I purchase internet services from hathway broadband more than 2 years agon with account number [protected] after some days uses, a sales person from their team came and told us we have another good schemen i will give you new connectin and close old one, we agreed, he by mistake gave us new account with wrong name new account no. Is [protected], actually it was not mistake he did it purposefully, we struggled to change the name first, and we were using inky new account. We went out of india but new account was being used, suddenly after some days i received invoice for old account and i sent mutiple emails to close that account but few months ago hathway firghtened us through some calls to pay 10000rs+ amount for old account and we paid also and hathway didn't close that account and again asking us for more money and new account we wre paying continuously. Now i want tat bth account should be closed and when we not used old account since more than 2 years we should get our 10k + rs as well as all accounts should be closed immediately.
It is not clear what is closure process and they say it takes more than a month but their billing does not stop. I am really not sure why can't they stop connection as easily as they give new one.
I opted for pre paid service than how come they continued old connection and asked me for charge.
Their departments don't have any coordination and they don't reply to emails.
There is no escalation email id also.
Please help.
