The transaction was happened on 7th august 2017 through merchant "club mahindra" of amount rs. 31550.

I got a call from hdfc customer care telling that a transaction was happened on my credit card and they were asking whether i am authorizing it or not. I told that i have not made any transaction and i am not authorizing it. Once the call is disconnected, i found that i got a message in my mobile stating that rs 31550 was debited from my card. Soon i called customer care again and explained the situation and deactivated my card. I have also raised a complaint with hdfc team. They have reverted the amount on credit card as they were investigating on it.

After two months, i got reply from customer care providing the payment bill that was made by someone at club mahindra. The bill clearly shows someone's name, signature and other details. Only the credit card and it's expiry date was same.

I am not sure how hdfc can authorize this transaction without any otp or any other confirmation. They have again added this amount telling that i need to bear this amount. I have made multiple follow ups, but of no use. They were asking me to contact merchant and get the cancellation proof.

Every month during the time of payment, hdfc team call me up and asking for the payment, but there is no action from their end to resolve the issue. Even i have made a payment amount of rs. 1850 as it was the last date and they assured that they will resolve the issue soon.

Currently the total due amount is of around rs 50, 000.

Request you to look into the issue and help me to resolve it soon. Awaiting for your reply.

Dear Sir

As suggested, I had reverted with duly filled and signed form to the Credit Card Dispute team. But I got a reply as below.

"We inform that the transactions prior to Apr 2018 statement are time barred to initiate liaison with the concerned member bank/merchant establishment. Kindly revert if any further assistance required regarding your card account, we would be glad to assist you."

Hence could you please look into the issue and help to resolve at the earliest. Please let me know how to proceed further on this.

    deduction of amount in my account in the name of asd and dcd.

    I have my account with hdfc bank since april 2011. And it deducts huge amount of money as soon as amount deposited in account. Amount deposited in september'2017 & amount deposited in july'2018. A/c statement shows it as asd & dcd amounting rs. 708 (6 times a day = - rs. 4248) & 300+ (2-3 times in a day) what is this asd & dcd stands for. Why amount cuts from account electronically without prior information also not shown in banks details,...

    Hdfc credit card collection agents promised me noc after paying the settlement amount as per their instructions which i did. After paying the entire money collection agent raghvendra from hdfc credit card bangalore branch has stopped taking calls. I dont have any more money. Other collection agents have started calling me for outstanding. What should be done in this case? Can a criminal case be filed against raghavendra and hdfc?

          I have received an email stating that my one assist services will be renewed automatically and charges will be debited. My card number ends with 6828, registered number is [protected] and one assist member id is [protected]. I am not interested in this service and want this service to be canceled completely. Kindly process it asap to avoid unnecessary proceedings to refund after debit.

            Hi, my name is abhishek sharma and my hdfc cc ([protected]) expired in mar-2018 i am still waiting for new card, but bank is charging service fees every month. This seems to be very tricky - banks normally get the alert generated for all cc that are expired and they have plenty of checks every where - than why they are not using this kind of check for customer service. I have heard from many people this keeps on happening and hdfc is only one of the major bank doing this.

              My credit card got expired hence they send other card to my address but i have not yet received the card but showing statement balance of 2, 379.00, i have not received the card itself not even activated the card than how my statement balance can be 2379, & also the new card is visible as activated card in my net banking, when my old card complete bill was cleared & there is no emi also & new card i have not received & activated than how statement balance of 2379?

              I can't check in internet as it is showing service unavailable, i went to bank they call customer care than that customer care has given another customer care no, whole day tried inside bank but that customer care no was coming every time busy, bank people told me they are helpless to help me out only customer care can solve my problem & that customer care is coming busy than how to solve my problem when bank people is saying i am helpless to help you out.
              I want bank to clear the statement balance to zero & deactivate or block my credit card & resend other card to my address asap.

                Hdfc bank,

                I had applied for the credit card before 20 days ago although all the verification has been done via physically and via call.
                But after all the activity i didn't receive my card. When am checking via web there is showing status is in process.

                Guy's please don't make fool if you can't please directly denied that we can't.. It was my 1st experience with hdfc and am totally disappointed with you guy's and make sure in future i'll never recommend anyone to connect with you...

                      My number was auto-registered for smartpay. This never worked for me when my mobile operator was idea. Now i have ported to airtel and you have deducted money saying that you have recharged my number successfully and your customer service is so worst that they are being rude saying i need to contact them and say i have ported my number to airtel.
                      Why would i contact you to give all my information?
                      Has it worked for me once, i would have updated from my end.
                      Your customer service guys does not even know the meaning of disputing a charge and they shout back, disconnect the calls. For this reason, i had to call multiple time with no resolution for it.
                      They say that they have de-registered smartpay when i have already done it from my end.
                      One says the charge will be refunded only when they cancel from their end. (Just cancelling from their end)
                      This is not what we expect from a private bank.

                        Hi,

                        I just found out that an amount of ₹133.26 and ₹27.98 deducted from my account today (24th july, 2018).

                        I haven't done any international transactions, then why are those amounts were deducted from my account.

                        Ref/ cheque no. Mir[protected]. Dc intl pos txn markup+st[protected]mir[protected] deducted amount = 133.26

                        And ref/ cheque no. Mir[protected]. Dc intl pos txn markup+st[protected]mir[protected] deducted amount = 27.98

                        I want an immediate refund of those amounts, as if they are deducted accidentally, or provide me full description, for why such things happens.

                        Please reply fast.

                        There is a currency conversion markup of 3.5 % on foreign currency transactions carried out on debit cards as Transaction amount + Difference in foreign currency Rate (Its the difference in foreign currency rate on the date of the transaction and on the date of settlement {Receipt of claim from acquiring bank}). Charges are applicable for ATM withdrawals and also for POS transaction. The exchange rate used will be the Visa/MasterCard wholesale exchange rate prevailing at the time of the transaction. The charges are deducted for transactions done on 14.07.18.                           I opened a salary account with hdfc in 2010 which was zero balance account. I was told that i can have zero balance without any charge.in 2013, my salary stopped crediting to this account. And in 2017, my account balance reached close to rs 4000. When i logged in to my account 2 months back, i came to know balance is rs -8000 (Negative). Whatever statements i was getting for my account, it always says zero balance. Never says negative balance. When i went to hdfc bank, they says i have to maintain minimum balance of rs 10, 000. That's the meaning of zero balance account. After having long arguments with bank manager, he said if you make big investment here with us (Close to 20 lacs), i can waive off all charges. (Close to rs 12000). Otherwise you will have to pay more. Few days back, one payment of more than rs 1 lac got credited to my account. Now all negative balance got adjusted. Wow, i had great loss having account with hdfc. W

                          Suggesting all not to open an account with hdfc if you don't want bank to eat up all your hard earned money.

                          Many of my friends have faced this issue.

                            I took hdfc suraksha policy, as per the policy it says for loss of job will bare 3 months emi i lost the job in the month of jan-2018 also i have submitted the required documents later i received an email need of 26as since i have sent it to the concern email later i called to the customer service they said it was received claim is in process for 2 months now they are saying they haven’t received it i don’t know why hdfc ergo is making me to cheat 33, 000/-. I assume if i would have taken a death coverage for 50 lakhs defenetly my nominee wont get it because for a 33, 000/- itself can’t able to bare really feel ashamed to taken a insurance with hdfc.

                              I ordered a product from Paytm Mall app using HDFC bank debit card but it got cancelled due to certain reasons and Paytm claimed that the amount has already been refunded from their side but i didn't get my refund.And its already more than a month.I would request the bank to refund my amount as soon as possible or else i will have to take a action against them.

                                I am a hdfc bank credit card holder. The bank has auto debited rs. 1399/- from my credit card number ending with 2465 without my concern on date:20/07/2018. I am not interested about this service and don't want this membership any more. So cancel the membership and refund this debited amount of rs.1399/-

                                  Dear concerned authority,

                                  I am a privileged customer of HDFC bank. I was assigned a credit card saying it is life time free of cost by Hdfc employee. The person who filled my form activated the smart pay feature without informing me and this caused me to pay an amount of around 2000 rs for no use. I paid this amount by visiting Hdfc Dunlop branch in Kolkata. They told me that as now I have paid the amount and cancelled the smart pay, I will not be charged anything in the future. I told them to cancel my card as well.

                                  After that I cancelled the smart pay feature by calling your call centre executive and also told to cancel my card. After that without informing me there was an activation charges for the credit card, I was charged for it. Now they have sent me a statement that I have to pay 3000 rs as activation charges. I was not informed by the credit card agent nor the bank about the charges. In fact I was told that the card is completely free.

                                  I am made a fool by the bank employees and am frustrated by the misguiding and fraud is done by HDFC bank. I will not pay any amount now. I also want the bank to pay me back my 2000 rs that I have paid earlier due to their lies. The bank representatives are continuously fooling me since the time they gave me the card. I also want the bank to cancel the credit card immediately, I do not want it. If you will not take any actions then we will have to go to the consumer forum and we will stop all current and future ties with your bank

                                  I want the bank to credit the rs 2000 app already paid by myself to the following account

I will not pay any amount now. Please also pay me back my 2000 rs that I have paid earlier due to your lies. Your representatives are continuously fooling me since the time they gave me the card. Please cancel the credit card immediately, I do not want it. If you will not take any actions then we will have to go to the consumer forum and we will stop all current and future ties with your bank

                                    I had applied for hdfc moneyback cc at hdfc bank mannually & submitted all the required documents and information for application form.
                                    I have also 812 credit score. Central govt. Employee where salary is above 25k.

                                    After a day or two received multiple sms and calls regarding cc processing, one of those sms was this :
                                    "dear applicant your hdfc bank credit card app ref no [protected]el is approved in principle subject to internal checks"

                                    After that received telephonic verification calls & physical verification at office & residential address.

                                    But yesterday i received mail from bank that they are incapable to process my application without specifying any reason. Following is the mail:
                                    "
                                    Dear sir/madam,
                                    Subject : your credit card application reference no. [protected]el
                                    Thank you for your interest in hdfc bank credit card.

                                    We wish to inform you that your application has been considered in line with the bank's internal credit policy (Which is based on a combination of financial and related criteria and/or statistically determined scores to assess credit eligibility) and operating/credit processes (Which include a combination of verifications, credit bureau reports and document verifications). We regret to inform you that we are unable to approve your application as it does not meet the above mentioned internal criteria of the bank.

                                    Please be assured that our inability to approve the credit card application does not reflect in anyway on your credit standing or your financial stability."

                                    It is really disappointing that after collecting all the docs and verifications still not giving the reason. This also makes feel insecure about our document to be miss used like pan card, aadhar card, bank statements, pay slips as all these are private properties.

                                    So hoping to get some resolution i am posting it here.

                                    I hve an ac with hdfc bank in neemuch(M.P.) branch... There is a employee of that branch named Ankit Tugnawat... I request so many times to convert my saving into classic ac...bt last 4 months there is no response from him...

                                      I would like to file fraud case against hdfc bank ltd, sector 63, noida

                                      I opened salary account with hdfc bank in may, 2016 with the help of executive, he did not give me any information regarding demat account linked to it. They are deducting rs 885 annually as annual maintenance charges whereas i am never aware of that i have such account. I only got to know in july, 2018 when i say my mini statement where it was mentioned that rs 885has been deducted as depository charges. It's typical fraud case where executive did not educate customer with all the details even dont send any deduction message.
