We regret to note your continued disappointment with the cancellation of G8-228 from Srinagar to Kolkata on 02 October due to operational reasons. GoAir will endeavor to operate the flights as per schedule, however GoAir reserves its right to cancel, reschedule or delay the commencement or continuance of any flight or alter the stopping place or deviate from the route of the journey without thereby incurring any liability in terms of compensation, damages or loss whether direct, indirect, consequential or special or otherwise in any manner whatsoever. In case of any such cancellation or rescheduling of any flight due to any reason including reasons beyond our control, GoAir assumes no responsibility. The same is also mentioned on our website https://www.goair.in/terms-conditions.
We had the matter re-investigated and understand that our team tried contacting you on the details present in the reservation ([protected]). However, there was no response received and hence an SMS was sent and the same was also not delivered. Further, an email was sent to [protected]@makemytrip.com to notify you about the cancellation of flight and the same was delivered.We regret if the overall handling did not meet your expectations.

Passenger Name : Mazhar Imam, Rushda Matin and Hammad EmamKolkata to Srinagar and Srinagar to KolkataAttached : ticket . I would like to bring one of the situations in your notice. Which I underwent Last week on 2nd of October 2017, I had a flight scheduled Srinagar to Kolkata at 18:50 .I was travelling with my family, including 1 year kid. On the same day, when I reached the airport around 17:00 (5 pm), I was informed that the flight has been cancelled due to sun set Issue (no one has given prior intimation of the cancellation nether from Makemytrip nor GO AIR). In none of the way, it was taken care to inform me about the cancellation beforehand .The way next day due to some terrorist attack the whole city under immense tension and with an infant along, you may imagine how tenseful was for me to be in the 3rd of October 2017 .I was offered the next day flight for 3rd October derouted from Mumbai which took more than 10 hour for me to reach my destination.Sir the conclude, I and my family esp my kids went through a lot of frustration and exertion for 2 days .I expect a compensation. I demand full refund for my tickets amount and compensation as the airline and has fooled us. This is no way to treat your customer and amend his/her travel dates as per airline’s convenience.Your ethics are a pity and I am going to make sure that this incident outreaches as many people and on as many social platforms possible.
