To Blue Dart

This is regarding refusal of delivering credit card and usage of harsh language by the customer care person in Blue Dart office chennai and misguidance by delivery executive of blue dart.

The delivery executive came with a delivery package while I was not at home and asked my mom for my id proof and said collect the id proof and will be deliverying the pack next day. Next day while the id proof was shown he gave a slip from Blue dart and asked to call the # 28241234. While i contacted through phone the person who attended the phone was not interested to answer my question and spoke in harsh manner. Finally he said show the id proof of the person who is collecting the card. Next day a delivery executive came and said the person to whom the pack is addressed should sign and get pack and again he asked to called me in the same phone#. While i contacted thru phone who person was not ready to talk and so harsh, and said the pack is retured to the bank if you need you call the bank and get it again. I haven't seen a customer care like this.

I will never use blue dart in my lifetime.

I am planning to call HSBC and cancel my credit card if they are going to deliver through Blue Dart again.

Very strongly agree, ridiculous service levels even in Ahmedabad!!!
I was at home also, even then I got nothing! & customer care person says, "Thank you for calling Blue Dart", and bangs the phone in my face!!!
Is this customer care service, or customer penalize service?!!!

    I want to lodge complaint against BlueDart Courier Cust Care, Pune[protected].
    I had to collect my shipment on Dec 28, 2009. I called up cust care no to know the status. They said that shipment would be delivered near by 6 PM. After 6, when I checked my shipment status, I found comment as "Need Dept Name/Extn.No:Unable To Deliver". I had already given my phone number and full postal address. Again I called up Cust Care and they provide me some nos[protected]/31.
    I called up at this no but no one entertained me. Dec 28, 2009 gone now.
    On Dec 29,2009, I called up cust care again to know the shipment status, they said it would be delivered today but didnt give any specific time. When I told them that current status is "Need Dept Name/Extn.No:Unable To Deliver" and I am not supposed to share my xtension no and I have already provided my mobile phone number, so the delivery should have given me a call. They replied "Not all our delivery boy carry mobile phones. You should contact at 65106830/31". I told them that no one is picking up the phone. They replied "from their you would the mobile no of delivery boy". What is this ? I am fed up of this reply. They are seriously not helping at all. :-(
    Can any action be taken against such customer care which are not helpful at all ?

      delivery urgently required:Unpolite Rude Behaviour by staff & refuse to deliver by Jamshedpue Office
      dear sir,
      I was informed by your office that there is a consignment by my name from Axis Bank containing my ATM card.
      On personally visiting the branch office they were unpolite & rude to me & refused to give the same even on production of my identity (Driving lisence/PAN card.)
      You are requested to dEliver the same at my residence adress as mentioned on the envelope to my parents/spouce in my absence.Else pls deliver the same to my office to me.My contact no-[protected].

      Blue Dart Courier — hidden charges

      I have sent an item through Blue dart courier , I was charged Rs 1060/- , when it was delivered the perso who recieved this package he was charges Rs 300/- .
      Now I want that Rs 300/- back.

        I missed a shipment Waybill No : [protected] Reference No :[protected].

        Actually, delivery boy has not came to door step and they are saying like no such consignee available.

        This is totally vagueness of Blue Dart people. I called many times but they are saying same thing. They are not interested to come at shipment address at once. I invested a lot of money on just calling him.

        There should be a huge penalty on Blue Dart.

        How such type of courier service exists in India. I believe these people are born from ash hole of their father.

          Hi,

          I got a PAN card through Blue Dart Couriers. I checked on the online status of the PAN card, I went to the courier office asked for PAN Card status... To my suprise they told that we came for delivery of your pan card but some one near by your address told that you have shifted the house.... In fact i am reciding in the same address... after i told them no it is wrong information... after that i went for four time to office... every time they inform that your is wrong address.. The employess of Blue Dart very worst and with a proper finding the address how can return my PAN Card? the verbal language of them is really worst... This is the worst service of Blue Dart... Still i didnot understand why they cheated me...

          I want a serious action should be taken on them.... proper process should be implemented to deliver the products to customer.

          I hate Blue Dart Service... they have waste much of my time and time....

          Yes, all these cuourier companies are playing with people like they (ATTEMPTED DELIVERY ETC..) fooling the people. Need to ban in some aspects like this such a prestigious company like bluedart. Also charging more money. Company waste of affording it.

            I purchased Dell Laptop in the month of September, 2009. The laptop was delivered late by Blue Dart, Chandigarh Branch after following with them minimum 20 times a day. Their Chandigarh Branch was informing their Head Office that it was raining in Chandigarh on the date of delivery, whereas there was no rains. I complained against them to their customer Service Centre and sent email also. Instead of improving their service, now they have started to return my important couriers with reason "No Service Area". The laptop was delivered in the same area, but now that Area comes under their "No Service Area" In this company, no action is taken against their erring personnel. Instead they protect them and harass the consignees. Is there anyone to ask Blue Dart whether Panchkula (adjoing Chandigarh) does not come under their Service Area ? All my Credit Cards, gift items on redemption of reward points are returned by Blue Dart.

              respecetd sir,
              the asansol branch of bluedart, delayed my consignment by 8 days. whenever i called them they asked me to call after 1 hour or so otherwise switched off their phones. infact i called them once for 4 consequtive times, they refused to give any information regarding my consignment, and lastly they abused and used indecent words, not only to me but my parents too.
              this is unacceptable. i am not using their free service, they are being paid of their service.

              Bluedart — mishandling of courier and weeks delay in delivery

              Hello there,

              I had faced immense problems from Bludart Regarding a particular packet. Here is tracking no. [protected] which was small packet From AXIS BANK.

              The packet was there in the Bludart madinaguda,hyderabad office for more than 10 days without much effort to deliver. Their person tried to deliver on a sunday 10th apr after i followed up 5-6 times by making calls. They informed me that someone is going to deliver by 12 - 12:30pm on 10 th apr. No one came in time and i did wait and finally left house at 1:30 pm. Once i am back home i saw the slip from Bludart with "we missed you ". From monday onwards i called and followed up for again 5-6 times but no delivery of the packet happened. Finally, i lost tremper and shouted and then they delivered after 12_13 days of frustrations and mental tensions.

              Can you take some action so that others dont face the same problems in future.

                This has reference to the HSBC Debit card, Way Bill Number [protected] Reference No[protected], dispatched thro' Blue Dart courier. The courier refused to hand over the card to me on showing proof Photo ID ( Voter I card). A courier man said that my billing address has no house number, when a municipality not send it how can I get..

                  I was expecting to receive my credit card through AWB # [protected]. After two failed attempts an appointment had been made for 3 to 6 pm delivery on 05/11/2009. I had also taken a day off so that the delivery was possible. When nothing came I called BLUEDART at 5.50pm and was told that premises were locked when delivery was attempted at 4.15pm.
                  When I tried to explain that I had also received one more courier from Bluedart with AWB # [protected], on the same day - how can my house be locked? they were not interested an hung up the phone.
                  My question - did you ask the delivery person whether he rang the door bell or did he see a shut door and leave (every apartment has a shut door for security). I am mentioning this because this was explanation I was given once earlier by BLUEDART when I asked that why no one pressed the bell. The customer service didn't have the patience to allow me to ask this question. SMS notifications and other high tech gimmicks wont have any effect when you can't get the basics right.
                  My credit card is on its way via Indian Postal Service.

                    I had received a courier from Oracle India Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore on August 29th 2009. The courier service provider is Blue Dart. I have not received the courier till date. An official from Blue Dart (Mr. Ravi who is the Team Lead) says that it was delivered to the security guard which is the normal process.

                    My complaint is
                    - If I wanted the courier to be delivered to the security, I would have provided the security's name and details in my address.
                    - I opted for a courier service only so that the courier is delivered in person, otherwise I would have opted for a postal service.
                    - Also, I was very much in station and there is no reason why the Blue Dart personnel should deliver it to the security unless instructed.
                    - Lastly, the security guard says that he has not received it.

                    I have been following up frantically with Oracle India Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore for the courier for the last 2 months. I got to know this morning that the courier has been delivered to the security personnel. I would like to sue Blue Dart for the harassment, damages and the irresponsible behaviour.

                      I really needed a courier (It was suppose to delivered that day), called up blue dart pune main office about 47 times the same day. They gave me khadkee branch number where no one answered the phone , in the evening blue dart main office connected my phone to khadkee branch and then they told m it would be delivered. Later they gave me the number of the delivery boy (They should have asked if would deliver and given me a response if possible or not). He switched off the phone after a while and the reason for which I had asked for the parcel is gone...

                        Dear Sir,

                        My Name is Vikas Kumar and I stay at Malakpet(H. No.[protected]/4/10/2/B, Plot No.-69, Sripuram Colony, Malakpet, Hyderabad). This complain is regarding the Blue-Dart courier, Malakpet branch. My concern is that I had an important document(My original MCA certificates) shiped with consinement number [protected] on 9th October 2009 from ICFAI, Hyderabad and should reach to me in maximum 2 working days(by 12th October) but I didn't recieved it yet. When I called Blue-Dart courier then they said the document is already delivered and the recipient is Prakash however, no one stays there with the name Prakash at my house. I asked them to get the courier back to their office and call me so that I will come and collect it. After that I called around 20 times and also visited 2 times personally but they always say some or the other reason to escape. They don't response properly and when I ask there manager number, they always say that we will give your number and he will call you back but he never calls. This is mental harassment and also I spent lots of time on this for which I am no where defaulter. I this they should get penalties for this and I should get my document ASAP. Please register a complaint for this. I can provide any other information required. I request you to please take appropriate action and do justice with me.

                          I have taken a very bitter experience by sending one Parcel from BLUE DART Courier service.
                          I booked a small envelope on 14.10.2009 at Blue Dart’s Patiala Office. The Patiala Office assured me to deliver the envelope by 16.10.2009. They had asked me to pay Rs. 230/-, the amount is 9 times higher than SPEED POST charges. The bill number was [protected].

                          Even after charging 9 times, the Parcel was NOT delivered to my son at the given address till 17 00 Hrs on 20.10.2009.
                          My son had to walk to the Mysore office of BLUE DART to take the delivery at 17 45 Hrs. on 20.10.2009.
                          Such poor service reflects badly on their claim to deliver the goods in time.
                          I shall never use BLUE DART Courier service in future and advice all my well wishers to keep away from this courier service.
                          Even after charging a whooping sum of Rs. 230/- , which is 9 times higher than the Speed-post charges, they delivered the parcel like an ordinary post.

                          Courier Service — late delivery of the courier

                          This is in regards to know the reason for delay of my Proffesional courier from chennai to hyderabad with consignment numner maa[protected] booked on 29 th march 2010, carrying some needfull documents submission required on 31st march 2010 year ending. The courier was not deleviered till 1st april 2010 , 3pm to the concern address by which i was unable to submit the documents needed for my year ending closure. I have made more than 100 calls to the head office at hyderabad and my nearest branch madhapur but i have not get any proper feedback except saying it is transit. I would like to understand the reason to why it was unable to delever in 3 days from chennai to hyderabad such a small distance and as well as good connectivity metros. The loss which i incurred is one full financial year effort,....'now i strongly requested the courier you to address the reason of delay and the compensestion. .

                            Dear all,

                            I would like to share my bad experience with Bluedart Express Ltd. Company says, they are leading logistics company in Asia but this is all crap.

                            They don't even manage proper network in Mumbai only. They don't keep record of their delivery boy's so please don't send your any shipment through this company service.

                            This is the worst company in this industry. All people are liar and fraud. Don't ever believe in this company.They don't keep their commitments and don't deliver shipments on time.

                              my pan card was sent on 16th Sept,2009 through blue dart express ltd. airway bill no.[protected] and my pan card no. is ASPPR8920D. I was sent an sms message on 07/10/09 informing me to collect my pan card from the office of blue dart office from agartala. on calling to the office ,i was told that delivery at the residence was not possible and they asked me to collect it personally.Accordingly, I went to collect the pan card on 10/10/09 as I was out of station, to my utter surprise, I was told it was sent back again. so now where do I run for my pan card? please ensure that customers are not harassed by such action of the couriers that u transact business. thanking you and expecting your kind assistance.

                                This is regarding non delivery of shipment AW No. [protected] through Blue Dart which contains new PAN card of my son (PAN Card No.ASYPD9098B) issued by NSDL. I regreat to notice that the same is returned to origin by M/s Blue Dart which is absolutely the example of the poorest service and negligency by M/s Blue Dart. I would like to inform that I have been interacting with M/s Bule Dart over telephone / mail since 05.10.09. I am really surprised to experience so bad service even after geting the apology letter from M/s Blue Dart as below.

                                Moreover, we are always at our home since 03.10.09 till 10.10.09 except on 08.10.09 which I have also mentioned in my letter to M/s Blue Dart appended below as well as informed to M/s Blue Dart over telephone requesting not to deliver the shipment on that day. I am surprised to notice that Bule Dart person came ONLY on that very date (08.10.09) indicating the same writing the message on the outside switchboard. Even after that I contacted M/s Blue Dart twice on yesterday i.e. on 09.10.09 and M/s lue Dart confirmed me that the shipment shall be definitely delivered by 10.10.09, but surprisingly I have noticed that the same has been returned back to origin.

                                I regreat to express my above experience is an example of the poorest quality of service and negligeny from M/s Blue Dart.

                                  This is the second time I am complaining about the irresponsibility of Delivering the Copurier and would be the last time.
                                  The South Asia's Express Courier Service Has not delivered my Courier for second time even after 4 days.
                                  This was after Blue Dart Officials called and assured they wouldn't repeat this mistake and wanted me to use their service to find the difference and give them a chance to server better.
                                  and now too they make the same statement We will ensure this is not done again even after making their common statement that the delivery section knows is "Incorrect Address" inspite og giving the correct address and 2 phone numbers on the envelop.

                                  Now I have understood the good old Postal dept Speed Post service is good.

                                  The BlueDart Noida office is really inefficient. The consignment that was to be delivered from Mumbai to Noida has been sent to the Noida office. Bit the noida office is not sending the consignment to the address and is makindg an excuse that the consignee is not available at the address. This ahaapened twice with my consignment at the Noida office. On calling nobody is picking up the phone. There should be some measures taken to improve the blue dart Noida office services to avoid any inconveniences.

                                    parcel lost

                                    I have not received my parcel as yet. The parcel was sent across to me from India Today Book Club on the 26th Sept 09. Blue Dart claims that the parcel has been lost by them and its under investigation. It is now 8thOct and i have still not received the parcel yet. The parcel is of high value and i am worried if i would get the parcel at all.

                                    1. I have send and received my shipment (a bike and a trunk) bar code num: [protected], from behrampur (orissa) to kota in july 09.
                                    2. The following damage was done to the shipment:
                                    (a) Handle of the bike was bent.
                                    (b) The seat was torn.
                                    (c) The box was completely deformed.
                                    3. Despite my several complaints to kota branch the said company, no action was taken.

                                      One Credit card was dispatched from Standard Chartered Bank, Chennai through Bluedart Courier, Aw Bill No. [protected].

                                      On 03.10.09, I enquired from Customer service centre about the possible delivery date and time, I was informed that packet has been colelcted for delivery and will be delivered by 6pm. I was available at the address till 6.30 pm and even after that my house was not closed.

                                      To my surpirse, I received one SMS on 04.10.09 at 10.38 pm which states that "We tried to deliver Shpt#[protected] frm STANCHART. Select delivery TIMESLOT A [[protected]] or B[[protected]] MON-SAT; SMS D A or B to 56767 with date POST 24 HRS"

                                      On 05.10.09 (around 10 am), I again contacted Customer Centre about this. I was informed that Mr. Praveen Kumar found my premises closed at 1445 hours (2.25pm) on 03.10.09. When I insisted that he has never reached at the address, I was asked to wait for him today as the packet has been collected by him. Till 1500 hours, the packet has not been delivered.

                                      This is not the first time, that I am facing such kind of situation, Earlier, on two occasions, My premises were found closed by delivery staff of Bluedart Express. It is also surprising that there is no mention of their entry at prescribed date and time in the visitors register at the gate of society.

                                      BL — AD SMS - issue

                                      I used to receive AD SMS with pre address BL- (FINANCE, SEMINAR, etc) and the amount is getting deducted for that. I do not think subscribed for services like that. Please unsubscribe me from the list.
                                      Same is happening with me too. I'm strongaly agree.
                                      My pan card was dispatched from pan card authorities on dated 04.04.2012. When I phoned to blue dart express, Gwalior. at[protected] when I received my pan card. Then they say that we donot give me the satisfactorily answer. and said we donot know when the pan card will came at Gwalior.

                                      Blue Dart sucks big time. They wouldn't hand it over to your family members while you are in office. And to top it all I am getting an SMS "Blue Dart tried to deliver shp# [protected] fm HDFC. All the other courier companies would deliver it right at your doorstep. FEDEX, First Flight, ExpressIT. Why Blue Dart - what's special about you?
                                      A similar thing happened with me this afternoon. My HDFC Debit Card was delivered to my office address and I, being on leave wasn't able to collect it. So, I asked the Blue Dart guy to hand it over to one of my colleagues (I was ready to authorize him), but he refused. I called his manager and got a similar rude response. I then called my Relationship Manager and he conferenced the Blue Dart guy, but still he refused to hand it over. (supposedly, they were not allowed to hand over the Debit Card to anyone). I even gave him two options, to either deliver the same on Monday (when I'll be back in my office) or deliver it at my home, but obviously, the obnoxious Blue Dart guys refused! Right now, I got a msg from Blue Dart, "Blue Dart tried to deliver Shpt # ********* fm HDFC. Select delivery TIMESLOT A[protected] MON-SAT; SMS D A or D B to 56767 with date post 24 hrs" and I've msgd them 6 times and every time I get this reply, "Invalid keyword, please send the correct keyword".
                                      A similar thing happened with me this evening.MY axis bank credit card was supposed to be delivered to me with shipment number [protected]...within 72 hours as said in the message received from axis bank thru blue dart.To my surprised no one has turned up to my residence and in the evening i recieve this perplexing message that "Blue Dart tried to deliver shp# [protected] fm axis bank. Select delivery TIMESLOT A[protected] MON-SAT; SMS D A to 56767 with date post 24 hrs" which doesn't work. This is wonderful.
                                      A similar thing happens with me (Praveen), I have ordered a Product from Snap deal and it was couriered to me by Blue dart services.
                                      On 17.11.2014 they have updated the consignment status to Door Closed (Consignee not available) that was totally disgusting. I was available the whole day at the address mentioned in the courier. Today 18.11.2014 I have received a message "Select delivery TIMESLOT A[protected] MON-SAT; SMS D A or D B to 56767 with date post 24 hrs" 2 times from the courier service. This is totally disgusting and as I have seen a lot of complaints has been raised by users for this Blue Dart courier service then why only Blue Dart ?
                                      Same here, just now rcvd two SMS from BLUE DART, saying same standard text, to send SMS D A or D B blah blah (they should simply be asking to call back on a number and fix appointment, SMS format is never understood, POST DATE etc), My wife is 24 hrs at home, so they never reached home to deliver, secondly i am in office full business hours, they should contact me there. With this SMS reply, will they be able to deliver, when they couldn't when we are already at home and office? Moreover, the SMS is not free, it is premium chargeable.
                                      I think now many courier companies are not even trying more than a telephone call, and return the consignment, so that they can pocket Courier charges twice for the same packet/same customer.. They are liable for consumer court if found lying.
