Freecharge.in is a portal to facilitate online recharge of Mobile phones and DTH service.
I have faced several cases where money is deducted from my bank account but rechare is not done.
Again to get the refund I had to wait over a week.

This complaint is about the unfit service of the same. Unless they ensure the transactions through their portal is smooth and successful, they should stop their business.

    NOT RECHARGED AND DEDUCTED AMOUNT FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT

    I RECHARGED MY MOBILE NO [protected] WITH Rs.20 THREE TIMES THROUGH MY PERSONAL BANKING. MONEY DEDUCTED 3 TIMES TOTAL Rs. 60. BUT MY PHONE WAS NOT RECHARGED. SEND MY AMOUNT THROUGH RECHARGE OR MY ACCOUNT

    Refund amount not credited in my wallet

    My recharge of tata photon plus was failed on 10.06.2016. order number FCCA[protected]. But the refund amount not credited in my freecharge wallet or bank account yet.

      I made two payments today the 30th August 2012. The first one was for TATASKY DTH but it was never recharged, so must have failed but my account was debited with Rs.519. The second i recharged my Aircel mobile and my account was debited with Rs.518 but the request to recharged failed. Both transactions failed but the total amount debited from my account is Rs.1037/- and I never got any coupons for that matter. I do not have the order numbers and when i look in my account to check, it states that there are no orders in my account. So i am confused and very dissapointed and demand that you refund the total amount to me immediately.

      I am experiencing a similar thing. Freecharge is swag, and fraud!
      I recharged for Rs 50 for my mobile and the money debited from my account but no recharge or transaction happened, nothing shows in the freecharge account history or credits.
      The company can anytime be banned under the Cyber Frauds of the IT ACT 2000.

        I have done recharge of Rs. 299+10 on mobile no. [protected] using www.freecharge.in twice on 22/8/2012 3:15:54 PM from our end with transaction id is [protected] and Mon, Aug 13, 2012 at 5:00 PM [protected] and i did not receive any recharge on my mobile no. but my money got deducted on both the days which incurred a total loss of Rs. 369.00 to me. I mailed them regarding this hoping that they will resolve this issue but they did not even care of replying my back. Below are the details of my recharge.

        Freecharge.in — money deducted but not yet refunded

        On 22 Feb 2011 I have tried to recharge my mobile no. 9833****** from Freecharge.in during the transaction Payment has been done successfully but my mobile no. 9833****** was not recharged.
        I waited for few days for refund from freecharge.in but my money was not refunded in my bank account.
        So i have written a mail to [protected]@freecharge.in but did not get any response.
        After that i have sent many mails & also tried to contact on their Help line no #[protected], but they have never responded.
        Please look into the matter and give refund for my money.

        Freecharge.in — Money Deducted but mobile not recharged

        Hi Sir,
        I was trying to recharge my mobile on 14-jan-2012.
        The balance of Rs.210 has been deducted from my account but my mobile has not been recharged yet.

        i tried to recharge my mobile [protected] fot the second time today with www.freecharge.in the amount was deducted from my ing vysya bank account 7590*****832 but recharge was not successfull . lost 430 rupees. this website seems to be fake it doesnt have phone support too. the second time i lost my money did not register complaint also. its showing some error.
        Hi i have tried recharging my vodafone number for Rs.50 through freecharge on my ICICI Bank Debit card... I got a error message stating " we are sorry transaction is failed" but the amount has been deducted from my bank account... Please refund back the amount..           Complaint reference #183120.
          Money deducted but no recharge. Looks like a bad decision of having availed their service. Raised complaint and still awaiting response so long..
          I'm the one who made above complaint and got it resolved. Excepting for the fact that they don't have a public accessible customer desk, they do have a very courteous process of handling / resolving issues. Many a time we start feeling impatient as we start running out of options to track issues. But end of the day i got a response back and ofcourse its a no fault of the portal itself but from other end (My DTH provider donot allow certain denominations to be recharged online ) was the cause of the problem.
          My suggestion to follow up with their support email

                  I recharged my tata sky setup box yesterday using www.freecharge.in.My subscriber id is [protected].I recharged it for Rs. 400.After typing my internet security password a blank screen appeared and on the address bar it was written as success.The amount has been deducted from my axis bank account.And there is no invoice number given to me.The following is the transaction details from the bank:-

                  I recharged 3664 INR fro KOTAK Debit card to pay Vodafone postpaid bill. Amount got deducted and no recharge done. No reply to emails and there is no customer care number. This is absolute fraud and Indian government must push them behind the bars - to stop them cheating innocent people.

                    I recharged my Idea cell from Freecharge.in first recharge was of Rs 49 which happened instantly while second recharge was of Rs 250 which did not happened, I got the order details mail from freechrge,in but recharge does not happen and so i did not get any recharge receipt mail.

                    Also when i logged in freecharge.in in my accounts tab there was my order tab when i clicked on that there was no details of my Rs 250 recharge and last recharge it was showing was of Rs 49.

                          I have recharged my mobile from freecharge.in. Order ID: 16926271. They have tie up IB couriers to deliver the coupons.

                          IB Courier did not delivered any coupons. When I inquired first the status was not available for 1 week and then they updated status that it is received. When asked about acknowledgement they sent fake snapshot. This has happened many times. Intentionally I recharged different numbers. Every time they are using recharged number in the acknowledgement slip though address is same and I never received it.

                          So Freecharge along with IB couriers is making people fool and doing fraud on mass basis.

                          Please lodge a consumer complaint against them.

I recharge with 98 Rs amount deducted from my credit card and balance not come i complaint regarding that the repiled me "Your order id 16547629 is an abandoned transaction. If any amount debited from your account, it will reflect in 3-7 working days as per the bank's process"
                            but still i not receive any amount in my account.

                            2 Today again i recharge with 300 Rs and same thing happen my amount is deducted from my account but same balance is not yet come in my mobile account.i got a message "Transcation of 300 rs Made on your SBI Credit card XXXX at Accelyst solutions -AVENUE ON 25 JULY"

                              I don't know about Accelyst Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and i never done any type of online transactions. but on 19/07/2012 @ 3.00am(aprox) my Axis Bank account were debited for total amount of Rs. 15,752/- with different transactions within small duration and it was credited to ACCELYST SOLLUTIONS. I have made a complaint in Bank about this fraudulent online transactions.

                                    I have not received coupons for my previous two order ids:
                                    [protected]Apr-12) and[protected]Jun-12). Earlier also this has happened.

                                    On complaining for the id 14018181 on 17th May, I got a reply giving me the tracking number and courier company's phone number (BlazaFlash - Sakid[protected]/71). But that number has never ever been contactable. And the tracking number is displayed as invalid by the Blazeflash website.

                                    Basically I'm dealing with freecharge and why should I be running after any courier company. Plus look at the time taken. It is even more relevant since the coupons have an expiry date and obviously it will be impossible to use all the coupons
