I paid my hathway broadband bill on friday, 26 april. It has been 2 days and i have still not got any internet connection.

Whenever i call their useless customer care number, they tell me that it will be activated in the next 1 hour or next 4 hours or next 12 hours.

I have called the customer care number at least 10 times in the last 2 days and i am now helpless and do not know what to do.

I want a refund for my bill as soon as possible.

    My package expired on 26/04/2019. I am not getting any channels since 26/04/2019.
    When i try to select the channels and pay using hathway site my wallet is showing negative balance of -325.06 and selected amount getting added to this amount and asking to pay negative balance too
    Please do rectify this cause as soon as possible
    Hathway customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
    We have given money to recharge to om sai cable but they are saying everyday they will recharge...But they are not at all doing.please take action against them asap.

      I got call from operator and he took 2289 for 3 months diamond plan on 26.4.2019 i. E yesterday only... And operator came and said to me no installation can be done here as we do not have fibre box here... He came on bike and run away... And then he did not pick my calls... Hathway is very big cheater... I spoke to hyderabad main office they did not do anything... I have all the bills paid online as... Please never trust hathway

      My local cable operator of hathway send me 6 months advance bill and after sending it he has yet to come for payment but without giving me any prior notice he shut my cable. Who has given him rights to ask for advance payment of 6 months, though I am ready to pay but no one from his side come to received payment.

        Hello,

        I have hathway broadband prepaid connection and recharged it for 3 months in advance including month of april 2019.
        I raised the connection shifting request with hathway broadband bangalore on 8th april 2019. Its been 19-20 days now hathway broadband setup is not relocated at my new location.

        Every time, i call customer care about my connection shifting request, i get either of these answers -
        1. Ma’am it will be done today or tomorrow.
        2. Ma’am our team will check the hathway broadband feasibility in your area.
        Any broadband provider needs 20 days to just check the broadband connection feasibility???

        Till date i am waiting for the call/response from the hathway broadband team.

        I raised a concern with hathway broadband nodal officer on 19 april 2019 (I. E. Last friday) but unfortunately no action is taken yet.

        Broadband provider should understand pain customer is facing without internet.
        It has impacted my day to day activities (Personal as well as professional work) very badly. I am not able to use the internet services for which i have already paid.

        Do you really care about the customer??? OMG, Hathway closed my ticket without setting the wifi completely. How can be a internet provider is so irresponsible???

        From when broadband started working by only putting the cable at the someone's place. As per Hathway, ticket for the shifting is closed by just putting the cable without joining the cable to modem. If this is the case, then I want to know how many KB of data I have used in last 2 days if setup is completely done.

        If the setup is done then why even today(29 April 2019) I called customer care??? Also, your customer care executive said that today I will get the call from the team responsible for complete setup (cable and modem connection).

        You can check the helpdesk ticket (case ID CAS-50140-L3T0H5) and today's customer care call recording at around 10:25 AM IST.

        It's very surprising that Hathway is misleading Customer as well as Customer Consumer Forum.

          I relocated to the same area in kondapur. It is just 0.5 km.
          While doing renewal, you agent said they will shift the connection to the new place. I specifically asked the question regarding shifting to new location.
          But now technicial is saying the area is non feasible. He said amount will be refunded.
          But nobody is responding about my refund.

            Gtpl is operating t. V. Channel company in our area i. E. Godrej garden city, jagatpur, ahmedabad 382470. This t. V. Channel operator is not allowing us to select t. V. Channel [ on a-la-cart basis ] as per our choice. They are compulsorily charging rs.130+100 =230 and single channel choice [i. E. One channel from sony + one channel from zee + one channel from starplus is not allowed. But as per trai orders every consumer is free to take whatever channel they like.

              Please be informed that that i have paid for “times bouquet”, but i am not able to view “times now” channel no. 250.
              In this connection i have lodged complaints on 20th, 21st and 22nd april 21019, bearing nos. C 69398, w 509908 and c71231.
              I regret that till date no action has been taken.

              Let me also add that your call center [protected] responds “your call is very important to us” but calls gets disconnected after 6 to 7 minutes without being answered and one has to make 3 to 4 attempts to talk to the concerned executive. Suggest you improve the call center service also. Thanks.

                Hi team,
                I purchase internet services from hathway broadband more than 2 years agon with account number [protected] after some days uses, a sales person from their team came and told us we have another good schemen i will give you new connectin and close old one, we agreed, he by mistake gave us new account with wrong name new account no. Is [protected], actually it was not mistake he did it purposefully, we struggled to change the name first, and we were using inky new account. We went out of india but new account was being used, suddenly after some days i received invoice for old account and i sent mutiple emails to close that account but few months ago hathway firghtened us through some calls to pay 10000rs+ amount for old account and we paid also and hathway didn't close that account and again asking us for more money and new account we wre paying continuously. Now i want tat bth account should be closed and when we not used old account since more than 2 years we should get our 10k + rs as well as all accounts should be closed immediately.

                It is not clear what is closure process and they say it takes more than a month but their billing does not stop. I am really not sure why can't they stop connection as easily as they give new one.
                I opted for pre paid service than how come they continued old connection and asked me for charge.
                Their departments don't have any coordination and they don't reply to emails.

                There is no escalation email id also.

                Please help.
                Hathway feedback on site also doesn't work.

                  I've taken prepaid broadband connection on 2nd april and since then the nightmare started. It haven't worked for a day properly. Everytime i call their customer service, they say that they would send their engineer in 24 - 48 working hours and no "engineer" would turn up. And it has completely stopped working on 16th of april and since then i've been chasing them to get it fixed. No "engineer" turns up and they claim that as per their policy, they wouldn't refund even though when they does not provide service. It really took me these many days to understand the way hathway team is scamming people with all their wrong product specifications (I paid for 50mbps connection, it doesn't even come 50 bps speed in fact) and they give a deaf ear when any customer raises a complaint. This is how hathway is cheating with their "prepaid" plans.

                    I have a hathway broadband connection for 2 years. I have shifted the house to new location which there is no hathway network. However, i am getting at least 8-10 calls every day since then from hathway. Inspite of multiple requests to the sales representative, i am still getting calls. Moreover, the calls are coming from more than 20 different mobile numbers, which i have blocked individually. Request you to stop this harassment. Today received the call from this number ([protected]) and i asked how many times will you call in a day and shez replying rashly and saying we will call what ever you want you can do.
                    Please take action and request to stop this newsense.

                        Hi, my account no. [protected]. I need to relocate within the city (Bangalore) when i requested hathway to transfer my internet connection, they informed me that the broadband service is not available in the new location hence i have to disconnect the service. However when i asked them what is the procedure to disconnect they told their billing and technical team will call me back.

                        However even after i followed up with customer care multiple times, i am yet to get any call back from them.

                        I had paid money for 6 months package and after 2 months o[censored]sage i will be disconnecting. Hence when i asked about the refund, the one of the customer care executives told that i will get back pro-rated basis refund and the billing team will call me back for refund details.

                        But there is literally no communication from hathway side.

                        I want to disconnect the service by april 26 2019.

                          Sir my name is shaikh hafeez i am from purna, district-parbhani i have gtpl cable service at home. Trai has set ncf is 130+gst=153 and then customer which channel want to choose they can choose but our cable provider taking two diffrent ncf first 153/-rs has trai set and second is 20/-rs. If i take just 1 channel cable operator adding two ncf and not giving gst bill to us it is request to you please take some strictly action agains them as soon as possible following are cable provider contact details.

                            I am using hathway cable from 29th september, 2018 and paying rs. 310 per month to their agent as pre paid.in the month of february and march 2019 they recharged by their own without my consent and mostly provided not usefull channels and got disconnected by 18th of march, 2019.
                            After selecting the plan for april they are demanding payment for last two months also else they will not recharge the box.

                              Sir, hathaway cable karnataka is not following the new rules. And they are not giving prompt service to the customer. They have own packages. For example simply people asking about color tv packages or sony tv packages. But hathaway asking us pay 310 rs and choose your choice of channels. How about this nonsense. Sir please take complaint immediately.

                                I called your technicians many times but no use. Hence kindly take necessary action on it asap

                                    I had a Hathway Broadband connection which I wanted to cancel and I told the customer care representatives multiple times and provided them all the details. Even after all this they still call me multiple times throughout the day and remind me about my renewal.

                                    No action has been taken regarding connection closure even after 3 months of requesting.

                                      I had applied for gtpl fiber broadband connection with 40mbps plan. They gathered and collected all the information/docs and payments first and then they have installed regular broadband connection instead of fiber. I tried to adjust myself with regular connection (40mbps) but i had never get a good speed.

                                      Attached is the screenshot of my speedtest when i have a speed of 40mbps

                                      I had registered complaint for 18 times to get my speed issue resolved but every time they say our technical team will visit your location. Till date nobody has visited the site & they automatically close my service request in 24 hours without fixing the issue. This happened to me every time. This clearly means that they dont care about the customers and are real fraudsters.

                                      If there is a way to give negative stars then i would prefer to give them minus -5*

                                      Guys use your mobile data instead of gtpl. It will be more convenient.
