excuses, like it is on silent, blah blah blah. Any way I showed him the SMS and inquired about the status, however, he confirmed it is some mistake in their system, but the material is surely going to be delivered to my place on 26th and by 27, they will finish the installation. Waiting for the D-day…

                                      Third follow up:
                                      On 21st May, I again called up Benoy, and enquired about the status. He said, the materials are about to reach and that I can come and pay the outstanding amount, so that once materials arrive, they can immediately send it to my place for installation (to speed up the process, huh !). I visited HomeTown, paid the remaining 1, 00, 000/- (one lac) and got a commitment of 27th May.

                                      Forth follow up:
                                      On 26th May, morning I gave him a call, as I may need to take a day off and go to my flat if the materials arrive today. Again no response ! After trying several times, I drove to Marathahalli, talked to him, this time Benoy told, there is some problem, the materials have arrived but they need to prepare the papers, so it can’t be done today, but by Thursday (29-May) they will finish it.

                                      Fifth Follow up:
                                      I called up Benoy on 29-May, as usual he didn’t bother to pick up the phone. Reached HomeTown in the afternoon. This time I was agitated, I am not sure if they are at all going to deliver my materials or not. I talked to his manager (Prthvijit), explained about the scenarios, he assured me that by the weekend (30th/31st May) they will finish installation. I had no other option but to wait. By the time I already paid full 2, 23, 000/- and left with no other choice.

                                      Sixth Follow up:
                                      31st May I called him up, he said, the materials are going to be delivered on 1st June only and afterwards they will arrange for installation (in 48 hours). Fantastic !!! I really appreciate your commitment.

                                      On the auspicious day of 1st June, I got a call from HomeTown informing that my materials will be delivered around 11 o clock. I hurriedly reached my flat and the materials were delivered. I asked about the installation team and they said they have no idea about it.

                                      Seventh Follow up:
                                      I reached HomeTown later in the afternoon, and clearly told them that this is not acceptable and that I can NOT wait anymore. It has been 45 days and still you are not able to keep your promises. Again I got an assurance and fortunately the carpenters arrived the very next day. I reached to my flat on 2nd June, the work has already been started. I saw faulty/cracked piece has been delivered (awesome). I was told that they will replace it. At the end of day the carpenters told that the shutters were not delivered, so they could not finish their work. The supervisor told me that tomorrow they will come with the shutters and other missing parts and fix them.

                                      Eighth Follow up:
                                      3rd June, nobody turned up. I gave a call the manager, he said that he will quickly check with the warehouse team and give me a call. Worth mentioning that I didn’t receive any further call during that day.

                                      Ninth Follow up:
                                      Next day, 4th June, I reached HomeTown. That time I was told that the materials have not arrived. Surprised… Shocked.. I thought of congratulating these useless fellows, due to their callousness customers do have to suffer. Imagine how a family will cook in a half-way done kitchen. We have to put the gas oven and cylinder on the floor and continued cooking for next one week, which is way too risky. As by rule, you should keep the cylinder in a lower position compared to that of your oven.

                                      Tenth Follow up:
                                      After several phone calls (and no response) and couple of visits and I decided to lodge a formal police complaint and ask about the refund. May be that worked out (as thieves are always scared of police). They finally dispatched the pending materials on 8th June (after 53 days of booking). The carpenter arrived on 10th June and finished the work. Again they didn’t send the bottom cover and few screws, due to which carpenters were not able to fix the cabinet handle. I called up Benoy and asked about it and of course the cracked material, he said, if you want we can replace it, but it will take another 20 days. You bloody , first of all because of your false promise and inadequate service I am suffering, how dare you to talk like this? You didn’t follow up with your warehouse manager on time, you have sent faulty/incomplete materials, morever talking arrogantly. Anyways I couldn’t wait for another 20 days. As 20 days may turn up 2 months.

                                      Finally my cabinet was done with the faulty/cracked piece. But the story is not yet finished.
                                      Chimney is not delivered. I called them and enquired about it, and they said, that this is on transit and would be delivered by 15th June. Another false promise, huh ! I visited HomeTown on 15th June, this time they said, no it will delivered by next Thursday (19-Jun) because it has not yet reached. You bloody liar, a week before you said, that this is on transit, and now you are saying that you are not sure about when will it reach !!!

                                      Finally, today I called his manager, and said that I have no other option but to take legal approach, as you are looting customer’s money, making false commitments, delivering faulty materials. On top of that making a poor design. They didn’t suggest about placing a piece of ply against the wall, back side the chimney. As a consequence, the wall is getting dirty with oil and stuff like that. I told them why didn’t you suggest that, to which they said you didn’t mention about it sir. You bloody incompetent people, who is the [censored]ing designer, you or me ???

                                      Just now I got an SMS from his manager, that your chimney will be delivered on Saturday without fail. Haha, another fake commitment from these ba*****ds.

                                      I warn people, do not go by the pomp and grandeour of their store. They are simply horrible. They have appointed some inexperienced people with poor technical skill and knowledge. If you really want to screw up you kitchen with poor workmanship and materials, go for HomeTown. They are nothing but a bunch of inefficient looting their customer’s hard-earned money. BEWARE OF HOMETOWN.
