I have booked a ticket for travel date 08.11.2019 from srinagar to jammu on ai-822 flight. The said flight got cancelled due to bad weather. I have cancelled this ticket from easemytrip.com but they have refused full refund, on approaching air lines the anwser is that it has to be seen by ease my trip where the ticket has been booked.

    It has been a simple request and your customer service executives have been amazingly careless in following simply procedures. This is despite that me as a customer have gotten all the approvals for you people. They dont read emails, dont reply properly, lie on everything, unsupportive, use templates replies etc.

    My mother was denied boarding by the airline in may 2019. After discussing with the airline, they approved for “full refund” for the return flight. Total cost of flight was inr65k. Plus i paid 14-15k for change the return flight. So total was 80k

    Real nightmare started when i started discussions with your agency for the refund. First they simply deny that it cannot be done. Then you guys process the refund request from my internal portal for 31k. I asked how about the 15k i paid to change the flight, you guys tell me its non-refundable. How can it be when this 15k was the “difference in flight price” i paid at that time? In the meantime, the refund request for 31k gets rejected. Then i get them an email address of an airline official. Then i am told that you guys processed the request again and it will take 45-90 days for the process. I repeatedly asked your customer service agents if the request was approved by the airline official and share the communication with me. But somehow your agents were not not sharing anything with me.

    After over 60 days i lose my patience and emailed the official myself. The airline official told me that he “specifically asked xyz system and not abc”. When i told this to your agents, within few days they informed me that the refund has been processed and i will receive in few days. This shows how careless you guys were that you people could not even follow simple instructions and i had to do all your work.

    Now the story is that your agents dont even reply to my emails. I have asked for “detailed breakup” for the fair a few times which i have not received yet. If i asked more than one thing in an email they write an incomplete reply to just one question.

    Now i would like to know:
    1. I paid 80k for a return flight and how can the cost for return fair only be 14k while i paid 14-15k for changing the flight alone?
    2. The first refund request, without the 14k i paid for return flight changes, was 31k. So how can now that amount be 14k?
    3. When i paid 14-5k specifically to change my return flight then how can it be “non-refundable” when the flight approved for “full refund” for return flight?

    Just to let you know, your customer service agents have maintained that they could not reach my number while the whole world was able to.

    Now I am being offered a higher amount which still is half of what its supposed to be. I am telling them this is not the correct amount and still they are asking me to share bank details so they can deposit the amount.

    When airline approved the full refund, it should be a fee refund. And telling me “as per airline policy, amount is non-refundable” contradicts full refund.

    The concerned authority you “updated to” tried calling me once at 1 AM local time. Next day I provided them with a time which worked well for both the parties and they replied “we will try calling you during that time”, which was 10-11 AM IST on a workday. To your surprise, they have not called me yet.

        Sir.. It is really shameful the way ease my trip is working and i {shyama kundu} is truly victimised by them.. The thing is i booked a ticket from surat to kolkata with spicejet sg-377 for 11th of august 2019{dep - 14.50, arrival-17.35} from ease my trip with booking id is emt59931256 and the total cost was 13812.. But due to some personal reasons i had to reschedule my flight on to 25th august with the same flight career, same time and gradually i was charged extra for reschedule charges with ease my trip.. And my new amount was..18663... Later the flight from spicejet got cancelled on 25 th of august and gradually i called the spicejet authorities... And they assured that u will be getting the refund of the entire money and we{the spicejet} will not be charging anything form our side.. And so they requested to carry forward this message to ease my trip authorities for the easy refund initiation... When i then called the ease my trip authorities.. They said u need to cancel the ticket from the app and then only the refund will be initiated,, i gradually did so and i got the old amount of 13812 that too not easily... By calling them twice or more... But the rest rescheduling amount of 4851... Till date it is 2nd of dec, 2019 i have not received that inspite of calling them repeatedly for months... Whenever i am calling them.. They r saying we r taking ur complain.. U will get ur money back within 2 to 3 days and this very delaying attitude is going on since months... The thing is why i will be loosing my own 4851 rupees and where the airline career has said me.. That we are not charging anything from our side.. I feel the travel company ease my trip is solely responsible now and i request the consumer forum to help me getting my hard earned money back... I will be obliged if i get any help..

          I would like to highlight that our experience till now is very pathetic both with ease my trip and oman air and this being our first time international travel, it was highly stressful experience for us and we are still looking for a solution over a month after completion of the trip. Both ease my trip and oman air have failed to hear out or help us with our grievance and pointed fingers at each other making us, the customers suffer. I need an urgent refund.

          Please read my case below in detail :

          1. A few days after booking our tickets online via ease my trip, we start receiving multiple emails from oman air saying our return flight has been cancelled. We contacted ease my trip many times. They told us over phone to wait for a few days as oman air would provide us an alternate option as the fate of the flight was still undecided.

          2. Halfway through our travel, we receive email confirming our flight is cancelled from ease my trip. They inform us that we can ask for an alternate flight or ask for a refund. Our family was travelling with an infant as well as senior citizens and we did not wish to get in the hassle of getting transit visas / accommodation on airport.in short, a long layover was not ideal for us.

          3. Following this, confused and stressed we email and call ease my trip call center in delhi multiple times. Ease my trip call center informs us repeatedly to call oman air and that there is nothing that ease my trip can do about this.

          4. With no help from ease my trip, i call the call contact number on the oman air website which reaches the oman air muscat call center. Oman air call center executive heard my case, they offer me an option of another flight which leaves almost 12 hours earlier (With a 8 hour layover at night) than my original cancelled flight (Subject to availability). Regarding providing accommodation at muscat airport too they said it would be subject to availability. Regarding transit visa they said i would only be given info upon arrival in muscat. This had already got us confused and highly stressed.

          5. We finally decided that neither of the two alternate flights provided to us by oman air were suitable for us. I called oman air call center muscat again asking for refund and was informed by them that the refund/cancellation department was separate and the only way to contact them was over email. They asked me to email [protected]@omanair.com for the same. I was not asked if my booking was through travel agent or directly via oman air website. I was only asked the ticket number. I repeatedly informed that we were not going to take the alternate flights. I then proceeded to email [protected]@omanair.com (Screenshot attached) cc to [protected]@ease my trip - explaining the situation and asking for a refund for the return journey, six days before my return journey. I had to wait as the automated response said their turnaround time was 15 days. (I later learned this was not the right place to email as they only deal with direct online bookings through oman air website and not bookings via travel agents.)

          7. On the same day, i receive an email from oman air sending me new tickets as they had already put me on one of the earlier flights. Oman air did not call or email to ask us for confirmation before putting us on an alternate flight as they had earlier told us that everything was subject to availability. They directly put us on the earlier flight. Hence, i repeatedly emailed [protected]@omanair.com (Screenshot attached) cc to [protected]@easemytrip again informing them that we would not be taking any alternate flights and that we just wanted a refund. (All emails were sent 6 days before scheduled cancelled/alternate return flight date). I kept calling oman air muscat and ease my trip during this time informing them repeatedly that we will not be taking any alternate flights and that we wanted a refund.

          We booked new return flight tickets from dublin (Where we were at that point of travel) to hyderabad via ethihad airlines through ease my trip emt64194348. This whole process of calls-emails-bookings was highly stressful and cost us an additional rs. 1, 58, 412.00 as we had to reach hyd on 13th oct for multiple reasons.

          8. After we travelled back to india and again began a series of calls and an email loops with completely unsatisfactory responses. Initially ease my trip was not at all ready to help us. Every time i called the call center, the executives would ask us to contact oman air and we were told there was nothing ease my trip could do about it. Oman air on the other had send us responses via email asking us to contact local services or travel agents. I have placed multiple calls after returning back to hyderabad to ease my trip and multiple emails to [protected]@omanair.com cc to [protected]@easemytrip receiving only single line responses. I am stuck in a web of emails and calls where ease my trip and oman air, both, are asking me to contact the other. Ease my trip, after multiple call requests, decided to help me, however, they claim that oman air's only response to them was that our flight shows a status of "no show". Ease my trip call center executives have informed me that they themselves have escalated the request to oman air multiple times, but their requests were rejected. Ease my trip call center executives have said my case is "complicated" and they themselves have tried everything they can. There are no direct contact numbers for complaints to oman air however, i have recorded my grievance in the feedback form on the oman air website.

          I am at at my wits end and have reached the limit of explaining this matter over and over and over again to multiple call center executives and writing it over multiple emails. Not only was my trip filled with stress, but we continue to experience it still. We refuse to be tossed around in a game of ping pong ball between oman air and ease my trip. The cancellation of the flight was not my fault. We shouldn't have to place multiple calls (International and local) and write multiple emails just to make sure we get a refund of a flight cancellation that is not our fault. I have been misled my both ease my trip and oman air call center executives to a dead end. There is a lack of co-ordination between your departments between countries and i repeat, its not my fault.

            I have cancelled a ticket on[protected] booking id emt65029892 for which until today nov 28th 2019 i havent received the refund. Inspite of three times follow up, its not done. And the phone banking officer doesnt have a good customer service sense to handle the problem maturely. She keeps on repeating like a recorder of what she has to tell, rather than understanding the clients questions.

            I would want an compensation for this amount since its more than a month delay from your end.

            If not i would proceed the same in consumer court.

              Dear sir or madam,

              My flight from delhi to amritsar (6e-5024 with indigo airlines) on the 4th of november got cancelled 3 hours before the estimated departure. When i arrived in delhi and went to the indigo airlines customer service counter, they told me they were processing the refund and i would get it in 5 working days.

              But, when i called them this morning, they told me they were not able to give me my refund because they did not have my bank details. They also told me that i had to ask you whether you could process that refund for this cancelled flight. I precise that i did not cancel this flight, it was cancelled due to operational reasons.

              I am only contacting you now because indigo told me they were taking the responsability for the refund but apparently they cannot.

                I booked my ticket (3 passengers) from bangalore to mumbai on 21.04.2019 with jet airways 9w 478. (Pnr qqphpm). Due to jet airways operational issues, i cancelled my ticket prior to journey. I requested easymytrip to refund my full amount which they have agreed and promised also.

                However, till today, i. E. On 13.11.2019, after 7 months, i have not received any refund amount from eastmytrip even after several reminders, followups and phone calls.

                Every time they reply that we are following up with airline, even they are not sharing any proof that they are claiming for my refund. And second thing jet airways has declared certain list for refund. Easemytrip is not having any transparency in handling such cases.

                Pl. Look into the matter and resolve my complain on immediate basis.

                I feel from all the above complaints raised in terms of refund from ease my trip the process is pathetic. Customer service has to be really improved.
                I am still waiting to get the refund of my ticket cancellation from last 18 months. Still EaseMyTrip is playing with customer. They do all false promises.

                  On 6th november, 2019 i had booked three return tickets for goa and made an online payment of 26, 376 for return tickets to goa. i had made a booking on vistara and indigo for 3 passengers and as soon as the payment was made, the page vanished without any confirmation. I did not hear from the portal, till i called the customer service, who said that payments take 40 minutes sometimes to be actioned. If the confirmation wasnt made, the payment would be refunded but even after 3 hours i did not receive any decline in payment or confirmation.
                  The money was withdrawn from the account.

                  When i called in, i was given details of my tickets, but was told the payment was pending due to fare difference inr 4000/ and i had to reissue the ticket amount and the initial payment which was taken would be returned after 40 days.
                  When i raised an alarm about this, they quickly reverted saying we can change your flight and pushed the cheaper fare of indigo on me.

                  The amount they deducted from my account was 26, 376 but put me on the indigo flights that came to 26, 094. the first flights had meals included and refundable tickets, the later ones had no meals covered. The staff promised to include it in.
                  What is strange is that the portal still shows my initial flight details and payment invoice, however the portal sent me both flight confirmations however the pnr number doesnt work for the vistara flight but only the indigo ones. The wallet has no credit of my excess fare returned.

                  customer care called. the number was +91 11-43030303. They are not changing my flight back to Vistara as already they have booked me on Indigo return. So, they will refund my balance amount, which they say they have already processed. Since Vistara had included meals in the ticket, on that route they have compensated me with a meal. Thank you.

Since the Vistara ticket had meals included they have now ensured that one way indigo flight meal is covered. Thank you for ensuring justice.

                    Today morning i. E.9/11/2019, i had booked two tickets for senior citizens to go to durg, chattisgarh from varanasi, up in sarnath express train in ac first class.
                    Perhaps the tickets were not booked and so, not received by me but money is deducted from my sbi master card/debit card.
                    I am trying to know about the position if the tickets are not booked then i have to book it again but no one is responding me since then even phone calls are not attended by anybody.,
                    It is very bad for company and no one may have trust on such company in future if the issue is not settled by today itself.
                    I want to know clearly about the position of my ticket booking and if i have to book it again, i need my money back for it.

                      Hello,

                      I have just spoken to qantas after filing a complaint for not hearing back from them only to find out that as per qantas that ticket is open and can be used again within a year but i need to contact agent which in this case would be easy my trip and gajaanan travels to organise that. Mumbai qantas has mentioned nothing about the charges only that this ticket is open to be reused.

                      I demand someone as this is ongoing issue since 7.10.19 to respond and attend to this asap and send me the open ticket so we can re use this.

                      If i do not hear back from ease my trip asap i will be left with no other option but to file a formal complaint against ease my trip. As a customer i am not disappointed but i feel being harassed, tormented as the reason for the ticket change was medical emergency all paperwork was attached (Cabg surgery of father of my husband whose ticket is in question). There has been no sympathy or compasion shown by your company. If anything in a difficult the company has wasted more than a month now not helping just causing distress. I expect a written response mind you i do not want an automated email to raise we apologise for the inconvenience or that raise a ticket number. I expect a written solution or i will resort to legal action as this has been the worst experience in a very trying situation.

                      Ease my trip has made my trip really dissapointing stressful and just exhausting.

                      I hope this will be rectified and would like an answer asap.

I requested for cancellations of tickets in no-show mood also talked with airlines i. E goair. Airlines provided refund of amount 1678 rupees to easemytrip on 23th oct and also send me the details of that in my mail. But instead of 1678 rupeess company provide me only 91 rupees.                           I have booked the ticket from Nagpur to Bombay on dated 28/10/2019. I had to book it for the next day.But mistakenly, I booked it on 28/10/2019 instead of 29/10/2019. So I had to cancel it. After cancellation airline charged me Rs.3000. And ease my trip charged me Rs.250.My total fare price of the flight was Rs.5319. The total amount 'EASE MY TRIP' has to refund me is Rs.2069.

                                I had booked a flight ticket from nagpur to chennai on 18.10.19 by using mob. No.[protected]. My bank account was immediately debited by an amount of rs.6776. However, i neither received the mail on my email nor confirmation from you. I was under the impression that i wl receive the confirmation soon. But to my utter shock, when i contacted the customer care, i learnt that my ticket was not booked as the fare has been hiked and the service provider has suo motto initiated the refund process. Till date, i. E., 22.10.2019, i hv not received the refund. I hv bn told to wait for another 7 to 9 days. Since im urgently required to go to chennai on medical grounds, i had no alternative but to book another ticket by paying a premium of 600 per ticket for two tickets. The lethargic attitude of the service provided has kept the valued customers at bay. It can only be inferred that easemytrip has no concern whatsoever for the customer's interest and they are leased bothered.
                                I hv used ur service for the first time and im completely dissatisfied with ur service.
                                Last but not the least, i wl never recommend ur service to anyone and yes im afraid if i wl get any refund from you.

                                  I booked a ticket through easemy trip. At that time the price fare was 4650, it went through the payment gateway and the money got deducted. But the transaction was showing pending. After repeated calls i see that they said the airline (Airasia) increases the price so you have to pay extra, for which i said no and they rejected it.
                                  But when i opened the airlines the prices were same. They are just increasing the price to fool the customer. Even after rejection they are not sending teh refund mail. After repeated calls they sent the refund mail.

                                  Even i am not sure how long they will take to refund the full amount. Will keep this open till i get the refund.

                                      I booked 3 flight tickets on 17 of october 2019 from bangalore to goa in air asia for 29 october 2019.
                                      The sum total of rs.5313 was shown and the payment was made. The amount was successfully deducted but when i saw in the app it showed that the transaction was failed while the amount was deducted from my account. And also the payment status in the booking was shown to be pending. I tried calling their customer care several times but nobody received my call in-spite of showing that they provide 24/7 customer service which was very disappointing as their was no immediate assistance provided. Will i get a refund? Or will my tickets be booked? Please resolve this issue soon and oblige.
